Got my first tattoo done here. The staff was very helpful and understanding, they worked with me until they reached a design that matched my vision. They were very honest, friendly, and charged a fair price. Would strongly recommend them for a tattoo.

We had an excellent experience at Dodge City Tattoo! My daughter got a helix piercing here and Kels was very knowledgeable and professional and just all around great with my daughter! Cleanliness of the shop was 10/10. Definitely recommend this shop!

Took a chance on the gum ball machine and love the tattoo with the way it came out. Great work and awesome people. Will definitely be back. #1 tattoo parlor in Cullman in my opinion. Now I just need my spider and a few other things.

Dodge city has done both my nose piercings and both of my inner forearm tattoos and i couldn’t say enough good things about their establishment!! clean, professional, friendly and trustworthy people! Kelsey did my nostril today & she is so down to earth and just a sweet and lovely person. Tish did my black & grey flowers, which is actually a coverup tattoo (you’d never even know) and they did such an amazing job!! they took their time, and you can absolutely tell. Bre did my line art flowers & she is just the sweetest! i will be coming back soon for a few touch ups, she had just gotten a new machine and i was a little jumpy that day but she offered free touch ups so it’ll be fixed! no worries! both artists made me feel SO comfortable and regularly checked in with me to make sure i was feeling alright. i 100% recommend Dodge City to everyone i know!!

Got my snakebite pierced by lily , took less than 2 minutes. got them in the perfect spot ,she was super cool and comfortable. healed in less than 2 days. would definitely recommend

This place was amazing. Everybody that worked there was so awesome. The chick at the front desk made you feel so warm. The guy that I think owns it was just chill to talk to made you feel right at home and the artist. Oh my gosh, we just went in with a brief idea. Great experience! I got my first tattoo here, and hey were very kind, super professional, extremely informative, and even followed up with me after getting it a week later. I highly recommend them! Theyre all extremely talented artists, but Rene did my tat. Oh, and this was actually out of their gumball machine, of all things... You pay $80 and get to take a chance on a random tattoo from the gumball machine, and if you dont like what you get, you can pay $5 and reroll. Theyre very well done, and obviously, I love it...Ask for Rene and tell her that Jacob Marlowe sent ya!

Best place for piercings by far! I recently got my snakebites done by Kels. Process was very easy and they were the sweetest! There was also an apprentice in the room, but i didn’t get to catch their name. However, both were super professional and helpful with all my questions. Definitely will return for more piercings in the future!

I have had the eminence please of being officially all work by the talented artist here at Dodge City Tattoo Company establishment. Cleaniest place by far Ive been in. I have 2 beautiful pieces by each of thier artist so far. John and Kortni are out of this world and VERY experienced. Also Misty is a wiz at getting you the perfect pircing and offering high quality jewelry! If you havent already been here you are missing out!But hey if you do end up going elsewhere and completely regret it they do out of this world cover ups! They also are one of the few who offer Griffin Salve and IT IS THE HOLY GRAIL! You want it to be apart of your healing process!

Courtney did an awesome job today on my daughter’s first tattoo. Not only did it turn out perfectly and exactly what she wanted this sweet lady’s patience with a first timer was through the roof. Everyone at the shop was very friendly and welcoming. Courtney definitely gained a few new clients today.

I went in for a very small tattoo the tattoo took 5 minutes to do and he over charged me they charged me 80$ for a tattoo that only covers a small part of my skin and only took 5 minutes to do thats not what I think is the biggest problem the biggest issue is he blew out my skin in the center of my tattoo there is a whole in it

I have now been here for nipple piercings and have got 2 tattoos. They do amazing work (great price) and super friendly. I would highly recommend!

I got my ears pierced by Kelsey and got my first tattoo two weeks ago by Bre and my second one done yesterday by bre. They are amazing people and I’m glad to be one of their customers. Great people, amazing customer service, great attitudes. I would recommend people to go here. I’m gonna keep getting my tattoos done there. People can give bad reviews, but these people are so sweet and kind.

Finding a good tattoo shop is hard work! It’s always scary to try somewhere new, but I’m so glad my friend and I chose Dodge City Tattoo Company. We went in person to the shop to talk about some ideas we had and get a consult. As soon as I walked in the door the sweet lady at the front counter was smiling and welcomed us. So friendly. She directed me to Donovan and we talked about what I wanted and what his advice was. Super nice guy and was very honest and personable. (You want someone who will be upfront about your expectations vs what can realistically be done!) You can tell these artists take pride in what they do and they want to send you out happy. They were able to take us both as walk-ins which was awesome! Donovan reworked a tattoo I had from about a year ago and added to it. He did a wonderful job matching the style of my existing piece. Good price for good work. I left super happy with my new tattoo and the whole staff made me want to come back for more! If you are looking for somewhere with great artists, a good vibe, and clean studio….well you found them!

Kelsie was amazing with the piercing of my nose today! She is very professional and did an amazing job! It did not hurt, I did not feel it, and my eyes never watered! The store and her working area were exceptionally sterile and clean. Protocols followed by the book! She explained everything that was being done step by step. She made me feel at ease and comfortable. I will always recommend her for piercings! And side note, ALL the staff there is extremely nice, courteous, and very talented! I would recommend going there for any of your tattoos and piercings for sure!

Kels did an absolutely amazing job! She was honest about the anatomy of my ear and the pain I could possibly have. She was upfront and honest. When she did the piercing, I did not even flinch. She is amazing at what she does! I’m so thankful I had her pierce my daith that had grown up. It was such a better experience! I recommend her 1000%! I will be back for my other ear and to get my little girl’s ears done.

Please readI have 2 tattoos, both done by Dodge City Tattoo. When I walked into this shop 2 years ago, I was going through a lot. I was grieving, and stressed out. And I really just didn’t know who I was at the time because I was experiencing a lot of changes in my life. I don’t know what possessed me to think I wanted tattoos, at the time I was spending a lot time on social media and it seemed to be the norm. Anyway, I ended up here. And I got something pretty close to what I asked for on the first one. But slowly I started to realize that I didn’t like it. I told myself it didn’t matter because I had plans of getting a full sleeve and it would all blend in eventually. So as stupid as this may be I got another one. This time it was not what I asked for at all. The tattoo was rushed, it looked nothing like the design I showed them. I almost immediately realized that I didn’t like it. And now 2 years later I am getting laser tattoo removal every 6-8 weeks, and it’s $300 a session. Oh and it hurts about 10 times worse than getting the tattoos. Young woman, this is my warming to you. Just don’t do it. And if you do make it small, at least for your first one and see how you feel. Pick something that if you’re going to wear a t-shirt and jeans that it won’t show. Your life is going to change, that’s true for all of us. Just really think it through because once you get in there, they don’t care to put whatever on you. Don’t trust them to make sure that you’re going to be happy with it a year from now. And always talk to someone that cares about you and get their opinion on the design. Because most tattoo artists just don’t care about you like that. And that’s not their job, so just know what you’re asking for is what you really want.

I actually didn’t get a tattoo or piercing done here but i visited to see about their apprenticeships and let me just say, these are some of the NICEST people i’ve talked to; their studio is clean, has super sick decorations and art, and their artists are SO talented. i can’t recommend them enough!!! 1000/10

I searched and searched before deciding on a place that had good reviews for a piercer. Kels(sp) was amazing! I got my nipples pierced and Kels was so encouraging and did such a good job. I will be coming back to get more piercings done from this shop.I am not sure why but some tattoo shops no longer have piercers.Highly recommend Kels though!Oh, also the Halloween Market-Dodge City Tattoo Company had on Friday the 13th was so fun! I hope they continue to do similar events in the future.

I seriously can not recommend them enough!I havent gotten any work done here yet, but I stopped by to ask some questions and they were super nice and helpful! I was nervous about going it without knowing very much at all, but the people who work here are super patient and friendly. Ill definitely be coming here when the time comes!

I’ve had several tattoos done before and for years I’d been to the same studio. This was my first experience at Dodge City Tattoo. I must say I was very impressed. Rene was my artist and she did an awesome job. When you get a tattoo, you sort of have a mental picture of what you are looking for. And sure enough, when Rene was finished, there it was. Just as I had imagined. I would definitely recommend Dodge City Tattoo and if you’re fortunate enough to get Rene, you won’t be disappointed. There are several other artists at Dodge City Tattoo and based on what I saw, they’re all good. I was a walk-in for a custom forearm piece. My artist was Bri and she was absolutely fabulous! Her personality was great, which made the process easy, she was respectful and kind. She is definitely an artist and offered suggestions on size, etc, to make sure she understood exactly what I wanted. She was clean and thorough, everything was sanitized and brand new, she even talked to me about the soaps and inks and equipment she was using, and made sure when she stenciled that it was exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it to look. There was definitely pain involved, which is normal, but she was easy and smooth. She knew what she was doing in a way that only someone with experience and knowledge can know. I have several tattoos from several different shops and artists, but if I can, I will more than likely only come back to Dodge City Tattoo and see Bri. The shop was clean and I was welcomed at the door when I walked in. The other employees made small talk and answered any questions I had about payment and paperwork. They honestly made it so easy. The shop is really cool with unique books and decor. They do appointments and walkins so they can serve as many customers as possible each day. Their pricing is great, about what youd expect from good artists and a good shop that respects their own work. They are cash only, but they have an atm inside the store. Their aftercare instructions were spot-on, and I could tell they kept up with the latest research on tatto care. When you do your paperwork, they actually email you a copy with your aftercare instructions and contact info in case something does go wrong, so you have all the info on your phone instead of having to keep up with a paper. They have these little tins of salve available for purchase that are all-natural ingredients like coconut oil, olive oil, and essential oils like lavender. Its the best stuff Ive ever used on a tattoo! It doesnt pull the ink out, or keep it too wet or sticky. It keeps the tattoo moisturized so it doesnt dry out and hurt or get itchy. Honestly you can use this salve for almost anything! Ive used it on my 2 yr old and it worked great! If youre looking for the place to go get your first tattoo, or your next tattoo, I highly recommend Dodge City Tattoo Company. It was for real, one of my best experiences getting ink. I am very glad I chose them.

I came in the other day and Lance gave me 4 piercings, he’s good at making you feel comfortable about it and he pierces very fast and smoothly. I also got a script tat on my arm by René and she did very good, she has really good line work and definitely knows what she’s doing. The staff is super friendly and has great prices. If I need anything else done I’m definitely come back here.

I haven’t had great experiences in the past with tattoo shops; my first tattoo which held great meaning to me basically got made fun of by the artist. So needless to say I didn’t have very high expectations of coming here, but let me tell you, it was a wonderful experience and I plan on going back for ANY tattoos I want. Everyone was so friendly and professional and everything was clean, not to mention the atmosphere was so laid back and they were immediately cutting up with you like they’ve known you forever. My tattoo from the gumball machine turned out fantastic, the process was smooth, the price was very reasonable, and I was taken care of. This shop is wonderful and I sincerely hope they grow and prosper!

We talked to Trish and she gave us a price and said she had time tonight. Trish did a awesome job on my butterfly tattoo on my foot. Brandy did my husband tattoo ( In God we trust) she did a awesome job. We both love our new tattoo thank you ladies.

I got my nose pierced here about a week ago, and the shop was amazing! It was very clean and everyone was very nice. Misty helped me decide on what jewelry and size to use and explained the process very well beforehand. She does her job very well and made me and my sisters feel very comfortable. John even joked around with us which was very nice. I will definitely be back!!

We had a great experience here! We had 3 people get Roman numeral tattoos and 2 of the 3 was their first time. We were treated like regulars and Renea was very professional. She was very thorough in explaining how the whole process works and she did a great job! We got quoted a price in Birmingham that was double what we payed here at Dodge city and their work was top notch! I will 100% be back.

Very nice ppl, very nice and clean tattoo shop. I do wish they had tattoo artist for walk ins. I wanted to get a tattoo but was told that I would have to make a appointment and Id have to pay a $50 deposit to hold the appointment and the appointment would be a month out. From pictures Ive seen they do good work but I cant pay $50 to make a appointment a month out because something may come up and I cant make the appointment Ive lost $50. I think theyd get a lot more business if they had good artist for walk ins. My wife did get a piercing and they did a great job my wife was really pleased with her whole experience. Ive just always been able to walk in to a tattoo shop and they would have someone there to sit down and design a tat that I wanted and give me a price right then and get it done. Maybe Im not use to the whole appointment thing. But Im sure they do good work.

Lisa performed a piercing on me and out of the multiple I’ve had, she was by far the best at going out of her way to make you comfortable and make your experience great! The shop was so clean and I felt very welcomed! Most tattoo places I have been too have been very intimidating with rude employees but Dodge City Tattoo one definitely raises the bar for everywhere else! I spoke with John about a tattoo covering and he showed me his beautiful flawless work. I have three “homes” in different states and I will be coming to them for every piercing and tattoo itch I get.

Ive had a tattoo done by Kortni, and I absolutely love it.. Ive also had John rework an outline I got from a different shop. Let me tell you, he had his work cut out for him. And he worked his magic. I never thought Id be proud of that tattoo on my shoulder, but after he finished it, I was blown away. Im so happy with how it came out. This shop is full of great artists who really go the extra mile to make your experience a good one.

Had matching tattoos done on my wife and daughter here today. Place is amazing. John and staff are the best at what they do. We have been looking for a new tattoo place for almost 2 years since we moved here. Guess what? We found it. From the first time I spoke with him I knew this was gonna be our new spot. I have recommended this tattoo shop to at least 10 people. I loved there work they have tattooed me before but when I went up there to have a problem with my tattoo they did yesterday fixed they were NOT helpful at all and did even want to try to fixed what I wanted. I even said I would pay for it I just wanted it fixed. Very disappointed. Would not recommend to anyone anymore.I walked out of the shop crying. Just wow.

I absolutely loved this place!! It was my first time being pierced and I was really nervous, not even gonna lie. The woman who did the piercing, Emily I believe, was an ABSOLUTE sweetheart. She made multiple jokes to lighten the mood and to calm me down and she did her job quickly and seamlessly. I will FOR SURE be back!!!

I love this shop. The atmosphere is clean and great, and the artist do amazing work. I dont mind driving almost a hour just to get tattooed by John. They have the best customer service. Anyone who says anything different was surely asking for something illegal or unreasonable and just didnt get his or her way. Best shop in Alabama.

Misty will take care of all your piercing need. They ONLY use high quality jewelry. Dont let the false judgment made against John discourage you, that im sure is another shop in disguise writing bad reviews. John has never had roaches and has never been there intoxicated. I have to laugh that they have to say that about John because their art CANT talk for itself. John is the man you want to ink you.
