I contacted Joshua Espinosa about getting my hands tattooed. From that first email to the session, it has been a great experience. Hes been a true professional and worked with me every step of the way. He did my right hand yesterday and Im a thousand percent happy and grateful for the remarkable work he did. It was exactly what I wanted and turned out better than I even envisioned it.During the session he didnt mess around and got right to it. He was really easy to talk with, and we even bounced some ideas around for future work. By far one of the best tattoo sessions Ive ever had considering it was the most painful. We joked the whole season about how hands are no joke. Very very painful, but he made sure I was doing ok throughout the session, which was awesome.Joshua is a talented artist who makes your vision a reality. Ashley did this adorable little rose near my ankle for a valentines day flash special and it healed so well! This is a little over a month healed. She was very sweet and had the most comfortable chair setup and environment. Will definitely come back!

12 hours of work in one go...This was my first ever Tattoo. I had spent years thinking about who I wanted to go to and the design I wanted. I finally decided, and found this gem of a place. They made this experience a memorable one. Ryan was my artist and was incredible. From before we started, until Im (at the time of this review) nearly fully healed, Ryan has been with my every step of the way. Ive asked tons of questions about aftercare and even prep leading up to the session and Ive gotten quick responses and educational ones.The work is incredible and I cant stop looking at it. Ryans skill and passion in his work speaks through in the results of what Ryans done for me, and undoubtebly others. There isnt going to be another artist that I trust with this type of style because they captured exactly what I envisioned and Im ecstatic about the results. Im probably annoying everyone I know showing this piece of art and I simply do not care lol!I would reccommend anyone, especially someone looking for an anime tattoo, to seek out Ryan. Easy to talk to, funny, patient, informative, and a master of the art. Ill be going back for more, to continue the jouney ive started until Ive decided im finished. Ryan, thank you again for giving me even more than I thought was possible. I cant stop being thankful for what youve done for me. I just started going to this shop and love it. The facility is clean and I personally love the aesthetic. Everyone is very professional that I have met so far and very nice.My artist Joe, is very mindful of my time and it appears all of the artists are very focused on getting their work started pretty quickly. Ive been to other artists where they made me wait multiple hours before even starting set up. So, that is a major quality that I value in a tattoo artist or shop as a whole.Joe is a fantastic artist who is great at any style of art which, is exactly why I chose him. I am very pleased with my experience so far and am really looking forward to continuing to work with him!!

The shop itself is clean and welcoming, and they are going the distance to ensure safety in these COVID times. Wash on arrival, masks, and limited occupancy. My artist was Nico Parks and she did an absolutely amazing job ensuring the experience was both efficient and welcoming. She was sure to operate at the comfort level and pace I wanted. The design she made for me was absolutely beautiful, and I couldnt be happier with the clean detail and amazing shading (picture to follow after healing). The other artists I met were also great and friendly - Holly was happy to show her latest work, and I can say you would be in good hands with her, Nico, or any artist there!

The shop was super clean and everyone was so friendly and nice. Dylan was my artist and he did an amazing job! I would definitely recommend him even if you have to drive a bit to get there. He had the lightest touch and was friendly and open to what I wanted. My friend and I both went in at the same time and both tattoos turned out amazing. Definitely worth checking out if youre in the market. The drive to Forest Grove was worth it!

My Husband and I went to see Dylan to get some custom anniversary tattoos. We could not be happier with the results! He was able to come up with designs that perfectly captured what we were going for, in his own style (which is why we wanted to go to him in the first place), and he was very easy to work with on-site when it came to minor change requests (which were few). His execution was excellent, and he answered all of the questions we had. Generally just a cool laid back person as well. We also really enjoyed the rest of the crew we interacted with at the shop. So glad we made the trip down!

Im SUPER happy with my experience and tattoo from Ryan Burke @ Necropolis Tattoo. We were able to hash out the designs mostly via email (COVID times and all) and when I came in for my appointment he had a few final questions to make sure I was getting what I wanted.I cant believe how awesome my tattoo turned out! Id been dreaming of a raptor tattoo for years and Ryans work speaks for itself. Cannot recommend him enough.

Dylan is by far the best artist I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. The work that he does absolutely blows me away every time. He’s super professional, has a very gentle touch, and really tries to make sure that you’re comfortable throughout the entire process. He is very easy to work with and does a great job of accomplishing the vision that you’re trying to achieve. If I could give him more than 5 stars I would. I’ve been tattooed by him twice now and can honestly say that of all of my tattoos, his are hands down my favorite. Both times now he has far exceeded my expectations. I came into Necropolis after getting work done at another shop that I was not satisfied with hoping someone would be able to fix the botched pieces. Joe was very nice and able to get me in that day. He looked over the pieces and immediately had a game plan on how to correct the mistakes. He was professional and took sanitation very seriously which I appreciate. He made me feel comfortable and confident in his ability to produce good work. I am very pleased with how he was able to fix the pieces to look much better than they had before. Everyone else at the shop seemed very nice and made it a great atmosphere to be in. I highly recommend Joe and definitely will be going back for new work.

Dylan Eckland just did my first tattoo today. Its my own unskilled drawing with but with special meaning, in what Ive been told is a sensitive spot. Certainly a private location.. He did a wonderful job perfecting my angles. It didnt hurt a bit. Other artists had quoted me 1.5 hrs. He was done in about 30 min. Was very professional about keeping me appropriately covered while getting the job done. For my sacred geometry, I am so glad I chose him!

I had heard of Necropolis Tattoo and was always impressed with their work.I followed them and one of their new artists, whos style caught my eye - Mark Tierney.I actually won this tattoo and it is my absolute favorite.His line work is clean and crisp. His fills are solid. And his company is very welcome. He did an all around amazing job and I cannot wait to get inked by him again.

A year or two ago I got two tattoos by Brian and had a horrible experience. They were both small tattoos around 2x2 that ended up taking an entire day for him to finish, while I was there I was left several times for long periods of time (open tattoo/half finished) he would leave to smoke very frequently which elongated the time on the two small tattoos. I felt that he was also pressing the needle in way too hard, after the tattoo had healed it was scarred and raised, still a few years later they are scarred. I didnt feel respected at all and did not feel that my time was respected either. I also felt that he was not into tattooing me or not passionate, but Im not sure. After talking to other tattoo artist they confirmed with me that the tattoos did take a way longer than they should have and also were scarred. I am currently needing to cover up both as they remind me of the bad experience/ they dont look great. I wanted to get my experience out, but do not wish to discuss with the shop.

I got my first two tattoos here. One from my childhood friend Meagan who is currently a student, the other from my cousin Dylan. Definitely a 5+ star from the experience I have had. My first tattoo from Meagan was a design she drew up that my twin sister and I wanted. I got a small ocean and a moon, my sister the sun and mountains both on our ribs. She did a really good job with asking how we were doing and making sure we had a good experience knowing it was our first tattoos.Dylan was the second who did my tattoo. This location above my right shoulder blade. I really wanted a butterfly, but I wasnt sure what else to add to detail. Knowing hes very amazing with geometrics, I asked if there was any way he could incorporate that into a tattoo. He did an outstanding job, and Im definitely getting another one through him. Ive gotten tons of compliments on it.There are so many amazing artists with so much talent. I hope if anyone is looking for somewhere with a good experience, as well as a tattoo they love... Definitely go here!!

Dylan was awesome! He made the entire process so easy and comfortable. Hes got a very gentle hand and an amazing eye with art! Easy to talk to and great conversation with Riley too! I would absolutely recommend this place.

Jocie Golden is a terrible artist and also a theif. We paid In advance for a certain price point, and then she was never In. The shop to make an appointment as she had another business also.. then The pandemic hit, and she told us she would let us know when she resumed tattooing. She did not. I had to reach out to her, and Due to disabilities, my partner and I must accompany one another, to which she said she would let me know when that would be also. Never did until today, where she raised the price, still refused to accommodate the disabilities AND said, you have 30 days to get it done at this raised price or it expires. I explained to her that it was not right to change the pre purchased agreement and instead she blocked me and stole our money. And her tattooing is horrendous. Buyers beware.

Got a simple chain tattoo near my wrist done by Brian a year ago and am definitely not satisfied with it. Lines arent straight and are jagged, as well as it not being filled in all the way (not fading). It definitely felt very rushed. The only plus really was the interior of the shop.

Fantastic environment with very lovely people. Got a nice chest piece from Student Mat today, communicated very well loved hearing about your experiences in learning. Completely flawless from beginning to end, would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking to get a piece done! Will be back very soon for my man of steel! Much thanks again 💜

I traveled from Seattle for a tattoo with Dylan and it was time and money so well spent! Dylan is sooo talented! Check out his work on Instagram! I honestly have not seen work like his before and am soo stoked with how my memorial tattoo of my dads guitar came out! Super bold colors, amazing design and geographic print!!!!! Requested multiple times to get a cover we up done. Never heard back from anyone. Used the system they told me to use inline and still nothing. I’ll be finding a different group to use moving forward.

My wife and I have been tattooed several times at this shop by several of the artists, and we have had nothing but positive experiences. Necropolis is like a big, welcoming family and the artists there are extremely talented. I have recommended this shop to many people over the years and will continue to do so. This is a great place to get any Tattoo with a wide variety of artists, it is such a fun environment and collaborative shop. I’m happy to have chosen Dylan Eckland as my artist (see his work on Instagram @dveckland_tattoo), he was the man! This was my first tattoo & I literally sent him a picture of a tattoo I liked online, told him what imagery I wanted, boom! I showed up to Necropolis and it was virtually perfect. Even a very very small change to the art work, he did in minutes and it was better than I expected, and my brother recommended Dylan, so I had High expectations. He was able to put what’s been in my mind for 10+yrs on to my body, & there are no words for the gratitude I have for that. Now I don’t just have scares from heart surgeries...but now I have art too. Thank you, I would recommend him and the shop to absolutely anyone!

My first tattoo was done here by Dylan. He was great at explaining the process and did amazing shade work and line work on my fox tattoo. He paid extra attention to the little details and Im very very happy with how it turned out.

I have followed Mark’s growth as an artist since well before he was licensed, and always knew I wanted him to create beautiful art for me. I saw one of his original watercolor paintings that he was offering as a tattoo design for the right client, and I immediately snatched it up.My jellyfish is BEAUTIFUL. His color and line work are excellent, and his professionalism during the consultation, booking, and chair time were beyond reproach. I’ve been tattooed here twice now and loved each time. I was able to express what I wanted with mark and he completely understood and listened to what I wanted each time and I left with tattoos I love. Mark even stayed late after the shop was closed to finish my tattoo so I didn’t leave with an unfinished piece. My wife has also been tattooed here and we both agree this is without a doubt one of our favorite shops to go to.

I cant even tell you guys how great this place is. It is beautifully decorated, the staff are fun and friendly, and the work is flawless. The students do a killer job! This is easily my favorite tattoo. You can tell that they take their training seriously! I couldnt have asked for a better tattoo, thanks Jocie!

I didnt get a tattoo here and thats the trouble.Admittedly I was unsure about the style I wanted my full color mermaid tattoo in at first, maybe neo traditional, maybe realistic, but after some trial and error and direct communication Mark and I finally decided on a realistic 50s pinup style. But eventually Mark admitted that he could neither do this style nor do it within my budget.So because Mark couldn’t do this style, not because I didn’t want a mermaid, I compromised and chose a second design to accommodate Mark’s skills, a small and simple black and white typewriter. I gave him plenty of time, at least a month to prepare, during which I rarely heard from him and never got confirmation back. I contacted him several days and the day before my appointment and still didnt hear back. Confidence shaken, I decided to cancel and lose my $100 deposit.What I found most problematic here was poor communication. I was unsure about the style of my mermaid tattoo because I’m not an artist and I needed more guidance and direction from Mark. Had we discussed style more we would have figured out what I wanted sooner and then, as we discussed at one point, maybe I could have worked with another artist better suited to my project. I feel that I did a respectable amount of research beforehand as the customer and my needs were not being met by the experts.Mark is a nice guy but this entire process and miscommunication has left me discouraged to start the tattoo process all over again.

Dylan was an amazing and understanding artist with my tattoo. Talking to him really made the time and pain go away. I got my tattoo during the pandemic, and they followed all the guidelines and the shop felt very safe.

I got my tattoo done back in May in 2016 by Mark. He did such a wonderful job on my Darth Vader tattoo on my neck. I get compliments on it almost daily! I love Marks style. He’s so talented! Thanks Mark!

I didnt get a tattoo but my fiance did. Nico Parks did an amazing design draw up as well as the tattoo itself. I look forward to getting a tattoo there myself sometime in the near future. The venue has a couple artist other than Nico. I highly reccomemd checking out thier shop and or social media pages too see the different art each artist provides! They also happen to be some of the friendliest people around.

I have received 6 tattoos from the tattoo shop and have received the best customer service. Mark has completed 4 of my tattoos and I have never been disappointed with the process or the outcome of my tattoo.Mark is the only one I trust with my tattoos and will continue to have my work completed by him and the support of his shop.

Went to their site, selected an artist, filled out the artists form, ample details and photos, was told they’d be in touch within a week to discuss one way or the other… it’s been about a month now… no contact… no emails… no phone calls. nothing.finally I just said forget it and booked with another studio.

I broke down and got my first tattoo here back in 2013. I got the new OREGON state Beaver logo on my right forearm. I love it today as much as I did 5 years ago when the new logo first came out. Its time for some Orange touch up. Also time to get my new Classic Benny Beaver tattoo. I wont go anywhere else to get a tattoo. These guys are professional and they actually listen to their customers. Prices are really good too. 👍

My wife and I have been going to Gerald for 3 years or so. I take advantage of his Friday the 13th specials and my wife has had 4 major life event immoralised by our man at necropolis. They always work with us and how we want our piece to look. Gerald has seen our visions and brought them into reality. Great attention to detail and very santitary. I always through Gerald’s name around when someone is talking about getting a tattoo, their shop is very much my style.

Man I love this place. I got my latest tattoo from Mark. His work was amazing. Even had some great design improvements that really makes my tattoo stand out even more. Im definitely going back to him again.

Its really unfortunate because this didnt seem like a bad place. The people were generally kind. However they charged me 200.00 for our 3 tattoos that took about 30min total. They were tiny Roman numerals. Literally took about ten minutes each... We had asked about the hourly rate before coming in and it was nowhere near this much. What a bummer...

Very dissapointed its been 6 days and I wish I could show you my simple tattoo. The black has healed but the red is gross and since it was all taken care of the same. Well be careful cause Im in pain and going to have scars.
