My kids have been waiting years to get their ears pierced and I kept saying well go when you can get them pierced by Luis. Im so glad that we waited for those stars to align. The studio is calm and clean. Everyone was friendly. The jewelry selection is beautiful. But most of all Luis is gentle and you can tell he is a teacher. He explained everything thoroughly and was patient.I have multiple piercings that Ive gotten through the years but the piercings that were done by Luis stand out in both their aesthetic and the way I felt when I got them.

I brought my grandmom here so her and I could get tattoos. Tami tattooed both of us back to back and she was amazing. She made sure we both had what we really wanted, and gave us better tattoos than our inspiration. I would recommend her to anyone.

Scheduled my daughter for an ear piercing appt. with Luis. Good selection of high quality jewelry. Luis was very knowledgeable and took his time to make sure she was comfortable and understood all the aftercare instructions. She decided to do a double lobe piercing that day and is already talking about a helix piercing, will definitely be scheduling with Luis!

I am absolutely delighted with my tattoo by Mike Wolfinger. It is exactly what I wanted, and every time I see it, I smile a little. Which is a big deal considering its a memorial tattoo! It healed quickly and well. Only my 3rd tattoo in 30 years but the best experience by far. I expect the 4th will be coming soon. Thank you so much.

I can not say enough positive wonderful things about 12 oz studios. Kenny and Maggie are the receptionists. They always greet you with a smile. They are very pleasant and polite. Megan Patrick is my artist. She is very sweet and very personable. Her artistic vision is absolutely amazing. I like full vibrant color and she does not disappoint. She takes the time to listen and really understands the direction of what you would like done . She does a lot of research and takes her time drawing up an absolute amazing perfect tattoo. .She has done three tattoos on me. We are now working on a very difficult cover-up. We have one session done and it already looks 100% better. We have two more to go. I am excited to see the final outcome. Then we will be moving on to my next piece. I am excited and look forward to all my future tattoos with Megan Patrick. Highly recommend.

I would not recommend coming here for a first piercing or any piercing in general. The atmosphere with the piercer Luis Garcia was very hostile, condescending, and intimidating especially for people who have anxiety or are nervous. He was very rude and angry.I came here on my birthday to pierce my nostril I felt like the placement was off and I told him if he could move it to the right he told me that he couldn’t go “right” he could only go forwards, back, etc… I was confused on directions he was giving me and tried to explain to him but he cut me off multiple times and I still wasn’t getting it instead of trying explain he just raised his voice and repeated himself and when it didn’t work he got visibly upset and raise his voiced and repeated it again as if it would work he was condescending throughout the whole experience. He made smart condescending remarks with a lot of attitude when I was concerned about bleeding he said “yea that happens on human days”and before that got mad that I didn’t think the placement was correct and blamed me for making him late to his other appointments I can honestly say I was 5-10 minutes late but once I got there we had to wait about 20-25 minutes for him to pierce me. I came here last year for a piercing everything was ok he was still condescending and hostile but wasn’t necessarily rude the process was smooth seemed hygienic and the price was reasonable so I’m not sure what happened this time. I don’t know if he is the owner or not but his behavior was not professional at all and he should work on getting over his personal feelings on his own time and not take his frustration and insecurities out on the clients who are getting permanent things done to their body. He rushed the process and didn’t properly close the piercing I had to take the bottoms piece off and close it properly on my own at home. Both times the receptionist were really nice and welcoming I’ve only had a problem with him.

Love coming here, just got my third tattoo last night, second time coming to 12 oz. Everyone who works here is nice and professional, but they know how to make a nice tattoo and have fun while doing it. Pricing is fair and they do some awesome work. Highly recommend.

Amazing, easy experience. Drove over from Pittsburgh to receive a surface piercing from Luis and it was 100% worth it. Very calming and quick with his technique. Definitely planning on taking another trip out to get more work done!

12oz studios was great start to finish! I messaged them with questions for ear piercing for my niece on Facebook and they responded quickly. Calling to schedule an appointment was easy. I’m not sure who I spoke to on the phone but they were professional and talked through everything with me and booked the appointment/ deposit. Maggie called to confirm that appointment and was professional and helpful with my questions. Day of the appointment (12/17). The store was clean and comfortable. We were greeted immediately. Luis was awesome with us. He talked my niece through the whole process, showed us the sterilization process. The piercing room was clean and comfortable. Luis got it done quick and easy, my niece didn’t even flinch. We will be back to Luis for any other piercings and definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good shop!

Luis is the best! I went to him back in 2017 and refuse to go to anyone else. So happy he’s in jersey now! He’s so professional, thorough, and quick. He explains everything so well and walks you through the whole process and placement. Not to mention he’s super sanitary and the entire shop was very clean! Already booked my next visit!

Had an amazing rook piercing done by Luis Garcia! I chose him due to his many years of experience and work within the APP and his professionalism and knowledge really came through. He walked me through everything he was doing which I really appreciated, and made me feel really comfortable even though I was super nervous (the piercing didn’t even end up hurting much). Followed Luis on TikTok not realizing he was a local piercer, once I found out he was local I knew I needed to book an appointment with him for a specialty piercing. He took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure, the healing, and the risks. He is truly a professional, with years of knowledge and accumulation of techniques. He answered all of my questions without condescension and made me feel confident and safe during the procedure. He is adamant about proper anatomy and jewelry quality, and has the persons safety and comfort as a top priority. 10 out of 10 would recommend

Luis Garcia is wonderful! I had an issue with my nostril piercing getting stuck between the layers of skin on my nose. Not only was he able to get it out, but he set me up with a new piece of jewelry and educated me every step of the way. I appreciated his honesty (he warned it would hurt!) and his extensive knowledge. I felt confident in all of his abilities. Booked an appointment with Luis on 2/12 to get some piercings done (I live over 2.5 hours away and knew I wanted Luis to do my piercings based off his experience alone). I wanted to get my septum re-pierced after 8 years of not having it, and was worried it couldnt be done. Luis did the consult and noted prior placement wasnt done right (which explained a lot) and I was able to get it done correctly this time. I also went to get my nipples pierced and Luis was extremely amazing at walking me through everything that was going to happen before he did it. I was quite nervous going into it, but knew I was in good hands and was very comfortable through the whole process. He was very quick, and made the process as painless as possible! I absolutely love my new piercings, and will 💯 be going back for future ones from Luis! He is very much worth the drive! The shop as well is quite clean, and the staff is very friendly. Definitely a great place to go!

I got my nose piercing jewelry changed here by Luis and he did such an awesome job! Ive been wanting to get my septum done for years, but couldnt find a place or piercer to make me feel comfortable enough to get it done. Luis did my septum, and was fantastic! His workspace was extremely clean and well organized. We went through deep breathing exercises, and talked our way through the process. I was surprised that out of all of my piercings, this was the least painful, and perhaps the easiest one to get done. Ill definitely be back to get more done by Luis.

Luis was so amazing!! I went in supper nervous about getting my nipples pierced! Of course going into this, i knew there would be pain, and he didn’t sugar coat that at all, but he promised me he would make it the best experience he could, and this he DEFINITELY delivered! He guided me through the breathing process and it was so quick! 10/10 would recommend him to anyone who’s looking to get any piercing done!!

Luis is bar none the best piercer in the Philadelphia area. Having used him at his previous place of employment, Id follow him for 90 miles to use his services. I recently visited his new shop for two new piercings and the selection of jewelry was impeccable. Luis puts you at ease and even checks up on you. after more advanced piercings to make sure things are healing correctly. Not to mention he is a long time member of the Association of Professional Piercers and is one of the best known piercers in the Northeast Region, if not the country.

Luis was incredible. He pierced my wifes nipples. Was super professional. Explained every exact step he was taking, coaching her through breathing and assured her although it wont be painless, it will be fast. Her and I are both very satisfied with his professionalism and how they came out!

Alex and his team are the best of the best. They have implemented a comprehensive line of protective measures against covid-19 and other infectious diseases. The shop is clean and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Alex took the time to understand my goals for the tattoo I wanted, and was able to add depth to the artwork that complimented and enhanced my original ideas. I am having so much fun showing off my new tattoo, and everyone that sees it in person is blown away by the quality of the work.

Deptford location- Super sketchy. Long story short… This was my first tattoo. We sat down for about 3 minutes to discuss what I wanted.. (super simple small design) showed a handful of pictures and thought we were on the same page. I was wrong about that. The design was nothing that I wanted, he drew it on WITH PEN and tattooed over that. Not only was the design wrong but he blew out so many lines and almost the entire thing has bleeding lines.When I emailed them to discuss the shoddy work they told me it was my fault and I should have stopped him.

Luis pierced my conch today and he was very professional and kind! He talked through everything he was doing and helped with the placement of my piercing, can’t wait to get pierced again. Also there is a huge selection of jewelry and its all so pretty.

A week ago, I got my septum pierced by Luis. I am very anxious when it comes to piercings, but he made me feel very safe and calm. He talked me through the whole process, and was very patient when I needed to sit for a minute after the piercing. My septum is healing well and looks great!

I loved visiting 12 oz. Studios Tattoos in Brooklawn. Chris did my tattoo and he is an incredible artist. After going to two other shops, this was my third time trying to get my tattoo corrected and Chris was the only one who made me happy with the finished product. I have plans to get a couple more and I will go no where except 12 oz. I am definitely going to recommend Chris and the shop to any one else looking to get a tattoo.

Very happy with my tattoos. Tami is an awesome artist!! My first one ever was about 8 months ago. I brought the idea and she did the design. I loved it so much I came back for a second one!! I thought my second pick for a tattoo didnt have enough pop to it so I went back to see Tami and asked what she thought. I gave her a color and she added a color and WOW!!! Ive been interested in getting my navel pierced for quite some time now. I looked through the APP website and AJ from 12oz came up as the result! I’m not comfortable getting any part of my body pierced by someone who isn’t necessarily licensed so I was happy that there was someone located nearby.I called when they opened today and booked an appointment with AJ.The minute you walk in, you automatically get the sense that these artists take their job seriously. Not only that, the studio itself is so pleasing to look at!I have dozens of piercings and tattoos yet I still get nervous as if it were my first time. AJ was extremely informative about the piercing and the jewelry due to my anatomy. He talked throughout the entire process so I didn’t have to be so anxious. To whoever is reading this, he rocks! I hope he stays because I’m definitely coming back! :)

I was there about a week ago. My younger sister and I got our first piercing by AJ and being diabetic he made sure we knew about cleaning and potential infections especially with our health. So far no infections and even with being completely booked and a full lobby with people standing they still got us settled and out pretty quickly.

I wanna start off by saying the tattoo I got looks great still does months later the only problems I have are that the tattoo I asked for and got are 2 complete different ones the one I got looks great and I saw it before I got it bit after waiting 2 months for my appointment I said whatever and went with there desine and the artist I forget his name bare said 5 words to my the entire time but his work is great lastly I feel it was just a little over priced for what I got but thats not a big deal good work is not cheap ik this review is confusing ied recoment you go here If you have a little money to spend and to make sure you get your point and idea for your tattoo across
