Razors Edge Tattoo And Piercing Studio

This shop squeezed my boyfriend and I in last minute for matching tattoos. The owner is one of the nicest tattoo artist I’ve ever met. It was good vibes all around from everyone I met that worked at the studio. We got put with an amazing artist, I believe his name was Carlos, he was able to knock our tattoos out quickly so we were able to make our show we had the same day, on top of that did amazing work. Theyre running a special where if you spend $350 you get a free peircing. Since I had a show to go to the same day I didnt want to get one that day, so the owner gave me his card and said next time I’m in town I can come by and still get my peircing. Definitely recommending this shop to all my friends, and coming back anytime I’m in baltimore for a show.

Everyone was nice in the shop. I originally asked for my daughter’s birth month flower (Lily of the valley) but ended up with a sunflower. Tattoo was done in less than a hour. Will be returning for my touch up in about 4 weeks. Overall I love my tattoo. Thanks so much! :)

Traveled a bit to get here because of the good reviews. This place had its ups and downs but it was overall good. The lack of parking is a downside as well as the confusing entrance. The place was very decked out with cool posters and slogans and even an atm machine. I was waiting for quite a while as I was doing a walk in appointment to get my eyebrow pierced. During this time after filling out paperwork I was sitting there for at least 20 minutes because there was only one guy working in the back getting a dermal out a girls cheek. There was a kid who was running around and was scolded by the front desk lady multiple times to sit still but persisted to disobey. It was interesting to witness but also confusing where there was just some kid running around. Finally when it was my turn to get my piercing I met the guy who does them and he was very nice and took less than 5 minutes and I was done. The front desk lady was nice as well and took cash app for payment and gave me a bottle of homemade cleaning solution with tea tree oil. It has been working very well and my piercing is coming along well. Besides the child and the long wait the two workers were very nice and the piercing process was quick. I would recommend calling first but would definitely give this place a try for your next piercing.

The piercer did a fantastic job making sure that my child was comfortable, and directed the conversation toward them. He patiently and calmly explained everything to them and made the experience completely about my little one. I loved that. Additionally he was very kind and had great customer service. Wonderful atmosphere, very cool vibe, and friendly staff. Highly recommend and will be returning

The piercer Ray was wonderful! I had my navel pierced a few days before coming here at a different shop. I did not like the way it looked. Ray stated the piercing entrance was too low & the exit was too far back in my navel. He removed it & repierced it properly. I am Truly satisfied with the outcome. I was so happy, I got another helix piercing. I most definitely would recommend this place for all of your piercings! 👍🏽

It was a great experience , I got my second hole on my ears, septum and belly button done and they gave me a great deal. It was very hygenic and they were very patient/comforting to me. All three has healed great and Im about to go back to get my industrial and touge.

Ray is incredibly kind and personable. Upon approaching the shop I was greeted by a group of awesome folk and led back into the coolest parlor I’ve been in yet. Cool band memorabilia, funko POPs and classic hits playing on the amp. My artist Ron is amazing, the color and dimension in my tattoo are just phenomenal. They are all kind, and flexible to your needs here. I am so excited to make my next appointment and will keep coming back. This is my new favorite spot, and the ONLY spot I wanna be tatted. First off as soon as I walked in I was greeted and immediately felt at ease. My tattoo artist was Jules. She was absolutely great. I told her what my vision was and she nailed it.Jules has a very soft touch for an artist. The shop is clean but a fun warm atmosphere. Everyone that works here will make you feel like family. The owner Razor is very personable. He pierced my eyebrow and I really didnt feel it. He will sit and listen to any story you might want to share. Very easy to talk and it feel like you have known him your whole life. They have a killer arcade upstairs. Do you know of any tattoo shops with a full arcade? This place is for sure a diamond in the rough. You wont be disappointed. If I could I would give it a billion stars.

The coolest little shop I’ve ever seen!!!! The staff is awesome and very knowledgeable. The owner is a Sublime fan and he is a big teddy bear. I will go no where else to get piercings or tattoos!

Awesome, friendly service! I called last night at 8:45pm to ask about re-inserting my belly button ring after having it out for a month. I couldn’t re-insert it by myself. Store was closing in 15 minutes, but they said “come on over, we’ll wait for you!” After getting there and being assessed, we realized my belly button piercing of 30 years had closed! With a swift pop of a needle, it was re-pierced! Thank you!!

My wife and I went to this establishment based off reviews as many do and I wished someone would have said what Im about to say. This business is a joke! We won a claw machine game, each ball had a number that corresponded with a picture in a book, if you won a ball you got the picture in the book worth $100. We won 22 balls. My wife said its a raffle, no way theyd give $100 tattoo for a $1 game! The owner razor said to her hes right meaning each ball was a $100 tattoo. We went back the second day and the owners wife was there and asked to be paid for the claw machine tattoo I WON. In a nutshell - they pick and choose what they want the game to mean. They keep deposits, tell you you owe for something you clearly won and told by a owner it was free as long as it was out of one particular book. The artist is amazing, but I would not put a single $1 in these scam artists pockets!! Its a bunch of druggies hanging in and around, but we looked the other way because we had 22 tattoos to get - so we thought!!! Not to mention the $200 tattoo my wife got the day before and a cover up I had scheduled the day after I got 1 of the $100 machine wins... the cover up would have prolly been around 300 or more but they wouldnt give a set price the 2 days we were there getting other work done... then when the $100 piece was done he was no where to be found and had his wife come break the news that I owed $100 which clearly I did not from what the owner himself stated out his mouth the night before... more then half of the book of set numbers that coincided with the ping pong balls was not even worth $100 and if u did have to pay cash for some of them that u clearly won should have there head examined because there clearly not worth $50 but in a nutshell $100 tattoos get what you get in the claw machine is a rip off... I spent 60 bucks in that machine and won 22 balls that I was told 2 different things by 2 different people then someone comes in that I dont know or seen before in them 2 days tries to tell me whats going on instead of sitting down and trying to work something out cause I still had the cover to do and had 3 people ready to go get inked up but due to the lack of professionalism even when the artist who did my work looked at her and said but he won the game I knew this place was joke an a rip off when someone who wasnt there the past 2 days and an didnt have a clue about the situation showed there true colors... just like the crackheads an feens they have running in an out the place at all hours

I am thankful for frank. I had huge scare with my piercing and with places closed or didnt pick up the phone. I was so happy they picked up on the first ring. They helped me over the phone and relieved my worry til I came in that same night. Frank looked over my damage, reassured me, sent me on my way with their helpful products. I will always be thankful to them.

The best tattoo shop my husband and I have visited yet! Everyone was so nice and welcoming! Tim, our tattoo artist was so friggin awesome! So kind, thorough, and professional. He even put on our lions game to watch so we didn’t miss a beat while there!Ray, the piercer, was awesome as well! I always come to Razor’s edge for all my tattoo and piercing needs! The staff and owner are super welcoming and helpful and great and very knowledgeable about what it is they do and it shows. Recently I came in to get 1 piercing and the owner did my piercing and he threw in another one that originally is $60 and did it for only $20😊 and everything came with cleaning solution and a care card to inform me on how to properly cleanse my piercings, the owner also gave me his contact card in case I had and questions or concerns with my piercings(which I have not).I was also given a tour of the shop which has an awesome arcade that can be rented out for parties and events and he also gave me a free snowball😊 all that to say, COME HERE! You will NOT be disappointed 💯😌👍🏾

Dont leave any credit with them for later. You will get screwed over and not get your money. Honestly, Ill be avoiding them going forward, but I want to warn others so they dont deal with crazy nonsense like I had to with them. Youve been warned. GL

My experience at Razors Edge was fantastic! I went for lobe piercings, which were my first piercings ever. I was put at ease by the relaxed environment and friendly demeanor by everyone. Even though I had no appointment, I was seen very quickly - about 5 minutes if even that. Accommodations were made for me, which I am very grateful for! I love this shop! I’ve been tattooed by Jules multiples times and I keep going back. She so personable and so beyond talented. If you want something with bold lines and packed with color, she’s your girl!! I also have black and gray pieces from her that I love. Ray, the piercer, is amazing too! I got my belly button pierced by him. Everyone in that shop is so knowledgeable about their craft.

All of the workers are extremely friendly and helpful. Ray did a great job fixing an old tarot card tattoo I had, as well as covering up a tattoo on my ankle. I have a few tattoos, all done in shops and I can definitely say I had the best results and experience at razers edge. I will definitely be coming back for more work!

So, this was my first time at Razor’s Edge and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!! I got tattoos and nipple piercings and I gotta say the staff there made sure everything went super amazing! The owner of the shop, Ray, did my piercings and he made it go by super fast, and super painless. Not to mention, he was very sterile considering the pandemic. But what I loved most was my tattoo job. My tattoo artist, Jules, did three pieces for me. She was the best to work with, and she captured the essence of where I was going with each piece. Gotta give her a special 10/10 review! Plus she was SUPER DOPE to work with. I will definitely be back soon for some more pieces!

My tattoo was done 2-22-2022 by Jules! The place is awesome and the atmosphere was relaxed. The people are great! Jules did the most amazing job on my tattoo from several pictures and conversation she knew exactly what to do! Her concentration and accuracy are second to none! Jules I couldnt love this more! It is way better than I imagined! It is Fking perfect!!!! You have a customer forever!

I absolutely love the atmosphere of this place and every artist is easy to talk to. If you want a good tattoo experience I definitely recommend coming here and speaking with the artist about what you’d like tattooed. Tim is the best and I’ve had him work on two of my pieces and plan to have him work on a full sleeve once I saved up enough. I went to Razors Edge and got a “you get what you get” randomized tattoo and my tattoo artist Jules did an amazing job! You can tell she really cares about the quality of her work! This staff are some of the most kind and genuine people I’ve ever met. I came in with a severely infected industrial piercing that I got done at another shop about 8 months ago, I was in tears and felt so defeated with this healing process and my original piercer was not reputable. As soon as I call in razors edge Stephanie greets me in the most welcoming way and eased my anxiety as she was doing with many of the other patrons when waiting. They support and urgency I was met with when I came into the shop made all the differences. I wish I got the name of the piecer who was able to explain to me the issue and work with me on a solution because he made the painful process tolerable and was extremely patient. They will absolutely treat you better than family here and they have my business for a lifetime. Thank you guys so much!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. This place is amazing. The owner shared with me how he built the business around the customer and for the customers. They made me feel like family and put me at ease as this was my first piercing since I was a kid. And the place is decked out and beautiful. Also there’s a freaking ARCADE upstairs. This is the place to go for your piercing and tattoo shop. Ray and Matthew were and are FANTASTIC!!!!! I first talked to Ray on the phone about the piercing I wanted. He explained to me what was involved and the cost. I went to the shop and then I met Matthew. Matthew was a God send. Matthew understood exactly what I needed and set up the trays all the while understanding how I felt. The piercing was easy, simple and minimally painless. He also changed my other piercing to match my new one and I felt no pain. The price I paid for all of the piercing work that was done was almost half what I paid at another shop. I have found my new Tattoo shop. You need to try them out. The best thing about my entire experience is they didnt judge me for being a bit nervous. I will definitely be going back to change out my jewelry very soon. Great place and wonderful people!!! Keep up the great 👍 work.

This was my boyfriend and I’s first time coming here and we had an amazing experience. We originally went in for nose piercings but I ended up asking for a tattoo as well. The tattoo artist, Tyrone made me feel very comfortable and wanted to make sure I loved the design. Throughout the process I slowly became less and less nervous and I absolutely loved my wording tattoo. We also got our noses pierced by Ray which made the process very easy. It was truly an amazing place and they allowed us to see/play in their game room. Definitely had a great time and I plan on coming here for future tattoos and piercings.

I went there to get a Monroe piercing. The piercer had a gentle hand and I experienced minimal discomfort during the piercing session. Piercing area and tools were clean and sanitized. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Aftercare products were included with piercing.I am having no issues jewelry placement and since I am following aftercare instructions I am having no issues with healing.I love my Monroe piercing and would return to this shop for a piercing if the feeling hits me again.Thank you for the experience. Me and my daughter got our nose pierced. Everything went well. Bit of a mix up with pricing being I called and an employee told me a price and when came was different price but other than that he was nice treated us VERY well and did an awesome job helping me calm my daughter down because she was nervously having second thoughts after shed talked me into getting mine 🤨🤦But the place was clean a little small but really nice and very nice people 👍🙏

Let me just start by saying this they are very welcoming people! I went here today and got two tattoos and a piercing & the owner cut me a very good deal. I loved the end result of my tattoo. The owners goal is too make sure you come back and he’s gotme! Would recommend to anyone looking for a real artistic tattoo, he’s got talent. A master at skulls and roses as well! My Daith piercing was hurting and felt like it was getting infected! The ball of my earring was pressed on my ear and really irritating too!!! I was a walk-in and Razor took me right away! He explained to me everything I was doing right and what I was doing wrong with my piercings. He then sat me down and gave my ear a good cleaning. He put a little silicone circle around the ball and wow, does my ear feel better!! They have a fantastic essential oil mixture for cleaning which I purchased. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a piercing. The entire staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Thanks Razor for saving my piercing!!

My first experience with them was awesome! We walked in with a group of 3 people and they were willing to find us the tattoo we wanted right away and all 3 of us were able to get it that day. Joker is really good with tattooing and the owner was really generous with his prices and even offered a FREE piercing at the end!!! Highly recommend these guys!

The owner Ray and the sweet woman and front desk badass Stephanie are the realist people in the industry. Their shop is amazing. The owner is awesome 🤩 he will even play your favorite music while getting piercings. If you didn’t know yet they are having a Valentine’s Day specials and I saw the tattoo I wanted it’s a flash $50 anchor that I fell in love with when I 1st saw it at the shop. We got a total of three piercings this time . I got my nostril pierced , daughter got snakebites and my son got septum piercing. The Owner was professional , caring and very attentive . I was nervous and he was patient and had such awesome energy that it calmed me. The atmosphere was amazing and everything was clean and sterile. Will definitely return for more piercings and tattoos. Stephanie was super helpful and knowledgeable to assist my daughter in making final decision on what piercing she wanted. Totally recommend Razors Edge.

I went with a friend for her tattoo, and ended up getting a bridge piercing. Everyone was so nice, and accommodating. I was able to discuss my piercing with Ray and how I wanted it placed without being guilted. My friend got a BEAUTIFULLY done tattoo by Jules! We both left very satisfied with many business cards for our friend. They definitely have customers for life !

I went and got my nose pierced yesterday. They really care more about you healing well and having a good piercing than anything else. I only had $46 and the aftercare solution was being sold for $15 but I would’ve gotten it for $10 for being his last client because I went in right before they closed. He gave to me free of charge because he wants his clients to heal correctly. Will definitely be going back to get more of piercings done by then. 10/10 would recommend to anyone to go here to get you’re piercings done. You will be guaranteed good healing as long as you keep up with it

Got a nostril piercing done here yesterday. It was quick and clean. The piercer was great. I paid about 60 dollars for the piercing, jewelry and another piece of jewelry for the piercing I already had on the other side of my nose. If I get another piercing soon I’ll definitely be coming back here.

Ive gotten two nose piercings and a belly button done here and its always perfect! The owner does the piercings very quick and doesnt hurt that bad! A week ago I placed a frantic call to Razor’s Edge because my new piercing from another shop was sinking into my skin. The owner Ray felt so reassuring over the phone that I hopped on the first Uber I could find. His expertise was obvious and sure enough, a week later, my piercing is healing nicely. Tim was absolutely amazing! Did 9 hours in the chair getting a piece done on my forearm and he worked with me with getting it done! He was able to make a cluster of ideas and turn it into something that was beyond my imagination!! Cant wait to get back down to get some touch ups done and hopefully more works of art!!!

I took my 2 daughters (6 and 12 years old) to razors edge for ear piercings. This was my 6 year olds first ear piercing and the second for my 12 year old. This was an awesome experience for my girls. Ray was super patient and informative. He explained everything he was doing to my girls to make them more comfortable.Ray was also very thorough with cleanliness. Very unhygienic, piercing touching t shirt, door handles. Not changing gloves at all.Coughing.. just sprayed piercing with alcohol for sterilization. Also gave me too short of a piercing. Had to go to another shop and they said the jewelry here is cheap.Don’t recommend

Found this place randomly online and loved the reviews I had seen and looked over. Went in today and got peirced on the spot, I felt welcome the minute me and my partner walked in the door. After my peircing the owner walked me and my partner through the whole place and let me tell you, arcade upstairs, merch shop dowstairs with amazing peices and little trinkets to purchase, we didnt want to leave. I came to Razors edge in search of getting my dogs paw print as a tattoo, not only did the staff help me decide best placement for my tattoo but they also took into consideration the pain and location . Our tattoos were done by Scarlett and my mother’s done by Dae., which they both were professional but made the space comfortable . Following mine and my mother’s tattoos, I decided to get a piercing . Not only was Ray professional but he made instructions clear and was very nice , didn’t make the experience awkward. Not to mention they allowed me to bring my dog to get an actual print! So if you get the opportunity to swing by the store you wouldn’t be disappointed.

I got my first tattoo done. Tim did a great job with it. It was a godzilla shooting his fire/lightning blasts and it covered a scar. It looks absolutely amazing. I do recommend going to them for any tattoos.

Got my nose pierced and sister got both ears pierced (for the third time). Owner is also the piercer and did a great job. They make acleaning solution with tea tree oil and seasalt that we use twice daily and it works really well.
