Hadnt gotten a tattoo in more than 10 years and once I got started I wanted to do more. Kyle was already great in helping with the design of the tattoo and he gave me good advice about how to proceed with expanding my existing tattoos and told me to come back in a few weeks to fill out the tattoo he just did and told me to figure out what others designs I might want to explore getting. Great vibe and helpful demeanor!

Huge shoutout to Mike!💪🏼 Best tattoo artist you could ask for, especially for American Traditional tats. Not only does he make it super easy and convenient to book an appointment, but he kills the tattoos he does Every. Damn. Time. The shop is always clean, a comfortable atmosphere, he’s a super friendly and chill dude, and Mike’s work speaks for itself. I can’t recommend this guy enough, and I have had countless people ask where I got my tattoos from. The answer is always the same. Mike is the best: 100/10

Got a Northern Cardinal from Freddie which turned out amazing. The overall experience was phenomenal from discussing the idea and booking to his aftercare instructions. Highly recommend the shop and Freddie for all your tattoo needs.

Havertown Electric Tattoo is a clean, well lit, Tattoo Artist Emporium located in the heart of Havertown. This is not a seedy Tattoo Parlor filled with drunken sailors and carnie folk. This is, upscale - think of it as more of a Friendly Neighborhood Tattoo Shop. It gets top billing from my wife and I.This is a shop with all of the edge that you expect. Full props with street cred! Michael, our artist, who sports a full sleeve and a respectable measure of swagger, was patient, courteous and professional. My wife, the nurse, took careful notice of the hygienic standards of the shop and was very pleased.We were celebrating a personal victory, and decided to commemorate with a permanent tattoo. This is a memory which will be acknowledged for the rest of our lives. Havertown Electric Tattoo offers adequate parking in front of the shop and walk ins are welcome. The cost for two tattoos, about 1 and a half inches each, outline only, (no color), cost us a total of $200, (plus a tip). I’ve gone to Pat for all of my tattoos and have always had a great experience. Shop is clean and atmosphere is perfect. Artists are friendly and definitely know how to put you at ease to enjoy the process. I will be a customer for life!

I had an amazing experience with Freddy. He made me feel super comfortable, and I even forgot at points that I was being tattooed because we were having such a nice conversation. Don’t let the handful of bad reviews deter you from this place. Any tattoo shop will give you problems if you don’t contact the artist directly beforehand. I 100% will be going here for my next tattoo.

My wife went to get a memorial tattoo for her daughter. The price was great studio was real comfortable. Shes going back for more.

My sister wanted to get a tattoo, (shes never had one). She inquired on Monday about setting up an appointment for Friday. She was told by Pat that Friday is an open day which meant that no appointment was necessary. Pat even confirmed that info for her. So, today, my brother who flew up from Florida took my sister to the shop to get a tattoo to commerate the Eagles Super Bowl win. It is his birthday gift to her! They arrived at noon which is the opening time for the shop. The shop was not open! They waited and at 12:20 a guy named Josh opened up. My brother and sister went in and were told by Josh that he could not be of service to them. Josh arrogantly told them: I am an artist and no one makes appointments for me! I make appointments for me! Josh rudely explained that he had an appointment at 1:30 so would not be able to take her. HE NEVER OFFERED AN ALTERNATIVE!!! If Josh was in a bad mood he had no right to take it out on my sister! She did tell him that she was going to give a bad review on their web site and he just shrugged like no big deal!!! In my opinion this is no way for a potential client to be treated!!! JOSH needs to come down off his self built pedestal because there are plenty of artist who would love to have my sisters business!!! My sister is a Havertown resident and always buys from and supports local businesses!!! Shell be spreading the word about how disrespectfully she was treated as will I. Obviously, Havertown Electric Tattoo doesnt need clients! Evidently they get enough!!! As you can see below their web site logo clearly states that WALK-INS ARE WELCOME!!!

I read the bad reviews first, like I always do (not sure if that’s a good idea lol) and while they are old it’s always funny to me seeing the type of ones I saw here. These people are tattoo artists/artists in general and you are not their only customer. If you want something done and done right. Communicate, and do it well. Stay on top of it. And follow common sense etiquette. With that being said. I called ahead asking if they accept walk ins and they gentleman who answered was straight forward in saying “yes but it’s first come first serve”. Perfect. (For the non communicators in the bad reviews that means you should have 0 expectations of being seen right away if at all). So I took a shot and went over. I have a lot of tattoos but have never been here and always nervous to venture out of my “go to” spot. I walked in and Heath helped me out right away. I wanted a name tatted on my finger. A probably annoyingly long name that at first he didn’t feel comfortable doing as it was so long he didn’t think it would come out right. I insisted because I’m stubborn and he FUXKING killed it. It looks so good and he free handed the entire thing on the spot. Super laid back guy. And I will 100% be going back in the near future to get more work from him. Thank you heath.

I’ve only been here once (so far!) but my experience here was great. I walked in early on a Thursday unannounced, and both the artists on site were booked for the day. I had a pretty crude drawing from my 3 year-old that I wanted copied to my arm, and one of the gents on site, Heath (more on him later), penciled me in for first-thing Friday. I didn’t catch the other gentleman’s name that was working at the time (long-ish light hair) but but he was super friendly and helpful in hooking me up with Heath.Anyway, I pop in early Friday and had the best hour and a half I’ve ever had in a chair. Heath is a super personable and charasmatic cat! He does a great job of keeping the conversation flowing if you need to be distracted a bit (like me). The man can hold a conversation about anything, but more than that, he knows what he’s talking about.😂I suppose it’s worth mentioning that beyond the time we’ll-spent, I couldn’t be happier with the ink job and my (now 5 year-old) son was STOKED when he saw it. Thanks Heath!🤘

I’ve been getting tattooed by Pat Moser since before the pandemic and his work is amazing!!!! He is professional and kind and I couldn’t be happier since I started coming here. I also have tattoos by Fred, Brian, and Fritz, and they are great as well. Definitely recommend coming here if you want to get tatted, Pat really is the best tho his work is so clean and awesome and he is an amazing person overall I always go to him now for my tats!:)❤️

Pat Moser is not only a very detailed tattoo artist but he is also very nice and welcoming to anyone that is looking for a new tattoo. He will offer you creative ideas to make your new tattoo even better than you were thinking. He makes sure you are comfortable through the whole tattoo session. I wouldn’t go anywhere else to get a tattoo. Very reasonable prices as well, thank you Pat!

Went in for a walk-in and was met by Heath who was energetic and enthusiastic. He made my first tattoo experience awesome and he is a great and multi talented artist. Very pleased with the professionalism and the cleanliness of the shop. Highly recommend.

I have three old tattoos I wanted to get re-inked and talk about getting three new ones so I stopped in last night. Brain and Fritz initially didnt seem convinced the re-ink job would come out too well but Brian did an amazing job. Honestly I am happier with my tattoos now than when they were new! I was also more that pleased with the price. The shop is clean, neat, well lit and friendly. Im looking forward to scheduling my new tattoos!!!

One of the few tattoo shops that I could do a walk-in and get my tattoo done. Most places wanted an appointment. I spoke with Mike who said come on in! He not only did one but two small tattoos for me! He is a very nice talented artist who I will be going back to so I can continue on my sleeve! Thanks Mike I really appreciate you taking me and giving me two beautiful tattoos! I also want to say that Mike’s line work is spot on! Can’t wait to have him do another tattoo for me!

My experience at Havertown Tattoo was amazing. I went to get my first tattoo and was greeted and tended to right away. The artist I had was Josh Hoffman and he made this the best experience it possible could. He talked to me the whole time joking around with me which helped me through my first tattoo. His work was also astonishing. I highly recommend Josh for any first time and returning tattoo customers. Easy 5/5 thanks for the experience, won’t forget it

Walked in and scheduled an appointment for a tattoo, Heath tells me he can do it in two weeks, I give him 100 dollar deposit, he took a picture of the design I wanted. Measured the area I wanted it. Two weeks later ... I lay down in bed the night before the tattoo was supposed to happen, get a text from Heath saying he had my number down but didnt know what he was tattooing. I was in shock, the guy didnt write anything down? Was quick to take my money but cant be organized and prepared enough? How do you text someone at the very last minute, very unprofessional. HORRIBLE customer service especially when I was willing to pay the thousand dollar bill for the tattoo.

Mike is amazing! Tried his best to get you in and makes incredible drawings and designs!! The whole crew is professional and personable. They are reasonably priced as well as talented, 10/10 would recommend.

My son and I decided we were going to inquire about tattoos today to get an estimate.Pat greeted us and in less than an hour I had a fantastic Amazing tattoo that he created and added his own flair to make my tattoo UniqueMy sons tattoo is a sketch his girlfriend created and Pat duplicated the original. Clean and Quick place to get a great tattoo. Everyone was super nice inside of the shop and ensured they made everything exactly how I wanted it. He did 3 members of my family in a row. Awesome experience.

Set appointment with Steve, he was real easy to work with. Tattoo day came he was there ready to go with what I wanted, loved his drawing and didnt need to change a thing.His tattooing style is smooth and fast, got the ink deep without tearing me up and it healed with no issues. Consummate professional, skilled, good dude all around.Steve is the only guy I will get tattooed by on the East Coast.

The people there made me and my friend feel very welcome. They treated us with respect and were very patient with how indicisive we were since it was our first time getting tattoos. They did a great job on the tattoos and allowed all our special design requests. They were simply AWESOME and I recommend them to everyone.

A top notch example of a tattoo parlor. It was a humid day, thick clouds dotted the otherwise bright blue sky above my head. I gingerly ascended the concrete stairs before me and opened the nostalgic, old school rock and roll door.My eyes were met by a brilliant, friendly man with a beautiful head shape. His name is Heath or as I call him now, Heath the BEAST! what an amazing tattoo artist; technically skilled, clear communication and a dedicated father! Heath the BEAST gets a 10 outta 10 from me

This place is great!!!! Brian Patton is a great guy and really can tattoo!!! Drew Rash is also gonna be there once a week and he is just a great tattooer!!! Doug Hand will put a killer tattoo on you or a hole through you!! (Yes the do body piercing!!!!!) One of the nicest shops Ive ever been in. Lots of awesome flash on the walls!!! If you are in the area you should check this place out and I promise you wont be disappointed...

Pat Moser is the best! He is so polite and extremely talented. This was not my first tattoo but i will never go anywhere else. Place is clean, friendly and the music is very cool (not heavy metal haha). Love my tat!!!!

Josh did a memorial tattoo for my old Rottweiler. The portrait he drew has so much detail. Really makes it like Cleo came back to life. Can tell Josh takes pride in his work. Will definitely go back. Really clean environment, too. Highly recommend.

Josh did an amazing job with both my tattoos. Very clean and friendly atmosphere, reasonably priced. Did both my tattoos on the same night and I was still out of the shop within good time.

Just had my second piece done by Pat who is super nice and has fun ideas (although I really wanted to dislike/punch him when he inked my sternum) and good tableside banter. He captured my idea beautifully. I take a star away b/c I thought it odd that the shop owner was handling a minor reno project, hammering and whatnot, for part of the time while my work was being done. Dust and noise prob not the best for a tense (me) situation. I have a few other ideas and would def go back/recommend.

I went in for my second tattoo at Haverford Electric today. I fully admit to not being terribly experienced in this and I told them when I walked in that I wasnt exactly sure what I wanted beyond the text and general location on my body. The artist I talked to did discuss my options with me, but I needed to pick out a font. Note that I had called in a few days ago to make an appointment and was told that walk-ins were preferred.They use a computer to help with fonts that they dont draw by hand. Unfortunately it stopped working and we couldnt change the text back to the font I liked. This wasnt their fault and I couldnt figure it out either.Heres where things get upsetting. He did not seem to even remotely care that I wasnt going to be able to get my tattoo today. I asked what they would normally do in the case of this happening and the artist said he would draw it. I asked if he remembered what the font I liked looked like. He just flat out said no and didnt offer to help me further. I mentioned that it was disappointing because I was looking forward to getting it done today. He replied well sometimes things just arent in the cards. Maybe he was annoyed at me or just didnt like me, but dismissing me without even a slight apology like that was extremely unprofessional and made me feel very uncomfortable. I wont be returning.

Even though I was told by Pat on Monday July 1st there were no appointments needed for Friday, July 6th when I arrived at 12:20, I was there at 12pm, Josh did not arrive until 12:20, Josh rudely told me he would not be able to tattoo the Philadelphia Eagles logo because he had a 1:30 appointment. Did not care when I explained that Pat told me an appointment was not needed.

Pat was great! He was easy to talk to and did a great job on my tattoo. I would definately recommend him to my friends!

Josh killed it! I had a very old tattoo that I hated and josh was able to make it look like what I had wanted almost 20 years ago! Highly highly highly recommend. Wish I could post a before and after picture but josh is a true artist.

I got an old basement tattoo covered by pat moser back in 2018 and he has done almost all my tattoos since then. he does clean work and is always accommodating and super friendly. filadelphia phreddie did an impulse tattoo for me and did an amazing job as well. tiffany is always a joy to chat with while getting work done. ive gotten small and larger pieces done and the pricing is always reasonable. i get tons of compliments on my tattoos, and i will always refer people to this shop.
