Future Tattoo & Body Piercing

I dont understand how or why this place is rated so highly. I have to assume they have friends &/or family manipulating the ratings. First off, they arent very friendly. They have this one big white dude who has no bedside manner at all & got an attitude when asked about how long he had been working there. This expert, with all his 19 years of expertise, proceeded to shake & sweat all over my piercings, which caused profuse bleeding. He gave me multiple lopsided piercings & charged me double the price quoted for saline solution. The wait time is absolutely absurd for how empty their lobby is. I only went to this place out of what I thought was convenience only to be inconvenienced. I would much rather get pierced by an apprentice than these jokers. They care more about the money they can make off of you more than anything else. Please take your business elsewhere

Got my first pacemaker tattoo! Great shop, great prices, and friendly staff. Alex was awesome! Would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for a tattoo or piercing.

I was debating on even reviewing this for my own peice of mind because Chris the piercer obviously has a lot of anger and resentment he needs to work thru that has nothing to do with the clients. I have gotten multiple tattoos done there; one by Alex and a guy there who I don’t remember his name. And I used to get all my face pierceings done by Chris. They all went smoothly for the most part and I’d always tip him good because they r providing a service I need. By the other reviews I’ve seen I can tell I’m not the only one that thinks Chris can work on his soft skills. After posting about them on my instagram I thought it was enough to keep my mutuals in Orange County AWAY FROM THIS SHOP. But I think EVERYONE needs to steer clear from it. The girl that had pierced me there was really nice but she incorrectly pierced my Ashely piercing that led to a week of unnecessary pain and swelling, so I made a post warning people about the shop and their mistake. The shop reaching out and offered to re pierce it. so I went in and messaged them back letting them know I wanted to get my belly piercing checked aswell since I had gotten it done the same day and it looks like it is not properly healing. I went in today after getting it done a few weeks ago. From the moment I walked in I tried to explain everything and he immediately looked for any reason to make me feel like their mistake was some how my fault. I tried to explain why I was concerned about my belly piercing but he cut me off and then interrogated me about how I was cleaning it and when I finally failed his quiz on how I should clean it he cut me off mid way through me talking and sighed saying I was cleaning it incorrectly when he had yet to even look at it. He then stopped listening to anything I had to say and gave me a paper while telling me about how I am doing things incorrectly. I dropped my concern because he didn’t seem at all interested in listening to me, and only seemed concerned in making me feel small and making himself feel superior. I say this because most people have delt with a narcissistic person at one point. It’s very hard to describe how they treat you UNTILL you experience it. Imagine that situation with this piercer. The entire time of me getting the piercing re done he did anything and everything he could to make me feel stupid and like an inconvenience to him when THEIR SHOP PIERCED ME INCORRECTLY. Chris has always been overall rude to me and anyone that sets foot in the shop but I never cared because I got the piercings I wanted so whatever, his behavioral issues were not my concern. Having said all that it’s very difficult to describe unless you meet him yourself. Finally, I get it I go to the swapmeet to get my tattoos done by people that couldn’t care if I go in or not. Most tattoo and body piercing shops are unprofessional in Orange County that’s just what it is, i don’t care as long and i get whatever I want done. BUT this piercer should not be allowed to do what he does simply because he cannot control his own emotions enough to stick people with needles. I recorded some of the conversations but I’m going to let this issue die with this review. DO NOT LET YOURSELF GET PIERCED HERE. There’s a really good shop that I went to after that helped me change the jewelry and was really chill on Orangethorpe😎

Cash only. They have an ATM there . Great prices. Better and clear instructions on aftercare compared to others in the area (i used to go to engineer ink). Chris is so patient. The stone in my jewelry fell off and he replaced it for free. Unfortunately I do have a bump but its nothing do with the piercer. I always get one 🥴

Idk if we are all talking about the same Chris but in these reviews they describe him as calm, communicative, nice, fantastic etc. This was definitely not my experience. I walked in with my friend and years ago I was pierced here but by a lady. No one greeted us once we got there and we stood there for what was 10-15 mins. Chris sees us from the room standing at the front desk and just looks at us and ignores us. Not a hi guys he right there in a sec or any type of acknowledgment. No one in the shop even acknowledged us. As soon as we were inside the room my friend is just trying to make chat and hes just ignoring us the whole time. The customer service was terrible. I had high hopes and was IMMEDIATELY disappointed. Go somewhere else.I would definitely not be going back here for any type of piercings. Maybe all these people know this man but this definitely was not the interaction or same man we dealt with. I would give less that one star if I could. I also hate the position of my piercing he didnt ask me how I felt about it or consult me in any way now I have a piercing I hate in my ear

I called in after dealing with awful service and the wrong jewelery for my piercing from Trigger Happy in La Habra and Chris answered my questions and was available to help me same day for significantly less then trigger happy was asking.I came in and he had a super clean and professional space with so many jewelery options to pick from. I brought my own jewelry in so he put them in within ten minutes I was out the door. I appreciate someone who takes his job seriously especially when it comes to putting jewelry in my body. Future tattoo is officially my go to and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a piercing or jewelry put in. Dont think twice just go in and have fun with your new drip ‍❤️‍🔥

Did not get pierced here, but I went in for an issue I had with a pre-existing ear cartilage piercing. The person on the phone was so helpful and told me to come in whenever I was ready. Going in made it more clear the staff there cared about my health and piercing and did not try to talk me into any products or services I did not need. Considering how rude other places when addressing piercings done at other places, I really appreciated that this place was nice and just wanted to help.I put four stars as I wish I knew it was cash only before arriving and walking in, but everything else was perfect.

Chris did an excellent job with my piercings. He ensured the piercings were where I wanted them to be before beginning and his manner was gentle and professional. Place was spotless and everything was completely sterile. Im beyond satisfied with my experience and will return if I decide to get further piercings!

If I could give 0 I would. Got a nose piercing and really bad bump scar and keloid, I asked if I could come in and she would take a look at it or give me any more tips and she left me on read!! Was so ignorant and really she should’ve atleast replied to me, I wasn’t asking for much. And they were so overpriced , in this day and age cash only . Probs not even gonna report their money .

My friend & I walked in yesterday and got our nipples pierced. Not sure of her name, but our piercer was awesome! I had my nipples pierced before like 15 years ago, and they had closed up. My 1st experience the piercer used clamps to do them. That hurt worse than the actual piercing did. The girl at Future did them freehand & it was so much better. Took probably less than 10 mins. She was professional & had a gentle hand. I love how they turned out. She was very thorough with after care info & how long the healing process would be and when we could change jewelry. I definitely recommend Future for your piercing needs. And to top it off, they charged much less than other shops I called. ***CASH ONLY***

First off, dont forget to bring cash! The staff was very knowledgeable. I got my earlobes pierced. During and after the process, Chris made sure that I knew how to take care of my piercing. The facility was very clean and professional. Chris made me feel super comfortable and was an absolute pro! They also sell aftercare in case you dont have anything. I dont know if I will get another piercing, but if I do then I will absolutely come back here. Anyone wanting a piercing should come here!

After the shop i usually go to wouldn’t answer their phone i went to future on my sister’s recommendation and LOVED it. the place has a great vibe, chris is a great piercer, and the prices are really decent! i had a wonderful experience, and will be back for any future piercings! it’s also cash only, but they have an ATM inside so it’s super convenient!

I moved out of state. Bottom line I cant find art work thats comparable. So I shall be vacationing to get more art. Theyre legitimately excited by ideas, and i look forward to challenging their artistic appetite.

WOW! this place is amazing. i came with my mom today to get my third lobe piercing & my helix on my right ear. it was quick, easy, and chris is super professional! he told me exactly everything he would do, gave thorough instruction for aftercare, and on top of all that was EXTREMELY cleanly. also, the prices are great compared to other piercers ive been to in the past. definitely will be coming here again for any piercings needed!!!

This place is amazing!! Very affordable, clean, and everyone is super nice!! Chris is amazing! I have been going to him for all my piercings since 2012! He did my Rook, Industrial bar, 3 helix piercings, both tragus’, septum and belly button. He is the best, and very informative! Many of my friends have also come here for their tattoos, and piercings. And they have all had very positive experiences! You won’t regret going to Future tattoo!

I got my navel pierced today and it was a very quick and easy process. the piercer used gloves and cleaned everything very carefully before piercing me. the place was extremely clean and they do walk ins. will come back to this place again almost forgot to mention the guy was very sweet and great prices

Chris can be a little short/rude but maybe that’s just how he is. He definitely does take his time with piercings and all my piercings are by him! Super clean as well. Although beware of the girl piercer, not sure what her name is but she did my nostril one and it came out terrible and not aligned with my other piercing…

Got a piercing today with Chris. The shop is very clean, with Covid safety precautions in place. Chris was very professional and communicated w me throughout the entire time of what was going and what to expect next, which i appreciated. The whole process was quick and pain free. Chris explained how to take care of my piercing and gave me a sheet with aftercare instructions to take home. I also purchased their aftercare solutions which was a convenience for me. I will be bringing my daughter in for her piercings. Cash only.

Came here exactly one week ago with my sister. We both got our cartilage pierced and I got two extra piercings in my lobes. Nicole (not sure if I spelled it right) was amazing! She explained the process and after care in great detail. Made me feel completely comfortable and did a great job with her work. On day 7 of my cartilage piercing and have had no complications, just normal tenderness. My sister also ended up getting a tattoo by Alex (sp?) and it healed so great and looks amazing. Will definitely be going back here again!

Super professional and clean place! It always seems like there are people getting art done or piercings. All the staff is super mega nice!I went to get a single ear cartilage piercing, they were super helpful and so confident! I didnt even know they finished until they stepped away. They have me aftercare instructions and were just so amazing!

Love the service! Straight to the point and no excessive greeting. Perfect for people like me who don’t know what to do. He seem to know what customers want and provide information before hand. I got a flat piercing and it was like a 3/10 pain level, super quick!! Recommend!

Extremely nice clean professional place; I came to get my dermal top switched out for a bigger diamond top. I called to see if I can come in that day, luckily the piercer was able to squeeze me in a appointment that day to come in and get it switched out. He was very respectful most definitely would come here if your looking to get ur dermal top switched out!

Two friends and I got pierced here a year ago.I personally had an okay experience: got a rook done with no problems.One of my friends got a conch where the post was a little too short for a newly fresh piercing.Other friend wanted a faux rook and a flat. Faux rook ended up being a rook with a straight barbell instead of curved. In addition, her flat was pierced at a weird angle. She was told by 2 APP certified piercers that her flat was at an extremely weird angle and that if she wanted a true flat, she would have to have it removed and re-pierced (which she ended up doing). The certified piercers also told her that the flat would NEVER heal at the angle that it was initially pierced at.Me and my friends would truly recommend going to APP certified piercers. They know what they are doing. This place is not APP certified. You can look up your nearest APP certified piercer very easily on the APP website!Friends and I have MULTIPLE piercings and many experiences where they were high and low. Ultimately, the ones that provided with the best service, best explanations, and truly took time to care and give outstanding outcomes are the ones that are APP certified.

I absolutely love this place, everyone had such a professional attitude and they were all so kind. Any questions I had they answered, they new everything. It was a really easy and quick process, I got my septum pierced by the way. I recommend this place for anyone, the prices are good as well. My septum was $56 in total and that includes jewelry and cleaning supplies. You should definitely go here.

I got my second lobe & helix piercing done here. It was super painless and she walked me through what she was doing and fixed the positioning so that they would match up perfectly. I love how they look and loved how they handled customers. Thank you again for doing such a great job!

Ive been to this shop several times, Chris did piercings for me and my friends. Lets just say, hes not the nicest person. He can be very rude to you when you ask him questions or ask for a piercing to be in a certain position/spot. I do like that the shop is very clean with its tools and jewelry. And their prices are decent and the only shop in the area that does piercings that I know of.

Piercings are okay. Got my cheeks pierced. One was pierced crooked causing some irritation. Went in a few days later to get the bar switched to longer because he pierced me with short bars for some reason. Whole back disc fell off within days and guy couldn’t help me and didn’t return my calls. Not super helpful.

Got my earlobes re-pierced here after years of swearing I would never get them re-pierced because of the trauma I went through the first time. I highly recommend this shop and specifically Chris. I got them re-pierced with a friend on a whim and was extremely anxious about my past experience. Chris was awesome and answering all my questions and addressing all my concerns from the past. I highly recommend this place!

Dont believe the negative reviews! I came right as the shop was opening and was greeted kindly and asked to wait a few moments while he opened. I was only coming in for help getting some jewelry in, but was treated just as nicely as if I were getting work done. I will be back for any future piercings (lol).

Super friendly & very knowledgable staff!! I went to this location a noob to nose piercings but knew I wanted one. Alex was very welcoming, spilled her knowledge & answered all my questions. Very proffessional & reasonable prices. I got my nose piercing for $25. This place is Cash Only $$$. They also have a ATM on site. Reasonable pricing cleaning aftercare products. The owner of this location also makes mouthguards/nightguards. They also have a good selection of piercings in display. Overall experience was super!! Definitely recommend! I will definitely come back for some different color nose piercings once my piercing heals :)!!!

Got a piercing done here and loved it. No pain, no appointment needed, very quick and clean. James walked me through everything he was going to do and was very calming (ok take a deep breath in..exhale) even though all I got was a simple piercing. He and the guys arent uber friendly/outgoing so I can see why some people may say theyre unfriendly...but eh, no diff for me.

Chris handled my snake bites and did an incredible job. Minimal pain and an extremely pleasant and patient guy. Even when I was $20 short he just held my phone while I ran to the bank to get the $$. I highly recommend this place and will be coming back soon for a nose piercing.

Dont believe the 1 stars this places was great. I will def recommend to friends/family!Just got my nose pierced and loved it...everything was great from the min i walked in...things needed was my ID which makes sense, and pay with cash but no worries they have an atm inside so you dont have to leave get money and come back...the staff was very friendly...there prices are ...when doing the peircing they open brand new tools which is clean blake wore gloves so very safe for both of us...and before doing the piercing he made sure it was in the right spot, on top of it they made jokes which entertained my mother that joined me (she did not think I would do it so she wanted to go to watch the process lol)....after the peircing they were very helpful on how to clean it...i also perchased the stuff to clean it after...luckly there across the street from my work so ill def be back for more...cant wait.

I went in to get my lip pierced. Chris pierced my lip! Very cool guy! The piercing was painless and he guided me through it! He answered all my questions without being annoyed. I honestly wouldnt go anywhere else anymore for piercings.

Blake did a wonderful job on a memorial tattoo for my son. Couldnt have been nicer and I couldnt be more happy with his execution the idea I brought to him. He also tweaked the image and added a very personal touch to it.

So today was the day lol..Not gonna lie... I was EXTREMELY nervous about going because of the bad views of the piercer(Chris) but I went for it anyways.. hoping I wouldnt get Chris... Turns out he was the only one there so I had NO choice.. For ALL the people saying hes rude and blah blah blah... GROW UP. Chris was SUPER Sweet and very Focused on what he was doing. For some reason I felt safe.. I felt comfortable enough to assure myself he knew EXACTLY what he was doing.. He kept me calm and told me exactly how to breathe... Id definitely go back!! Thank you Chris soo much.. You are AMAZING..•••And for the people who sat there and accused him of being RUDE realize that Chris is HUMAN!! HUMANS have bad days... We arent forced to put a smile on our faces EVERYDAY! Its ok not to be ok.. and maybe you just got Chris on his not so good days... Im planing on going back soon. I love the tattoo i got over 6 years ago its still dark and looks great. Had planed to go back and do my other arm but I got really sick. Now a few surgeries later and getting back on my feet Ill finally go back and get inked up I wouldnt go anywhere else.
