This is a great shop with am inviting atmosphere. Chris is one of the best in the state but he also has great apprentice Named Justin who does a great Job. I highly recommend this place to anyone

I originally was referred here to see Chris flynn for my first and only custom quarter sleeve. chris told me what i wanted was more geared to his business partner jason hunt. I emailed 3 concepts i wanted blended and i was extremely happy with the result. my chiropractic patients today have commented on how nice and detailed my tatoo is. this was my first and only tatoo and it is awesome. Jason was very personable, professional and truly a master of his craft. he took the concepts i had and blended them together to something i had not envisioned... his version is much nicer. Took my niece to get her ears pierced and Lenna was so calm and helpful even when my niece started to cry and was unsure. Leena was absolutely wonderful and I highly recommend her!

Over the past 3 years Ive gotten 5 tattoos at touch of grey, all beautiful peices. I get nothing but compliments on, Also have had the pleasure of meeting the owner chris flynn, hands down a genuine dude. Best shop around highly recommend. Super chill environment, easy to work with.

Ive been going to ToGT for many years now and have thousands of dollars worth of art from this studio on me and have purchased gift certificates and birthday tattoos for family members as well. Chris Flynn has been working on an incredibly detailed fantasy sleeve for me for years and I get compliments on it daily The last section was Totoro and the time before that was Falkor; look them up on his page! Youll see the amazing work he does! I have work from when Bella was there too and Ill definitely be going to her for different styles as well because he trains amazing apprentices. Its always been a very professional but relaxed environment and everything is incredibly clean. Ive never had a single issue with my tattoos from there and havent even needed touch ups! I cant wait to save up more money and make my next appointment!

I reached out to them on FB messenger about matching tattoos for my sister and I. Literally two stick figure drawings, two colors total. Inspiration photo attached, that was sent with my request. They got back to me promptly, and were willing to work us into their busy schedule. They said they charged a $250 minimum that would cover up to an hours worth of work, which seems exorbitant for most tattoo artists, especially in Gardiner, Maine. They said if I was interested, to leave a number and they would call to schedule. They never called.

I just had some work done by Erik today, following a consultation done with him the week before. I heard about him from a girl who worked at Hannaford who had a very well-done tattoo by him, and she told me about him; thus I payed him a visit. Hes a super-nice guy who is very intelligent and does excellent work; hes very passionate about what he does, and he made me feel very comfortable during my transformation. I was so satisfied doing business with him; I would highly recommend him to anyone and I would give a 6 star rating if I could lol.

Called to set up a tattoo for my wife and I, had a couple conversations, tentative plans for some available times, they never called me back. I called and left a couple messages, no returned phone calls. I would assume they only do work that they deem worthy enough to enter their shop. I guess we didnt make the cut. Best of luck!!!

My fiance and myself both got work from Gary Munkaci and watched Chris Flynn work on someone else. I havent seen better tattoo artistry in a LONG time. I will be going back to Gary for a body piece soon and my fiance is getting another piece done as well!! ALL original art, NO flash art 😍

Got absolutely ripped off by Touch of Gray. Booked an appointment to get some simple line work done around my ankle and put down a $50 deposit for the appointment. Once the artist ALREADY STARTED INKING ME, he THEN told me that he charges an extra $40-$60 for foot tattoos because he hates feet! seriously?? after all that, the price of the tattoo ended up costing $150 including the tip I gave. What I later found out is they never told me my appointment deposit went towards the tattoo expense so I ended up paying $200 for a tattoo that isn’t any bigger than an inch and a half. so not impressed. will never return.
