I am beyond grateful to have found Grit and Stone Tattoo on our venture from Indiana. It was the best vibe Ive ever experienced in a tattoo shop. We were turned away from 3 other shops for a walk-in(Thank goodness). We called to see if Manny had time for a walk in, no problem. He said give him an hour as he was finishing up another tattoo. We headed that way, arrived early, but greeted immediately and instantly knewthis is right where we belonged. He drew out 5 size options, explained why the size was important for the detail. Explained why our choice in placement may need thought out, with rationale that I appreciated. This was my 3rd tattoo, but the first time anyone took time to assure it would look great, even long term. He assured comfort during the tattoo process and made sure we had eaten prior to coming. The shop was immaculate, comfortable and conversation flowed easily during the tattoo process. Our 10 year old daughter was with us and I didnt hesitate taking her in. He joked and conversated with her as well. Check his work out on Instagram, he is a badass. We will be making our way back to NY in the future to see Manny. Thank you for an awesome experience we will never forget.

I came in as a walk in to get tattoos with my sister-in-law. Manny was amazing. You can tell he has been doing tattoos for years and is anexpert. He was realistic with us about the colors of the tattoos, sizes, and placement. He really cared about how good our tattoos would look years from now. He wanted us to get the best tattoo for the money we put in. This is my 5th tattoo and by far Manny is the best artist I have ever worked with. The shop is awesome and super clean. I will definitely be going to Grit and Stone Tattoos for more tattoos in the future.

Had been waiting a long time to get a really special tattoo, and one day finally decided I was going to get it. I stopped by Grit and Stone in hopes that by fchance he would be able to take me as a walk in. Unsurprisingly, he had someone in his chair, but told me to come back later that evening and he should be able to get me in.I didnt really expect him to give me the time of day to be honest, I sent a message to him on fb later to see if he could get me in. He responded quickly and told me to come in at a set time a day he could take me as a walk In. I was so excited! Manny was wonderful, he had a a mock up ready when I arrived and did not rush me, he worked with me u till we got the tattoo set just the way I wanted it.It turned out better than I imagined!He even reached out to me to check in after to see how my tattoo healed.Manny is such a talented artist. Im already planning and booking my next tattoo with him!!
