Can’t say enough good things about Hayden!! Myself, 4 of my cousins, and all of our mothers were coming together for a ‘cousins trip’ this past weekend. My mom was diagnosed several years ago with cancer and we recently received news that her prognosis wasn’t great… I called my cousins and we coordinated a trip within 4 weeks!! My cousin reached out to the shop as we decided that all 10 of us would be getting a tattoo on the trip to commemorate our trip. Hayden responded and we were blown away by his kindness, customer service, and willingness to go above and beyond for our little motley crew!! He did all 10 of our tattoos over the course of 2 days, accommodating my mom’s appointments and energy levels. The work he did was amazing, but his willingness, love, and joy were what really made the whole experience wonderful!! I couldn’t recommend him enough!

My husband and I were traveling into the area for my grandfathers funeral and wanted to get memorial tattoos in his honor while we were there. We booked with Hayden B from Electric Art in Fox Lake and were very happy with the experience from the moment we reached out via email. Hayden took my ideas and created a meaningful piece that turned out more beautiful than I had imagined. He was very professional and respectfully personal. His sensitivity to the situation was meaningful and greatly appreciated. Walking into the studio we felt very comfortable and at ease. The atmosphere felt very welcoming and laid back. We couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of work and exceptionally well done pieces we received. We are already planning our next session, despite the almost 5 hour trip. I can’t recommend Hayden enough.

We scheduled our tattoo appt with Hayden as there was 10 of us. Sisters/cousins and our daughters. This was a special trip to come spend time together. We flew in to Chicago from NC, NY and Texas to visit our cousin from Indiana. We arrived a little early for our noon appointment and were greeted by Hayden. He help critique our design and explained the process. He was professional, compassionate and such a gentleman. He did an excellent job when doing our tattoos. He cleaned and prepped the area in between each of us. We were excited to all get the same tattoo and very pleased with the end results!!Would highly recommend Hayden! A super guy and an excellent tattoo artist. Thank you Hayden!

Electric Art Tattoos was great. Hayden was, experienced, knowledgeable, caring and helpful. We were a group of 10, mothers and daughters. Some hesitant. But after speaking with Hayden, all had a tattoo. It was a very special reason for us doing this. Hayden was patient and did awesome work. I had contacted this tattoo shop with a special request for my cousins and our mothers. I immediately received a response from Hayden. Hayden was wonderful to work with from the initial phone call till the very end. I can not say enough about his generosity and compassion for our situation. In the end Hayden himself spend his day tattooing 10 of us with matching tattoos. He was very accommodating in every way and very honest about where some of our moms, being that they are in their 70s, should and should not get the tattoo. He did an amazing job with the design.

Hayden is an absolute amazing tattoo artist he takes his time and knocks it out the park very clean and Professional, easy to work with. And also really Passionate with his work.

Keith is a very talented artist and has done great work for my wife, 2 daughters, and is working on a leg sleeve for me! Ive had luck with multiple artists at Electric Art and do recommend them for work. I do recommend walking in to consult or set up a consultation.

Go see Hayden! So many good things to say, professional, funny, talented and kind. My 2 cousins and I went to see him for matching custom chicken tattoos. He did an amazing job on all of ours. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back.

I went to Hayden for my first tattoo and he did absolutely amazing. He was very gentle and helped ease my nerves of being a first time client. He did a wonderful job taking the time to design my tattoo and helped bring my idea to life.

Catarino has been amazing to work with! Myself, along with my family and fiancé have all been super pleased with the process and outcome of his work. He really listens to what youre looking for, gives much appreciated professional advice, and truly cares about the outcome of the tattoos. All healed up and all have turned out beautifully!

All too often women are ashamed of their stretchmarks.  Not me! I find beauty, strength, and power in knowing that my body has adapted to thrive through all that I achieve in this life!  These “tiger stripes” were curated though one of my greatest accomplishments, motherhood.  I wanted nothing more than to celebrate & elevate what my body uniquely created in a complimentary way that honors my personal style.  I grew up on Lisa Frank vibes & that is where the inspo originated from in this piece of wearable art that Hayden masterfully turned into a technicolor dream come true on my body!This piece of art was in my head for literally 8+ years, I consulted with many artists who couldnt see my vision or the beauty in the abstract nature of this art. Hayden’s willingness to truly listen to me, collaborate WITH me, AND work to complement my body shape, all while ensuring that I felt absolutely seen/heard, validated, & cared for though the entire process was liken to that of a therapy session!  A therapy session that ended with the world’s best parting gift, a piece of art I am honored to wear proudly for a lifetime!  Hayden is a wonderful & skilled artist!  His transparency, honesty, & directness were so appreciated during this journey, he really advocated for me in every way to have the best experience & outcome!

Hayden took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. He came up with the most beautiful designs on all 3 of my pieces. I couldnt be happier with the work that hes done.

This was my first tatto in US, Heyden did a fantastic job on my ankle tattoo, he is absolutely a great tattoo artist, very humble and nice personality, His work is very impressive, i didnt feel much pain while getting this tattoo 😍 i recommended 100% this tattoo studio and Tattoo Artist Heyden if you looking for great and experienced tattoo artist.

Keith did my tattoos and. I couldnt be happier. Thank you Keith. He is an amazing artist. He was very patient and took his time. With both tattoos. The Korn tattoo was my first tattoo. I had wanted it for years. And glad I finally did it. I love my Korn tattoo. It looks fantastic. I recommend Electric Art Tattoos. The Nightmare before Christmas Tattoo is awesome. It took a while to finish. And the outcome was phenomenal. I have got soo many compliments on both tattoos. I am coming back and getting a third tattoo sometime soon :)

Has no value for time. Made an appointment for a consultation with Max and he blew it off. Being apologetic, decided to leave a deposit and make an appointment. Day of appointment, I came in early and was supposed to be seen at 5pm. Continued to wait and 7pm came. Although I had a design in mind, he started a Google search for something else. Not convinced decided to cancel. My friends tattoo artist had already a drawn mock up of the design, yet Max did not seem prepared. He did not want to give me back deposit although I gave ample notice of cancellation and he did absolutely nothing. Know someone who worked with Max and told me he has no respect for time. I agree first hand so stay away.

Great location with incredible artists. Keith is such a amazing artist and knows how to work with his customers. Went tonight at 630 got a tattoo from Hayden he is very good and pleasant. Will def be back to finish my 1/2 sleeve

Getting tattooed by Keith right now! Hes very friendly & easy to work with! Drew up a custom mandala for me today & it doing a great job! I highly recommend him! Shop is clean, & all the artists here are very nice! The way they communicate w each other you can really tell theyre friends! Thank you for making me feel at home! Keith did a phenomenal job on my first tattoo. He turned a bland infinity tat to a work of art with his own design & I know my wife will love it seeing our names in the design. Staff very friendly & made me feel right at home. I definitely recommend Electric Art. 👍🏻

First point i would like to make is that this review reflects my own personal experience and not the shop or artists as a whole.the shop itself is very professional and clean. the art i saw by their artists is also something i would highly highly recommend.i went in there for some small tattoos, nothing too complicated. i did ask for finger tattoos and i WAS warned they wouldnt heal like normal tattoos and i chose to get them anyway. no problem there.my problem stems from the paper i signed. it cleary states that you get one free touch up. which we both verbally confirmed before i signed.so i sign and get my tattoo. love it and everythings fine. didnt heal as well as i thought, just like i was warned. no problem there.come three weeks later i message the artist about my touch up and he doesnt respond for a few days saying he will get back to me when he has his book. me trying to be courteous, i tell him theres no rush. completely ghosted after that.he also was a little pushy about keeping my deposit and having me pay for the entirety of the tattoo so he could put my deposit towards a next one.like i said, this doesnt reflect the shop or artists as a whole, but my experience i feel was very unprofessional. sad, honestly, because i like their artists and i would have happily been a repeat customer.

This was my first time visiting this studio. I was a walk in and Cat got me right in and made me feel at home. Studio is super clean and spacious. I had a very small black outline piece done on my wrist and I love it! I will absolutely be back to see Cat again - thank you!!!

Great line work on my traditional by Hayden. He has done additional work since and it all rocks.

I messaged on facebook about a tattoo, and got a very quick response. They were happy to help me and I got tattooed by Gil, and he was such a nice, devoted tattoo artist. My best tattoo experience thus far. He did beautiful work and you could tell he loved to do that work. The entire shop experience was amazing. A great group of people laughing, listening to music, and doing what they love. Highly recommend

I called today 9/8/2017 before they opened and left a message, I thought maybe I could get in. Well @ around 12:20 Keith called and left a message. I called him back just to see if he had anything available to get my granddaughters name tattooed on my wrist and Keith was very professional and outgoing. So he said I could come in as soon as possible (which I was excited) so I got there around 1pm and was welcomed by Keith with a great smile and made me feel very comfortable (@ that time I havent informed him how I hate pain) but he talked with me, well I talked more cause I was nervous. Keith keep up your great attitude and friendly welcoming feeling. Thank you for making my experience very comfortable and now I will always have my granddaughter name on me. ::)) I will be coming back for more to you. I will be differently recommending there tattoo company. They all were very welcoming. 😆😆🖒🖒

Phenomenal experience. Nate did my tattoo and I couldnt be happier. It looks amazing, feels great, and I had a great time while there. He explained everything as we went, even though it wasnt my first tattoo. I will definitely be going back. Very impressed.

Keith is an amazing artist! He has done 5 of my tattoos now and always does an awesome job. I tell him what I want for the tattooo and he draws it up and is always creative and makes my tattoos come to life. He did an outstanding job on my grateful dead bear and my cherokee indian tattoo. Defintely will keep going to keith for all of my tattoos and will reccomend for other people to go as well.

Max is an evil genius when it comes to ink. Never late. Great work and a great guy to spend a few hours with. Hes the only person Ill ever let tattoo me from here on out. Hes even willing to fix other peoples bad work. Great shop!!

Worst service ever. I scheduled a appointment with joey spooks about 2 weeks before. The day off the appointment, as Im driving from 3 hours outside of town he tells me he has to reschedule. As Im on my way up there. & Then he posted a picture of a tattoo he did right after on Instagram right after. Complete waste of time. DO NOT GET A TATTOO FROM THEM. Completely unprofessional.

Tora is absolutely fantastic. She is 10/10 quality. She doesnt take smoke breaks every hour like most artists I am used to, she focuses and finishes as strong as she starts even with 8 hour sessions. The entire stagg is fun and welcoming and will not let you set up a consult of with an artist that doesnt feel its their style or their forte. Worth every penny, worth every minute!

Yeah my wife got a tattoo of her zodiac symbol on her wrist. The outline of that tattoo has bleed into the design and basically ruined the design. Its sad to see because it was her first tattoo and it WASNT cheap. I cant say that I could recommend these guys and I definitely am not going there for my next tattoo..... unfortunate since they are so close to home.

My artist Keith N. is a master of Japanese style artwork, the piece hes putting on my back is beautiful, will be stunning once fully colored.

The new guy nate does outstanding work, I would pass on loyalty to a tattoo shop to make sure he does my next piece and will be recommend to all I know. I wish the best for this new adventure.

Apparently, they laughed me out? Just because I dont have any tattoos yet doesnt mean I dont know what I want? This tattoo was going to be the first of many, Im well aware of the downsides. Oh well, I wanted someone confident enough to tag me up like a brick wall, anyway.
