Adam does phenomenal work - easy to communicate with and bounce ideas off of. My tattoo was a perfect collaboration of what I wanted and his vision for what the end piece would be. Crisp lines combined with the perfect combination of negative space and shading.Our session was roughly 7-8 hours long from start to finish and I never felt uncomfortable or as if my skin was getting over worked. 10/10 would recommend him to anybody looking to get work done. Without a doubt One of the best artists in the area.

I’ve been getting tattoed by Adam at underground ink for about 4 years and have no plans of letting anyone else tattoo me anytime soon. He’s completed my arm sleeve and leg sleeve along with several other large peices. I get complimented all the time on his work. My leg peice was an award winner at the Milwaukee tattoo convention in 2023. Adams style is aggressive, unique, bold, and high quality. He’s a true craftsman’s and a great artist. I was in desperate need of a cover up and Adam at Underground Ink Tattoos in FDL was able to get me in last minute. I decided to use a photo of Franciszek (my 2nd great grandpa) as I’ve always been drawn to him. I can’t wait to see how it looks next week! *Coming from another artist whos been in the industry for 15 years* Underground Inks rating should definitely be higher than what it is. These 1 star ratings are definitely inaccurate. Adam is most definitely professional and takes his work very seriously. Im confused honestly to why very few felt they were rubbed the wrong way. And 2 of the 1 star reviews werent even tattoo related and on a personal level. But Adam definitely doesnt deserve backlash if hes too busy to not address everyone all at once at their own convenience. I definitely give him 5 stars as an artist and as my friend

Ive had Adam do quite a few of my tattoos. EVERY experience has been PHENOMENAL!!! Treats you like youve known one another for Years and you could have walked in that day for the first time. He listens to your ideas whilst keeping top notch professionalism but still laughs and jokes with you like youre best friends. His Watercolor Style is AWESOME!! His attention to color and shading is unique and his clean and sterile work can put even the most hypochrondriatic of people at ease!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED over and over again!!!!

I went to Adam for my first ‘big girl’ tattoo, I was so nervous and thought I was going to back out. But I didn’t because he made me feel so comfortable and at home. I love that he has his private rooms so when you’re getting a tattoo when someone walks in they can’t see you. It made my fear go away really fast. If you’re looking for an artist that’s affordable and well worth the time, Adam the person to go to. I’ve always had a good time whether I’m there for a hour or four.

My girlfriends and I went to Adam for tattoos for my 50th Birthday. We told him what we had in mind and he came up with a great tattoo for us. Loved him so much I went back for another one. He’s also done some of my sons tattoos and they are all awesome. He is a great guy to work with.

The quality of Adams work is hit or miss. If youre having a fairly simplistic style of tattoo his work has nice lines and colors. If it comes to a more complex realistic tattoo, the out come depends on how he feels that day or how overworked he is.With my sessions with Adam more and more ink was added until fine details were lost and it just started to look blobby with thick lines.He was also quick to blame me whenever something went wrong with the ink.

I am entirely appalled at the owners treatment of customers. He has displayed unprofessionalism to the degree I have never heard of from any professional tattoo artist. Unsanitary conditions including having a dog in the shop is entirely unacceptable within the tattooing and body modification industry. If youre not looking for an artist that is unprofessional, looking to do a quick job, and ready to take the money and run regardless of quality, and unreliable, do not go here. The latest work I have seen was shoddy at best, even worse when compared to some of the novice artists I know. Its almost as if he has lost his passion, or just doesnt care anymore. Unbelievable how he can still get customers when he treats his previous customers as he has. Such unprofessionalism should not be seen when he permanently instills sub adequate art upon their skin. I cannot and will not recommend this establishment. If you are looking for tattoos look elsewhere, or at very least do not have Adam Mumper tattoo you.

DO NOT GO TO ADAM MUMPER OWNER OF UNDERGROUND INK❗️❗️❗️I went to Adam for my first tattoo back in January. He was extremely unprofessional, did very poor quality of work and I am very unsatisfied. I had my appointment booked with a $50 deposit for 3-4 months. A few hours before the appointment he texts me to reschedule. I was not able to do it the next day when he wanted so we compromised on later that same day. During the appointment he said I might have to go to let the dogs out but I hope not for both our sake. I also found out from his Facebook page afterwards that he changed his hourly rate and did not inform me. Therefore it costed more than he had quoted me. After it was healed I saw I needed a touch up because half was extremely faded, and not clear or crisp whatsoever, there are noticeable breaks in the lines and major depth issues with the ink not being the way it should be. Extremely poor quality as it is right now. So I sent him a picture like he said to and texted him about it the next day after no response to the picture. No response once again. So last week I tried to contact him again. I contacted him throughout the week and no answer. Today I stopped in at underground ink to talk to him. He was extremely rude and said that I am on the waitlist and that it will be at least another 6 months before I can get in for my touch up. I am moving out of state in about 3 months. Now I am stuck and have to attempt to find a different artist that would be willing to do the touch up and pay even more for it. He was extremely unprofessional from the beginning. He was extremely rude today when I went in asking what do I need a touch up for?. Please save yourself the frustration and DO NOT GO TO ADAM MUMPER AT UNDERGROUND INK ❗️❗️❗️

Very professional, willing to hear you out, and always delivers amazing quality. Out of the 5 tattoos I have, only 2 of them were done by the same person at the same place, and that is Underground Ink. Im actually planning on setting up an appointment for a third tattoo soon, and I absolutely plan on scheduling it with Adam.

Adam Mumper was awesome through all 3 sessions of getting my Chester Bennington(front man of Linkin Park) Memorial piece on my forearm. He had great suggestions and color ideas and was always courteous about how you felt and if you wanted to change anything that he would listen. I believe I have had this tattoo for over a year and a half now and I will always be obsessed with it because I took his words and let him do his thing and in the end I loved it. So definitely worth the wait if you have an appointment set up already!
