Unprofessional customer service, I came in with a freshly pierced septum and asked for it to be removed because i was in a lot of pain since it was pierced incorrectly. The piercer at the front took my piercing out and it hurt a lot so i yelped from the pain and he gave me attitude asking why i screamed so loud if all he’s trying to do is help me and told me he should have never helped me. First of all, anyone who had a piercing pierced wrong understands how painful it is to remove the piercing. i screamed from pain, not him yanking it out. He was very rude and i would not suggest anyone come here unless you’re okay with being treated badly. btw i cried from relief and he did not show sympathy.

Originally when I came here I was very upset, the piercer lied to me. I asked for a needle piercing, he said it would be a “new technique that’s even safer than needle” but it was a single use gun. 2 years later, one piercing is still not healed and I had to repierce the other 2. I’ve gotten various cartilage piercings since (but at different salons) and every other piercing i’ve gotten is healed, except this one. Not only is the piercing a major problem, the customer service there was abysmal, and I was told to stop asking questions when asking if I could use a different jewelry, and Sam was constantly arguing w and insulting another woman worker in the store. My other piercings at other places near by have healed perfectly. Since the business likes to say negative reviews are fake and defamatory, i’ll attach pics to prove my point (the lobe picture was right after the piercing and before it all went wrong. The helix is current, showing that to date it’s still inflamed (i wash it properly btw)).

Sam’s silver image is my go to place for piercings, he’s super reliable and his work is fast and efficient. I got all my piercings here and every time I have a question or concern with my piercings, he has always helped and gave great advice. He is super nice and he never rushes his work. I always leave the place satisfied with my new piercing and jewelry. 100% recommend

I dont normally leave reviews or anything but Im super happy with my experience! Came to get my earlobes re-pierced after a year of infection after my original piercing, so I was a bit nervous about pain, healing and reliving that experience in general. It slipped my mind to ask my piercer her name but I loved her so much :) She was super sweet and had such a calming energy and explained to me how long itd take to heal, what to use to clean, and even hair products to avoid. Literally took three minutes tops. Its only been a few days but I havent felt an ounce of pain, no secretion and no swelling. I cannot wait to come back if and when I decide to pierce my upper lobe or helix.

I have been going to this location for a few years now and I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to get their ears pierced with a trusted individual. Sam always took great care of my piercings and he always makes sure to give me tips on how to take care of my fresh piercings and what to avoid so that the healing process is good. There is an update to this review ‼️4/28/2023:Got my nipples pierced and Sam was very thorough about instructions on aftercare. He was super professional and patient. I overheard that he has been in business for about 28 years, I think, and it shows. It was not painless because, seriously, cmon its the second most sensitive part of my body lmao. But it WAS quick and I really appreciate that. He talked me through it and talked me down when I tensed up. Nipples are $45 each (including jewelry) and the aftercare solution is $8. My cousin got her septum pierced and that cost $50 (i think, and that also includes jewelry). I will definitely go back to him for any future piercings. He knows his stuff! 10/10 I will be recommending him to everyone! 🩵Update (today, 8/14/2024):Sam has no idea what hes doing. I now have a piercing lady where I live that educated me on the importance of going to a piercer that knows what theyre doing, shes in Connecticut, but if youre ever in the area and need a piercing... Then head over to Luna Piercing & Fine Jewelry in Rockville, Connecticut. Laura saved these two piercings.Anyways, Sam used incorrect jewelry. The jewelry was too long and too thin, so it would cut into my raw skin and get caught on literally anything, even if I was wearing a shirt. It took me a year to fix it, after moving to Connecticut. But do not go here. Sam cant be trusted with sizing his jewelry to fit fresh piercings correctly.Before moving to Connecticut and going to Luna Moth, I was visiting my mom in Wayne, NJ and tried to fix it at Pleasurable Piercings. The person who attempted to fix it gave me a thicker bar for my nipples but never changed the length. It wasnt until months later, I finally got the correct sized jewelry and could take a deep sigh of relief that there would be no more bleeding from them getting irritated.Learn from my mistakes:• do not skimp out on a good piercer just because its too expensive because youll end up paying more for it in the end.• do not go to a flea market piercer, even if they dont use piercing guns• do your research!!!Obviously no photos attached, just use your imagination 🌈✨

I took my 3-month old baby here to get her ears pierced and I’m so glad I did! Sam and the young lady that worked there were so patient and knowledgeable. The whole process was methodical and efficient. I always believe that Sam is a pillar to the community ! So many of us have gone to him over the years knowing we’d get the piercing we’ve wanted for a while, safely, affordably and (almost) painlessly. I wanted a nose piercing to mark off a difficult time in my life. I was a bit nervous, especially about the pain and blood. The lady at the counter showed me the two choices that I had for an initial piercing. She answered my questions and I had a few! Then I went into the backroom and Sam told me about aftercare and answered more questions. Then he pierced my nose. I am still pleasantly surprised about how I took an awl to the face. Then he put the jewelry in. The process hurt a little but was so quick!Honestly I had my upper ears pierced at Claires almost 25 years ago and I STILL remember that pain! This nose piercing barely bled...and Im on a blood thinner! I dont even feel it. Two times I brushed my nose with my fingers last night by accident because I forgot that it was there.Sam actually gave me some tips about my upper ear piercings. Truly, a master of his craft.I definitely will recommend this place for others who are looking for piercings. Thank you for such a positive experience.

I’ve been going to Sam’s for so many years I’ve lost count. He’s done all of my piercings, and I refuse to go anywhere else. Both him and Suzana are super friendly and professional, it’s also very clean and sanitary there. Anyone who’s looking to get pierced I recommend Sam’s. They were rushing the piercing and they marked the piercing very unevenly. They will charge for a very expensive price. They only marked a few dots and rush through the process to ask if you are fine. Go to the bronx or somewhere else for a better pricing and results. They were also very disrespectful picking their nose and touching the piercing with unclean hands.

I’ve been going to Sam for close to 8 years. All my piercings have healed perfectly and I have never gotten an allergic reaction. He is well educated and kind. He is always accessible through his social media or through the phone. I never hesitate to go to him if I have questions or need advice. Small but great shop! Went here to get a naval piercing and Sam explained the entire healing process as well as how to take care of the piercing. They accept credit and it was $45 with the piercing (They had a wide range of starter jewelry). It was a quick and painless process, definitely recommend!

Hes careful when it comes to disinfecting both the space and the area of the piercing. Hes also very informative with after care instructions along with the time of healing. By following his instructions carefully, I never had any real issues with the piercing and it also healed fairly quickly. Pricing of the piercings are fair and what I also really love about his shop is the variety of jewelry options to choose from. My go to would be the 14k gold/white gold option. Not to mention, he also offers a stamp card in which you get a discount for every visit.Give Sam a shot if you havent yet already. You wont be disappointed and will definitely get your monies worth.

Sam is the best! Teenagers have been going to him for years to safely pierce their bodies. My first time here was when I was 14 and over a decade later, he’s still the only one I trust. Sam is amazing! I got a double tragus and a conch piercing about a month ago. I have a history with my cartilage piercings not healing well but these have been healing beautifully so far! One of my tragus piercings accidentally fell out while I was cleaning it. I saved the jewlery and brought it to Sam and he helped me put the jewlery back into place free of charge! I will definitely come back if I ever decide to get any more piercings (which I definitely will in the future) !!!

I came here over two years ago. This is gonna be a bit long but there’s this piercing place right next to Sam’s and I was supposed to go there at first but the guy was very rude. And so I went to the piercer right next over because I didn’t want to keep my grandma and uncle waiting. Best thing I ever did honestly. I was very nervous around Sam at first because I thought he might be rude too but he was so nice and funny. I was scared of getting my first ever piercing beside my earlobes and he made it very easygoing. Next thing you know, the next year I’m getting an industrial, and 3 other ear piercings and then a tongue piercing. I always go to him. Every piercing I’ve had is done by him and has always healed very well and if there are any complications, he always helps and tells me what to do to fix it. The prices are good. The jewelry’s pretty. Everything here is great. Definitely 100% go to him. I don’t usually do reviews and whenever I do, their very honest. He’s great at what he does.

Make sure you find the real Sam. The one close to the entrance is not him. Look for the neon sign. I got tricked by the store near the entrance into getting my lobes pierced by a gun. They were too tight and they were not in the right place. So I was suspicious. When I came back, I finally found the real store, which is all the way down, close to the end of the hallway.Sam is an excellent professional piercer. He removed the tight stubs and cleaned my wounds carefully. When they stopped bleeding, Sam pierced my ear lobes with a needle. He did it effortlessly and so smoothly that it was much better than the gun piercing. Wow, in one day I experienced two piercings, and I can tell you confidently that Sam’s craftsmanship and spirit make a difference. He is to be entrusted.

I discovered Sam’s place upon a friend’s referral, and am glad I did. Sam is very caring about his customer’s needs and knows exactly what he is doing. He takes his job very seriously. His prices for piercings and jewelry are more than fair. I prefer to use 14K gold/white gold and can get pretty and simple designs for a fraction of the price of many online stores. My last visit to his shop was 1 week ago and he has taken all the necessary precautions for the reopening phase. Sam is the only person I will go to for piercings.

I went today to get my belly and nose pierced. The girl in the front, as well as sam were very attentive and helpful. Sam made sure to explain in detail how to take care of the piercings so they wouldn’t get infected. The piercings were not painful at all and everything was done pretty quick. Sam’s is the best place for CLEAN and QUICK PAINLESS piercings. He has well over twenty years of piercing experience. I have been going there for ten years, and still have never ever had a problem with my piercings and I have over 30– all done by Sam. When I moved upstate for school I went to other piercers, mistaken of course, I had such awful experiences with other piercers who work much slower and less precise. That made me realize how professional Sam is, very meticulous and also works fast which makes the piercing hurt much less. I now travel hours to come back to Main st for Sam’s Silver Image!

I had been on the hunt all over Queens to get a cartilage piercing done with a needle for a reasonable price. Sam is the way to go! He is so knowledgeable of what earring is best for you and walks you through the after care. Sam is TRULY a professional in the piercing and jewelry industry. I’ve been going to Sam for over 15 years!!! I’ve moved all over NYC and still come back to him. I can’t make this up. Sams is the only place I go to to get my piercings done. The tools he uses are very clean and Sam always explains how to take care of the piercing. Hes very experienced and Ive never got an infection! Whenever I would have any questions I could always ask him on his Facebook page which is very convenient. I actually went to this place because of all the positive reviews but I guess I had high exceptions cause he wasn’t all that great. He was judgmental and slightly rude. He barely smiled back when I smiled at him. I felt uncomfortable and awkward after I left the place because I didn’t know why he behaved such way when I was being nice to him. But one positive thing about the experience was the girl at the front desk. She was quite friendly and helpful.The piercing healed nicely and didn’t give me trouble. I got gun piercing for my earlobe, which he kinda disapproved b/c of good reasons. He’s skillful at what he does. I just wish I had a better experience with him. 😩

Sams awesome! I went to get my ear lobes re-pierced, 2 on each side. He checked which ones were closed and which werent. He also redid one that wasnt matching the same distance as the other side. Afterwards he thoroughly explained the aftercare. Thanks for an awesome experience!

Sam pierced my belly, which felt like absolutely nothing, and also my nose. He’s the best. I just went in to change my nose stud to a gold hoop for the first time and he installed it for free and the prices are good. Gives great advice to make sure your piercings don’t get infected, and when it does, he takes care and treats them if you go to him, and also very responsive if you message him. I love him! I recommend getting all your piercings here. Best spot in Queens.

Sam is amazing!! I got my Tragus done by someone else twice and it got infected and had a keloid both times. I finally took it out and went to Sam and he pierced it again in the same spot and I have no keloid or infection at all! Got other piercings done by him he is great!

Got my septum pierced twice before by another piercer and it was SUPER crooked and was told my nose is too deviated for one, but then I went to Sam and he assured me my nose is great and pierced me with NO PROBLEMS whatsoever. I came with a messed up detached forward helix piercing from another piercer and Susana (I believe) talked me through what happened to it & how to take care of it after she replaced the earring. Really friendly guy and knowledgeable, he said to keep in the stainless steel studs he used to do the piercing to avoid any issues, since I had brought some sterling silver ones. Gave me a good price for doing both lobes with the gun, and there was virtually no pain. Good communication through Google messages too when I reached out as I didnt know what it would be like with covid restrictions.

Sam and Suzana are the best! Theyre both incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and reasonable with prices. Suzanna made sure I liked the earrings I picked out and talked me through the 4-5 styles that I liked. One of my cartilage piercings have been infected for months, and Sam helped me pop it partially (ow) and told me what to do to have it heal (iodine in the wound for 4-5 days).

Very disappointed. I am not new to piercings but I wanted a nose piercing. I drove all the way to Flushing because of the great google reviews at this place and my regular shop moved all the way to Brooklyn.I walked in there and everything was going great. Sam told me about the process with his minty fresh breath and how to take care of a nose piercing. I was brimming with excitement that I would finally have my nose pierced. Then his phone rang. After a few minutes on the phone he pierced my nose....and it didnt work, he pierced it a second time and it still didnt work. He attempted to try a third time but I was already traumatized. No! I exclaimed. That was my sign not to do it, now I have a hole in my nose and would have to seek another piercer.Sam told me my nose was too thick 😂 and this never happened to him before. He also said he does about 3 nose piercings a day. I didnt even know noses could be thick like rhino skin. Waste of time.At least he didnt attempt to charge for services he couldnt do. He was very nice otherwise and told me I could get a free piercing anywhere else or a raincheck for the nose piercing. No thank you. I would not like to go 2 or 3 more rounds for a nose piercing to stick. Just so disappointed 😔Update: Today August 10th 2019, I went to NYC ink in the village. The owner, ironically another Sam... pierced my nose in 5 minutes or less... No problems and very minimal pain just me being traumatized I thought it would be worse. I would definitely recommend NYC ink, more expensive but no headaches or disappoints.

He made me feel super uncomfortable while he was piercing my ear. He asked mesuper personal questions that werent appropriate. His breath also smelled like hes been drinking.

This tiny piercing place located in the heart of Flushing on Main St. is widely popular. A lot of my friends recommended for me to go here to get a cheap yet good quality piercing. Taking their advice, I went here to get three piercings which were all relatively inexpensive and done quickly and painlessly. However, when I went for my second ear piercing- my right ear did develop a small infection. With some basic treatment of rubbing alcohol and a cream the infection got smaller. Overall my experience at Sams Silver Image Piercing Place was alright. The utensils he used seemed clean and there was a nice variety of jewelry to choose from. I recommend going here for cute simple piercings.

You tell Sam what you want, hell advise you how to take care of it, what to stay away from, pierce you, even give you some bacitracin to take care of your new piercing, and youll be on your way. I have been pierced here eight times and have never gotten an infection. For the most part hell take care of post piercing complications for free. I have been coming to Sam’s for literally 10 years now I think. He KNOWS his stuff & literally takes responsibility from the time he pierces you until you’re fully healed. He even responds to your concerns on Facebook. I first came to him with my tragus ripped out because it was incorrectly done by someone else AND with unevenly spaced out earlobe piercings. Today i have multiple lobe piercings, forward helix, tragus, rook, etc and they’re all well done and healed. I love that he gives you advice on what looks nicer too cause I’m always confused on what I want and he always knows the look I’m trying to go for. It was an amazing experience me and my best friend went there to get our left cartlilege ear pierced and it was done very well. The customer service was excellent, they put a lot of care towards their customers and providing them with good information in how to take care of the piercings and information of healing proces and what to do and not to do after any type of piercings. I went today to get my first cartilage piercings after hearing all the great reviews from my friends. i wanted one on each ear but she (sorry didnt get her name :/ ) recommended i dont do that because it will hurt to sleep so i just got two on my right ear. she was very nice and explained everything in detail from the earrings, to how to clean them. she repeated the cleaning process twice and told me how to properly clean them. i have a big fear of needles but she was so nice and gentle on my ears. she allowed me a little break in between each piercing to breathe cause i was really scared. i was shaking a LOT but she was nice the whole time. i will probably come back for more piercings.

Ill give the piercing girl props because shes pretty exact with a gun and she tried to keep things sanitary but my experience there was still god awful. I got a tragus done on my left ear and the spot she hit was next to a nerve and it was really painful. The jewelry used was too big and obviously not for that area. The back of the piercing was too tight and stuck on my friends used pliers and tweezers and went at it for over an hour to free my ear. It took quit a while to heal after and when speaking to a professional he was actually blown away at this. Honestly never going back here.
