Independent Ink Tattoo

Jamie did an amazing job, my first time getting a tattoo here. This was my number 10. She hand drew everything except the 2 main roses. Very friendly atmosphere. It was a little pricier than what Im used to, at $150 an hour. I did a $100 deposit, and this took 2 hours to complete. The deposit can be paid by cash or card, but they want the remaining balance paid with cash only. The only downfall is the amount of time I spent there in total. Me and a friend each got a tattoo that day, his taking an hour and a half. Our appointment was at 1:30 and we didnt get done and out of there until well after 7. Just seemed like a lot of unnecessary distractions going on. But other than that, it was a great experience.

To start, staff are extremely friendly and understanding. I have a double nose piercing done by Adam at Tattoo Nouveau and he was kind enough to help fix an issue I caused when trying to switch the jewelry while he was at Independent Ink for the day. He even let me ask my questions and laughed at my nervous jokes during the process, so I truly appreciate their time today. Definitely suggest him as he is also one of, if not THE best piercer in the area. (: You wont regret it!

I booked with Alexis when I decided to get this one. They got back to me fairly quickly and I got right in. I am really happy with her work and I will be booking w her in the future if possible. She is very laid back and takes her time, its worth it ⭐

She did an amazing job on my birthday tattoo! Im excited to go back in June to get it finished and my husband is going to have one of her original pieces done. I highly recommend both artists for anyone wanting work done.

Absolutely Terrible Place! I came in as a walk in because they had cancellations during the day. I had sent my designs before I drove 40 minutes to the parlor. When I arrived they had drawn out the tattoo incorrectly. I gave them the exact template I wanted for this tattoo. It is a quote above my knee, I gave them the correct font and sizing I was looking for. Instead of the woman running it through the thermal copying machine, she traced it onto tracing paper and tattooed it like that. I let the tattoo fully heal before becoming too judgmental just in case it turned out better after it was healed. I am covered in tattoos, I know sometimes they look a little strange when theyre healing. The words are different sizes, not straight AT ALL, and the lines are extremely poor. This isnt even the worst part! I call to get a touch up set up because I really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, and they told me no. I then said I would have to go to a different artist to get it fixed if they wouldnt and I was hung up on. I disputed the transaction through my bank, but since I signed the receipt, I lost the dispute. I contacted them again telling them I need refund to get it fixed and I was left on read on Facebook. The three other artists I talked to after this happened told me that fixing it would be incredibly difficult because of how messy she made each letter. The customer service was awful, a thirty minute tattoo will cost you $270 plus whatever you decide to tip, and the quality of their tattoos is less than ideal. Save your money and go elsewhere, itll save you a lot of heartbreak and a lot of money.

Staff are very nice and helpful! Very clean and professional. Alexis was wonderful and open for suggestions and changes. Seating was comfortable during my ink session. Prices are reasonable.

I had an excellent time! Adam did my piercings and we talked all the through the procedure. The shop is beautiful with beautiful pics of tattoos decorating the walls. Exceptionally clean...awesome shop!!!

Jamie is second to none! My hour and a half drive one way to the shop is a testament to that. Love the atmosphere and artists. Highly recommended!

I am editing this because I was really happy with the work but after it healed I saw the flaws the lines werent clean cut and it was definitely over priced needless to say I didnt go back my friend went here after I did and had some same issues and also her tattoo artist never showed up for her second appointment so she never went back either the original post was from 2 years ago just thought I should update my review since I was unhappy after it healed

Daith piercing on both ears...intense! Adam was great and honest about the discomfort I was about to experience. Everything was very clean and sanitary. If I need another piercing I will be back for sure.

Been going here since the nineties. Independent Ink will always have my business. My 6 year old daughter got her ears pierced. Adam was very precise and they looked perfect and she loves the ear rings.

I got my first tattoo today done by Jasilynn. I was super nervous and because of that, I got very dizzy. It didnt help that I got it in a sensitive part of my arm lol. I asked her to give me a small break and she sat there and talked to me about hedgehogs, which is what my tattoo was. She then got me a drink and we proceeded once I felt better. The rest of my tattoo was a breeze. I would 100% recommend coming to this shop, and would even more recommend having your tattoo done by Jasilynn! I will definitely be coming back!

Amazing! Have had over two dozen sittings, so I have alot of tattoos. All are from this shop! I am pale so I get my color thru tattoos and I am colorful😁 I would give them more stars if it was possible. My daughter has many piercings and would go anywhere but Independent Ink.

I want to say that this place was not my first choice based off of the pictures of their tattoos on their Facebook page!The gentleman that I spoke to seemed nice but the woman at the desk was very unsociable and almost no eye contact, plus the place was very over priced!I got the same tattoo priced at many different places, and for a tattoo that should have cost $200-$250 was priced here at $350-$400!I was very disappointed!

We took my 7 yr old granddaughter there to get her ears pierced the right way. Although she was determined to have it done, you wouldn’t have known it the second she sat down in the chair. I can’t thank the young man enough for his patience during this hour long ordeal of her fearful thoughts and bouts of panic! Needless to say, once he got the needle through the first ear, she laughed.....her fear subsided and she is a happy happy camper today!!

I went with my mother and sister a few months back to get my second hole in my lobe pierced and my mother and sister got their noise’s pierced. It was a very pleasant experience. Will never go anywhere else.

I came here for a piercing and Adam is very good at what he does and is extremely thorough. I will always get my piercings done by him!

Adam does great piercing work. Will does phenomenal tattooing artistry. I will not go anywhere else for my body work/art.
