Great experience for our daughter getting her ears pierced for the first time. I’m sorry I have forgotten the name of the lady who did the piercing but she was wonderful! Professional and helped make our daughter feel comfortable. The piercing looks great and her ears barely swelled up and she has had zero pain. Definitely recommend! Thank you to lost soul, we will be back when the youngest is ready. 😊

I sent an inquiry for my tattoo and got a response 10 minutes later! Very fast and clear communication. Everyone is super nice and made me less nervous, as this was my first tattoo. Gary did great! The detail is so good and it only took about 10 minutes. I’ll def be back for more 😊

I have had nothing but awesome experiences at this shop. The shop is always impeccably clean and welcoming. Gary has done most of my arm tattoos that are pictured and does a really great job from start to finish. His dot work, mandala work and attention to detail is unmatched. He really takes his time listening to exactly what you want and encourages you to be vocal after he draws something for you. If there are any adjustments he’s happy to help and makes you feel heard and is excited about your tattoo. The amount of detail he fits into every tattoo even if it’s small is really incredible, I have been blown away by his work and will be a lifelong client. I think the pricing is extremely fair for the amount of care and work that goes into the whole experience, absolute 10/10 for this shop!!

Drew did an incredible job with my tattoo. He was very clear in his communication from day 1, and happily made the few changes I asked about and I really appreciated his feedback on what he thought would look best. I asked him to do whatever shading and detail he felt like doing and the entire piece came out so much more beautiful than I imagined it. Drew was very kind, considerate, and made me feel completely comfortable through the entire experience. It’s been hard for me to find an artist that I would go to for a second piece, but I have definitely found the perfect artist for all of my future art. I couldn’t believe that he was able to complete this piece in the time he did. I’m so thankful for this experience and cannot thank the artist enough for his incredible skills and knowledge. My husband and I got our first neck tattoo here, theyve been healing beautifully.they were and are absolutely amazing. Super nice& hospitable. I was nervous but he made the tattoo a breeze.Least painful tattoo I’ve ever had! Super quick, super efficient, super friendly.They even offer two types of “surprise/ you what you get” tattoos one for $60 and one for $120!!All around an amazing place11/10 rating and cannot wait to go back!!

Our family and friends headed to Lost Soul for a belly button piercing. Not only was the customer service great, the piercing is beautiful and Jaysha did a wonderful job. After forgetting a wallet and pair of keys, we reached out to Lost Soul after hours, with an immediate response back. Thankful for this shops honesty, amazing customer service, and great work. I just got my 2nd & 3rd tattoo there. Did my 1st ever one last August. Drew did all 3 of mine. He worked with me on exactly what I wanted. Hes awesome! Already planning my next one with him.

This was a really cool place. Clean, and organized. There were 3 artist when we went into the building. The drawings are very accurate and the artist are reliable. Common price for tattoo’s. Also make sure you call first send a pic of your tattoo. You can get a price and then schedule an appointment!

My husband and I were in town for our 25th wedding anniversary and wanted to get tattoos to celebrate. Gary was able to fit us in on short notice. He was easy to talk to and made us laugh with his stories. The tattoos he gave us are amazing and we definitely plan on coming back next year for more! The shop was very clean and the staff was kind and professional. It was a great way to end such a special week!

I can only speak on the piercing portion of this and really specifically the jewelry. I’ve had my tragus pierced for 2 and a half years and went in to get a new piece of jewelry put it. The ball has come off 4 times now and after the 3rd time, I asked for a refund so I could get different jewelry as it was not convenient for me to have to go in every week to get a new piece screwed in. I was told refunds are not an option. Waste of money & time going in there multiple times. The girl was nice but unfortunately no resolution was made, maybe they need to improve their quality of jewelry.

I absolutely love lost soul collective tattoo. Gary does amazing work and has clean lines. Ans will make your ideas into beautiful tattoos. He has such a soft hand too. I was so nervous until he started and once I felt how soft his touch was all my worries went away.I most definitely recommend making a appointment asap

I’ve had multiple tattoos done by Drew and I plan on going back for plenty more! He’s a great person, awesome artist, and makes you feel very comfortable while getting tattooed. Gary is so professional and personable! This was my 1st tattoo and he made me feel so comfortable. He was patient and had me laughing through the process. Gary is absolutely amazing! He is a master of realism, black and gray, and fine line masterpieces. Pricing is amazing for the work that he does and more. The shop itself is very clean, professional, and welcoming. I just finished my second appointment with apprentice, Kristen. She is extremely professional and so easy to work with. She went out of her way to make sure that I was getting exactly what I had in mind. I know of 4 others tattooed by Kristen and their experience was wonderful as well. The business is very clean and well maintained (as a healthcare provider, I really pay attention to this detail). Everyone there is so nice and welcoming. I will definitely be returning in the very near future. I highly recommend this establishment. As a matter of fact, I travel from over 5 hours away just to have my work done here.

I love this place I’ve had two sessions so far with Drew, he is absolutely amazing and his work is so detailed. I constantly get compliments on my tattoos. Not to mention how clean the business is. They take sterile to a whole other level. Highly recommend!

My girlfriend wanted a new tattoo and I decided to pay for her to get one for our anniversary. I had recently met Andrew, so I called him up and asked for a favor. He was able to work us in on an extremely short notice. He worked with us with the gaps in his schedule to find a time that worked for him. That meant a lot because he is typically booked out a couple months. He did a great job, my girlfriend loves her new tattoo. He also did it at an extremely fair price. I would highly recommend Andrew and Lost Souls for any of your Tattoo needs!

I love the atmosphere, its very relaxing and you feel welcomed as soon as you get there. All of my piercings were done here by Jaysha and have healed beautifully. Drew has done a couple tattoos for me and fixed my finger tattoos, they were awful and now I love them! He has a very light, steady hand. His line work is amazing and his artwork is beautiful. 100/10 experience at Lost Soul everyone was so friendly and made me feel very welcome. Sometimes artists can be intimidating but everyone I talked to was very cool and we had a conversation the entire hour and a half I was on the table. Shout out Drew!! Gary has done several great pieces for me over the last couple of years including a very meaningful one after the tragic loss of a family member. I was honored to bring my brother in law in to have a similar memorial tattoo designed as well for him. All my pieces are vibrant with clean lines and I always gets compliments on them. I went here for my first real tattoo! I was not disappointed, I liked this place so much I came here for my next 7 :) Gary has excellent work and detailing. I get compliments still from my butterfly, he made sure to make it unique.

I have been going to Gary since the shop opened a few years ago. Gary went out of his way to satisfy me and my mom when there was complications getting in things we needed for our tattoos before I became a loyal customer. Everyone that has been at the shop has been friendly and very welcoming making the experience and atmosphere personal. I now have a full sleeve of quality work done by Gary and fresh, clean piercings from Jaysha! Everyone I’ve referred to Lost Soul has been and loves it as well!

I called the day before my appointment, my sister was shipping out, and we were supposed to get tattoos together before she left, she ended up shipping early, so I had to go get my tattoo alone. The staff at Lost Souls, fit me right in. This is exceptionally rare, as most shops have a client appointment waitlist. Lost souls, was overly accommodating. The shop was VERY clean, staff were very professional, and even though I am a transplant here, originally from Pennsylvania where our family owned a tattoo shop there for years, the staff still made sure I remembered about aftercare and treatment of my tattoo. They use clean needles every time, practice proper blood borne precautions, And maintained the sterile field. My tattoo was done beautifully, it was well priced, and I had ZERO complaints.I can’t say enough about how profession the staff was. One thing people need to remember is you get what you pay for, this is a standard that applies to everything. The fact that they graciously and politely accepted me as a walk-in, is unheard of, much less provided an excellent experience. I immediately made an appointment for May, after seeing what a great job they did on my last piece. This is definitely the shop you want to go to.

My friend and I were on vacation and got tattoos for fun (we both have other tattoos). The staff was incredibly friendly and the environment was VERY clean. Super impressed! Justin did both our tattoos and did an awesome job. He makes sure to take his time in order to be precise and create the perfect design. T also did my last minute decision nose piercing and rocked it! Her calm and friendly demeanor made it a total breeze. It did not hurt a bit. Would highly recommend for both tattoos and piercings!

I have been to a lot of shops from Colorado to North Carolina and I will say Lost Souls is my absolute favorite for a multitude of reasons. It is clean, Gary and Drew are amazing artists, Jaysha knows what she is doing and educates her clients properly, and they are over all great people. I am an introvert, but I can easily talk to these three! I dont know any of their new artists, but Gary has high standards so Id imagine they are just as awesome. I will continue to go here as long as they keep letting me through the door!

I just moved to Hampstead over the summer and leaving my tattoo artists behind was one of the toughest part of my move.When I moved here, I knew I needed a small, dainty, but super meaningful tattoo (pictured on wrist)- and Gary was SO accommodating to my sporadic messages, high energy, and last minute walk in.Gary- I cannot thank you enough, I cant wait to come back for more!

First, I waited until I was 51 to get my first tattoo. I decided I wanted a reminder and to celebrate my year and 1/2 of transformation (lost 105 pounds) so I wanted something meaningful and not ordinary!! Gary came to the rescue! He designed a tattoo that exemplifies what I can’t put into words. I received so many compliments on how well it looks including my healing process. I’ve heard horror stories and can honestly say it was a great experience and I have a very impressive tattoo to show off!!!

I cannot recommend this business enough! They were fast communicating with me, listened to what I wanted and the work done on the cover up of the Native American tattoo with a catby Drew was awesome and I am thrilled, price is great too, I will be back!

What a great shop. Never had a tattoo done outside of my home base. Visiting family for a bit, I figured why not get a little something in their neck of the woods. Heard great recommendations about Lost Soul. Hit the shop up on Instagram and let them know I didnt have any grand project ready for them and they were still very eager to work with me. Drew took on my job and worked it like an absolute pro. Did a small piece as per request of my daughter and finished a 14 year old piece on my elbow. This guy is a champ... Brought life back into the old tattoo and once I showed people the new one Drew did in the midst of my late 90s era tattoos, people said, That isnt real... Its a sticker!. Drew took the mundane and ran with it, adding his own artistic sensibility provided the bit of canvas he was allotted. Will certainly be back to Lost Soul.

I came into this shop originally due to the closeness of it’s location. My sister in law was visiting and we always gets more tats when we come together . We came in as walk-ins. After telling them what we were looking for. They told us they help us out no problem and proceeded to have us do the usual of information. When it came time to get our next work , Drew was extremely helpful , kind and was very safe and made sure all of our equipment was clean and sterile. My sister went first and he talked her through the whole thing. She was more than pleased with the work. I went second , and my tattoo was on my ribs and I was extremely nervous. Drew made me feel a lot better he told me to breathe and just talk and he did an amazing job ! Lost soul was meant to be just a one time stop , but I have told so many of my friends about it and I can’t wait to go back for all my others tats

Drew is the man really took care of me and my lady he finished hers where another shop did half and bailed. It was my first tattoo I got a wolf and a sunflower the sunflower was from her tattoo and he matched it to the letter. It came out amazing wouldn’t change a thing. The staff was friendly and professional. Everyone was like old friends and I just met everyone today. This was my first tattoo but not my last unless drew leaves the plant. I was nervous walking in because I had an odd idea and Im not that great at communicating. Gary listened and came up with something better than I couldve dreamed up and made sure I was comfortable throughout the four hours I was there. I absolutely love my tattoo. My daughter had been trying decide on a tattoo that we could get together that meant something to us both. Finally this year while here on vacation we decided on the one we wanted to share together; and we each picked another that we wanted; two visits to the shop and we couldn’t be more satisfied. We shared our ideas and Gary took them and made them his own; and they turned out so much better than we ever could have imagined. We’ve been tattooed before but now we’ve decided to come back to lost soul each year and get something new. These guys may be the only tattoo place in Hampstead but I wouldn’t even dream of going anywhere else. Gary, Drew and the rest of the gang are some the nicest people I know. Don’t waste your time looking around. These cars are the “bees knees!!”

Had consultation two months ago design had not been drawn even the day before the appointment. Was told “ If you don’t want to wait for the drawing you’re more than welcomed to come and get your deposit because you haven’t seen the drawing yet or you can wait for when I have time for the drawing.” A week from my appointment. Then called by Gary being told “you picked me you just have to trust me, if you want to change something we’ll change it the day of the tattoo”

This place is awesome! All of my tattoos have been done by Gary, he does great work and is very personable. Jaysha pierced my nose and it healed with no problem at all. A clean, comfortable environment.

The shop owner is an absolute boss. He squeezed me in for a last second, no-notice, walk-in appointment today for my second tat. It took a little less than a hour - and hot damn, does it look good.On another note, for the professional work this cat does, you cant beat his prices. I tipped him almost 60% and still didnt feel like I paid enough.This will be the only shop in NC that Im coming back to for the remainder of my work.

Can’t say enough about this shop and specifically Gary, had a design ready for a right arm piece but hadn’t fully decided on a sleeve concept and Gary threw the idea of entirely animal skulls. Got the first done and been coming ever since! Service is excellent, work is supreme and price is right. More than that if they can’t do it and make it perfect they won’t. And I respect that as a tattoo veteran. You need ink? Look no further.

Didnt actually get a tattoo here, prices were a little too high for my wallet. But I give 4 stars because let me tell you, when I say this place was CLEAN, you couldve eaten off the floor! The staff was super nice and funny, and they made small talk with my kids, which is a big deal to me, my kids are my everything!

They are not artists they are technicians.No vision.They are a little narrow-minded. Not open to new ideas, non traditional tats. Refused to give me what I ask for. And when I pressed that that was my prerogative they jacked up the price to push me out.So much for cutting edge.More concerned about reputation than customer interaction.My reply to your replyAnd you still dont get it.The image I presented to you was a Gestalt image, a play on the imagination, The Minds Eye. not to be viewed up close but from a distance of 3 to 8 feet. The question becomes: what is it that I am seeing or am I seeing what I am seeing? The closer you get the more the image fades . And that image is conveyed in my drawings.Next is the allegory behind the image and that is: time and memory fade.This tattoo is extremely personal to me, to me, TO ME!As for your fear of your precious tattoo not surviving time, time is not a luxury that I have.

This place is amazing! They are reasonably price and exceptionally clean. The artists are extremely creative and will take your idea to the next level. They care about their clients and make sure they are getting everything they want. This is a great place for a first tattoo. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable. They do walk ins when they are avalible but I would recommend calling ahead just incase. This shop is also handicap accessible.

First ink Ive had in over 13 years. Came in week earlier and gave Gary my ideas. Couldnt have asked for a better artist. He created a piece of beauty for the memory of my mother. Been going to this shop since 2016 and you aren’t going to find a better tattoo shop in North Carolina. The owner Gary does nothing but phenomenal work! The prices are the best around especially for the quality. 10/10 recommend.

Gary has been there with me through some of the biggest changes in my life and has been able to show that in my artwork as well, and I’m proud to call him my tattoo artist. Would highly recommend him to anyone.

Saw Drew this morning for a memorial piece. I wanted different, soft and Drew was helpful kind and sensitive to my wishes....so much so that my mother got in the chair right after me at 73 to get a matching tattoo.....thank Drew they are beautiful!

My 4 year old granddaughter got her ears pierced here. The young woman who pierced them was very patient and explained step by step what she was doing.

I had a very personal tattoo I wanted and Gary did it exactly how I wanted it, it actually looks better than the picture I took in. Very professional and courteous as well.

Pretty awful for jewelry, went in the get a labret piercing piece and the lady at the desk was super rude. They didn’t have any 14 gauge for labret and had the tiniest little gem pieces in a 16 and that was it. I payed 10 dollars for the tiniest little thing and bad service. Wouldn’t come again.
