A cute tattoo shop with very kind staff and talented artists !! I went in for a flash day and got this little guy from Daphne and I couldnt be happier with the result ❤️Flash days are often times when a tattoo shop can get hectic and disorganized, but Yant Studio had it handled in a very organized and comfortable way. They had sign-up sheets for each artist, digital consent forms, polite front desk staff, and a spacious lobby with a pool table, coffee bar, and art everywhere! cant wait to come back and get more work by Daphne 🫡🤠🤘

Got to work with Angela on a new dragon brushed design tattoo yesterday. She was amazing, out of all of my tattoos, she has the slightest touch for tattooing, no pain the next day, it was great. I followed with cleaning and aquaphor, looks great so far! Usually I still feel pain after a day or 2 with my other tattoos, but not with this new one. Would recommend Angela any day!It has been amazing with her, would get tattooed from her again! 🙏

I had a wonderful experience with Daphne, especially for my first tattoo, and now have the cutest custom design ever! The apprentices here are much much MUCH more than that, so highly skilled and kind.

I love my tattoo! Yanz was very professional during our consultation. He was patient with my ideas and gave me a tattoo that I will love forever! The space is beautiful and clean and I love how all the artists there have a specialty. Cant recommend Yant Studio enough! I met Tivas, Ken and Gu. Everyone was super nice and talented. GU IS AMAZING! I traveled from another state for a tattoo, and everyone treated me so well. They were all so flexible, welcoming, and I felt comfortable to communicate with them during my tattoo. I’m looking forward to going back again!

The best place to ever get a tattoo in your life. Yanz was patient and was talking to me throughout the whole session. He was funny and has a really great attitude. His line work is amazing and his dedication is off the charts. The other artists came up to me during my session, and we spoke about anime and she even showed me her EVA-02 tattoo. This place just radiates positive energy like no other. Please come to this place :)P.S. I even attached the work Yanz did so you can see how great he is.

I went to Yant to get a D&D tattoo design done of my characters on my forearm and got an infection that I’m still currently dealing with. The artist and management are not professional nor do they care about you and your concerns. I had Jio as my artist. We worked the first session in the beginning of August and it turned out well. We scheduled another session a few weeks later in September where Jio worked on coloring in more of the tattoo. I started noticing slight pain during the week and my arm was getting scaley and red. I showed it to Jio and he thought that I had a reaction to the color and to just keep doing my cleaning. Two days later a piece of my skin came off and I had open cuts on my tattoo so I went straight to the doctor. I informed Jio that I was going to the doctor and what happened. He told me I should get an over the counter product but, the way my arm was looking had me worried. The doctor said I had an infection in my arm and any later I would need surgery to remedy the infection or possibly lose my arm. After two weeks of follow up with my doctor and a specialist, I spoke to Jio about some compensation for my ordeal but he was not receptive. He was shifting the blame onto me and said the product I was using, Mad Rabbit, is not good to use and that other artists will say the same. I never had an issue using it on the first session and other tattoos I have. I even had other artists look at my arm and they say that he went too deep into my arm. Jio was shifting the blame to me, saying I didn’t believe him with no apolgy nor empathy for what I’m going through. The management at the studio were not receptive to my issues or helpful towards me. I would not recommend going to this studio if you value professional work and respect

I did a lot of research when deciding where I wanted to get my first tattoo. I chose Yant Studio and could not have been more pleased with how my first tattoo turned out. The experience itself was fantastic as well, as my artist and the rest of the people in the shop were welcoming and eased any anxiety I had. The tattoo turned out beautiful and healed perfectly. If I ever get another tattoo I will for sure be using Yant Studio!

My tattoo artist was Joseph Kang. Joseph is very understanding and cool, his art is amazing and I am extremely satisfied with my tattoo.Everything was very sterile, very precise and thoughtful. The place was very organized and the staff was friendly.

I had an awesome experience at Yant! I got a custom tattoo with Amanda and she is so sweet. I needed a couple of breaks and she was completely understanding and very attentive throughout the whole thing. The atmosphere is also very relaxing! A great place to spend a few hours getting tattooed.

I got an amazing tattoo from Angela which has quickly become one of my favorite tattoos I have. He line work and attention to detail is out of this world. Clean and mimialist shop. Absolutely love it.

I got my first tattoo here with Gu, who was absolutely AMAZING! All the steps from consultation to the moment you leave the shop with your new tattoo are seamless and energizing. The studio is so clean, well lit and organized it truly feels comfortable to be in there, even after 5 hours I didnt want to leave! I loved the welcoming staff and the expensive attention to detail that is paid before, during and after the process. So glad I got my first tattoo here and I honestly cannot wait to go back.

I drive 3 hours to get my tattoo here. Everyone is Yant studio do high level art. Ken has been doing my tattoo and can say nothing but perfection. Very happy and cant thank him enough. Tiffany at Yant Studio was amazing, cannot recommend her enough! My friend who passed away last year had a cabin that we went to every summer so I had her tattoo the cabin. I picked Tiffany because I saw she did amazing work with trees / nature and also did a fundraiser for mental health awareness. The drawing she did was exactly like the picture I sent and also included little details that really give it perspective. She had an extremely confident and calm attitude throughout the process and the fine lines are really impressive. I have also seen her do amazing work on the traditional side and with color. Excited to see her work progress and will definitely reach out to her for the next one! Thanks Tiffany!The shop was clean, everyone was super friendly and even offered some fun snacks!

Had a great experience getting my tattoo here! I requested a flash tattoo from Rachel, who did a fantastic job -- I mean just look at the detail in this photo! The whole process was quick and seamless. I felt very safe once I arrived at the studio -- its clean, hand sanitizer is readily available, and everyone who comes in gets their temperature taken. Rachel is super nice and chill and answered all my questions prior to tattooing. Youre in the best hands when you get a tattoo here -- highly recommend!

Got tattooed by Jon. He was very professional in the design and communication. My experience was great. After 2 weeks, my tattoo has been healing great. Will be coming back shortly for another one!

Everyone was very professional and they kept the space clean which is important during COVID. Everything was socially distanced and sanitized after every session. I got my tattoo from Lena and I am very happy with her work. Very professional and made me feel comfortable during the session. Normally tattoos hurt but Lena was able to make it seem painless and I loved the whole experience. I left with a new tattoo that she took a lot of care in helping me design and she made sure to give me the best tattoo possible. I love, love it so much! Thank you Lena! Will definitely be coming back for more fine-line realism tattoos! ;)

I got my first tattoo this past week at Yant Studio and it was a wonderful experience. All the staff were very friendly (esp my artist Rachel) and the studio is adorable. Great Covid precautions from start to finish which was also very comforting!Overall if youre considering booking an appointment here, I say pull the trigger because its absolutely worth it. :)

My experience with Yant Studio was super great from start to finish. I contacted artist Tiff Lai about a concept that I had and she put together a beautiful design that I just love and am so grateful to have. She was super professional and kind and I really had no worries with her working on me for the few hours we spent together. I would totally come back. The studio is clean, airy and well lit and everyone is nice. Plus theres many artists and styles to choose from. Im so happy I did my research and found this place!

I went to get my second tattoo here, located on my sternum. My artist was Lena, she was so professional, clean, focused, and attentive. This tattoo was much larger than my small one on my wrist. I was worried about the pain but Lena was able to reassure that shes will try her best to be quick but still provide the best design and she definitely did that. I will absolutely come back to Yant for another tattoo in the near future. I recommend to anyone looking for great and amazing tattoo studio.

The entire process for my tattoo was straight forward. From inquiring with the receptionist and my artist of choice (for this session it was Rachel). Going back and forth of my general idea design; coming up with a finished product. As well with scheduling and estimates being very clear. I didnt see any problems being in contact with either one of them. The studio follows up with COVID related procedures and is a very hygienic location. Definitely felt safe, relax and inviting in the space. They accept card via Square system but best to bring cash! Also appreciate that they email you a copy of the recommended aftercare steps and your receipt. Definitely will be back soon!!

Had my first tat from here and I’ve been coming to Yant Studio for 2 years now: 4 tattoos done so far~ I’m always very happy with the outcome AND the experience! The studio is so clean and aesthetically pleasing and everyone is warm and welcoming. I’ve had pieces done by Ken, Gu, and Mariko, who are all very lovely and kind people. I’ve gotten two tattoos done here, one from Kat and the other from Rachel. On top of being such amazing artist, they were extremely professional and amicable! The studio feels very welcoming from the front desk managers to the artists so it’s no wonder I’ve visited twice and will definitely do so again in the future.

My tattoo artist Gu and the studio staff was very accompanying. Although the time wasn’t as accurate because of the time it takes to detail a tattoo for the previous customer the staff and Gu came to reassure me every time. Gu toke time and patience to complete my tattoo and I am more than ecstatic to say that she made me very happy. The tattoo came out wonderful. I would highly recommend the studio and the staff and artists themselves. Perfectly clean, sanitary and takes safety precautions seriously. Thank you so much it was a nice experience!

Got my first tattoo with Kat and was the best experience I could’ve asked for.The whole studio is meticulous with their COVID protocol, actively sanitizing every surface between each client.The atmosphere was super relaxing.Kat’s attention to detail with fine line was exactly what I was looking for. I had a great experience at Yant Studio! I got my tattoo from Yanz two weeks ago and it was an easy process from initial reach out and design to getting it done in the studio. The studio is very nice and clean, they sanitize everything before you get started, and the actual tattooing was smooth sailing!Gotta give it up for Yanz, Im obsessed with my tattoo and the lines and shading are top notch. Definitely try and book with him if you want an anime tattoo! The studio also had great follow-up on aftercare and any questions I had. Ill definitely be back!

I had a great experience at Yant Studio! This was my third tattoo, but my biggest and most detailed by far. After a few months of looking for artists I stumbled across Yants instagram and decided to schedule an appointment with Gu. She was very attentive and took all of my feedback to create an amazing piece on my forearm. The studio felt very safe and clean. The studio was very responsive and I will definitely be back for another tattoo.

I had two appointments with different tattoo artists. Rachel and Kat. They were both so kind to me and I felt very welcomed. They are amazing artists and I’m so happy to have went to Yant studio. I will definitely be going again!

Jasmine was my artist and she was wonderful. It was my first tattoo so she would ask if I was okay and check in on me from time to time. I love how my tattoo turned out! Also love the very calm atmosphere here.

All around I had a fantastic experience here. The staff were very kind and understanding about any questions I had and Mariko (the artist) was super friendly and patient while we figured out the details of the tattoo - even after a mix-up about the design. I would absolutely get more work done with the artist/s at this studio in the future.

Clean, pleasant, professional and talented. I had a wonderful experience with a cover that I’ve been wanting for years. My artist was Ken and he completely covered it, not a trace of it at all and did a beautiful job with the new tat. Tivas helped with the initial details and was very responsive and super nice to deal with. The studio itself is very nice and clean. Great addition to the neighborhood.

This was my first ever time getting a tattoo and im super happy with how it turned out! i am a very naturally anxious person & i also tend to talk a lot when im anxious but Melanie was so sweet to hold such a lovely and interesting conversation with me! everything was very well done, the covid precautions are really good!! they take your temperature, are always constantly cleaning surfaces!! Melanie was really kind, professional, and above all just a really good tattooer! i will definitely come back to get another tattoo :) thanks so much!!

Honestly I had the best experience while getting my tattoos here! I ended up getting 3 in one session and Gu did an amazing job on them! Since it was late by the time we finished and I had to drive back to Philly, they made me coffee and gave me snacks so that I wouldn’t be hungry while driving! They also gave me a blanket as it got colder in the shop and if that isn’t service, then I don’t know what is! Highly recommend this shop!

I got my tattoo done by Nini. I let her have full control of the design and look of that tattoo. Just gave her an idea of the stuff I wanted. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my tattoo. Nini was so sweet and I loved her so much. She was gentle and my skin doesn’t even feel sore. Would definitely recommend coming here. All the artists are amazing and you should see their work! Also all the staff are kind too! Just... go to them!~

Scheduling: Scheduling procedure will vary by artist. I had the pleasure of getting a piece done by Rachel (@rraeink) whos in charge of her own scheduling. She was professional, communicative, and accessible. I recommend you follow the artist from whom youre interested in getting work on Instagram to stay up-to-date with when their books open.Studio: If you dont live in NYC, the Queens location is definitely a hike but still well worth it. The studio is housed on a second floor, and I dont think I saw an elevator, so if you have mobility challenges, that might be a problem. The studio was bright, minimalistic, and clean. It was also quite spacious.COVID safety: My session was in August. No guests were allowed, which I appreciate because it minimized close contact with people. Upon coming in, theres hand sani available, and youre asked to use it. Masks are kept on by clients and artists alike (except to drink water but everyone was mindful of doing that in a corner/away from others).Tattoo/artist: Actual process of discussing the tattoo design was relatively easy and efficient. The piece that Rachel designed for me was adorable and better than how I imagined it. I didnt ask for any alterations and I got it done as Rachel had designed it. (If youre new to tattoos, know that its pretty standard to not see the custom design until the day of, as artists want to protect their creative/intellectual property.) Aftercare was super easy. The studio has easy-to-follow instructions on how to take care of your tattoo while youre healing.Final thoughts: Highly recommend this studio, especially Rachel! Dont forget to tip your artist. :)

I came here with my little sister to get matching tattoos as a birthday gift from me. This was her first tattoo and I wish the experience was better. We came as a walk in on a dead day. Not one artist there was working on anyone. The place was aesthetically pleasing but the environment was not welcoming at all. We told the front desk guy what we wanted and waited and waited. Finally after a while now he goes up to a random artist and asks him if he’s ready. The artist looks confused and goes “for what?” Then there’s so whispers. The artist reluctantly comes over and never introduces himself to us not once. The whole thing was super uncomfortable. We felt like an annoyance and it was clear we were not wanted here. If it weren’t for my little sister I would have gotten up and left. I have multiple tattoos and have never experienced such a cold attitude from everyone. Overall our tattoo came out super clean so I can’t complain about the technicality BUT you want to feel comfortable when having someone tattoo something permanent on you. Our artist was ken and I only discovered his name from their IG. I really wanted to get a floral shoulder piece by Barry but opted not to after what we experienced with his co workers.

I got two tattoos on two separate occasions by artists Yant and Gu. Both artists were exceptional with their art and ability to work comfortably with their clients. Overall, a very hygienic and good experience. Absolutely worth it to get work done by very reliable and reputable artists :)!!!!

I went into the studio 3 weeks ago for a tattoo. Gu was my artist of choice just because of her precious work I had seen on the studios website and IG page and on her own IG page. Everyone in the studio was so nice and helpful from the moment I walked in. The receptionist, the other artists - they were all very welcoming. The studio is immaculate. Everything is super clean and it’s got a great vibe about it. What can I say about Gina (Gu)? Professional, helpful, sweet, funny, kind, and one hell of an artist!!! I seriously haven’t seen a place with so much talent as I did here. True artists! I can’t wait to go back and get another piece done with someone else. Truly worth the money and wait! I am so in love with my new tattoo!!

Yant Studio was clean and welcoming upon arrival. The process of communicating with the artist, setting a date, and the actual tattooing was very easy. I found my artist @tattoo.gu and the studio on instagram, and communicated through emails. My experience with Gu was very pleasant and I felt safe and comfortable with her. I would recommend this studio and this artist!

This was my first tattoo from an artist at Yant! I went to Chu, and despite some obstacles that got thrown at us, Chu went above and beyond and got me in on a day that the office was closed to personally do my tattoo. Currently in the healing process, but the tattoo looks so great. I cannot recommend the studio nor Chu herself enough and I definitely will be making my way back up :)

Left with a misspelled outline and now have to explore laser treatments. Mistakes happen, and I take responsibility for my lapse in judgement; in not triple checking myself.After several emails, a submission form and a zoom meeting explaining what I wanted (with correct spelling) I went into the appointment confident and trusting everything was in order because of how professional Yant studios conducted their business, the amazing reviews and having submitted several written examples.I wanted to get “rubis rouge” (meaning ruby red) on my thighs. When my appointment started we selected a font style and size. We spent 45 minutes on centering placement alone. Everything seemed great. My artist was polite, friendly and knowledgeable.I do take responsibility for not triple checking the spelling, however I was never asked to verify the spelling on the stencil prior to starting. I really trusted the process because of how thorough the process of getting an appointment and the detailed submission forms. We started on “rouge” first… after the outline I realized the letters were arranged incorrectly and I was given “rogue” … by definition a savage animal, or untrustworthy man… mentally I’m am now at a place of extreme disgust, discomfort and detachment from my own body. To say I feel embarrassed and ashamed is an understatement.Initially we thought of ways to change the font to correct the mishap but couldn’t not find a solution because of the original font style. Another senior artist was FaceTimed in and offered the suggestion to color the word white, let it heal and then try to cover with a skin tone on top. I am not new to tattoos, I have been going to the same artist over the past 5 years (who unfortunately moved out of state and my reasoning for going to yant studio). In what knowledge I have about the tattooing process I was not comfortable with this solution; it seemed like a panic suggestion and I felt this proposed solutions were potentially problematic and completely wrong.The artist and I both agreed the best solution was to walk away and have laser treatment. The artist was beyond apologetic, and offered me what money they could from their own pocket to receive treatment. The shop refunded me my initial deposit.This is a cautionary tail that even if everything seems like you’ve done it right, you can never be to carful.

Tiff (IG: @tifflai.tattoos) is such an incredible spirit and a caring artist. When we sat down to review the piece before the session, she was very open to notes and tweaks before officially putting ink to skin. Tiff is extremely knowledgeable in her craft and I literally cannot recommend her enough. Also, she does incredible color tattoos on darker skin and that is unfortunately not a common skill.The shop was clean, and the entire staff was warm and supportive. Also, they have a bowl of strawberry laffy taffy at reception and I cannot express enough how excited I was about that.

This was my first tattoo, and I could not have had a better experience. Im so grateful for Nini - her honesty and artists eye on my idea led us to the tattoo of my dreams. Everything about the studio - the music, the vibe, the people - everything was impeccable. THANK YOU! Highly recommend.

Kat was fantastic! Her lines are very clean, and the piece is beautiful. She was super fun to talk to, and she made sure that I was comfortable the entire time, and asked many times throughout the appointment if I needed a break. I’ll definitely be back!:)

Came across the studio’s IG and was excited to have a shop so close to me ; only to get so disappointed. Receptionist was so unwelcoming and short. Artist Ken seemed annoyed. You should make clients feel comfortable to get a tattoo done by you. Overall disgusting experience. The aesthetic of the studio is great but what’s the point if you’re going to turn away clients with a horrible attitude.

I got my first tattoo done here, the staff is very friendly and super cool. The artists have a diverse range of styles, so I think there is something for almost anyone here. They also really took care both before and after the tattooing, which I appreciated.

Words cannot describe the perfection of Kats work. I have gotten one custom tattoo from her and I’m hooked now. I am getting my next one soon, and for sure will be getting the rest with her and the other tattoo artists from Yant Studio. I have my eye on the sushi flash from Jasmin lol.

I got a tattoo from Ken. He was amazing and gave me a beautiful work of art that I will treasure always. The design I wanted needed a few improvements when I first started brainstorming on my own. Ken provided his unique artistic talent and helped design exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend him and the studio as a whole.

I think Yant is the best tattoo studio in Forest Hill and NYC. Thank you Nini for giving me a great tattoo, which will travel the world with me. Moreover, there is a very helpful employee, Miguel, who is very patient, organized and can help me arrange appointments according to a rushed schedule.

I had an appointment with rachel for my first tattoo the studio was a bit hard to find but once I got in I was greeted and taken care of. I loved my artist and everyone is super nice I was even offered snacks and drink after my tattoo 1000/10 absolutely going again and 100% recommended.

Amazing tattoo studio, a real hidden gem. Some real Asian girl power in there, I felt right at home. Gu was amazing to work with, so detailed in her work from placement of the tattoo to actual linework. Every artist in that studio has unparalleled talent. I highly recommend this location if you’re looking to get an anime tattoo! My artist for the Lelouch tattoo was Yanz and HE CRUSHED IT. Loved what he did with the eye and the blood running down his face! The detailing is as if the original illustrator tattooed the character on my arm. Can’t stop looking at it and the compliments just keep coming. Definitely coming back

Very clean, calm atmosphere, and GU is amazing! I would get more work done there in a heartbeat. The office staff is also super accommodating and responsive.
