Perfectly reasonable/fair pricing. Very safe and fun environment for women especially - bathroom stocked with feminine products, condoms, you name it! I was delightfully surprised, and very much enjoyed my first experience. Shout out to Lauren! See y’all next time.

Wow! What an experience. I went in with just the quote I wanted and Blair was patient, flexible, and kind with my requests on font and placement. She was also understanding, skilled, and reasonable in pricing. I LOVE how clean the lettering turned out!Tasha, the shop owner, was just dope, Period. She has that warm, welcoming energy, and makes you feel cared about and important with her “my baby” endearments. She’s engaging and truly cares about you having a positive experience at her shop. 10/10 would recommend. I finally received my first tattoo from a Black woman, at a Black woman-owned tattoo shop in my hometown. This will be my go to tattoo shop when I’m in town :)

My experience was awesome with lauren shes so talented and nice did my first tattoo exactly how i wanted it was perfect im so happy with it! her communication and friendliness is top tier i will definitely be back :) i would also like to say everyone was very friendly! the place was extremely clean and professional i was very impressed with how sanitary and well organized everything is 1000% recommend this place you all keep up the good work yall have a awesome business going :)

Definitely recommend! This place is a whole vibe from the moment you walk in the door to the time you exit. Syd was my tattoo and piercing artist and she was great! Personable, patient and quick ! Two tattoos and 3 piercing in one day, she was great. Definitely recommend her as an artist and piercer. Everyone in the shop seemed great. A must if you live in or visiting New Orleans.

I can’t recommend Art Addiction tattoo enough. I’ve gotten one piercing and two tattoos here and had great experiences with them all. I highly recommend Lauren as a tattoo artist. She’s super talented and is also really fun to chat with while getting tattooed. I have tattoos from several artists and Lauren is the only one I’ve gone back to more than once. She makes you feel comfortable and doesn’t have too heavy of a hand. My most recent tattoo from her is absolutely gorgeous and I genuinely stare at it all the time (see pic- it’s a bit blurry cause I cropped it from a picture showing all my leg tattoos). I haven’t gotten tattoos from anyone else in the shop but I’ve seen them work and talked to them while with Lauren and they’re all super talented and lovely people. Highly recommend Art Addiction if you’re looking for some dope artwork in a really comfortable and welcoming environment.

I had an amazing experience at this female, minority owned business. Tasha, the owner, is wonderful and her energy instantly makes you feel comfortable. She checked on us multiple times throughout the experience. The shop is a vibe and the playlist was so good I was able to sing through my whole tattoo experience. Sara was a very sweet, gentle and talented tattoo artist. I recommend her and this tattoo shop a million times over. The next time Im in town, I will be back!

The piercer Claudia has pierced me so many times and it has been such a pleasure every time! She’s pierced my snug, my rook, and several helix piercings on me. She has such a gentle hand for a piercer, I barely feel anything. Every one of my piercings has healed beautifully and I always go to Claudia to have my jewelry changed out as well! 10/10 would recommend!

This is absolutely my favorite tattoo shop, and I have 20+ tattoos! This phoenix was done by Saint Bill there a few years ago, and the colors are still beautiful! My bestie and I got coordinating Frog & Toad tattoos from Lauren Barrois @goldenmagtattoo. We had SO much fun. This was my third tattoo, and this is the only one I can say was an actively fun experience. Lauren is kind and helpful in addition to being a BADASS artist with impossibly dainty linework. I sent her a screenshot of a Frog and Toad image I traced and altered to have them carrying mushrooms instead of a kite, and she doctored it a little to be properly shaded and honor the style of the storybooks. Both bestie & I plan to return to Lauren at Art Addiction for more work.

My experience at Art Addiction was more than 5 stars. Super clean environment, my artist was very professional and executed my design perfectly I loved everything about this place, the owner made this experience even better and all the artists and piercer were very friendly. I will be coming back again, happily.

We got septum piercing and a nose piercing, it was pretty busy when we got here. Overall, the place was nice, pleasant atmosphere, staff was friendly and knowledgeable . The piercer was patient and pretty amazing, we really had a wonderful experience here.

This place is amazing! I got 3 piercings, my friend got one, and my other friend got a tattoo. The energy is fun and the laughs are in abundance! Its such a vibe to be in this space. Got my first tattoo today and wow it could not have been a better experience! The place is clean and organized. The staff was professional, kind, and so, so wholesome!Special shout-out to my amazing artist Allie who made my first ink experience so wonderful.

Lost deposit after changing my mind 20 mins after leaving the shop $700 for a $ 300 tattoo. Paid deposit at 2pm and the tattoo was scheduled to be done the next day at 2pm went perfectly for their 24 hour refund policy.

I was charge $350 for a 1hr tattoo and all it said was patience and then tried to say there was a misunderstanding after confronting about it but she knew what she was doing just trying to get more money from and person getting their first tattoo

I went in as a walk in, was greeted by the tattoo artists in the shop, and just caught great vibes from walking in plus great taste in music.@saratattooz Was who worked on my tattoo, and I could not be happier with the way it came out and the piece she had created, will be going back to her for more tattoos over time.Would highly recommend people going to her as she is very welcoming, and she made me feel really comfortable while she was tattooing me.

Great vibes and incredibly professional artists. Im in love with my new Venus de Flytrap ink and it is healing so well. Julia (the incredible artist) was so easy to communicate with before, during, and even AFTER! This is the best shop Ive been to! The staff is friendly, professional, and extremely talented. The shop is welcoming and clean. The artists have different styles to fit any tattoo needs. Alex does the best fine line work and really dedicates his time and effort to clients. I got a custom half sleeve done and he set aside an entire day to make changes and complete the tattoo, accommodating my travel plans. I LOVE my new tattoo and will be back any time I travel to the area. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for tattoos and/or piercings!

I’ve been to Art Addiction tattoo twice - had such an amazing experience the first time that I brought friends for tattoos the second time! I cannot recommend Alex more highly. My first time there, I was struck by how thoughtful and respectful he was - made the whole experience extremely comfortable, checking in frequently to ensure I was feeling good and asking before moving my shirt/etc out of the way. Small things that make a big difference! The second time, Alex opened the shop for me and my pals on a weekend day when it was typically closed - so above and beyond. Plus my tattoos look absolutely killer. Thank you!

Im so grateful for their professional piercing master who did my sons first ear piercing. He warned my son about all the consequences, explained the care for it and made him feel relaxed before his first major procedure. My son wanted his ears pierced for a while now but has a scare of needles. Our master ( I cant remember his name🤦😭) was really cool and patient with my baby, he was very supportive and understanding and made us feel as comfortable and ready before beginning. ❤️The front desk lady was nice and polite as well. Overall very friendly and cool atmosphere. We recommend 👍

I got my belly button pierced there two days ago! The guy joked around with me about it being his “3rd time piercing”. HAHA! They definitely made it very quick, fast, and I felt comfortable. He told me how to clean it properly and was very honest. Really nice people. My piercing feels great and looks amazing!

This shop had a special for Friday the Thirteenth. I went to the event and when I arrived I was told it would be a 30 minute wait. I was there a total of 2 hours. The receptionist with the pink eyebrows was very inconsiderate and never apologized about the lengthy wait time that she miscalculated. The piercer actually ended up taking me ahead of some other customers once I explained how long I had been waiting. On yesterday, August 21st my ball fell off of my new conch piercing and went down the drain in my bathroom. I called the shop early in the afternoon and explained what happened. I was told the piercer would be in at 1:30 and the shop doesn’t close until 10pm. I left work a little after 7 pm and I called the shop again. I was told there was no piercer in the shop and I would have to come in a week to have the ball replaced. There was no way I would be able to go a week with no ball without the piercing falling out. I regret ever going to this shop because I did not receive special pricing. My coworker called and inquired about pricing, my particular piercing would have been $40 on a regular day. I am not happy with the service I received and I will never return to this establishment again. I’m leaving 2 stars because the piercer I had was very knowledgeable and friendly even tho I was fed up with the amount of time I had been waiting. He was the only person who extended an apology and had good customer service. I was informed yesterday that the piercer is gone so actually this review should be one star. I ended up going to a completely different shop to have the ball replaced. It was embarrassing explaining what happened and involving a piercer that had absolutely nothing to do with my situation.

Experienced, Creative, Humble, and care about what you want and if you want it. I am a first timer, but I got my first tattoo two weeks ago and love it. Was scared at first because I did not know what the healing process would look like, but I just got my second tattoo today from them and it is absolutely perfect. The artist are amazing and don’t want to push you in or out. If you have questions they are there and do the best job I must say. I know this is long, but for ink to go on me that means something, I would never go anywhere else. Leigh Ann is my artist, but they all are amazing. If you want great art and great people, in my opinion this is the place to go! It does not feel like a tattoo shop to me, just a family inviting you into their home to take care of your needs!

After speaking with Tasha on Instagram back & forth, she helped us out so much with being flexible with when we were able to come in, to giving us ideas. 2 of us were getting out very first tattoos & Trey made the experience so chill. Hands down, beyond impressed & happy with the whole visit. The shop is pristine & clean. Everyone very friendly, even the other customers that came in. Treated us like they’ve known us for years. I would go the 14 hours back just to specifically have Trey do more work on me. Thank you!

The artists here have great quality work and are professional but what I liked best is how friendly and welcoming they were. Definitely not a dingy place or drug infested like most other shops in the area. I personally worked with the Spanish tattoo artist girl. She was fast, professional, kind and very informative. I so not see myself going elsewhere for work to be done!

My go-to tattoo & piercing shop! Extremely clean, affordable, and houses super talented artists. Everybody is so kind and welcoming and they treat you like family. I’m from Baton Rouge but make the drive down every month because it’s so worth it. Love this place, really do recommend!

First time getting work done at this shop. My fiance and I were greeted imediatley and very hospitibly as soon as we walked in. Leigh Anne was the artist that did my piece today. She was very nice through the while process and we held conversation almost the whole time. Grant also did an excellent job doing some touch up work for me. That guys line work is on point and I definitely reccomend him. Chris was the artist that tattooed my fiance , and again very friendly and professional. He did an amazing job on her tattoo and very fairly priced as well. Over all exactly what you should expect from any reputable tattoo shop. Definitely will return and get grant to do some more work for me.

She immediately responded and let me know her artist Bill would contact me as soon as he was available. Bill took the images and ideas I provided and made my vision come to life. Tasha, Erial, & Bill all made me feel like I was amongst friends/family. That atmosphere was amazing and I left happy and satisfied with the masterpiece that was inked on my body. DO NOT GO HERE! Absolutely the worst tattoo work Ive seen in a long time. When he told me the price I thought it was a little expensive for simple line work and minor shading. The lines he did were shaky and uneven throughout the entire tattoo, which was a basic tribal. Im not even going back to get it touched up or fixed for free. Im going to High Resolution to get an certain artist there to do the work and Ill happily pay for it. Dont get me wrong, they were nice people but the work sucked.-this all happened at the shop on airline.

I just want to say to qualify my following testament that I DO have several tattoos. Ive gotten them from quite a few artists. Im familiar with this process. Three of us went in today to capitalize on the Friday the 13th deal. Three of us left without getting anything. The $20.00 deal-sized finger tattoo became $150.00 really quickly. This is patently ridiculous as, customarily, I would expect this to be shop minimum. So much for a deal. If I can use the flash art as a gauge for the quality of work I would recommend to steer clear. As an artist I was embarrassed. As a potential customer and client I was insulted. Overall, my recommendation is Look Elsewhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Over priced for my jacked up tattoo. I spent 200$ on a tattoo and after it healed I noticed uneven lines, un even shading, spots on the lines that do not even connect. I forgot the artist name but hes an older white guy. Never going there again. Im going to have to go get it fixed now some place.

$80 for a tiny tat. Size of a half $. Pricey. The guy was heavy. And its not completely filled in. But... Very friendly.
