Such an awesome studio. Feels like a high- end doctors office with private rooms and autoclaves. Staff are experts, kind, gentle, and friendly, but still super efficient, and the entire place is beautifully clean and sterile. Lovely jewelry selection and wonderful help curating a nice look. Ive been here four times, and this is the only place in the state Id go to.Also Im currently disabled and the shop is totally accessible.

Loved working with Matt! He was super knowledgeable and very happy to answer my many questions. I also really appreciated getting his personal opinion on spacing and styling for my ear setups, which he of course offered in the most respectful way and with the caveat that it was just his personal taste.Piercing was quick and painless with lots of communication about what was going to happen. Space was super clean with an autoclave used in the room.Jewelry selection was on point! Loved seeing so many unique quality pieces! My new conch piece is a STUNNER and I am so pleased with how it looks!Overall, definitely worth the little annoyances of a strict late policy and no family/friends in the room policy. These guys are PROS and I believe its never worth cheaping out, whether in regards to money or effort, when it comes to piercing.

I got my septum pierced here about a year ago. All the staff is friendly and professional and Cameron is a great piercer! My piercing healed very easily with no issues. Expect to pay a bit more than other shops but the quality of the jewelry and the standards of the shop make it well worth it.

We just had my 8 year old daughters ears pierced at Freyja, and the experience from start to finish was wonderful. The kindness and care of the staff was unbelievable. Their number one goal was to make sure my daughter was comfortable and ready! We had Matt do the piercing, and he made us feel so at ease, and explained everything from start to finish. Even when we had a little hiccup (my daughter got unsure right as we were about to begin and thought she wanted to bag the whole thing), he waited patiently and his calm demeanor could be felt. Wed recommend Matt and Freyja to everyone, and will be back.

I trusted Freyja with my first piercing as an adult (a philtrum) and it was the perfect decision. The process was smooth from start to finish, the studio is so clean and welcoming and everyone there are SO kind. They answered all my questions and scheduled regular check ups to see about the healing. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to have something done!

I had such a wonderful experience in getting my nose ring placed. I wish I could remember the names of the two people who helped me but they were so knowledgeable and informative. I came to get my nose repierced and to check out the place for my daughter (5) to get her ears pierced. The staff was so gracious with their time and explaining why my daughter should delay due to her activities schedule. We will back in the winter to get her ears pierced and I am confident that they will take excellent care of her. 100% would definitely recommend.

This place was fantastic! Wanted a new shop after my old one closed. Also wanted to scout out the place before bringing my kids in. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable (I had Cameron helping me out)! The process was very well laid out and the procedure was very clean.I only wish I had found Freyja sooner! Definitely somewhere I feel comfortable bringing my kids to.

I went for a simple re-opening of an existing ear piercing. The office is spotlessly clean, and my service was done with meticulous attention to cleanliness. If I ever wanted a more complicated piercing, this would definitely be the place I would have it done at.

This has to be the best piercing facility I have come across ever! I give them 5 stars across the board! All the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about products . After having a botched nostril piercing done in the mall with a “ear piercing gun” in 2021, it was a breath of fresh air to come across Freyja Piercing and receive the highest quality of customer service and advice about proceeding with the old nostril piercing and future piercings. I had the pleasure of working with Cameron during all of my visits. Not only did they “fix” the issue with my nostril piercing, but I have returned to them for my tragus piercing as well. The best part about it? Their piercings are painless! I don’t even know it’s done until Cameron says “Ok. Done. Just putting the jewelry in.” Love it! I’ll be returning here for all of me and my family’s piercings and passing the word on.

I visited Freyja for the first time today for a helix piercing after doing some extensive research for a piercing shop that does not utilize piercing guns. The only thing I regret is not finding Freyja sooner. This place is super inviting and extremely clean. I worked with Cameron today, who was incredibly professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. He explained everything to me. Cameron was honest in saying he could attempt to reopen an old piercing instead of giving me a new one. Someone mentioned pricing in their review. The jewelry is on the pricier side, but I understood that going into it (look at their website so much good information is on there and they are upfront about pricing). I was prepared to invest in jewelry that was good quality instead of jewelry made out of cheap materials.I will definitely be coming back for additional piercings in the future and look forward to purchasing new jewelry for my piercing.

I recieved a conch piercing by Chris who was really informative and down to earth. Chris let me know all the steps that would take place before and during the piercing as well as what is expected for after care. I was very happy with my experience and the jewelry they have is so pretty! The store is very clean and their customer service is amazing!

My favorite piercing place of all time!! The piercers are so knowledgeable and truly do work with you to curate an amazing look. It doesnt matter if you have no piercings or a whole bunch already. The jewelry is gorgeous and of incredible quality. Ive been going here for years and will only go here! Highly recommend!

Update 2023-12-09: I already gave 5 stars but I feel the need to update my review. I have been to this shop on three separate occasions and have been pierced by all three (Matt, Cameron, & Matt L.). Each one of them are so kind, friendly and gentle- I honestly just want more piercings to go and see them. If you’re looking for a shop that feels comfortable/safe/clean/personable and has a beautiful selection of jewelry to choose from - PLEASE head to Freyja. Beyond content with my all of my experiences at their shop.They. Are. Amazing. I am having a hard time to put into words how fantastic this shop is. Matt & staff made my brother, sister-in-law and I feel very comfortable and assured that we were in good hands. Firstly, the shop is beautiful and so clean! There are many jewelry options to look at, all of which are something to admire. I especially appreciated how up-front they were about costs and did not make me feel like we needed to get pierced with the most expensive jewelry. Once we were ready, he explained the entire process before anything happened, sterilized all the equipment in front of us and made sure that all of our questions/concerns were taken care of and that we understood our after-care. I cannot recommend Matt or the shop enough.

For my daughter’s 16th birthday we got our noses pierced. The shop was clean and inviting. Cameron our body piercer was awesome, kind and very informative about the entire process. He helped us pick jewelry that would work best and fully explained aftercare instructions. We were so nervous about the pain, but Cameron was super quick we didn’t have time to react. It was a great experience and I recommend them to anyone looking for a good piercing shop.

I am a long time client of Matts and have always had a good experience.Recently I tried a place a little more local to me and my piercing became angry and inflamed due to many reasons, one of which was using the wrong type of jewelry for the anatomy of the location of my piercing. Matt not only helped me recover the piercing but continued to aid in the healing process so that I would not lose the piercing. His knowledge and professionalism is worth the trek from my location and it would be worth yours, too.

After my last few piercings I made sure to look into the reviews to make sure everything was consistent in quality of care, and all the good reviews are right. They were incredibly professional and kind and gave great aftercare instructions. They also were very understanding of my budget and I never felt rushed or pressured to do anything. I have really bad anxiety and was pretty nervous throughout the whole appointment and they were nothing but kind and supportive. They were incredible and I will not be needing to go to a different piercer anytime soon. I got my septum pierced and the double lip studs, my pierced was sure to make it even and confirmed the position of both piercings with me (they look a bit crooked because of the swelling and how I couldn’t stop smiling afterwards).

My six year old daughter asked to get her ears pierced and we went to Freyja Piercing after seeing them recommended by other moms. We had Cameron who was so patient and kind with my very nervous daughter. He explained every step to her and let her know she could stop at any time. The sterilization process was so thorough. I couldn’t recommend enough.

The shop was clean and welcoming. They were prompt at our appointment time. My teen got their nostril pierced by Cameron. He was so helpful! He put my child at ease and made them much more comfortable with the process. We would recommend Freyja to anyone!

Got my first ear piercing (both ear lobes) at Freyja and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. I was very nervous (as needles make me woozy sometimes) but Cameron was very kind and asked me if I had any questions or concerns before the appointment. Everything was super clean and sanitized. He eased my mind and the piercing process was super easy. I’m very happy with my new piercings!! Highly recommend this company if you’re looking to get a piercing or even just new jewelry. Ive had a couple piercings done at Freyja and each time was a wonderful experience. The first time was done by Matt B. the owner for my second lobes and it was an incredibly smooth process. He helped me pick out jewelry, explained every step of the piercing process, and answered every question I had. This most recent time my septum piercing was done by Matt L. Matt L made sure the septum piercing would work for me anatomically, he helped me pick out jewelry, and made sure to explain every step of the process. Im not gonna lie, this one did hurt but Matt L made sure I was okay throughout the process. Im so happy with all my piercings and would highly recommend anyone go to Freyja!

Far and above my best piercing experience. After some past experiences, I only go to APP piercers, which is how I found Freyja. It’s not too far from DC and Northern Virginia, and well worth the trip for the experience! Best actual piercing, follow-up, care support, and jewelry change. I could not have been more pleased with our experience with Freyja Piercing. My husband and I took our daughter here to get her ears pierced, my husband was getting his done as well.Cameron was extremely thorough in explaining the whole process, going through each step. He talked directly to our daughter and made sure she felt heard if she had any questions or concerns. He emphasized the importance of consent through each step. Our daughter ended up not going through with the piercings. Cameron was very understanding and so patient with her. 100% will be returning when she decides she’s ready.

Excellent, amazing, awesome. I made an appointment to have my face dermal removed. I had called a couple of places, but most places didn’t removal dermals, I couldn’t get an appointment, or had bad reviews.Alli greated me, I filed out the consent form, and Matt took me back for my appointment. First thing I noticed was how perfectly clean, and sterile the shop is. Perfectly clean.The removal was quick and easy, and did not hurt one bit. Literally took about 1-2 minutes and the dermal was out, with no problem. I am super happy, and very impressed with the shop, and Matt, and Alli (sorry Alli if I am spelling your name incorrectly.) Highly recommended. Thank you!!

Really enjoyable experience where I felt like I was being seen and taken care of by true professionals. Clean and sterile environment with great customer service and large variety of earrings at various price points. Had new earrings put in for a new second lobe piercing that was only a few months old. They talked me through each step and it was almost painless. Highly recommended!!

I got my navel pierced here two months ago by Matt and it was an excellent experience. This place is very professional and covid safe. They took me in, right on the dot of my appointment. The jewelry got sterilized right before the piercing process, Matt explained and answered all my questions about the piercing, the place looks really nice, neat, and clean. Plus, they do email check ups on how my piercing is healing or doing so far which is pretty considerate!

Honestly Ive never recieved better customer service anywhere.As soon as I walked in I felt valued. I was there because my 5 (almost 6) year old wanted to get her ears re-peirced. Jess greeted us warmly, engaged with my daughter the entire time, let my daughter pick out 2 earring that didnt match (we are all about not following the normal stream of things) Jess also explained in remarkable detail, metals, and the material that the earring they carried consisted of, and how it was very different from your pediatricians and all other places that pierce your ears.Last time my daughter had her ears pierced was when she was 6 months old. 1 ear had issues and I eventually said I was done and took them out. Gave them a break. By the time I wanted to put earrings back in, the holes closed, and she DID NOT want anything to do with getting it done again.All of a sudden she wanted to do i again. I chose to go to piercing shop, because if you think about it..why would I have her pediatrician do it? They specialize Im health problems not piercing ears. Nick Tate at Lucky Bird in Annapolis (tattoo/piercing shop) highly recommend this shop.Matt the piercer was hands down the best piercer Ive ever experienced (Ive had MANY piercings) he explained the proccess so well to my daughter. All my daughter needed was to insert a post that will stretch the hole that she already had just a little in order to put the special flat backed post in. Of course my daughter was scared, but Matt never once showed signs of being frustrated or irritated.I think this is the one review that Ive done on Google that I wish they could allow us to give 10 stars. Dont think twice and GO HERE.

I had an amazing experience. I’m not the biggest fan of needles but my piercer Cameron did a really great job explaining everything to me and was super calm yet bubbly. The facility is so nice and clean and they walk you through every step of the process and explain everything to you. I was extremely happy with my care and will be getting all my other piercings there in the future!!

I have frequented the shop quite a few times over the years; before the pandemic to purchase a BVLA piece to replace a piece of jewelry in my nose, during the pandemic to repierce my nostril with a new BVLA piece, and recently for my septum piercing. The shop owners, Matt and Jessica, are very knowledgeable and passionate about their work. I had the pleasure of being pierced by Cameron, who shared (upon asking) that he was well-versed in the septum piercing arena. He made the process smooth, painless and quick. Within seconds an exquisite BVLA piece was placed in my septum for the world to adore. In addition to quality customer service, the jewelry selection is certainly top tier. Most amazing shop I have ever been to in my life. Decided I had to find a new piercer and tried Freyja and it was great. I got a conch piercing a few days ago and it was not nearly as painful as expected and I can really tell it was done well given the quick time in which the swelling and redness went away after. Jewelry selection is unreal!The staff and this business definitely understand that getting a piercing is an experience and they did everything possible to make it feel special, individualized and fun! I felt like the only client all day and it was nice to pick my jewelry with no rush!If you want piercings they just can’t be done poorly or cheaply - please save yourself any and all trouble and come to this place even if it’s a far drive!1000/10 absolutely would recommend and will absolutely be returning for more piercings!

As a doctor and a professional I was so highly impressed with the quality of the services my daughter received today! The facilities were super clean And the staff was exceptional! They explained everything in a very brief period of time, sterilized the nose piercing and made my daughter feel very very comfortable as well as myself during this entire process. Freyja provides such an amazing atmosphere! I made an appointment for a nose piercing and was greeted by Jess. She was very pleasant and was very helpful and insightful when guiding me to choose the correct jewel for my nose. (They have an amazing selection of fine jewelry that is beautiful) The shop is very nice inside and extremely clean. Matt was the piercing specialist who pierced my nose. He was super friendly and extremely knowledge and answered all my questions that I had before the piercing procedure. Matt made me feel at ease and I was no longer nervous about getting my piercing. My nose piercing went extremely well, he explained everything that he was doing step by step. The piercing was relatively pain free! The way Matt sanitized before and after my piercing and the cleanliness of the shop is top notch! If I choose to get another piercing it will definitely be at Freyja!

I was there in July, got my ears re-pierced. The guy who did the piercing was cool, not a problem with him at all. But the prices were really way too high for what I was getting. I should have walked out but I figured I was already there -- thats on me. Given the prices being what they are, I wont be returning. Ive also noticed the owners replies to peoples negative reviews are alarming, pushy and aggressive. Its very off putting.

I live in Delaware and Ive been talking to Matt for a little while online, Ive finally been in the shop twice and Matt is just as nice in person as he is online. He and Chris are so warm and welcoming. Im coming back again this weekend to do some additional stretching and upgrading. They are amazing. As a former piercing apprentice, the Freyja studio is truly what piercing dreams are made of, its so beautiful and clean. Matt and Chris both have several years of experience and are APP certified. Theyre up there with the best of the best. I trust them completely with any of my modifications.

Simply the best piercing studio Ive ever been to in the last 18yrs. The staff is knowledgeable, professional, respectful, and talented. The jewelry is all top shelf and high quality. I have been pierced by both Matt (several times) and Cameron and have nothing but positive things to say. Well worth the price of admission.

I would recommend this place over any other place for piercings. The whole team seems very experienced & confident. Their portfolios are wonderful. I know from experience that Chris is an amazing piercer. Freyja is so incredibly clean and the team is super friendly. The atmosphere is upscale, understated, very nice, with easy to understand and well laid out curated pieces in the cases. I got some jewelry changed. Everything they use is very high quality & Chris was welcoming & affirming, I went home with a lovely new septum ring & some new cheek jewelry (checks pierced by Chris a couple years ago). My partner got some piercings as well, the whole process was explained, everything was so so Extremely clean & reassuring regarding processing and sterilized tools. My partners piercing went smoothly, we were provided with easy to understand aftercare. They also have a nice rewards program if youre buying a lot of jewelry etc. that I thought was nice.

I could not be happier with my experience here! I got my septum done, as well as my right nostril re-pierced, and had my left nose ring swapped out. Matt was so nice and calmed my nerves and talked me through the whole process. It was unlike any other piercing experience Ive had-- the shop was immaculate and felt super safe and comfortable. Amazing shop and super friendly and knowledgeable staff! Beautiful and wide selection of jewelry. Highly recommend. I took my daughter here for a piercing and the jewelry was quite a bit more expensive than I expected, but I felt super comfortable, the space was immaculate beyond belief, smelled lovely, and there was such a gorgeous selection of jewelry including 14 or 18K gold.Will definitely be back and wouldnt hesitate to send someone else here - we drove from DC which was about 30 min and it was more than worth the trip.

Great experience getting a second set of double lobe piercings! I came in with a picture and ideas, and Matt and Jessi had slightly different ideas—it was fun to collaborate with them and I ended up going with what they suggested. It was awesome to hear Matt say how much he loved how it looked before I got to see it myself. I cannot recommend Freyja enough—this is not just a job for them, it is their passion. I had to get one of my earlobes repierced and a friend recommended Freyja to me. Booking my appointment online was easy and quick and I received plenty of reminders about my appointment. The shop/studio is beautiful and very clean. Jessi & Matt were great about answering my questions via email prior to my appointment and while I was at my appointment. I was a bit nervous since I havent had to get pierced in years, but Matt talks you through the whole process, which I like. Cost-wise it can add up, but I had looked at the jewelry ahead of time, so I was prepared and Im fine paying for quality service and jewelry which is what I got. Im so happy to have my piercing back...and Im tempted to get more!

This place is DOPE. I was impressed with Freyja from the moment I made my appointment online. The online platform is smooth, clean, and efficient. The facility was absolutely spotless, the instruments and jewelry were sterilized, and the way they have adapted their safety and health precautions in the current COVID climate was extremely impressive. I am thrilled to have found Freyja and cannot wait for them to curate more art for my body.

Both Matt and Chris are some of the best piercers Ive ever had the pleasure of encountering, and Ive been floating around the Annapolis/surrounding area piercing scene for over 10 years now. I received a nose piercing last week from Freyja. I was really impressed with the shop, it’s very clean and pretty. The jewelry that they offer is top notch. This isn’t your typical piercing place. Matt was my piercer and he was great! He was very professional and helped me achieve what I was looking for! Matt was quick to answer any questions I had about my piercing via IG after it was done. The service continues beyond the appointment. I would recommend everyone to get pierced here.

They are absolutely amazing. I went in to get my septum pierced and looked at to make sure it was actually capable of being re-pierced. Cameron was straight up and said my septum is far too deviated to get pierced without problems. I cannot recommend this shop enough for the professionalism, the knowledge, and for their amazingly beautiful jewelry. While I might be sorely disappointed, they have gotten a customer for future piercings that I desire. Seriously, run, dont walk to this place.

As soon as you walk in the door you are greeted with a beautiful showroom, excellent customer service from Jessica and cleanliness is 100%. I have never had any issue with healing post piercings and I am convinced it is due to Matts attention to sterilization, jewelry quality and post care instructions. You truly get what you pay for and Freyja Piercing/ Matt is worth every penny!

I can’t imagine a better piercing establishment. I took my 10-year old here for her first ear piercing, and it was a perfect experience. They have an amazing selection of tasteful, high-quality jewelry to select from. The lovely Jessi helped us select the perfect pair of earrings, and wonderful Matt performed the piercing. He was sweet and kind and explained everything perfectly to my daughter, making sure she knew she was the boss of the whole deal. Their cleanliness is impeccable, and the entire establishment is stylish and immaculate. It’s pricier than Claire’s, Piercing Pagoda, etc., but it’s well worth it, since your health and well-being aren’t worth risking, and they use only the highest-quality jewelry. Highly recommend.

I cannot express how AMAZING this place is! Ive gone to Matt for various piercings and jewelry changes; each time has been a great experience! Matt, Jessi, and Chris are so friendly and welcoming. Not to mention knowledgeable and honest! Their jewelry selection beautiful, diverse, and high quality. I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin and this is the ONLY jewelry that hasnt broken my skin/ears out.This is the only place I recommend to anyone who wants to get new piercings or jewelry. I love Matt and everyone that works at the studio! Matts the only one whos done my piercings and hes fantastic. The shop is beautiful and clean. Theyll answer any and all questions you have. Matt does a great job of explaining everything from how he pierces to the after care. If you have any issues, he wants to know about it! I love that they stress follow up appointments as well. Youre not done until youre healed. The jewelry options they have are out of this world! I always have a hard time picking just one thing. This is the place to go if you want high quality and a stress free environment.

I would give this place 6 stars if I could. I’ve wanted to get my cartilage piercing for a while and I was debating on coming here, since I live an hour away, but we had an outstanding recommendation from another piercer, and the reviews were amazing. As soon as I walked in, I thought we were in the wrong place because I have never seen a piercing shop as elegant and clean as this one. We were greeted by Matt, who is absolutely amazing and is totally an expert at what he does. He gave us many options of earrings and was so patient and understanding. He answered questions I didn’t even know that I had. After talking to him for even 10 minutes, I felt 5 times more comfortable with the piercing, and I hadn’t even gotten it yet. He explained the material they use, how they sterilize, and so much more. During the piercing, Matt took his time making sure everything was placed well and that I liked it. The pain was 1/10 of what I was expecting, and there were no surprises and it was nice and quick. He then explained to me all of the aftercare and told me that his job isn’t finished until I’m healed which I totally appreciate. Jess also was so kind and filmed the whole thing so that I could have it. I will never get pierced anywhere else ever again. If you’re thinking about getting a piercing, this is definitely the place to come.

As a lazy person taking the time to write my first google review is a milestone but the service and quality of this shop deserves every bit of energy to write it!! I drove two hours each way to visit and would do it again in a heartbeat. I am a retail manager and am always interested to see the flow of other businesses, to put it lightly this shop is doing everything right from jewelry selection to knowledgeable staff to the perfectly curated simple elegance of the shop. One of the most all around pleasant shopping/piercing/retail experiences of my life. Matt is extremely professional but also very easy to talk to and get honest and accurate information right back. Jessi made me feel most welcome and went out of her way on several occasions to help me make the selection that would work for me and my body. The entire shop including the staff exudes quality and workmanship in a way that is so rare to find and made a customer for life out of me. My daughter introduced me to Freyja, went there for a consult on a 2 year old piercing, done elsewhere, that didnt want to heal. Chris diagnosed the issue & fixed it. My wife gets her piercings and jewelry from here and they are absolutely the best shop in Maryland. Jess is nice, funny and great with kids (in case you’re bringing your 5+ year old to get their ears pierced) & is always so welcoming when you arrive. Matt is extremely professional and will take his time to ensure that you get the best quality and fitted jewelry for your money. He’s also extremely gentle in his piercing method. Chris is a very kind soul that would surely put anyone at ease. Their method is also very gentle like Matt and they have always made the piercing & jewelry exchange painless for my wife. I took my 8yo daughter to Freyja yesterday to get her ears pierced for her birthday. I cannot say enough good things about this shop. It was spotless and the employees were wonderful. I wish every care provider would speak to children the way Matt did before he pierced her ears. He informed her of the procedure, walked her through it and asked for her consent to pierce her ears. He was patient and kind and respectful, traits people often don’t reserve for children. Jessi was so helpful getting us checked in and picking out earrings. She asked my daughter many times if she had any questions or concerns. The level of care they have for their customers is wonderful. As a mother I would absolutely recommend this place for adults and children alike. You will not be disappointed.

Ive been wanting to pierce my rook for a while now but had concerns because my ears were badly scarred by previous ear piercings when I was younger.I chose to go to Freyja because they were the only shop I could find nearby who does not use piercing guns for any reason and they do not perform the horizonal tongue piercing. Both of these are dangerous and I feel any piercing shop that knows what theyre doing should know this and refuse them both.Im glad I found them.Cameron was my piercer and he patiently answered all of my questions and concerns. The shop was very very clean and sterile. Everyone was so nice and professional.I would highly recommend them. They are a little more expensive than other shops but you know what they say...you get what you pay for. Freyja was well worth the extra cost to have such a great experience.

Freyja Piercing has the kindest staff (especially Matt and Jess) and the best service! The environment is very welcoming and they care about all of their clients. They have a large variety of jewelry to choose from and are extremely helpful when it comes to placement and jewelry selection. The best piercing place I’ve been too. All three generations of my family have been pierced here ( me, my mother, and grandmother) and we love all our piercings!

Everyone at Freyja has been beyond wonderful. I’ve now had two forward helixes and a daith pierced there, plus they have provided so much support and advice on healing and jewelry for piercings I previously had done elsewhere. Chris, Jessi and Matt are incredibly patient and helpful to everyone who comes into their beautiful, immaculately clean shop. My niece got her helix done, and I got my nostril done. Both by Matt, and he answered every question we had, gave us proper aftercare instructions, as well as follow up care even a month later. Jessi was amazing at helping us decide on jewelry. I even ordered a custom piece for my helix to be done with. They specialize in piercing so it’s not like an afterthought like most places. My piercer recommended going to Freyja because they only carry titanium and pure gold jewelry (much better stuff than most piercing places). My body was reacting to the stainless steel ring I was pierced with. Freyja was impeccably clean and the guys couldn’t have been nicer or more knowledgeable. They truly are experts. I will never go anywhere else for piercings from now on. They even want me to come pop in in a month so they can check on it to see how it’s doing. Superb customer service and amazing selection of jewelry.

I had many piercings done at Frejya. The studio was always very clean, my appointments started on time, the staff was very friendly, and my piercings were done well. I was a satisfied customer. I have debated for almost two years about leaving this review because I had one bad experience. Back in 2021, I ordered a very, very expensive piece of jewelry that was supposed to be designed to match other jewelry I already owned, and was wearing when I came for my last appointment. When I arrived to have the new piece placed (I couldnt do it myself), I was strongly encouraged to not see the jewelry before it was placed but to wait and see it after it was put in place in my ear, so I could, really appreciate it. At the time, I didnt see any issue with that. Unfortunately, once I was wearing the jewelry (and thusly could not return it) I was given a mirror to see how it looked. It was only at this time I discovered the jewelry was not as I had ordered it and it did not match my existing jewelry. It was very disappointing and I felt deceived. Maybe it was intentional, maybe it wasnt. Either way, I had to pay hundreds of dollars for something that was not what I wanted and since I was already wearing it, I no longer had the opportunity to say so. Needless to say, I quietly paid my bill, left, and havent returned.Edit 1/1/2023Matt, Thanks for your reply. I want everyone reading these reviews to know how much I appreciate your willingness to rectify my situation. I came to the shop today and hopefully everything will work out. I’ve updated my 4 stars to 5.

I came in with my mother and my younger sister as all three of us were getting piercing today. Could not have had a better experience. Jess and Matt were very professional, kind, great at alleviating nerves, and all around were very knowledgeable. They were ready to answer any pending questions or concerns and especially made this a memorable experience for my sister. I highly recommend this place!! Awesome place. We took our six year old here today and they were so great with her. Jessi spoke with her first and even though my girl was shy, Jessi was great! The shop is extremely clean, has a beautiful selection of jewelry, and everyone was very professional. As a parent, I can appreciate their requirements to pierce a child’s ears. Matt was great and patient with my daughter and she did great! We walked out with both of her ears pierced! I would highly recommend them.

I took my 7 (almost 8) year took get her first ear piercing. I could not have imagined a better experience for both us us. I just had my first piercing yesterday, and the experience was easy, relaxed, and professional. Matt pierced my nose; he was incredibly knowledgeable and thorough about explaining the entire process, and took the time to answer all of my questions in detail. I have to say I was quite nervous, especially about going alone (I have a history of feeling faint around needles) but my mind was totally put at ease by his calming presence. After a terrible experience at another piercing/tattoo shop - I had to remove said piercing because my skin was just so irritated and I think the jewelry quality was not that great, I was referred by a friend to look into Freyja! Clean, professional and welcoming! My 7-year-old daughter had her ears pierced at the mall a year ago and they didnt heal so we let them close. This time we went with the professionals and the experience was great. Matt was so sweet and gentle with her, talking her through each step and giving her autonomy over the situatjon. Be prepared to shell out a pretty penny though. It was much more expensive than a mall situation, but Im happy to know she has hypoallergenic and properly sterilized jewelry in those ears after her first reaction.

I loved the atmosphere at Freyja. When I walked in, I was instantly blown away by how clean and neat the studio was. I even went to the restroom which was fresh and clean! Everyone was so welcoming from the customers to the staff. Chris was AMAZING! I really appreciated how patient he was with me when I was trying to figure out what jewelry I wanted and what piercings I wanted. I also appreciated how knowledgeable he was. He made sure that I piercing I received somewhere else got the proper jewelry to heal. The guest piercer, Mason, also provided a ton of information about the materials of the jewelry. All of the jewelry in the shop was of very high quality!When it came to the piercing, Chris was very gentle and very quick. I got a jewelry change on an irritated daith piercing, a helix piercing, and a love piercing. Chris used the anatomy of my ear and placed the piercings beautifully. I am so excited for my one month check in and can’t wait to see how these beautiful piercings heal.I would definitely recommend the shop to ANYONE!

I visited Freyja Piercing & Fine Jewelry today after months of talking with Matt over social media. I found him after searching for an APP certified piercer and he was the closest to me. Seriously, if you don’t know what the APP is, please look into it. These piercers are the very best in the business and are highly educated. You don’t have to deal with janky jewelry or terrible placement. Anyway, I was super excited to meet Matt in person and was so thrilled to see his gorgeous shop, which is seriously cleaner than my dentists office, the jewelry selection is incredible, and the staff is super friendly, warm, and I felt like I was talking with friends while I was there. I picked out a beautiful 5 gem cluster for my conch and it was back to the piercing room. Matt was incredibly thorough explaining the entire process, from sterilization, to placement, to aftercare. I have never had a piercing done so professionally or left being so happy. You will not find a better piercer, I promise you. I’m so happy Matt opened Freyja and I cannot wait for my next piercings!!!

The staff at Freyja are all so knowledgeable and passionate about doing right by their patients. My sister and I came in for piercings and they were absolutely wonderful. When my sister returned home to NY and had an issue with her piercing after accidentally hitting it, they were able to advise her on what to do and directed her to trusted piercers near her for follow up. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them.

Hands down, the best piercing studio there is. I have been working with Matt and Jess since before they opened Frejya, and I was happy to follow them to their new studio. Aside from stellar piercing work, they have phenomenal customer service and ensure their clients are safe and satisfied well after they leave the studio. Extremely nice! Beautiful jewelry selection (expensive, but I prefer quality and dont mind), and very focused on good piercing practices. I have had 9 piercings done there in the past 18 months and have had a great experience every time (3 appointments). Most recent piercings were inflamed and swollen after I accidentally hit them, and they had me come in and switched to longer posts for free. They very clearly care about having a good experience and customers being happy long term w/ piercings. I highly recommend this place to everyone interested in things from first ear piercings for kids, to complicated body mod.

Best piercing shop on the east coast! They have an amazing selection of jewelry and extremely knowledgeable and patient staff. They take their time with you & answer all of your questions before piercing you. Everything is extremely sterile & they use disposable equipment so there’s no risk of dirty piercing tools. The studio itself is extremely clean and comfortable as well. They have an awesome rewards program as well! The piercers really know their stuff and they pierce freehand which is so much more comfortable for the client. They’re also so quick & gentle you don’t even realize the piercing is done. They also do follow ups with you on your piercings to make sure it’s healing well. Overall, I would recommend them to anyone from first timers to seasoned piercing clients.

This is the BEST most educated and clean piercing shop I’ve ever been to. I’ve gotten many piercings, and I feel I learned way more about aftercare and my new piercing than I ever had before. Chris was my piercer for a female genital piercing. He gave advice and input as to the different ones I could get and the ones that wouldn’t work with my body. There are SO many things that go into making sure you’re choosing the right piercing place. As someone with a huge phobia of needles, I make sure to do a deep dive of any shop that will be shoving needles into my face to make sure it’s the least scary experience I can manage. Fantastic service! The whole experience was great. I got a helix and a lobe piercing, both done by Chris, and then got Matt for a check up, also really nice. I loved that they take the time to explain everything (sanitation protocol, the process, after care.. everything really), and then respond to all your questions, and then more. Everyone is super awesome at Freyja! It’s a convient two minute walk from my work so within a two weeks of finding out where they are, I already have two piercing done by Matt and plan to get a few more! I’m super paranoid about cleanliness and their setup is BY FAR the cleanest place I’ve ever been to! The whole process was super easy from picking out a nice high quality piece of jewelry to fit my piercings and life style, to the actual piercing process. Matt talked me through the whole thing, let me ask questions as I needed to. They even have you come in for one and two month check ups JSU to make sure everything is healing like it should and they make themselves available to answer any questions outside of the shop. Overall, I won’t hesitate to come back or recommend this place to everyone I know!

Absolutely so happy with my naval piercing! The shop is so clean and well kept. Matt talked me through everything about the piercing and relieved all my worries and concerns. The staff helped me find the perfect jewelry for my piercing that fit my body best. I found it so helpful, that the staff didnt let me pick just any jewelry, but something that would work best for me and my needs. I have been a fan of Matts for years and was so excited when he started his own shop! Ive had him do two of my piercings. My daughter has had 3, and Ive referred half a dozen other people. The shop is immaculate and both Chris and Matt are THE most professional piercers I have ever met. Do not hesitate to make the trip to Freyja.

How this place isnt 5 stars instead of 4.9 is beyond me. I read some of the negative reviews, and it is IMO those people are lying (competitors?) just to put up a bad review.Is Freyja expensive, yes they are. You are paying for quality. The shop is super clean! The staff very friendly! And everyone of them experienced piecers. Ive spent enough time in tattoo parlors to know when someone knows what they are doing. These people do. Its worth the extra money. Dont short yourself on shoddy work, uncleanliness, etc.

( just a 2nd ear piercing nothing fancy)This place came up on my google maps to rate, so I am but unfortunately I can’t really rate it properly because of what happened.I called and spoke with a gentleman to get information and to make sure I had everything needed for a piercing.Sadly after drive 30 minutes to get there and waiting 2 days for the appointment, the first thing the guy asked was do you play sports, which is a yes, and was told they can not pierce my daughter’s ears. he ALSO said this is common this time of year for them not to Pierce because their policy is no sports for six weeks after a piercing. I wish the gentleman on the phone would of told me this. I mean I was literally just in the doorway and they asked about sports. It was not on the website, it would of saved me alot of time and a frustrated 13 year old.I was really sketched out because I had to upload my daughters, her certificate ID and my ID and my credit card information and then I’m told no to a piercing.Changed /add to my rating because of owner responds: I did read through all of ALL of the information listed on their website. As a parent of a athlete, I know the rules and guidelines about her having piercings for her sport and her position. Per the county and the league she plays in she is allowed to have her piercings in, and she wears a protective helmet so why would I have a question about if it is allowed, I already did my research on that end. I tried to explain that and what I got in response was YOUR insurance does not allow you to pierce. NOT ABOUT the safety of my child. If this is a common problem you have this time of year as I was told why would you not tell people who call about YOUR policy. I got my nose pierced here for a late birthday present and let me say, I had a great experience.I came in very nervous and shaky due to my dislike of needles. Everyone I talked with was really nice and Matt walked me through everything that he was doing. Matt talked with me about cats which is what really calmed me down. By the time he was done I realized I had worried for nothing. It was fast, and only hurt a pinch.All in all this place is amazing and I highly recommend them. Very professional and the jewelry is very nice.

I wanted to order custom bvla pieces, which drew me to Freyja, but I was not quite sure of what pieces to order and how they would work with my current piercings and jewelry. I liked that Freyja had an appointment designated as a consult (the Freyja Way), so that I could communicate with Matt about my vision and get his artistic and technical input on what would work. Jessi was friendly and really knowledgable about the jewelry, helping to ensure I could order pieces that worked with my vision and budget. The piercing process was comfortable and smooth, with Matt explaining things each bit of the way. I am so pleased with how the piercings turned out and appreciate the artistry and professionalism at Freyja.

I cant say enough good things about this studio. They are clean, comprehensive, and dont hesitate to answer any questions you may have. The two piercers I know of are both male - however, this is the only studio I would take my teenage niece to regardless of the piercing she wanted. No matter where on her body she decided to get a pericing, I fully trust the staff at Freyja to help her make decisions that will benefit her as a person, a young adult, and as a woman. I sometimes have a hard time trusting men with things in general, but I felt zero hesitation when getting my nipples pierced here. I felt respected and safe. Freyjas is worth every single penny given the atmosphere and their adherence to professionalism in every aspect of the business. Dont choose a tatt-shack over a legitimate piercing studio because you dont think its worth the extra money - it absolutely is and you wont regret making that decision.

The shop is clean, beautiful and sleek. Other than just aesthetics, everything there was above and beyond what I expected in. I got my tragus and philtrum pierced by Chris and my boyfriend got his septum. Chris was very professional, thorough, smart and knowledgeable and its evident that he loves what he does. Its not just Heres your piercing, have a nice life. They want to know you and your piercing are doing okay, so they offer follow-up appointments to check up on things. I had a few concerns about my piercings and Chris was very prompt and helpful in his reply. Cameron was amazing. He was patient, educational, and empowered my daughter. There was zero pressure which made my little one feel so comfortable. She didnt even cry! Gorgeous studio! Matt, Jessi and the team at Freyja will work with you to fulfill your piercing dreams. They are appointment only due to Covid but have an easy to use, mobile friendly site. You can also email them for any questions you have before you’re able to come in. I had some piercings that were being rejected by the skin and they were honest and told me those needed to be removed in order to protect my skin. They sell only the highest quality jewelry that won’t cause any irritation or reactions. None of my piercings from here have ever gotten the dreaded “bump” on them. I found this studio from searching the APP (Association of Professor Piercers) website and am gladly willing to drive from Virginia to this location to ensure my piercings safely heal and look great. I have been to many piercers in the DMV and Virginia and this is by far the most honest and knowledgeable piercing studio I have encountered!

I honestly cant say enough great things about Freyja. :) They have been SO kind, patient, and professional over the past few months, beginning with an incredibly perfect piercing job, to helping with aftercare through a pandemic, and taking care of my new piercings when they opened back up. Over the years I have learned to be very picky on where I get my piercings due to having bad experiences in the past. However, my experience with both Matt for mine and Chris for my husbands piercings were absolutely wonderful. They both answed all our questions and then some. Definitely on the pricier side (If youre coming from the Tattooery, expect to spend more for your jewelry) but its definitely worth the money for the professionalism and the quality of the jewelry. Freyja is amazing. I got my septum pierced by Matt; and he is so descriptive and explains everything so well. I’ve had a few ring changes just style wise and their jewelry is beautiful. I recently got a BEAUTIFUL ring that has 4 Topaz jewels, and I wasn’t able to flip it up myself for a job interview; but so thankful for Matt flipping it up for me. Took my daughter here to have her navel pierced and couldn’t be happier with the service we received. Everyone was very professional. The place was very clean and inviting. I went to see the fine people of Freyja with a problem from a piercing that I had done at another shop. They were just fabulous. Have helped me with putting in glass holders for surgeries and xrays. I can only say that everyone there is super nice, helpful and above all us concerned with your health and happiness with your piercings. The shop is incredibly clean and well taken care of. I get practically all of my piercings done by Chris! He is a phenomenal piercer; so professional and soothing. They have a lot of gorgeous jewelry to choose from that is made with 14/18k gold and real stones vs cubic zerconia. Your piercing process will go smoothly if you come here. They give you all the information you need and more for a successful piercing. I also love the honesty from Chris, not everybody can get every piercing which is great, we find things that work for me and my anatomy. The studio is gorgeous, especially the floors. It’s dedicated to piercings only so definitely swing by for a consult and/or a piercing. 10/10 recommend.

I have gotten both nostrils plus ear stretching done at Freyja. They value education, proper practice, and quality. Their piercers are always knowledgeable and they make me feel at ease. Even if you live far away (like me), this place is worth the drive.

Love love love Chris! I had a keloid on my nostril piercing and needed help. All of the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Chris changed out my pronged jewelry for a flatter piece that wouldnt get caught on things. He also changed out all my earrings to higher quality jewelry and gave me a really cohesive, clean look. The facility was super clean and the table was very comfortable. I will absolutely be back in the future.

I currently have 11 piercings, the majority of which have been performed by Chris! He is such a friendly and knowledgeable individual. Definitely recommend! If the prices are a bit higher than what you’re accustomed to, you must remember that piercings are body modifications. Freyja has very high quality jewelry and equipment to ensure that your healing process goes as smoothly as it can! I had been pierced with mediocre quality jewelry which caused a much longer healing period with mild irritation. Once I went to Freyja to get that jewelry replaced I could both feel and see the difference in my piercings - my hypertrophic scars are way less noticeable and the swelling and irritation has pretty much gone away. I sound like an infomercial but I kid you not - quality of jewelry matters!

This is the cleanest business space you will enter during the pandemic (and it comes with the nicest people!).

I am obsessed with this place! The quality, friendliness, and above all the knowledge is out of this world!! This shop deserves every 5 star rating on here. I was brought here because Chris pierced my orbital at a previous location; I came in mainly for a check up, but really couldnt resist buying a new ring after seeing their selection. I havent worked with the other staff (though Im sure theyre just as amazing) but Chris is an absolute sweetie- really couldnt ask for more professionalism and knowledgeability. So happy this place opened, cant wait for my next piercing :)

Matt is wonderful. My first piercing ever was my septum and was done by Matt. He made everything easily understandable and as safe as possible. He explained the whole process which eased my nerves and explained aftercare well. My septum healed wonderfully and without complication. I would 100% have more piercings done here if I still lived in the area.

Chris pierced myself and much cousin and did my helix jewelry change. He’s patient(answered a million questions), friendly, quick and experienced. I almost never write reviews but I was so pleased. They have a wonderful jewelry selection and they are very sterile. My piercing barely hurt and unlike my other piercings no bleeding. I’m not even sore. I won’t go to anyone else and looking forward to my next piercing already lol.

Freyja carries an excellent line of beautiful jewelry and staff create a welcoming, friendly, and relaxed atmosphere. They are experts in both the aesthetic AND the medical side of things. Both the front of the store (where the jewelry is) and the piercing rooms are super clean and they pay a lot of attention to making the piercing process as safe as possible.

Finally got to visit Freyja after following piecer Matt from his old place of work. Amazingly gorgeous and clean studio with friendly staff, very open space but private piercing areas. The piercers talk through everything in the process and are always available to answer more questions/help out even after you’ve left the studio. They have a rewards system too for your spending, so if you’re a piercing or jewelry collector, this is awesome!!

My immune system is not the best, so I purposefully wanted to find a place taking COVID-19 seriously and the staff at Freyja helped me find just that. They responded to my fittyleven emails about safety protocols and when the time came they followed through.For the piercing itself, I got my septum pierced with Cameron and it was a a good experience! Cameron made me feel comfortable with this being my first nose/face piercing, took the time to help me pick something out and did check-ins along the way. The piercing itself was quick, sterile, and is healing nicely. 10/10 will do again lol

I cannot recommend this shop enough! We worked with both Jessie and Chris for our six year-old daughters ear piercings and everyone showed the most care and professionalism with both us and her. Chris was very kind and made sure she knew that if she was uncomfortable or scared, they could stop at any time. This place is fabulous. You walk in and the clean, modern aesthetic is a refreshing change from the normal tattoo parlor where I used to get pierced. The selection of jewelry is great, with a lot of natural stones and swarovski crystals.My first piercing here was my snug, which is a notoriously difficult piercing to heal. Before committing to my piercing Matt took a look at the anatomy of my ear to make sure it would work. The piercing itself was one of the easiest out of my 15 piercings. They were good about explaining after care and a follow up to see how it is healing is included.A few weeks later, but before my scheduled follow-up, my piercing looked pretty gnarly. I was able to communicate via email and text and they told me to come in. While they started me in a long enough barbell, my ear had swollen more than normal. Matt replaced the barbell with a longer one for free. I was expecting quite a bit of pain, having had to experience swelling beyond jewelry before. It was a tiny pinch and done. I was thrilled at how immediately the discomfort was relieved. And that they didnt charge anything and just wanted to help the piercing heal.I love how responsive and upfront they are at this store. Theyre more than willing to give you their honest opinion upon request. And I am currently in the process of ordering a custom piece, which they do a lot of. If you dont see what you want for jewelry, they will help you figure out how to get what you want. I love it. And the people are all more than willing to spend time explaining and tweaking. Took my daughter to get ears re-pierced after they were infected and closed several years ago. I appreciated the time they took to evaluate her and talked us through the entire process (only one actually needed to be re-pierced). It was more expensive than some kiosk in a mall- but you get what you pay for. I feel 100% confident that this piercing experience will turn out better than before. They treat even lobe piercing with utmost care. So glad we came! Thanks Chris for the great experience!

I absolutely love this place. Chris and Matt have been amazing through the whole piercing process from standing behind their jewelry sizing and changing out a post that my body didn’t like. I’m 11 and I finally decided to get my ears pierced. At the beginning I was very nervous and started to cry.😩 I had the piercer Chris and they were so nice and understanding. They also have me a chance to see how it felt before they pierced me. They were also very patient with me and said I could back out at any time. Another thing was that they were very calming and reassuring. I spent almost 300$ dollars but it was so worth it. AMAZING customer service. They also walk you through the whole process. Matt gave me a custom industrial to work with my glass and ear anatomy. Extremely clean, fast, professional and knowledgeable. When I went back in for a bar downsize, he explained everything and took great precautions during Covid-19. I absolutely recommend them, especially for getting your first piercing or after a bad experience with a piercing.

I had my lip piercings redone after having less than quality service elsewhere a bit over a year ago. I am so happy that I went with Freyja this time around.I moved here a little more than 2 years ago and I passed Freyja daily, always wanting to go in. I already knew that it was a place that I would end up one way or another, someday. And that day finally came! And its worth all of the dramatisism in this review because these were more than just piercings to me, they were a part of myself that I had lost during a really difficult life transition. I made an appointment super easy online and day of I came in and was immediately greeted. I worked with Rose who worked with me in seeing what could work best with my ear anatomy, as I have wanted my daith done for a while I decided on that. They then helped me pick out jewelry for both my fresh piercing and a healed one. The piercing process was very sanitized and quick. I felt comfortable and confident in Rose as a piercer and they helped make sure I stayed calm all the way through. Im so happy and thankful for Freyjas. Great work. Great environment. I’ve been going to Matt for over 4 years now. I’ve had at least 10 piercings myself and I’ve brought both of my children to him. He’s extremely professional, skilled, honest and an all around great person to talk to. I know that when I’m thinking of a new piercing, he won’t just do it to take my money. I don’t know where to start with this AMAZING experience! Everyone on staff is wonderfully kind, patient and caring. They took the time to explain everything about a piercing that had some issues and I left with new piercings and beautiful jewelry. Chris was absolutely perfect and I know I was in the best hands in the business! Mason held my hand during a very intense removal of jewelry and then we giggled as we watched Drunk History to distract me from the pain 🤣Dont worry... I did not hurt his piercing hand! I will never go anywhere else ever again!

Best piercing experience Ive had! Everyone was appropriately covid cautious and the sanitizing of needles/jewelry was the best Ive seen. I got a conch piercing with Chris and it was virtually painless. He was very helpful picking out jewelry and walking me through the whole process. The entire staff was friendly and very knowledgable. Definitely ONLY coming here from now on for piercings and jewelry changes!

Where to even start? Everything about Freyja is amazing!!! Just simply walking into their establishment you can tell you’ve made the right choice! Absolutely love this place. The shop is gorgeous, marble floors and ridiculously clean. They have quality jewelry and take the time to ensure the jewelry and the piercing area are sanitized. I came to them after a horrible septum piercing experience at another place. Chris made sure my septum was perfect (and since I have a pretty bad deviated septum, he took his first try out and redid it, which I feel is amazing. He wouldn’t let me walk out of the shop until he and myself were fully satisfied it was straight and done right). They answer your questions via social media quickly. Going back to get my daith done this weekend. I will never go to another place for a piercing. So happy with my piercings!

Where do I even begin. This is by far my favorite place to go. Very clean place and very professional. All my piercings are from here. Matt has always been the person I go to. I’ve been going to him for a very long time. His team is so friendly. They do an amazing job making sure u feel welcomed and comfortable. Hands down you need to go here if you haven’t.

I came in and got my ear lobes gauged to a pretty substantial size and the operation was professional and clean. I was made aware that all of the tools being used were sterilized and it was made clear to me how the next week after the piercing would look. It is an extremely relaxed environment but in a very professional way. In addition to great on site service, any questions I had were answered confidently and promptly. The staff is friendly and welcoming and it is an all around great environment. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Overall a very professional- yet relaxing, and comfortable experience. Chris explained to me what he was doing step-by-step... from sanitizing and sterilizing the jewelry + needle to putting the jewelry in my fresh piercing. The environment was also very clean and I especially enjoyed the many beautiful pieces to choose from.

I don’t just give five stars out easily, but this place deserves nothing less then! I have had and have several piercings, but have honestly never had the experience I’ve had at Freyja. Originally I had my mind on going to “Maria Tash” for a piercing but that’s in NY and wanted something quicker. So while perusing different tattoo/piercing combo shops per the usual, I came across “Freyja.” I was floored, with first seeing that this was an exclusive piercing shop only, which is not typical! It had a lively minimalist design aspect which I loved, their large array of jewelry and how they carried high name brands of jewelry. It is the cleanest place I’ve seen doing this type of work..well frankly better then my doctor’s office. I went in at a great down period time and got lucky I was the only person in the shop! Jessi greeted me upon entering and once I told her I was interested in a nose piercing she got right to work on finding the perfect piece of jewelry for me and explaining all the details. Chris was my piercer, he rocks and holds the personal title for me of the best piercer I’ve had. He was so fast and efficient I didn’t have time to even realize any pain lol. Can’t wait to come back for my follow up and get another new replacement piece for another piercing I had. This is definitely the only place I will be going for piercings in the future!

Easily my favorite piercing place. My sister in law, mom in law, and I walked in and asked them eight billion questions and they were incredible, patient, and so knowledgeable. Ive been looking for a new navel ring for years and finally found one worth spending the money on. I also got a double forward facing helix that healed beautifully, which is not always the case with my sensitive skin. Seriously, dont bother going anywhere else! This is the place to get pierced and find jewelry :)

Absolutely LOVED this place! Matt, Chris, and Jessi were so sweet, patient, and extremely knowledgable. It was an experience unlike any other piercing place I’ve been to. I felt thoroughly taken care of and valued. They were each so funny and just had a plethora of knowledge and expertise. Not to mention the jewelry selection was vast and GORGEOUS. Will be coming back VERY soon and bringing even more friends than I already did! 10000% recommend!!

I had a piercing done by Chris three weeks ago. The process was quick and as painless as I could imagine a piercing being. He explained every step and lent calmness while my two young children watched the process. Freyja also has the best selection of fine jewelry Ive ever see in a parlor. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Excellent experience getting my teenage daughter’s nose stud piercing. The studio is fastidiously clean and upscale. The staff and owner could not be nicer or happier to answer (newbie) questions. Will definitely travel farther than necessary from home to give repeat business to Freyja Piercing.

Matt is truly amazing. He explained to me the process of his sterilization and procedures. He even explained what piercings would work with my body type. I also went back for a check up on my new piercing. He really cares about his customers and I highly recommend him. I wont go any where else!

I have never had such an AMAZING experience at a piercing place/jeweler. Most of these kind of shops don’t care about the quality of the jewelry they sell or how well they pierce you, they just want you in and out. Not these guys!!!! Every single person on this staff is SO SO kind, genuine, and seriously care so much about the health of your piercings and quality of jewelry. They spent hours with my best friend and I after they clearly had a long day, and helped change out two of my most difficult and incorrectly pierced (by someone else) piercings. Matt and Jesi both gave suggestions on what they thought would be the best jewelry for me. Matt changed my conch and daith rings, and gave me his suggestions on what I should do to watch it heal best. I just feel so happy after this experience and will continue to go to these guys over the years to get more HIGH quality beautiful jewelry, and some great conversation!!!!

I stumbled across the listing for Freyja Piercing and Fine Jewelry over the Labor Day holiday weekend when I got the notion to give myself a post-breakup liberation gift. I made an appointment online with Chris via the website (super easy) and came in at the confirmed time the next day.From the second I walked in, I loved how clean and calm the space was--its almost spa-like. I was greeted immediately and he and Jessi got to work walking me thru the process, costs, everything. They made sure to check if I had any questions, but they were so thorough, I dont think I had any.Now, I was there for some rather intimate piercings, which require a bit of an examination and evaluation to make sure that my anatomy was well-suited to what I wanted. It could have been awkward, but it wasnt. Chris was very careful to let me know what he was doing at all times and there was never a point where I was even remotely uncomfortable. They really work overtime to make sure that you have input every step of the way and that the outcome is what you want.The piercing itself was easy peasy and I left ridiculously happy. Im a few days out now and Im still over the moon. No issues to report, but they like for you to come in periodically for checks to make sure that everything is healing properly (at no cost). Ive never had another piercer recommend that. Its even more of a testament to the care that they use in their work.Cost-wise, its a bit more expensive than what youd pay at your average tattoo/piercing shop. But its completely worth it for the piece of mind, level of comfort, and the results. Id recommend them in a heartbeat and if Im inclined to get more hardware, Ill be right back at Freyja with Chris.

I highly recommend Matt and his wonderful team! The level of professionalism is supurb and I feel like they always go above and beyond. I went to Freyjas note 100% sure what I wanted to have pierced, but Matt was able to look at my ears and face, and planned the best piercing that would work on me. They helped me pick out beautiful jewelry and allowed me to express myself through the jewelry. The whole piercing process was easy and sanitary, and I will go no where else for piercing from now on.

I really appreciated how my piercer, Cameron, made sure I UNDERSTOOD fully every part of my piercing process, he even told me every step he was taking to ensure everything was sterilized and showed me the sterilization process to completion.Before he did anything I was informed and included in the process — this was outside of the decision making process for my piercing, which was the only part of the process I was used to being included in for past piercings. So I was REALLY appreciative of the fact that every part of their process was inclusive to me. It truly built that trust and relationship factor.But let me back up for a quick second and tell you how BEAUTIFUL their building is, from the tile floors to the chandeliers, it was truly high class service and offerings. I literally went in knowing what type of jewelry I wanted but when I saw ALL their options I was like “omggggg” because it was soooo many other beautiful things to choose from, I was in jewelry heaven haha.Now, continuing back on to my appointment. My piercer, Cameron, was fantastic! As you already know. I literally trusted him with where to put my nose piercing because of the rapport we had built prior to the service. And this was my second piercing on the same side of my nose and it did not hurt at alllll.I’ve literally been thinking about what else I should get pierced just to go back there because I just really had such a great time!!!If you’re thinking about going, GO! I got my navel piercing done a few weeks ago and it looks great! Chris was so professional and he made sure everything was sterile before walking me through the process! I also love how you get to pick out which piece of jewelry you want for the piercing, since some places won’t allow you to have as many options especially for the navel.

I cannot recommend this place enough. Cameron was extremely professional and made me feel so comfortable. He explained everything he was doing, what to expect and asked multiple times throughout if I had any questions at all. The jewelry was sterilized in front of me and the studio was very clean. Everyone was extremely kind and I cant wait to get back and get some cute jewelry!

This place is AMAZING and all of the staff are just as impressive. I was a little skeptical about getting a piercing during COVID transitions but the professionalism and cleanliness of this establishment put all of my worries at ease. I was given very clear and detailed instructions on what to do and what my experience would be like from the very beginning. I even had the opportunity to speak with the staff and ask as many questions as I needed to before I booked my appointment.I would absolutely recommend this place and if I ever decide to get another piercing, will definitely return.

Freyja is the best place to get professional piercings by certified specialists, Matt Buonantuono, is awesome. My wife and I have been taken cared of for 5+ years. I will never go to another piercing shop! My sister and I saw Chris for nostril piercings and he seriously made the experience stress-free. We were quite scared and he was so calm and gentle and explained the whole process and before we knew it, we were finished. We will absolutely be coming back!!!

I chose this location because of the great reviews. They are very thorough and take extreme care in their cleanliness and sanitation procedures. I have never been to a piercing place that was as thorough, sanitary patient, and knowledgeable. I look forward to getting my next piercing here as well.

I am still in the car in front the building typing this lol I’ve had the best experience! Omg this place and the people here are amazing. I came to freyja piercing to fix my septum (another piercer) messed up on and I didn’t feel anything 0 pain and it’s placed PERFECTLY. Everything is cleaned and high quality here my piercer was the kindest funniest person I’ve met he made me feel so at ease and comfortable he also talked me threw every single thing I need to know before an after. I have a total of 12 piercings and this was my best experience over all. Thank you freyja piercings I will see you soon! ❤️

Came here on the recommendation of a surgeon who got a cartilage piercing and had nothing but fantastic things to say. The professionalism started at the front door and continued through the process. I am a physician and work around sterile procedures all day long; the team at Freyja would be at home in an operating room with the awareness and thoroughness they put into their craft. Fantastic service and people.

Just had my tragus pierced by Matt last week. I had a great experience especially with the Covid restrictions. Matt was quick to respond to questions via email, lovely jewelry selection, honest guidance regarding piercing placement, clear communication during the appt and after care instructions. Can’t wait until this tragus heals so I can go back to Freyja for my next piercing!
