Hawks Tattoos

I had a custom “dream” Tatoo done on me Friday, September 13th by Sam. She did an absolute amazing masterpiece!! I couldn’t be happier with it. I will definitely not only promote her AND her work, but I absolutely will promote Hawk’s tattoo.

Where do I even begin. My girl Wendy helped me get fitted up so I could get litted up for my birthday. She is the kindest person I have ever met. Talk about a sense of humor man. The quickest, most reliable piercer. Everyone in Hawks was So welcoming! 10/10 recommend.PS give my girl WENDY a raise!!

I turned 18 on 07/10 and my brother took me to get my first tattoo here on 07/11. It was a great first experience and Fawn did a great job. Super friendly people as well, and overall 10/10 experience. Will definitely be coming back.

I love Hawk, so far he has done 3 memorial tattoos for me. There is something very therapeutic about sitting in his chair, not only is he an incredible artist but hes just a good person. All three tattoos hes done for me were hand drawn onto me from reference pictures before being inked in permanently so I know I am the only one with this exact tattoo. I will always make time to stop in and sit in Hawks chair when I am in town, maybe one of these days Ill just go in for a fun tattoo and not need a new remembrance piece.

My daughter & I have had two piercings by Wendy. I would highly recommend her to anyone. She is patient, knowledgeable & helped us feel at ease.

We took our 6 year old for her first piercing at Hawk’s Tattoo yesterday and will never be back. I realized when we pulled up we forgot her birth certificate, so I messaged their FB page that we’d be right back. If I’m not early to an appointment, I feel late. We walked in at 4:31 and got her paperwork done, and sat at the corner table while we waited for Wendy. We were told she’d be right up.A walk in came in for a jewelry change, and asked the wait. The front desk girl told her Wendy had an appointment now but could get her in right after. She said that was fine. Someone comes to the front and takes the walk in back. I say to the front desk girl “aww, we had an appointment and she’s anxiously waiting” she says they’re just a jewelry change, it’ll just be a minute. I say I get that, but no one said anything to us and the 6 year old is sitting here waiting. She dismisses me so I’m like whatever, I won’t let that change the tone of her day.So we finally go back and Wendy says “they were just a jewelry change”. I said I get that but no one said anything to us at all, like hey we’re gonna take them back really quick but then we’ll get Rylee. No one spoke to us at all. She says I just wanted to get them done, it wasn’t like it took a long time. I said I hear you, but this is special for her and no one said anything to her or us.I don’t think I have to say anything about the piercing, it speaks for itself. I will say I’ve never seen a piercing done free handed without clamps or a marker guide on the back. Especially on a child.I reached out to Wendy via Hawk’s FB, as that is how we scheduled the appointment. Not only did she not respond to my concerns, she also blocked me.0/10 for customer service and traumatizing my kid with poor piercing skills. Absolutely zero resolution when her scary needle work was confronted. But I guess that’s what you get in a back room of a tattoo shop, with a guy sitting quietly amongst the storage, watching over the entire interaction. I wasn’t going to post at all but blocking me? Klassy.

I got my first tattoo ever from Hawks last December. Not knowing anything about tattoos, I considered what I asked for to be quite simple, a realistic cell tower. Since, many have commented on how well it was done, including other tattoo artists. I went back in February for another type of cell tower. It was also done very well. I went back last night, and asked them to replicate a photo I had taken of an injured hawk while performing my work (on cell sites.) I am posting shots of all 3 tattoos and the photo they replicated. They flipped the photo so it would face forward on my right shoulder. Fawn did the tower tattoos, and Sam did the hawk. Both young women did phenomenal jobs at a price that you will not come close to anywhere else!

Ive gotten several tattoos from Sam and piercings from Wendy and they are both fantastic! All the artists are friendly and do a great job. Office manager is friendly and helpful as well.

Everyone is so welcoming and always make me feel comfortable whenever I come in. I love all of my tattoos and piercings that I’ve gotten here, and they’re very accommodating. Definitely going to get more tattoos here :)

My tattoo is so terrible from there. My nose piercing is also in a terrible spot. I always give good reviews so let me tell you Im not lieing. I went maybe 2 months ago and will not go back in my life.

I got my first tattoo from Hawk when I was 18! 33 years later I just got my newest one!!! I’ve never had problems with any of the work I’ve gotten done!! I’ve gone in with ideas of what I want, and he always comes up with exactly what I’m thinking!! Always have a great time while I’m there!! Can’t wait to go back!!!

Wendy is good, unless your a six year old kid looking for an ear piercing.

People are wonderful! You just have to love Sam, show her and tell her what youre looking for and she delivers!!I will definitely be back for another session! ❤️

Amazing shop!! I can only speak for the piercer currently (as far as work) but she is so friendly and professional. Talked me through the piercing process and made sure I was completely ready before beginning. She took the time to get my bridge perfectly aligned with my features and existing piercings, she was even able to give me the placement I wanted! The tattoo artists also in the shop were all very professional with paper work and sanitation. Will 100% be going back and recommending!

The couple tattoos I have had only been done by Sam and I’ve had 5 of 7 piercings done by Wendy and I definitely plan to get more work done by both ladies. The shop is always clean and feels more than safe to have this work done in. All of my body mods have healed wonderfully and look fantastic! I absolutely adore my tattoos and Sam is so fun to work with. Everyone at Hawks is very friendly and it is really easy to build relationships with them, especially if you’re going back frequently (which it is almost guaranteed that you will). Love your guys work and the environment you provide!

My husband came in to more work done on his arm. As always, it was a wonderful experience. The building is clean. They clean, disinfect/sanitize every station after every client. They take pride in their work and what they do, and it shows. They bounce ideas off of each other and continue to learn in their fields, epanding on their knowledge base, learning new techniques, and honing their craft. The staff is always friendly. The environment is easy-going making getting a piece done just that much more enjoyable of an experience. Sam always does amazing work. She drew up a wicked headless horseman to add to my husbands arm. After it heals, he will be going back to have the background put in around his whole arm to tie all of his different pieces on that arm together.

People are very friendly and helpful, artists are very good and talented. Prices are very reasonable.

Wendy was amazing! So professional and made us feel very comfortable. This is the only place I would go for piercing.

Best tattoo place ever. My mom and I went in for a tattoo and came out with the best tattoo I have ever seen. Sam is an amazing tattoo artist. She is sweet and great at what she does. Please come here for tattoos. What a great place. Everyone is so nice. Prices are great also.

This place is the bomb. While I can only speak from my personal experience, and by extension, the quality may vary depending on what you get.That said, I would trust these folks with anything I wanted inked. Friendly staff, the perfect combination of playful and professional. I was so pleased I immediately made another appointment for some other work.Sorry for the novel-- Im just enthusiastic about this place and the people who work there. 12/10 would (and am) go again.

Had my piercing changed here and a new one done. The whole process was easy and quick. Very professional atmosphere.

I have been getting work(s) done by Hawk for 20 years, although I have known him much longer. I live more than 1000 miles away and plan trips back to town specifically to be seen by him. His knowledge, artistry, and demeanor are incomparable and unbeatable. Everyone I have met in the decades I have known him who hav apprenticed for him or worked beside him are also incredibly talented and capable. Absolutely recommend!

As always, top notch artwork, great conversation, good tunes, and a very comfortable atmosphere. Hawk is a world known tattoo artist whose creativity is unsurpassed. An elite tattooist that will be included in history books for ions because of his effortless talent. The only downfall is the 6-10 week waiting period for an appointment due to his immense popularity, abilities, and workload. Very personable, Hawk has become a man I can call brother, a term I personally dont throw around except for those who are and will always be a true friend and brother.

I went to get my tattoo on April 5th, 2021. Making the appointment and getting the tattoo was a smooth and easy process. I was overall impressed with my visit. It wasn’t until the tattoo fully healed that I started having issues. My tattoo artist (Sam) told me she was going to thicken a line on the tattoo and it’s way thicker than the rest of the lines. There are multiple spots on the tattoo that are like this. I didn’t mind too much, I just thought I would back and get it touched up. When I called they said they could do it and that they’d call me back with availability. This was in August, and I never received a call back. I called again about a week ago and they told me they’d call me back and didn’t. They haven’t followed up with me and whoever answered the phone seemed irritated and wasn’t super helpful both times I called.

I came to hawks for a cover up and a commemorative traditional tattoo for my nephew that was killed. Andria did my tattoos and did an amazing job! I tried to leave a lot of the art up to her and she killed it in every way! I had a couple weird asks and she hit everything exactly how I wanted! And not only that I feel the price I paid was more than fair for the awesome art I received! Will be back for more.

This was THE BEST tattoo experience that Ive ever had!! My tattoo meant so much to me and Hawk did a wonderful job.. personable, interactive, creative... And real.. I just enjoyed my appointment today..Id highly recommend Hawks

Sam did my tattoo of my dogs paw print on the top of my foot. It was the first tattoo I have ever gotten and I was very scared because people had told me it would be very painful. Sam took the time to talk to me and tell me exactly what she was going to do. It was a little stingy but not painful. She was great I love my tattoo. She made my experience a good one. Thank you so much Sam.

Went in and Fawn said she could do my rework. She had no game plan nothing. Hawk came over to talk and was kinda rude. I stupidly paid for the rest of the work and then no reminders nothing. So I should probably go in and ask for my money back because the work she did was garbage.

I got my first, and only tattoo tonight, and was fortunate to have THEE HAWK himself do it. It is in memory of my father, so no further tattoos needed, otherwise Id certainly want him to do one! It was a memorable experience for sure!

Shop does not use body-grade jewelry… Got two piercings done here, I was told by the piercer that the jewelry was titanium. I have a nickel allergy. The jewelry was NOT nickel-free, the piercings were inflamed and weeping for 3 months. I finally switched them to glass retainers - all issues resolved. You get what you pay for.

Went to them with something I wanted for my 40th and got exactly what I wanted..everyone was friendly and will be definitely going back to get some more work done

Best experience going to a shop to get anything done. The people are extremely nice and always try to make you feel comfortable with them before doing anything. 10/10 would recommend.

Years ago I was at Hawks getting a tattoo ( Not from Hawk ) with one of my friends. I went into the restroom to look at that tattoo and at that time Hawk asked my friend that I was with if I was gay. If Hawk was interested in a date he should have asked me not my friend. I seen him in front of Walmart a few weeks ago and he kept on staring at me. I would have said hi to him but hes aged so much that I barely even notice him. Thank you for showing your interest in me Hawk but Im not interested in you.

Jim Hawk is a highly experienced free hand tattoo artist! All of the people that work there are friendly. Several people in my family have gotten a tattoo from him!
