Luckys 13 Tattoo Shop

My mom, daughter and I went in today with no appointment and were met with patience, respect and kindness. Everyone seemed happy there and it truly showed in their work. I got a new tattoo from Ray to accent an old one and they match great. It was exactly what I wanted. My mom got her nose pierced and my daughter got her ears pierced. We were in and out in a reasonable amount of time, were charged a reasonable amount of money and walked out super happy with the results. Go check them out. Great experience all around.

Very friendly and prompt to respond to messages via social media. I can’t remember the females name but she did a great job on a funky old tattoo I need covered. Definitely recommend

I’m giving a three star as I normally have really great experiences with this shop, I’ve gotten ALL of my work done at Luckys, from piercings to tattoos, and they’re always lovely. Staff is always in a good mood and friendly, but I went in for their Friday the 13th flash tattoo sale recently and this experience was less pleasant. I understand flash sales can be a major stressor, but the staff was still very lovely! Great staff always. The artist who did my flash was even gracious enough to do a little extra piece for me, which was above and beyond, he was absolutely wonderful. The issue is he repeatedly hit the ink cap with his tattoo needle, and never changed the needle. This can lead to a dull needle, and even a barbed tip which can cause more discomfort than normal, can lead to excessive damage on the skin, and even poor looking results. I will say, you can see that my skin does look chewed up & overworked in some places, and it was quite uncomfortable to get done. I also noticed his hair had occasionally gotten into the ointment that he was using to lubricate the area in which he was tattooing, as the his hair was quite long, and the ointment was on the back of his hand, which may pose some concerns on cleanliness, but other than this I’ve never had any issues with this shop. I’m not totally in love with my results as per usual, but I still love this shop and will continue to go here for all my tattoo and piercing needs.

Ive gotten my septum done here 3 times along with my first ever tattoo and the people here are wonderful. If youre unsure or new to any of this stuff they give wonderful advice and talk you through everything. I got my first tattoo with Maddy back in February and Im still in love with it. Im hoping I can come back and set up a birthday tattoo appointment for myself, you guys are awesome

Im giving them 5 stars because the people who work there are friendly and willing to go above and beyond to help their customers. My oldest daughter got her eyebrow pieced by another person in their house. My wife asked them a question, and they gave her good advice and even told my daughter what not to do and how to take care of it. I really appreciate their help with that and will be a customer again in the near future

My favorite tattoo/piercing shop Ive been to. Ive gotten my ears pierced, my belly button pierced, and 6 tattoos all done here. Theyre very clean, the staff have such a great vibe to them, and their work is phenomenal. Also they have very affordable prices. My belly button piercing was only $30. My tattoos have stayed in tact, and they were able to do precise small needle work. I plan on continuing to come back in the future.

Luckys 13 is my go-to choice for piercings and potentially tattoos in the future!My friend and I recently had our noses pierced there, and despite the discomfort, excitement, and initial nervousness, their remarkable patience and positive attitude greatly contributed to our experience.They were just so supportive and loving and I wish I could give them all a hug! 10/10 experience for sure! Couldnt have asked for better service! Ty loves! 💚

I gave them three stars because out of all the tattoos I have had this one hurt the longest because of the persons heavy hand. I was red for two wks and I still have small red bumps that itch like crazy. I have had several tattoos but only the ones I have had done by pros are the ones I have had the worst time with. Plus I had to wait for 3 hrs to get in because they kept taking piercings and other people before us in line. Only when we were ready to walk out did we get in. The tattoo looks great but the experience sucked.

Absolutely adore this place. Was so nervous to get my first piercing and Spencer was so great! The atmosphere is so chill and the staff is wonderful. Will definitely be back.

Walked in and scheduled a tattoo here went great. Tried to schedule a tattoo after that (over the phone) and they just didnt have my appointment when I went in and then quoted me a price higher than before that was pretty steep in my opinion so I just left. They seem nice and the first experience was good, but the second try was pure dysfunction. Im guessing youre rolling the dice a bit when you walk in to see who services you.

My other review got hidden ;D2nd times the charm, apparently anyone who has a negative review has never been to the shop lolHomeboy worked on me, offered me touch ups. I came back to see what was up and he looked at me like I was there trying to scam him some how?I was asked “What’s wrong with it”well I look at it every day, there are a couple lines that aren’t very solid, shaky.Overall the tattoo is fine, but there are details on it that could be refined,Like any tattoo ever.Every artist I have ever had has offered touch up.I guess I expected him to take pride in his work, I ALWAYS tip, I’m always respectful. That’s why I walked away instead of arguing. Like I would ever let someone touch me who obviously didn’t want to do it anyways.I have been in the shop; multiple times as matter of FACT. I got the last two from grumpy, been there for a Friday the 13th special (looks like a skin rocket) a few years ago. I’ve gotten nose piercings from the female artist and the dude before her.(She actually talked bad about the placement of the last one not knowing I got it at that shop lol)Had a tip in my pocket ready to go or set up an appointment; the ink is good for Granbury but you’re better off going up to DFW for the most part.I admit I’m being harsh but there’s nothing like feeling embarrassed when you thought the artist actually cared.

Yall are both amazing. My daughter had her nose piercing stuck in her nose... and you told us to come in on a Sunday and pushed it through with no pain... thank you so much well definitely be back for some new INK for sure... Lisa & Tessa

Although it’s more on the expensive side, I’ve always had such a good experience getting a piercing done here. The staff are great at their job, and my piercings have always healed properly and relatively painlessly. Definitely recommend

Finally found someone who was careful and knows what they are doing, very kind and professional to do my septum piercing correctly, its absolutely perfect. Im so happy with it. I have gotten all my piercings done here and have had nothing but a respect and fun time. They were very informative on how to care for everything and made sure I was happy before leaving.

They were so kind and friendly, and warm to me. I was a bit out of sorts and rather nervous and wishy washy, they went out of their way to help with decision making and certainty.I really loved the fella who pierced my nose (gave me a napkin for my eyes😄) and the gal who told me to do it on the left. She was right 😂

I got 2 piercings here (nostril and industrial.) the service was great, however in march when i got the industrial, i was not told i didn’t have the anatomy, so i ended up getting raw skin on my ear. it later became blood blisters on every entry point. i got my nostril in january as an early birthday gift, and i got what appeared to be an irritation bump, a week later. not to mention that it was pierced sideways, not even straight through. after 2 months, i changed the piercing as i was told i was allowed to, in hopes it’d ease the irritation bump, but it was actually a forming keloid. now i have to get the piercing taken out because the keloid has started to bleed and pus and it hasn’t healed properly because of the piercing change. please do not come here if you’re planning on getting a piercing. they don’t even tell you if you have the anatomy or not.

I had terrible luck finding a quality tattoo artist until I met Ray. He knows his stuff! I was treated with respect and got an amazing piece! He has even fixed my bad tattoos from elsewhere. He is patient with me when I struggle to articulate my concept. I wont go anywhere else. Everyone in the shop is relaxed and friendly. I have a blast every time I walk through the door. The problem I have is finding room on my body for more ink.

Hands down 10/10!!! The woman that did my nose piercing was amazing and helped me make sure I knew exactly what was going to happen and after the piercing was done, she walked me through step by step on how to care for it! So friendly and funny and everything was pristine and so very clean and sterile. Will be returning for future services! Thank you so much!!!

My husband and I came in to get tattoos to celebrate getting married. Ray did my flowers, and Maddy did Ryans wolf. They did an amazing job! Everyone there had great energy and made our experience very comfortable. Clean place, professional, talented artists and great people. Cant wait to come back!

Came here yesterday with my sister to get a tattoo. I went to a different shop that was super rude first. We called here and once we came through the door they were super nice and welcoming! They made us feel comfortable and did exactly what we wanted! Amazing work! Definitely would recommend!

I went in today to make some image adjustments. Basic piercings and discussed getting tattoos. The staff is very friendly and helpful and very good. I had my left ear pierced in 1998 at Clares and they used a piercing gun. It hurt a little when they did it. And my ear was irritated for a couple of days. Today the lady that did my ears it was virtually pain free and my ears did not start their usual throbbing at all. The price for what you get done is very reasonable. I am getting my first tattoo and they explained everything very well. Definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to do any body art . I can’t say enough. Thank you.

Went in before Christmas and got a piercing and my hubs tattoo. Great atmosphere and experienced staff. I had other tats done here years ago and I’ve never had a bad experience or tattoo. And the prices are so reasonable for amazing work.

I can not speak for the tattoos here, only piercing. The people who work here are super nice. The place does seem to be very clean as well. The lady who pierced my daughters nose, sadly wouldnt recommend. Her nose got infected about a week after & she had to take it out. After talking to friends they too had the same experience with piercing & the girl.

Chazie did my tattoo. She did an awesome job. My Husband had his tattoo done by a.k.a Grumpy. He did a wonderful job as well. First time to go there and we will definitely be back. We highly recommend this tattoo shop.

We came in from out of town for a mother/daughters weekend and this was our first stop to get matching tattoos. Maddy and Grumpy were great, especially with the 3 out of 5 of us being tattoo virgins. We highly recommend this place!!

Lucky 13 is a very clean establishment for piercings and tattoos. Chazie is one of the best tattoo artist out there. When your sitting in her chair, she makes you feel like family. The work she does is amazing. When your under her wings, she worries about you and your pain of the tattoo. But I can say I usually fall asleep during tattoos since they are therapeutic to me. So if anyone is looking for a great place with great staff and atmosphere then Go On Down To LUCKY 13. They wont do you wrong. And be sure to ask for Chazie if she available if not they have many other great artist there.

My husband got a tattoo of our 6-year-olds Spongebob/Patrick drawing from Grumpy. He paid special detail to the parts where our kid drew a bit out of the lines, and didnt fully color them in in parts. This really amped up the personalization and authenticity for the tattoo, and its perfect. Shop is clean, artists are cool, it was a great experience. Thanks so much, Grumpy!

The work is decent but two of the artists are just rude. I heard the two artists mocking my tattoo choice like I couldn’t hear them. You’ll get a decent tattoo here but you can get the same quality or better elsewhere.

Absolutely one of the best places to go get a tattoo whether youre experienced or a newbie... Clean open Friendly... Its a great place if you want to go with a group of friends to get them together because you can see each other or individually if you choose to they are great about suggestions and individual personalized drawings... It is the only place that I will go Chazie Ooten did mine and she is fantabulous!!!!! I never have a day that goes by that someone does not ask about the monkey that I have on my wrist that is her work... will always suggest to go see her!!! the work is great..... I have many more visits to see her because I keep thinking more and more things I want her to tat for me

I love chazie Aka Chainsaw , she is a awesome tattoo artist and gave me my very first tattoo and I was nervous but she made me feel comfortable and I cant wait for her to do my next tattoo which is very soon, I dont want any other tattoo artist to do my tattoos except for her ❤

Bad piercing. Bad advice. When my helix piercing didn’t heal right they gave me advice that contradicted everything I’ve researched. Didn’t even know the contents of the metal they were using to pierce.

All 4 of my tattoos have been done here. Place is very clean, friendly staff, good tattoos. 10/10 recommended
