I booked an Appointment with Jessica and prefilled info details online. She seems very nonchalant over text prior to the appointment. Came in, wasn’t acknowledged by anyone, not even the actual owner that was there. Jessica came with no introduction, nor greeting. She had no care for customer service it seems and also had no recollection of anything we discussed prior. She then proceeded to have an attitude when I told her I sent the photo of the tattoo I was getting. She states that she didn’t remember anything and “it would be too much for her to find the email that contained all the info”. The email in question was 3 days ago lol. Disgusting. I just walked out. Customer service goes a long way.5/30/29: UPDATE and RESPONSE!!! My review is a little bit too detailed for it to be false. The appointment was at 11am. The shop was just opened. You, the manager was inside wiping the floors when we came in. 2 feet away, no hello, good morning, nothing. And your response as a business owner is NASTY AND RUDE! Learn how to run a business. Instead you should speak to your employees and see how you all could make changes for a better experience getting a damn tattoo at this shop! UPDATE PART 3. 6/3/24. From your response, YOU’RE the only imbecile here lol. Like I said previously, learn how to run a business. Customer service goes a long way. PART 4. SMD brown boy !

My daughter and I had tattoos done with Jess. She was fantastic! Jess was patient, knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. She took us as soon as we arrived for our appointment. We were undecided on the design we wanted and Jess spent nearly an hour going over ideas until we found exactly what we wanted. Between the two of us we got three simple tatts, but each one was perfectly executed. The shop is super clean, has a welcoming ambiance, great playlist, and the rest of the Artist were very polite. This was my first tattoo and I don’t know if I’ll get another, but if I do, I’ll definitely go back to Lejend. Thanks Jess for making my first tattoo experience a positive one!😉

This Place is great! I had the pleasure of being tattooed by Bell Milone. She did an amazing piece on my leg and arm, both I am incredibly pleased with. She is precise, naturally artistic, and absolutely one of the most skilled artists I have ever been tattooed by. I have many tattoos and was stressed about finding an artist who would be able to provide the best work, but Bella effortlessly finessed me the best tattoo I could ever imagine and want. The shop is spotless, very clean, and the staff is super friendly. They make getting tattoos a fun and easy process for anyone. Great spot and artist!!

Extremely clean and professional! 9 tattoo artists are available to whatever style of ink you are looking for. Dave started my left sleeve (black and gray) and it came out on point!!!! Highly recommend Dave and his team for tattoos!!! They also sell art!!

After 6 tattoos by different artists, I finally found the artist I will always go to from now on! After discussing what I wanted, Bell came up with the perfect sketch and placement of the tattoo and I couldnt be more thrilled with the result. As a bonus, aside from the shop being incredibly clean, it is also beautiful, with fine artwork along the walls! Highly recommended!!!

First time at this tattoo shop and I can say it’s definitely not the last!Came to this shop for the first time to get a wrist tattoo that I’ve been wanting for a while. Eric was my artist and from even before the day of getting my tattoo, Eric had made the whole process clear and straightforward to me and answered any and every question that I had. I told him exactly what it was that I was looking for beforehand so that the day of he’d have a general idea on what it was that I wanted. On the day of getting my tattoo, Eric and I sat down where we discussed the designs and sketches that he had made in detail and from there we were able to make adjustments, changes and more to then create the design that would then be the official tattoo. He made sure the placement of it was just how I wanted it as well. He does this so his clients will be getting exactly what it is that they wanted and not something that they perhaps don’t which really shows how much care and thought he puts into the work he does for his clients. Once we got started, the whole process went smoothly. He made sure I was comfortable and that if I wasn’t or needed any breaks to just let him know. Overall, he was just a nice, funny and caring guy and the interior of the shop is just lovely and not what you’d see at a typical tattoo shop which I LOVED. I recommend him and this shop to anyone looking to get a tattoo done on Long Island!

Im 68 years old and this was going to be my first tattoo.It was going to be a tribute to my dad who passed away.Needless to say I was just a little apprehensive.I was greeted by Dave the owner who couldnt have been more professional.He listen to my concerns and introduced me to Jessica.She was absolutely the perfect choice for me.She proceeded to listen to my ideas and with her talented knowledge we collaborated and came up with a perfect tattoo.Jessica not only was a professional talented artist, she was easy to talk to and most of all she was a great listener.The overall atmosphere of this gallery was spot on comfortable professional, and most of all clean.The staff were super friendly and some of the artistry I witnessed was nothing short of amazing. Came to Lejend Art Gallery to see Lauren (@gookhwa_tattoo on instagram) for a fine line tattoo and she exceeded my expectations! She had my stencil ready to go and was drawn exactly how I described to her I wanted. She was also very patient and helped me pick my placement/size etc. Absolutely love how my tattoo came out! Best tattoo shop by far, their attention to detail and expertise on what can be done. They treat you like family from the second you walk in the door. This place is so unique! It’s like walking into an art gallery! There’s beautiful artwork on the walls, the decor throughout the place is awesome and so cool and there’s a bunch of very talented tattoo artists! I had my tattoo done by Jess and she was just the greatest. So chill and relaxed, very friendly and fun to be around, and so thorough. Time didn’t matter to her … she sat with me on the computer until I was happy. She’s very patient - I’m a very indecisive person so Jess was great. Today I went in for my very first tattoo. From the minute I stepped in their studio I was put completely at ease. Jess was my artist and she was so patient with me. She helped me design a special tattoo to honor my niece who passed away in July. I am in love with it and we laughed and joked as if we have known each other for years. The other employees were fun to be around and made a afternoon speed right by. The studio is immaculate and at no time did I feel uncomfortable. I’d like to say I’ll be back but this is probably my first and last. But if I were to get another I’d run not walk right back. Denise

I was looking to get some new work done and I was referred to this shop through a friend. At first look, you don’t know whether you’re in a tattoo shop or a gallery then realized that this wasn’t your typical tattoo shop. The studio is amazing and spotless. The artists are so awesome. I had a really great experience getting my tattoo here. The shop is incredibly clean and the decor is cool and interesting to look at. Dave Patel was my tattoo artist, as well as the owner of the shop, and he was ready for me as soon as I walked through the door. He spent the time to make sure my tattoo design was exactly what I wanted and he executed it perfectly. Not only that, but all of the tattoo artists are incredibly talented and very welcoming to all of their customers. I am so happy with the way my tattoo came out and I would 100% recommend this shop to all of my friend (which I already did). You can’t go wrong with any of the artists that work there. I was referred to Jessica because of her excellent line work and she did not disappoint! I got a small-midsize tattoo with thin lines and small detail and Jessica exceeded my expectations. Aside from the amazing tattoo which I love, I felt comfortable with her instantly. She was flexible while booking the appointment, and when I got in I didn’t feel any rush. All of her attention was on perfecting the placement and every detail of the tattoo. The shop was pristine, and she kept you informed on what she was doing (since you can’t see depending on the placement). There’s no doubt that as long as she is at Lejend Art Gallery- I will be going there for my tattoo needs.

Legend Art Gallery is a stand up tattoo shop. The artists are incredibly talented and professional. They have a variety of artists, each with a distinct style that can help get the look and aesthetic you are going for. You can tell they take great pride in their work by how pristine the studio space is. Speaking of studio space the space is amazing. Its a great place to spend an hr or so getting ink. The prices are very fair, you get what you paid for. My wife and a few of our friends have been coming here for years and the work as always been impeccable. Ill be coming back to finish off my full sleeve.

I was so happy to find Lejend ! For years I had been wanting to add to a very meaningful piece but wasn’t finding the right person for the task. After meeting with Dave, I knew we were on the same page. He helped my vision come to life and guided me with his professionalism and artistry. I sat in this studio for two separate sessions each hours long. I felt comfortable, safe and respected. My tattoo came out better than I have even envisioned, I LOVE IT. The shop is clean and beautifully decorated with paintings done by the artists that work there. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating, I sat for my neck tattoo with Dave for about seven hours, he was very attentive to making sure I was comfortable throughout the process and the end result was absolutely beautiful. Overall, it was a ten out of ten experience and I now have a gorgeous tattoo that I consistently get compliments on wherever I go. Dave did my first tattoo. My sister and I wanted something special in memory of our dad and with Dave’s expert guidance we chose a simple but beautiful design. It was a pain-free experience which was needed for both of our first tattoos. Lejend is not at all what you would expect for a tattoo place. It’s definitely more of an art gallery. I enjoyed looking at the art pieces he has hanging on the walls as I waited for the design to be complete. I highly recommend Dave and Lejend!

Dave is not only the most accommodating tattoo artists but he is one of the most talented and detailed artist I have ever met. I recently completed my half sleeve with him (less than 24 hours ago- thats how amazing he is) and he took his time to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted.He is extremely creative and his artwork is impeccable. I highly recommend at least going in for a consultation because I promise you’ll walk out with a dope art on your body.Lejend is not your ordinary tattoo parlor, its full or art, extremely clean, and made me feel like I was at home. I walked in with an idea of what I wanted and he made it come to life. I’ve already done three sessions with him and I’m booked for three more later this year. Best tattoo experience ever!

This tattoo shop is really great! The place is nice and super clean. The vibe in the shop is very different, its more welcoming and comfortable compared to a typical tattoo shop. They have new equipments and everyone is making sure that you are comfortable.They also provides you everything you need to make sure you get the best experience on getting a tattoo. Lastly, the quality of tattoo Dave provides is exceptional. I will still need to go back for more.

Legend Art Gallery provided a professional and welcoming experience throughout the whole process of getting my tattoo, which began with a very quick response from my email inquiry on their website which lead to walking into the studio on a busy Saturday afternoon and the staff taking time to discuss my tattoo ideas in order to pair me with an artist. My tattoo was done by Lucci who is an amazing artist. Prior to my appointment we communicated about my tattoo ideas and then on the day of my appointment we worked together on the tattoo design until it was precise - Lucci has all of the talent, so working together with him to bring my tattoo ideas to an art form was awesome! Also, all of the staff are very nice, friendly, and checking in with you throughout the time you are in the studio. The environment is clean and sterile. I look forward to going for my next tattoo at Legend Art Gallery!

If you want an amazing tattoo this is where you go. Dave did my tattoo for me in grey and black realism and it looks exactly like the picture. Not only are all of these artists extremely talented, they are all super funny cool people. They make you feel welcomed immediately and you can genuinely trust them to do great job. Dave did a great job of making sure I was comfortable and good the whole time. If you’re looking for talent, a clean environment and a welcoming space to get tattooed in, this is it. (Ps; they have super comfortable pillows if tattoos weren’t painful I could’ve taken a nap)

The artist I went to was johan. Absolutely loved his work he was very accommodating. Loved his work so much so that I booked him for another tattoo and made $100 deposit. 6months later comes time for my tattoo and there was a mix up with dates on his end …no problem. He told me he would contact me regarding a new date to get the tattoo done. Never heard from him again. I’ve reached out to him at least 5-7 times since then to reschedule and he’s completely ghosted me. I know he’s busy but at the end of the day I paid a deposit and would of preferred to get an appointment another 6 months later versus just being ignored for no reason.

Would definitely get another piece done here again and will refer my friends. Dave was very accommodating to what i had invisioned for my piece. He was very responsive to all my questions and concerns prior to my appointment. During my appointment he was very patient and did a great job. The other artists were very friendly and welcoming as well! The art gallery is an amazing enviorment to get your work done in. The studio is very clean and the atrist do a great job of making you feel comfortable. I would recommend this place a hundred times over.

Only had 1 tattoo experience before finding Legend Art Gallery, and stopped in with an idea I had in mind for a scar cover up, based on previous reviews. Completely different experience here - the place is really unique, has a great vibe and everyone is friendly and respectful. Met with Eric Luciano on day 1 and never looked back. The previous place I went to would’ve just gone to work with what I came in with - not Luciano! He took the time to collaborate with me until we came up with something that really worked with the tattoo I already had. Two weeks later, he had some ideas on how to develop it further, and just today we finished it up with some final work. It took 2 hours to finish the design before I was in the chair because of the care Luciano had to get it just right. Really happy with the finished product and can’t say enough about the whole experience - Luciano is THE MAN! You CAN’T go wrong by going here - you really get what you pay for. Already thinking about the next one…

I have 4 tattoos and 2 of them are by Dave. I can feel and see the difference in the art work, detail and pain from Dave and the other artists. The entire process from the conception of the art to the actual tattooing is done in a professional, safe and caring manner.Out of the many things i can say about Dave, his greatest strength is his attention to detail. My sister and I went to get tattoos there and never felt more at home! Especially when we were entertained with a movie played on their tv. The atmosphere is serene and fun and makes you feel like you’ve known all the tattoo artists forever! They are extremely professional and talented beyond compare! Lejend Art Gallery is a different kind of experience! This is a tattoo shop AND an art gallery. First off, the decor is to die for! Definitely not your typical tattoo shop. It’s super clean, organized and bright! The pictures hanging up are for sale and are all done by the artists’ there. Johan, Dave, Lucci and Jessica were the best! They were all so attentive and nice. I’ve been working with Dave for roughly 6 years now and to say his work is incredible is an understatement. I put full faith into what he designs and he never gives less than 110%. Aside from that, the shop is not like your typical dark, cold, dirty hole in the wall where you have to wait hours for any service. Instead the environment is filled with laughter, wholesomeness and service like you’d never anticipate. The walls decorated in beautiful art (not flash art) and plants cover every corner of the studio. You almost feel like you’re visiting an old friend. No other shop compares or will deliver as Lejend does.

Had my tattoo done with Lucci, beyond professional. Took his time to help me pick the perfect tattoo, talked me through the whole process, his work is extremely clean, and it didnt hurt at all for a wrist tattoo. Was amazing when taking requests during the tattooing. And all the other artists make you feel so comfortable, for a first time they made me feel like I have been coming there for years . Very clean and professional place. Worth the money and time .

Absolutely Amazing! I walked in one day and this place has a different vibe than other tattoo shops Ive had work done at. I met the owner and the other artists, everyone was laid back and professional. Luciano worked with me to put together a piece for my forearm. He listened to exactly what I was looking for and not once got annoyed with me for making changes or asking questions. He encouraged me to reach out and just bounce ideas back and forth. So I’ve been looking for a Great tattoo artist for such a long time now and was lucky enough to learn about Johan at Lejend Art Gallery through a really Good Friend of mine. I had a dogs head and a faded full moon tattooed on my right arm for years that I couldn’t wait to cover up. Johan sat with me and went over the full idea of what I wanted, making sure that I would love it once finished. His Work speaks for itself and is guaranteed to amaze you. After only two sessions he completed exactly what I had asked for. About three weeks later my first tattoo that was covered up started seeping through his work due to it being a dark tattoo originally. With no hesitation Johan fit me in for a third session just to fix it. He not only perfected my tattoo but when he was finished with the fix up I asked him how much I owed him for the time spent. Let me just start by saying that im in no way bashing this business, just simply stating the quality of work. Johan has been my tattoo guy for some time, i had him do a couple of pieces for me. I liked the pieces i got but within time everything kind of just became one shade and didn’t exactly like how it came out after. My most recent piece he did was a guardian angel, now this was the piece that just took a turn. At first i liked it but after looking at it closely after the swelling went down, ive realized that the face was just sad and fat. Last time i went to him he did a coverup rose for me about 2 years ago and he seemed positive to absolutely cover it up. Im currently in the process of finishing the coverup. My tattoo person now, she has completely fixed everything that i didnt like. The roses look a whole lot better and the angel is EXACTLY how i imagined it to be and i am absolutely so glad she was able to fix it. The tattoo on the left is johans work and the tattoo on the right is my tattoo artist’s now work.

My first time at this studio working with an artist that I’ve been tatted by before, Lucci. The studio is so clean and comfortable, smells amazing, too. Lucci is extremely gentle with his work but I was kept distracted from the work being done on my hand by some Netflix on their tv and of course all the amazing artwork hanging on the walls. Lucci has always been so patient with me and my weird ideas. He’s fun to work with and such a great collaborator. You can’t beat a business full of talented artists that are also just good people.

Talent is talent. There’s little negotiating when it comes to quality, creativity and genuine art. I gave (am giving) Dave a run for his money since I came to him asking to figure out how to fix not such great ‘work’ (for lack of a better word) I had done recently ~ the better half of an entire sleeve. His patience and honesty is priceless and knowing that he takes pride in his work is very comforting. Thus far, he is the only artist who has not just slapped any ol’ idea on me because I asked for it...he sincerely takes a ton of time, maps the images on the requested body part with the computer and starts to make sense of your vision with his artistic touch. Totally worth the hour + drive one-way, busy schedules and the patience over multiple sessions to get it exactly right.Don’t bother shopping around ~ there is little competition if any. I’ve been Eyeing Luciano’s (Lucci inks) tattoo/artwork for quite some time. What grabbed me was his line work, I’ve never seen tattoos/art so perfect. It took me forever to figure out what i wanted him to do on me. I finally looked through his flash tattoos that were up for grabs, i finally laid my eyes on this line work of a woman’s bust with a bed of flowers for hair, almost pop art-esque. I finally wrote lucci on Instagram and quickly set an appointment moments after . He reassured me his hands are light and steady& that is fall asleep.. mind you he is giving a pep talk to someone who already has over a dozen tattoos lol 😂& freaks out every-time . I felt comfortable, everyone in the shop was welcoming especially lucci. I tagged along with a good friend of mine who also felt as if she was just as important as the person (me) getting tattooed . He made me feel calm and comfortable, i surely did fall asleep quite a few times. 2 hours later, my beautiful and perfect new art piece on my arm was done.
