Fantastic shop. Studio setup makes you feel right at home and the traditional Japanese work is superb. All 3 artists are excellent at what they do, and each has their own unique style of Japanese imagery.

This place is great. Everyone is really down to earth and chill. Chuy is the man. We just finished my first 6 hour session. I cant wait to start the next session.

Getting both sleeve done. Chuy is my go to but the whole staff is amazing.

Jiro is amazing! The shop is awesome, everyone that works there is a premiere artist. Ive been going there since 2011, and the work Ive gotten is better than any tattoo shop Ive seen! They also do handpoke tattoos by Taka, he is amazing as well.I wouldnt go anywhere else

Currently working on a 3/4 sleeve piece with Jiro. Im in the military so its somewhat difficult for me to schedule appointments, but theyre very understanding of my situation. Onizuka Tattoo has some of, if not the best traditional Japanese tattoo artists. All of the staff is very friendly. Jiro is always making sure I am comfortable and plays great music. Ive already gotten a ton of compliments on my tattoo. I am always super excited to go and get work done and never feel intimidated or anxious.

I couldnt be happier!! Jiro is a phenomenal artist! I have always wanted a tattoo, but could never commit to a design or didnt have the money/time. I had money and time, so I decided to get a tattoo symbolizing two things im absolutely crazy about; my kids and Square Enix. I may not look like it, but I think even a Japanese person would say that im otaku. Jiro was very patient even though I probably came off a little crazy. He really listened to me and it shows. I have spent quite literally thousands of hours playing Final Fantasy and other Square Enix games (turn based JRPGs are the bomb when you have kids!!!). I love the characters in their games almost as much as I love my children. So this tattoo, although very small, is incredibly meaningful to me. Jiro, you not only did characters (in this case moogles) you had never seen justice, you brought them to life in a completely different medium. I cant thank you enough. I now have ideas for other tattoos, so hopefully I will see you again! (sorry for the bad photo there shouldnt be a brown spot. its hard taking a picture of your own arm)

My friend recently had a tattoo appointment here and he loved the outcome. While I was waiting for him, the staff was courteous and offered me drinks and reading material, which was nice. The shop was clean and organized, I have truly nothing but good things to say.

Simply the best, its been 2 years since I did my 2 tattoos with Taka, they keep getting brighter and more brillant. The white colors on bith mine and my wifes tatoos are stunning !

Great place friendly crew. Horitaka does the traditional handpoke and he does an amazing job even though your forking out some dough but this place is as close to Japan as your gonna get here.

If you want Japanese traditional tattoo irezumi, this is the place!! Especially If youre Japanese or looking for that authentic Japanese tattoo, you cant go wrong here, they carry the Japanese spirit in this shop!! And you can also get traditional Tebori by the one and only LA HoriTaka 🙏

Just finished my sleeve and it looks great! Jiro was totally awesome giving me advice throughout the whole process! Definitely coming back again!

Knowledgeable, friendly service. Hori Taka knows tradition, his craft, and stays true to his work. His tebori work will look better than any gun work and hurts far less.

Had my quarter sleeve done by Taka. Constantly stopped in the street by people telling me how awesome the tattoo is and who did it. Quality work all around. These guys are legit.

This is an odd place. Went for a quote and they denied my service during business hours. Dont waste your time.
