Old School Ink Electric Tattooing

I can’t recommend Amy and Chris enough! When it comes to healing and aftercare, Amy made sure I would feel comfortable and educated about that process every step of the way in spite of my health challenges and I’ve had zero issues with the process by following her very clear instructions. Chris took an old tattoo I never should’ve gotten and turned it into an actual work of art, and they make you feel like you’re in their chair every week whether it’s your first visit or your fifteenth. It’s hard to fathom going anywhere else for my next piece or piercing!

I took my 4 year old daughter to get her ears pierced. Amy did amazing she kept my daughter calm and happy! I recommend her 10000000% for piercings!

Hands down 10 stars . I brought my daughter today to get 2 small arm tattoos . Logan was so wonderful he talked to her the whole time and made her tattoo experience great .I highly recommend these guys !

I took my 17 year old son here to have his first tattoo. He wanted a simple memorial piece done of his sweet aunt that passed away on IX.XVI.XIX. Chris Whorton drew exactly what he wanted and was so great with him. The shop was so nice and clean. Thanks y’all!

Logan Patty at OSI did an excellent job fixing some clouds that I had done at another shop. He was able to give me exactly what I wanted. My daughter has been begging me for a tattoo since she was 15. Always bought the stick one with her allowance. After two years I told her I would allow it if she chose art that meant something to her. She showed me the design and I loved it. We tried several top notch parlors in Atlanta but state law says you must be 18 yrs old. I told her if you really want it, do your research. Find a clean, top notch facility and if it’s not too far, I will take you. She did just that. We drive 2hrs and 15 mins to get to Logan@Old School Ink. He was fantastic! Talked to her the entire time which I’m sure helped distract her from the pain. She took it like a champ! He had the design perfect. She went slightly larger than the photo and added shadowing. He was helpful in discussing the after care routine and advising which products to use. She went through her first skin shed and the redness on the shadowing has healed! I highly recommend him and the parlor!

Went today and he opened the store on his day off bc I was in town visiting my bestie of 44 years and he had no openings on the regularly open times. I explained the tattoo and he listened to what I wanted. My cat always kissed me on my lips. Weird, I know. But after he passed, I realized how much I missed it. I wanted his nose and lips, but not full on black. I asked for watercolor and he amazed me with the finished product. Now, my boy Finster will forever be kissing me. ❤️. Clean store and washed his hands several times. Thank you!

Amy pierced my daughter and my ears. My daughters cartlige and shen men in my cartlige. She was so fun and gave us strict instructions on care. That was 4 days ago and we are both healing wonderfully. I definitely recommend Amy! Highest of quality work and a sweetheart!

My daughter and I have been wanting to get tattoos to honor her dad after he passed away. After lots of research, we found Jamie and traveled 3 hours to work with him. What a great decision! The shop was super clean and very cool. Jamie helped us tweak our ideas until it was just right and we couldn’t be happier. He even got my husband’s fingerprints embedded in my butterfly 🦋. Highly recommend!

Chris and his team are absolutely incredible.Old School provides and comfortable and accommodating environment and the artists work with you on any project.I no longer live in the area, but driving back to get work done with Chris is worth it!

I love this shop! Chris does amazing work, the atmosphere is great, shop is very comfy and clean. Chris does very clean work and he’s light handed too. He’s done 4 out of 5 of my pieces one of them being a half sleeve, Amy has done my kids ear piercings and my older kids nose piercing. I wouldn’t go anywhere else! ❤️

Just wow! What a great experience, start to finish! Not only did I myself get work, but so did my wife (her first one!) And my 2 adult girls! Theyre regulars, we were visiting from out of state. The shop is a sight to see in itself! Chris is top notch, truly AMAZING!!! Not just a great artist, but a professional! Very impressed at how he made my wife comfortable in her first experience with tattooing. The man basically marathon tattooed us lol. Yet he made us feel welcome and appreciated the whole time! Side note... if youre a horror flick fan, youll have something in common! We WILL be returning for sure!

Chris was so cool. Laid-back, personable, and very nice! My daughter and I got matching mother-daughter tattoos. Chris was accommodating when I asked to make a small change and the price was right where I expected it to be. Definitely recommend Chris Whorton.

I had my tongue pierced a few weeks back by Amy. It was a really quick appointment, she was very nice and gave me all the info I needed. The piercing went really well and I haven’t had any problems with it. Really cool place, definitely recommend coming here!

Great service! We were not able to come in on a SAT night, so they came in on Sun when they were closed, and did my piercing. She explained everything she was doing, and in-depth after care. Great prices also. We will definitely get future tattoos and piercings here.

I’ve been sitting on this one for a few days debating on whether or not to leave this review. I wasn’t going to but something in me keeps telling me to. I got my tragus pierced on 10/28. I had went back and forth, texting the piercer, about coming in. I had an appointment scheduled for Friday at 5:30. The morning of I texted her to let her know that my husband wanted to come with me and he wasn’t able to that day, so we tried to work something else out where he could be there. The only times she was really available was before 5 during the week and I work typical 8-5 hours, so that wouldn’t work for me. I ended up going that evening and had asked me to be there as close to 5 as possible, I informed her it would be about 5:15-5:20 when I would get there as I was coming straight from work. I ended up getting there about 5:12. She didn’t end up getting to the shop until almost 6 (I assumed she would already be there). Fast forward to Tuesday 11/1. It was really sore and kinda felt like I had swimmers ear, where my jaw was hurting and the pain was radiating to other parts of my ear. I had been doing the advised care plus spraying with a saline solution (which was not on her paper apparently.) I texted her Tuesday morning asking if that pain was normal and that I had been using the solution she had a recipe for. She said “what solution” like…you don’t know what you’re telling your clients to do after you put a needle through a part of their body?! Then she asked if I was using a spray or what; I told her I had been doing the advised way plus spraying. She then said “yea it doesn’t say anywhere on there to use as a spray… if you don’t put pressure on it and around it every soak it won’t heal”, which in itself is weird because every piercing I’ve ever had they tell you to mess with it as little as possible to lessen irritation. Moving on, the conversation continues and I told her I’d keep her updated. Later the same day I had been researching aftercare tips and I saw several websites suggesting h2ocean spray, which I have used for every other piercing I’ve had. So, I asked her if I could use that she said “ Absolutely not.. that’s exactly what that is when you boil it.. except you would be. Paying for it or already paid for it. I said you can’t use sprays only soaks.. are you not understanding what I mean when I say you have to use the soaks or it won’t heal”. The last two lines really upset me. Because that sounds like you think I’m stupid. I did not respond to her after that. I’m just putting this out there for others considering going here for piercing, you might want to go somewhere else, unless you like being felt like you’re an idiot for asking a question. And, I have been using h2ocean on my piercing and it feels much better. I just don’t think making your own solution is very sanitary, yeah it’s a good thought on saving money, but it’s not sterile even if you boil the water. So, just food for thought.

This is the place to go to if you want a tattoo or any piercings. Chris does all of my kids and my tattoos and Amy is the best piercer I have ever met.

My friend and I drove from Springville to get tattoos and we dont regret it! Corey did our tattoos and he was phenomenal! The atmosphere was laid back but still very professional. We drive 4 hours from TN to have work done here. Today I decided with a little help from my family to get my daith pierced and Amy made a believer out of me, basically no pain and within an hour migraine is GONE!! If an one is questioning whether or not. Dont think twice give Amy a call she as awesome!

Drove 2 hours from Marietta, GA to get my daughter a shall tattoo on her wrist for her 17th b-day...GA law is ignorant and does not allow anybody under 18 to get a tattoo even with parental consent. Anyway, scheduled the appt. with Chris and he did a great job. As difficult as simple letters can be, the lines were crisp and sharp with no indication he ever lifted off the skin. The shop itself was quaint and very chill with a cabin in the mountains type feel. I would definitely recommend OSI for tattoos.

My daughter and I wanted twin tats. Since it would be the first time for both of us, we had to do some research to figure out the best place to go. Old School Ink Electric has the highest reviews. So, that’s where we went. I was scared the pain would be too much but the artist (Corey) was so patient and funny 😂! His work is BEAUTIFUL!! We went back a second time and I got one more and my daughter got 2!

Best tattoo shop, nationwide! Chris is a master artist. I encourage you to follow their Instagram. I was looking for a specific font. I wasn’t sure of placement. Amy brilliantly suggested the inside of my forearm. Not painful, at all. This wasn’t my first tattoo. I won’t even review the W. Hollywood nor the Maui shops; disasters. Although, I opted for simplicity, you should see the complex and colourful work. Incredible! And, as a Sepsis survivor, every doctor appointment is an opportunity for staff to see a visual “medical alert.” This tattoo literally saved my life. In December 2015, I was in the ER. (Ultimately requiring a second colon resection.) The nurse took my vitals. Saw the tattoo. I explained I’d survived Septic Shock, with organ failure. Enter, Dr. Henry Wang, who oversaw my care. You can find a plethora of journals and abstracts, he’s written; on Sepsis. Moral? Best tattoos at OSI. And, it just may save your life.

Was asked to text artist I wanted to use. Estimated roughly $80-$100. Utimately charged me $100 for the finger tat. I cash apped whole amount plus another $20. Have a whole section healing thats not even inked. I can see my freckles thru tat. Told me he wont do a touch up on his work unless I pay more. Pass.

I went there last year got a daith piercing had surgery this week so had to remove all jewelry and Amy was wonderful about working with me to get earring out and putting back in.
