Got a Friday the 13th flash tattoo. David was my tattoo artist. Was very happy with my tattoo outcome. It looks freaking great! The place was clean, people were friendly. They had it decorated for Halloween. Looks good in there. I already got something in place for my next tattoo. @Davidpalacios thanks brother.

Got a tattoo here this month. The work is great, but the communication, pricing, and work pace were very lacking from my experience.Im not a newbie to tattoos, been getting tattoos for over 15 years. Pricing by the piece is best for the costumer: you are aware of what youre expected to pay, you can make an informed decision to decide whether what youre being offered for you money is worth it, and you can avoid issues, such as artists working to gain the most from their by the hour sessions.Typically, deposits are used towards your tattoos total price. That is not the case here.My experience was pretty much as follows: I was scheduled for a 9 am appointment, I was there at 8:45, but nobody showed up until 9:50. He said it was a mistake, okay no big deal mistakes happen.I was not told of the by the hour pricing until the night before the tattoo, even though I had messaged him to see a couple of weeks before then asking about what I could expect to pay. I remessaged him after receiving the confirmation message. I also was not told my deposit was an art fee (200), that would not be put towards my tattoo until I had a conversation with the artist after my appointment had been done.I had messaged him that I was unhappy with the progress that was made during the session. He was very communicative and seemed to feel bad for the situation. He did make a couple of offers, that I did not take him up on. I told him its like going to a restaurant and complaining to the chef about the food. You stop ordering food after that, you dont order more.I admit, Ive worked with other very quality artists before, such as Rockabilly Ray (LA), Tattoo Junior (Whittier), and more, who have simple, by the piece pricing, easy communication, and fast paced work thats still high quality. Not saying this guy wasnt good, I just was unhappy with the progress, but I could very well be wrong in that. I only have 2 pieces bigger than the one I got here, so not much to compare to.Its understandable, different artists have different ways of doing things, but I find that its easier for artists who charge by the hour to, intentionally or not, work at a pace thats more beneficial to them, thus gaining more sessions than may be necessary. For example, during my session, the artist checked his phone several times and there were several minutes where there was no needle to skin, allowing the skin to relax, then tattooing again, which made the skin tender. Pain is one thing, and Im fine with that, but this is something that typically high quality artists, such as this guy, avoid, as its an unnecessary pain to clients and their experience.Overall, I felt the art was slow-paced, but very high quality, and you do pay handsomely for the art here, and Im not saying it isnt worth it. I felt like he could have incorporated a little more of what I had sent him in the reference photos, such as chunky jewelry and flowers, but I only saw the piece moments before the tattoo, so I let that go as well as we were already behind from my scheduled appointment time by over an hour at that point. Again, an accident Im sure.I just want people, especially the new crowd, to understand that there are options. You dont have to pay 2, 3, or 4 times as much as another artist to get high quality tattoos, especially when going to pop up or Instagram artists, which is not what Im saying happened here; I think this guy is an actual artist. Im just saying be careful. Asking questions and getting firm answers is key to making sure you are comfortable with what youre paying and what youre getting.I have included a picture: So, for 1000 (200 art fee/deposit; $800 4 hour session) this is the piece I received. A beginning to a great piece, with the outline and incomplete shading for a 4 hour session.

My wife and I got tattoos from Victor. She got a Squirtle holding an ice cream cone, and I got a Charmander that dropped his.Victor came up with awesome artwork for the tattoos, leaving both my wife and me very happy.The shop is very clean, and the staff is very welcoming.Ill absolutely be coming back here again for future work.

David Pozo is amazing. I had my first tattoo done by him (actually I got two at once). I felt comfortable with him the entire time. He always made sure I was okay and time flew with our conversation. His work is *chefs kiss* and I will be going to him again. All the staff are nice as well.

First time going here for an anime tattoo of Alucard from Hellsing Ultimate that I’ve wanted for awhile and it looks like the image was taken right from the screen🤩. My artist was David Palacios. He did exceptional work from placement to throughout the process; he made sure I was comfortable. He was professional and very knowledgeable in his craft. Price wise you get what you pay for, its going to be on your skin for a lifetime so want a good piece pay it forward. I had no problem with that. I left the building a happy customer. Looking forward to getting my next tattoo there in the future✨ I would recommend either call in or communicate through the # on their instagram, that’s how I was able to be booked and it worked out well for me.

Johnathan Balaty is the BEST tattoo artist! I don’t go to anyone else. My friends and family go to him for any tattoo. He does an amazing job. I highly recommend him.

I had a great experience here, my tattoo artist was David Palacios & he did a great job on my hand tattoo which is a tribute to my mother Rosa (the numbers on my fingers, I already had). Great environment to be tattood in; great conversacions to distract from any pain, workers were really nice, good music playing, worth every penny and dime. Will be happily returning soon for another tattoo(s) in the next couple months.I highly recommend this shop & of course my tattoo artist; David Palacios!

I got a tattoo revamp/ add on by Johnny and let me tell you not only is the shops vibe really relaxing but I felt so relaxed working with Johnny. He kept me in the process of my tattoo and asked how I felt about certain aspects. The shop itself is modern and relaxing with snacks/ coffee for guests and great music. I highly recommend both Johnny and the shop :)

I had an appointment with Johnny. I live in Orange Country so a bit of a drive but so worth it. He does such beautiful work I’ve had so many compliments and he makes it painless, he has such a light hand. As for the shop it’s a cool little corner definitely good vibes, everyone was so nice and welcoming. I definitely recommend.

Johnny is a gem! After viewing his work, coming to him was a no brainer! I’ve wanted this portrait for so long but didn’t seriously pursue due to not having the faith & trust in other artists. All inhibitions were tossed after our first meeting. He was confident, creative and thorough in explanation of processes. Not only is he a splendid guy, he’s passionate about his craft and is sure to always gather input before, during and after the creation of his masterpieces. If you have a complex idea in mind, trust in Johnny!! You surely won’t regret it!!

After doing some research on local parlors and artists i decided to try Dark Hearts for my first tattoo. I was not disappointed! the parlor itself is beautiful and clean and my artist #Breeebaby_tattoos did an amazing job! The tattoo took about 45 minutes and i have had absolutely zero irritation or soreness. I will definitely be back for an arm tattoo once i save up. i could not have asked for a better first tattoo experience!

I chose Andrew Audish for my back piece as soon as I knew I wanted flowers. I had heard that he loved doing flower tattoos and I knew I wanted something original. The best part about it was that he hand drew the whole thing, I gave him my ideas and he literally put it down on paper and on me!Besides that, the store was also well put together and clean! You knew you were going to get quality work as soon as you stepped into the place. I had a great experience and I am definitely going to come back. If you want a bad ass tattoo in a great environment by amazing artists, you need to go to Dark Hearts Tattoo. The work you get is a little pricey but it is worth every penny. Ive received so many compliments on the ink that Steve Rowes has done on my arm. People are always asking me where I go to get my work done. Hands down the nicest tattoo shop Ive been to and the artists are top notch.... Cant wait for my next session!!!

Absolutely love this place. The artists are cool and unpretentious; not like a lot of other tattoo artists that I have experienced dealing with. I got a full sleeve on my left arm from Steve Rowes and couldnt be more happy with it. The work is clean, and the environment is clean, no worries of unsanitary work in this establishment. Ask for Mike, Andrew, or Steve; all of their work is clean professional work. It may be a bit pricey to some people, but the quality owns up to the price. You will not regret getting something tatted by this shop, considering that it will be on your person for life.

Amazing shop. My artist is Miyo words cant explain how happy I am so far with her work. She takes her time and makes sure your comfortable. Iv read a few comments saying the price is too high. However you pay for what you get if your looking for professional work by professional artist it wont be cheap. I have done 2 sessions so far and nothing to complain about at all. Very clean and friendly shop. You can clearly tell its ran and operated by true professionals.

I was able to walk in with my design already printed. After about 15 minutes is stencil work, I was on the table. The artist, Kyle, took his time to make sure it came out perfectly. He took breaks to make sure everything was shaded and touched up several areas. There was no visible difference between my print out and the tattoo. Id recommend him and this shop to anyone interested in a tattoo. The price was fair and I was in and out in about 2 hours. Next tat I get will be there as well.

I came into Dark Hearts after seeing some work on instagram and loved what I saw. My artist was David Pozo and he definitely exceeded all of my expectations. I provided him a picture of a manatee and when I came in for my appointment, this is what he showed me. The detail on the face, the body, and the little bubbles are truly amazing. David brought my dream tattoo to life and I couldn’t be happier.

This shop is hands down one of the best youll ever go to! I went to several shops to find the right place to get my first tattoo and luckily I came across this one. The cleanliness, the professionalism, and the artwork are simply on another level. Steve did an unbelievable job on my arm and I cant thank him enough for it. I got my tattoo done by Miyo on 06/09/17 and I love it! This was my very first tattoo I ever got and Dark Hearts made it such an easy experience. I was looking at other shops around the Inland Empire and I chose Dark Hearts because of the friendly environment and awesome work they have. Bathroom is nice and clean.Art absolutely nailed what I wanted and was very kind and open to ideas. Very light on the hand which made my chest piece doable.I would have given five stars but the one bad thing...the Playlist Made me want to throw up in tinfoil and eat it.Totally just kidding guys, just wanted to make sure you were still reading. Dark Hearts Tattoo is once again absolutely amazing. Clean fresh not to mention very professional! Recently moved to the area and came across Dark Hearts Tattoo after much research. I had my expectations (which were high) and I knew what I was looking for. I visited the shop and... I was completely blown away. The shop was super super super clean and looked amazing with all the art on the walls. I was immediately greeted by the lovely Miyo and consulted right away by Andrew Audish. I told him what I wanted and he came up with a beautiful piece for me. Now, if you are someone who is expecting to haggle when it comes to prices, dont even think about it with these guys. But I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for, and I promise they are worth every single penny!!! So proud to wear Andrews masterpiece on my arm and will be going back for my next tattoo without a doubt. :)

Got a big tattoo on my upper arm from Andrew. Trust me on this, he will delivery a mind blowing design with all your suggestions and his creativity. He is super in detail especially good for tattooing realistic things. And the most importatnt part, he is fast and professional as hell. It would took other artiest 10 hours to do the work with such details, but he only took six, and the quality is the king! Many thanks.

So much, that it encouraged me to move forward in getting some ink done. Jimmy Caves was my tattoo artist who hooked me up w/ an amazing FREE HAND tattoo. The finished product is so beautiful & realistic. I get a slew of compliments from so many people. Ive already had one person ask if they can get my custom tattoo done on their arm. I, of course said NO! lol Their prices are pretty expensive, but you get what you pay for. So I was extremely happy to pay the cost for such an amazing piece. Thank you Jimmy!! I wish I could give this place 6 stars if possible. I was there yesterday and I had the honor of seeing all the artists do their thing. I saw Andrew creating a wonderful watercolor Circa Survive piece in 4 hours and I had the privilege of working with Miyo and Steve. Miyo helped draw the frame for my tattoo and it is super legit! I am so proud of my tattoo and It was worth every penny. I feel so happy that my piece is original and was created by wonderful artists. Steve was so kind and patient with me that I cannot thank him enough. His skills are amazing!

I am so in love with my tattoos! The staff is excellent and really make you feel at home! They listen to what you and work with you until you both are in agreement with exactly what it is that you want they show patience and cleanliness which is very hard to find anywhere! Prices are high but its quality over quantity and absolutely worth it!!!

This shop has an awesome vibe, very clean, and rad art all over. There are no rooms, but they have wall-like dividers up to seperate each artists station, so you do have privacy. Ive got two palm-size, custom, traditional style pieces from Kyle. Ive had the pleasure to meet a couple of the other artists, too, and they are all so, so nice! Cant recommend this place enough!

My experience was A1 from the minute I got there. My artist, Jimmy Caves, did a phenomenal job on the forearm pieces we had been working on for months. His custom lettering/freehand is a thing of beauty. Although the price was high, the end product was well worth the money and the pain. Plus, who can beat a tattoo shop that has music playing and Netflix going (with subtitles of course) during your session. Great location, great artists.

Great customer service and clean establishment. Their work was phenomenal, and definitely on point. Ive been to other tattoo parlors and this was by far the best. It feels good knowing your on good hands.

Had the random urge to get tatted and called them to see if the do walks in and they said they had a no show so I came in got tattd and biggest mistake that person made. Art was extremely professional and the eintr crew was forthcoming and held great conversations. best random urge ever!!! I remember walking into the tattoo shop with no expectancy no knowledge of what I was getting myself into but I know that I wanted some artwork done !! Introduce myself to Andrew he started showing me some of his work right off the bat was a very humble and polite person little did I know his artwork is very talented what started off as just as a rose end up becoming a full sleeve and more so I would say walk your ass inside and get tatted lol all the guys there at the shop would definitely impress you !!!

Miyo is awesome and did a great job on my tattoo. She is a no bs kind of gal and will tell you straight up what she thinks and if she is comfortable doing the tattoo or if she feels someone else might be better at a certain style. Remember you get what you pay for so for something that isnt basic you should really consider getting a tattoo here. If it is simple they will not let you down. You dont want to be one of those people with bad tattoos.

Just had a great session with my buddy Steve Rowes. The shop is amazing and very clean (a must). The atmosphere is great and the staff is so welcoming and friendly. Just ask for Steve. You wont be disappointed as Steve does amazing work.

Came in for a couple half sleeves with James caves, let me just start off with saying I got everything I asked for and more. was a lil expensive but it didnt stop me from paying for my tat and leaving a handsome tip. The shop itself was nice and welcoming. they definitely got a client for life!

The lady at the front desk is completely racist and love to take advantage of back men with outrageous prices for a small cover up. $100 for booking plus $150 to start thats $250 for no work done pure craziness. Dont go here!!

Steve did not keep hishonor other appointment time, and it seemed as he drew the piece right on the spot. He did not check in to see if I likes the piece early in the week, otherwise I would not have gotten his work.

I got a tattoo and over time, about 2 months later, I realized that it was fading, and I asked if they could do a touch-up, since it only consisted of going over two letters. The young man who tattooed me, David Palacios, told me that he would send me a message in which he would give me the appointment, I did not receive a message, then I had to go to the store again to ask for an appointment, I understand that it is a art work that requires time and that day he gave me the appointment for 15 days after that date. When the day of the appointment arrived, he wasnt there and he didnt even call me to cancel the appointment, and I made a long trip from my work to the gallery just to receive this treatment, I dont think customer treatment has to be this way since the tattoo I got was not that complicated and it was just two fine lines that I had to touch up. Why is it so complicated for someone to give a notice or call to cancel an appointment? To this day I have never received any calls, and that is the reason why I do not recommend this artist; since art goes together with customer service.
