They had pride flag jewelry & a pronoun dropdown menu on their release form, too, so it felt very inclusive and safe there. Jay did a great job with my helix piercing & I cant wait to go back and get more done!

Jays sterile technique would put many health care professionals to shame. This is quite a professional establishment. The staff is courteous and friendly and helpful. Go early! This place rules! Jay was knowledgeable and friendly from the second I walked in, dude knows exactly what hes doing. He took the time to make sure the piercings were centered and symmetrical, and explained everything to me in a non condescending way. The shop felt very clean and cozy and even made me feel comfortable depite being an extremely anxious person. He even went above and beyond and gave me some advice on what to do to for a piercing (different shop) that I wasnt totally satisfied with.The girl at the front desk was also super chill and very nice to get me in the same day I called. I love Sky Blue Piercing. I went here because I have been trying to find a piercing place that could help me with my nose bump. I have been dealing with the bump for over a year. I had been to 3 other places and they never could resolve the issue. The minute I walked into Sky Blue Piercing, I knew I found the right place that could help me. They made me feel right at ease. Everybody is very nice. And it is very clean. Jay the owner is the best. He told me exactly what I need to do. And not what to do. Within 6 months my bump is totally gone. I cannot thank Jay enough. I had a great experience. I was greeted by Katie and Jay when I walked in and they were both very nice. They helped me pick out jewelry and Jay recommended a better placement for one of the piercings I got which I really appreciate. We also changed the jewelry on my nostril piercing, I still had the initial jewelry in it from when I got it pierced and it was too long and I didnt like it, now I love my piercing again! If I decide to get more piercings Ill definitely come back.

Big mistake on going here. I went for a couple of piercings a month ago. These were not my first piercings, so I had an idea of cost and what to expect. When I first walked in, I was met by Katie, who was super friendly and nice. However, when Jay came over, the owner, to discuss what I wanted and go over the earrings he made me feel like I was bothering him, very arrogant. He seemed annoyed by my questions and made me feel like he was doing me a favor instead of making me, the customer, feel welcomed. I should have followed my gut and left. His prices for the earrings and piercings were....fair. However, he upcharges on things that two other places I have gone to, dont charge for. Besides my two piercings, I was also changing an earring, buying one from him and replacing with one I had in my ear. He wouldnt allow me to remove my earring myself and charged me extra to remove it. This was after knowing what I was spending already that day. When buying earrings, it would make sense that the posts are part of the price UNLESS otherwise SPECIFICALLY told, which he didnt mention. I mean how can you wear an earring in your ear with no post? I wasnt told until all was done that besides the cost of the earring, I had to pay additional for the posts. When coming back to shorten my posts, as advised by Jay, I didnt mind a fee for his time and paying for the new posts. However, yes after paying all the money I did he could have given a discount. I got a piercing at Tattoo Galaxy and they told me after the 4 weeks of healing to come back to shorten the posts and they wouldnt charge me for it, since I got the piercings there.What got me is I asked him to switch where two earrings were placed that he was changing the posts for anyway as one was getting caught in my hair. He wanted to charge another fee for that. I told him his upcharges were a bit much. His response, well go somewhere else then. So, I did the same night. He was going to charge me about $30/$35 I believe for his time, the place I ended up going to charged me 10. The fee for switching the place of two earrings...no charge. Personality of the piercer - couldnt have been nicer. Totally should have gone there in the first place.

I’ve gotten all my piercings with Jay and every single one has been perfect! Really knowledgeable and pleasant experience. He knows what he’s doing!! You can 100% trust him with all your piercings and is also honest if you don’t have the right autonomy for one. Super professional. The shop is also really clean and just overall a good experience.

I got 2 conch piercings at Sky Blue and I could not have been more satisfied! The piercings and jewelry were fairly priced and Jay was by far the friendliest piercer I have been to! What a positive experience. Ive never had a needle piercing, only gun piercings years ago. What a difference, my helix piercing went smoothly. Most importantly, Jay is amazing. Do not go here, i got pierced a couple months back in june. cleaned it daily, using neilmed spray and sea salt soaks. i always took care of it in the best way possible. my piercings developed bumps a month later. they were always filled with pus, would constantly go down them come back again. it would never get better. even had it upsized at this same shop thinking it’d do something because i thought it was just new piercing irritation. but no, it instead got WORSE. i took all the piercings out, cause i got so fed up. the day after taking them out the bumps were practically GONE. this shop does not use good jewelry, they suck. jewelry was the PROBLEM!! and prices are insane.EDIT:Once i took the jewelry out, i put in new jewelry from a site called “pierced universe” the day AFTER, the bumps were practically gone. it was definitely the jewelry that was originally the problem.

First time here for a forward helix piercing and it was just a phenomenal experience!The staff were friendly, the studio nice,clean and relaxing. Jay did an awesome job on the piercing. He took his time to walk me through it and made sure the placing looked good.If you are looking for a piercing, I highly recommend them.

Jay has done all 16 of my piercings starting from the time I was 15, and I am now 20. I just recently visited his new shop for a navel and forward helix piercing. Not only is Jay one of the friendliest guys I’ve ever met, but he is for sure the best piecer around. Always extremely clean, he makes the piercing process super quick, and always explains everything down to the littlest details so you understand what’s going on. On top of that, he has an amazing selection of jewelry. I think everyone who meets him can tell that Jay really loves what he does, and really really cares/values all of his customers. I highly highly recommend going to him for any of ur piercing needs.

Jay did my first nostril piercing at his old location. I’ve since been back a couple times for ring changes and most recently got a helix piercing. I also just spontaneously decided to get a 2nd nostril. Jay is awesome every time. Shop is clean, he’s professional & not intimidating, and he explains everything he’s doing when he does it. I had a lot of problems with piercings in the past (infections, rejections, irritation bumps etc.) but the 2 piercings I got with Jay have healed beautifully so far, and my new nostril looks so cute and I’m sure will heal just as nicely!

Another positive experience with Jay! He helped me out with some jewelry changes for an angry conch and 4 lobe piercings. The selection of jewelry was still decent despite them still building inventory. I was able to get a pretty sweet White Gold Dagger stud and clickers for my lobes. Jay thoroughly explains what and why he is doing anything in the process. He’s the best I’ve had the pleasure of going to for my piercing questions/ problems and jewelry. Very honest opinions and a realist attitude. So glad to have a place to have in my back pocket for piercing needs.

Went here for a left ear helix piercing and had a wonderful time! The booking process was streamlined, and I received a detailed, informative email about aftercare right after the appointment was confirmed. The actual piercing was easy and quick. Jay was extremely professional and explained to my daughter why she should not get her naval pierced because it wasn’t the right shape. He let her know it most likely wouldn’t take and eventually leave a nasty scar.
