Dawn is amazing and has done some phenomenal work on my girlfriend. I cant wait to finish some of my other work and go see her and get something! The shop is clean and everyone here is so nice. Absolutely come here to ger some ink done!

Harlequin Tattoo is awesome! I love that when you go in for a consult, all of the artists work together to give you the best art. If the person you consult with, has a different style than youre looking for, they recommend the artist at Harlequin, that suits you best. Dawn Cooke is such an incredible artist. She really nailed my memoriam for my two cats that passed away. Dawn is my forever tattoo artist, but happily everyone is super talented! Thank you, Dawn and Harlequin Tattoo❤️

Went in wanting a tattoo, but the tattoo geek Rick Woods was very rude an pushy, I will never come back here, he an his female friend literally stared me down like they were racist an wanted me gone fast, I felt very uncomfortable so I left , Wouldn’t recommend coming here. Beware racism is real.✊🏾

Valentine did an amazing job, couldnt be more stoked. Im back today for a cover up. Other artists also do killer work.

Got my 3rd tattoo today, Rick is absolutely fantastic at what he does. I was so comfortable that I almost took a nap. Great atmosphere and everyone is super nice and friendly. Highly recommend anyone wanting a tat to come here!

I discovered Mond and his amazing work through twitter and booked an appointment with him through Instagram. From beginning to end he was very kind and professional. The shop is really cute, welcoming, and clean✨ It was a fantastic experience and I will be returning! :)

I had a chance to get a tattoo from the brilliant Nadja. I got a narwhale and my partner got poppies. The lines were beautiful and her special artistic touch added something extra. It was such a great experience.

I worked with Kent Braun on a design, which was super easy and I liked the experience. The tattoo itself went smoothly-Kent is an excellent artist. The shop was busy, yet quiet. I felt super comfortable there, and I plan on getting more tattoos from Kent in the future.

I made the drive from Toledo to get tattooed here. While it was the first time it definitely will not be the last time. This is a super clean shop the work quality for the price is just ridiculous. What I mean by that is it super solid tattoo work at a very very good price. Im pretty sure that this is going to be my new go-to place I love Hamtramck and I love this shop.

This is another extension of Dawn and Bills awesome collection of artists and pooled talent. Great space, fun atmosphere, and many types of styles from artists that sometimes are at one or both shops (Depot Town Tattoo, Ypsi and here). Only good experiences, will keep going back!

Very nice staff, clean and clearly well kept. The normal safety/sanitary protocols were in place. NOTE: they only take cash or direct pay via PayPal.I worked with David for a very simple piece featuring just three words. He hand-drew it on the spot (which is what I wanted, as I didnt want to use a downloaded font). He drew up exactly what I had in mind and was careful in making the stencil and ensuring the placement was good.It was a small job, but he was quick and efficient. The owner later mentioned that simple word tattoos are often harder than the complex--Davids work was great.First time experience and I cant say enough good things about Harlequin!

I had THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE at this tattoo shop. LUKE was HORRIBLE and UNPROFESSIONAL. I booked an appointment with him and put down my $60 deposit 2 weeks in advance through Instagram. It’s very hard for me to take time off since I work all the time, so I did my best to take the day of my birthday off to get the tattoo that I’ve been saving up for a long time. Not only was he LATE to the appointment, I had to wait for him for about an hour to get his stuff together when he got there. Not the way you want to spend your birthday AT ALL! So, when I was fed up of waiting around for him, I went to see what was going on. It turns out he was sketching up the tattoo. He should’ve worked on that in advance since he had around 2 weeks to work on the sketch instead of making me wait around until he was done with it. That’s not all. When I took a look at the sketch, IT WAS NOTHING LIKE I WANTED. I had a consultation with him previous to the appointment, and I specifically told him I wanted the exact same drawing I was showing him. He agreed. But at the time of my appointment, he was rude and condescending telling me that he does not copy anybody’s work and all that. I get that, but why would you tell me one thing during the consultation and make me spend my hard earned money on the security deposit when he wasn’t willing to do what I asked for? HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. He almost made me cry when he started yelling at me because I was not willing to go through with the tattoo and was demanding my money back, which I did not get, by the way. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE and worst way to spend my birthday.

The shop is clean, the staff is courteous and responsive. They have the knowledge and experience to translate your ideas into remarkable skin art that you will be proud to wear! Do yourself a favor and check them out when you get the itch for your next or first foray into the world of wearable art.

Ive been going go Dawn for years and absolutely adore her. Not only is she a fantastic artist, but shes an amazing human.
