HIGHLY recommend True Blue tattoo. Chris started off the appointment by showing me past recent work, discussing placement/style, and pricing, then of course showed me the design and stenciled it out on my forearm ensuring I was pleased with it. Made me feel comfortable by offering to put Netflix on rather than listening to music. Super personable and made great conversation. This is my 4th tattoo from True Blue and I always leave feeling like I’m on cloud 9. This is my 1st tattoo by Chris and it 100% exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be returning soon! Thank you.

Killy is the bomb! He has done/working on all 7 of my tattoos and I’m extremely happy with each one. I always have a good time when I’m in there, good convos and good vibes all around. Just got my nipples pierced and they used curved bars (eyebrow rings) to pierce them. Kinda pissed that $83 was spent for them to use the wrong kind of rings. Like I feel like this being what you do for a living would mean that you know the proper jewelry to use. I asked my friend if she knew what I could do and she said they did the exact same thing to her and she had to get them redone by someone else because of how oddly they healed. She said get straight rings put in at a different shop so the holes dont heal around the curves rings. So now I get to go through more pain when if they had done it properly the first time ..... well, it would have been done right the first time

Killy did my tattoo on Wednesday and he did an amazing job. It was my first one and I was a little nervous. He talked to me a lot asked me how I was doing and just general conversation to keep me feeling comfortable. I will definitely go back in the future if I decide to get another. He also fixed my nose ring and was very gentle.

Went in to get a tattoo on my forearm. After a conversation with Chris he knew exactly what I wanted. Gave him creative freedom. A couple appointments later I ended up with an absolutely amazing biomechanical sleeve. True Blue will be the only place I get tattooed from now on.

I really enjoyed working with Chris to make my tattoo. I had an idea in mind and he was very honest, polite and kept it straight with me. He made what I was imaging better than I imagined. I am very impressed and grateful for his fun personality, open-mindedness and completely met my expectations. Beyond impressed!

I got my first tattoo from True Blue in September by Chris, and it turned out great, exactly how I wanted. My friend and I then made a joint appointment this February. We were asked to send a reference photo two weeks in advance of the appointment, which we did. We got an email back from Chris in which he let us know he received our references and expressed no concerns. Upon arriving, Chris asked us what we were there for and we told him we had an appointment. He responded by telling us that we had not sent him any references. We then showed him the email in which we did and he said that he must have deleted it. As I began to show him the pictures I had, both designs I had drawn, he immediately became very defensive and irritated and explained that the simplistic, black outline tattoos I had requested were an embarrassment to his name and that if I had looked at his portfolio I would understand that my request was not to the level of his work. I told him that this was the design I wanted, and he responded by saying that he could do it if he could draw it in a way he felt was up to his standards, as to not tarnish his name and reputation, which he was very adamant about. He suggested that I would have regrets and receive criticism for the tattoo, should I continue with my original design. The conversation came across as very condescending and aggressive and made both my friend and I very uncomfortable and caused us to question our decision to go forward with the appointment. Had he explained to me in a more calm and professional manner that he simply needed to clean up the lines of my design I would have been more open to working with him. This seemed to be a manageable issue with a very simple solution, however the way it was addressed was incredibly out of proportion. As he went into the back to begin drawing, my friend and I decided that we were not comfortable continuing the appointment based on Chriss unprofessional and hostile attitude. A moment later the owner approached us and asked if he could help resolve the issue. He seemed to see that we were uncomfortable and asked to see the design and see if there was anything he could to continue the appointment. We politely refused and left the establishment. Having been to True Blue once before I was confident that my friend and I were in a safe and professional studio, unfortunately this was not the case, and we left very disappointed. I definitely will not be back and would not recommend.

Chris did an amazing job on my SILs tattoo. His art itself was amazing, and he really heard and worked with her to make sure it was both what she wanted, and utilized his abilities to the highest level. He was upfront about expectations when it came to having a guest in while the tattoo was being done and made the whole experience 100x easier.

I got my first tattoo today. And I love it very much. It is truly an amazing piece of art. Chris did my tattoo and he was amazing. The tattoo and his personality is awesome.

Got my first big tattoo from Killy the year I turned 18. It’s one of my favorite pieces I have and I still get tons of compliments on it! 5 years later and it still looks vibrant and smooth. This year I was able to get a half sleeve and the work is just as good as the first piece. I recommend the shop and him every chance i get/any time anyone asks whose done my work. Killy is amazing at what he does, I’ve gotten 5 tattoos from him and every one is super clean and precise. I receive nothing but compliments from people that see my half sleeve about the line and color work, and they always ask who did it, I recommend him on the daily. You can tell he really cares about his work and his employees, his apprentice Tyler did one of my pieces (one of his first) and Killy made sure he was 100% ready before he started, and gave him tips throughout. Customer service is fantastic and the pricing is out of this world for the quality of work. 5/5 stars for every aspect

Killy is the only artist I go to and I recommend him to everyone. I’ve brought several friends and family members here to be tattooed and pierced. Even after moving over 2,000 miles away, I still visit him to add on to my sleeve whenever I come home. It is a very clean and fun environment and I always enjoy spending my time here. His lines are very smoothly done and I especially love the shading he does. True Blue has always been my go to for tattoos and piercings. The shop is very clean and professional and Killy does a phenomenal job. Despite being busy over the recent holidays, Killy squeezed a friend and I in for tattoos on short notice. The art work came out great and so did the tattoos! Just another reason why I love True Blue.

I wanted one of my gifts for my granddaughters 5th birthday to be to get her ears pierced. My daughter had read that needle piercings cause less trauma to the ear & are more controlled for a straighter piercing. We brought her in &, though the piercer was kind & patient, I left unhappy with the fact that #1 we had not been told ahead of time when scheduling that there would be no icing or numbing of the ears of any sort before the piercing whereas, if we had, we could/would have gotten & used numbing cream on them ourselves before coming in & #2 after I specifically stated to please ensure that they are even because I know what its like to go through life with uneven ear piercings, one ear was marked much closer to the face than the other (seemed to each be dotted randomly, with no use of any guide or checking for evenness) which I had him redo & move it outward but yet it still got pierced closer to her face than the other side; & one would think you shouldnt even have to state such an obvious thing as to make sure theyre evenly placed because common sense would dictate that, but especially in an establishment such as this where you would expect more skilled people & professional results than the mall kiosk, & not expect to have to be on top of the guy every step of the way to supervise & ensure that hes doing the job of something thats permanent on someones body properly. So, after all my little granddaughter endured to tough it out for the ear piercings (one of which had to be done twice, because the needle went through too far to lead the earring through the first time & despite the digging around while shes bleeding he couldnt get the earring in) she didnt even walk away with a good job of them being evenly placed; which will bother me to no end, & likely her throughout life.

My family and I have been regulars at this shop for going on 4 years and it is my absolute favorite for many reason. They’re the cleanest shop I’ve ever seen, they’re friendly and professional, and their art is amazing. Tyler recently did a little knife flash design on me for a walk-in as well as a couple other flash designs for my mom, sister and girlfriend and they all came out amazing. I’ve known him since he was an apprentice and he’s seriously talented! I can’t wait to get more work done by him, I already have a list going.

Where do I begin. Ive had tattoos done by 7 different artist and I have to say Ive now seen the light. My experience changed my whole perspective on getting ink. The shop was really nice, clean and professional. He has the best equipment and atmosphere. Because of his experience and the quality of equipment the experience was 10x less painful and 24 hours later I dont have any redness, scabbing or swelling. Killy is a really nice guy who is the whole package. I wish he was located near where I live in NC. If you live in WNY it would be worth a 3 hour drive to his shop. Honestly, I would never go anywhere else for a tattoo or piercing. Killy is super talented and can create anything that you desire. I admire the professionalism in the shop by both Killy and Tyler. The shop is so clean a surgeon could perform surgery there. They take pride in their work and carry on the long held traditions of tattooing. As a side note, I would like to say that I really enjoy visiting with them as much as getting the tattoo.

Ears should always be done by a licensed professional at a tattoo parlor with a needle NOT a gun thing in the center of a mall. Proud returning customer!!

The only place I go for my tattoos and piercings. My sister first introduced me to Killy for piercings and I have been going to him ever since. He did my first tattoo and made it a great experience and that’s why I keep going back and recommend him to all my friends.

I started getting tattoos at True Blue when I turned 18. Over 7 years later Ive never gone anywhere else. I never will. Killy and Tyler do some amazing, clean work. The shop is so well taken care of that you could eat off the floor(if youre into that sort of thing). If you want a good tattoo, you go to True Blue in Fredonia.

I got my second tattoo done by Chris and it my uncles name and a rose above it. The rose was beautiful and had amazing color variety and flowed seamlessly. He made sure everything was perfect. Although a bit crude he’s hilarious and if I’m ever in Fredonia again, he’ll be my go to.

The shop is always very clean and everyone is professional. Killy is great at what he does and Ive never left unhappy with any of the work he has done. Ill definitely be back for all my future tattoos.

I was tattooed by Chris and it was the single worst experience I have ever had. He was extremely rude and very set in his ways. Would next to refuse the tattoo that I had wanted to get and i had to keep saying that I wanted it to get what I wanted. He is the most disrespectful person I have encountered. He made me feel unsafe and insecure. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy.

I went and got my eyebrow done today staff was friendly and professional. the piercer was gentle and quick. great pricing! clean envirement too. also got my nose done a couple years ago. worth the 40 minute drive for sure. Ill be back for any future piercings for sure

I really like Killy. He was very professional, and that is the reason I keep going back for my piercings. However, whoever works the front desk had the worst costumer service I’ve ever experienced. He was rude to me, and my mom on multiple occasions and I will not be going back here for that reason.

Went for a tattoo for the first time as a walk in and Chris drew up exactly what I was looking for in memory of my sister. He was super professional and talked to me the whole time making sure I was okay. We are going to be working on my next tattoo soon!

Amazing! Got my lip pierced and my Jestrum pierced here, very clean and professional. My jesteum was one he had never done before, showed him a few pictures and bamb he did it perfectly (and gave me a great deal) Killy walks you through everything before he does it, had my choice in jewelry and I’m going back for my septum this week!

I’ve gotten 2 tattoos done by Chris and they’re great I plan on getting more done by him soon. He’s extremely chill and knows his stuff since he’s been tattooing for 20+ years I highly recommend him.

They SPELLED my TATTOO wrong! I wanted the words spread your wings and received spred you wings on my foot!!! THEY WOULDNT EVEN REFUND MY MONEY! They did cover it free of charge but did not get what I wanted and was still forced to pay for it. Also they were very insensitive to how upset I was. I wouldnt recommend this place to my enemy!
