Underground Tattoo Station

My husband and I both have gotten numerous tattoos by several artists at underground! They always have amazing service, and we feel so comfortable and welcome in the shop. It always feels clean, and we are always thrilled with the results! We have sent several friends and family to the shop too, and they have left satisfied!

I was looking to get a few piercings done, This was my first time at Underground Tattoo Station and I was so very impressed. The shop was extremely clean and the staff worked quickly to make sure I had been taken care of! Shidoshi, the piercer there did a couple piercings for me, one being my lip. I am so happy with how they turned out! He took his time with me and talked me through the entire process! I was unsure of what I should get done and he helped me decide what would look best! He was great all around! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to get a piercing, and will definitely be returning myself!

I finally stopped in to get my nose pierced upon the encouragement of my ten-year-old daughter, and Im so glad I did! John, the piercer, was extremely knowledgeable and answered every question I had thoroughly and patiently and talked me through every step. The piercing was quick and relatively painless! I couldnt have asked for a better experience!

I went to Underground Tattoo Station to get my nostril pierced. Shidoshi did a stellar job, and it was a great experience. I highly recommend this piercer to help you in your piercing needs. Very positive and great environment, I’m usually terrified of getting piercings but they made the entire experience so pleasant and easy! Safe to say if I need any piercings from here on out this is the place to go! I got two nostril piercings, one on each side and shidoshi samurai made the process quick and easy!

I got a piercing. Very nice all around. Likes to get to know you and does very well with giving you info. Would recommend to anyone to go and get a piercing. Reasonably priced as well.

I had a great experience here. Shidoshi was knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The shop was clean, and the people working there were quick to acknowledge customers walking in. Shidoshi was able extend two preexisting vertical conchs into two conch to conch industrials. The alignment on both of these is perfect. I feel zero pressure on either of the new piercings.Would definitely recommend, and will be returning myself.

I took my daughter here for her ear piercings and the guy who did it did a fabulous job. He was really patient and talked to her the whole time to make her feel comfortable. I would recommend this place for anyone getting their kids ears pierced.

First time here and definitely will come back for my piercing needs. Shidoshi was great with communication through the whole thing and very friendly. Left with an amazing looking piercing and couldnt be happier!

Bought my twin daughters in for their second ear piercings. Shidoshi did their piercings and I can not speak more highly of him and how he took his time with them. The place is EXTREMELY clean and staff was very nice. I was very impressed. Thank you Shidoshi and much success to you!

I got my nose piercing here and the lady told me all the wrong ways to clean my piercing, which I later found out by other piercing places that’s why my nose piercing got infected even though I “cleaned” it the way she told me to multiple times a day. Not to mention trying to get an appointment with her is impossible and every time I would go into the shop when they claim she would be there, she wouldn’t be. This happened on several occasions. Severely unprofessional and when she was on a leave, one of the tattoo artists took her place and ended up putting a 16G jewelry piece in my 18G nose piercing hole when I asked for a jewelry swap. This made my nose piercing take 10x longer to heal and now I have a permanent bump on my nose because of the incorrect ways they told me to clean my piercing and the piercing having to take longer to heal from the jewelry incident. I do not recommend this place at all, and if you want to get a piercing you should definitely go somewhere else.

Took my daughter her to get her helix pierced. Shidoshi did an fantastic job! He talked her through the whole process putting her nerves at ease. Will only go to Shidoshi for all my family piercing needs.

My girlfriend got her double flat piercing here. The staff was very nice and the place was clean. The only thing was that she took a while to do the piercings and was touching them more causing my girlfriend to be in much more pain than she needed. Other than that, the piercings healed beautifully and we would recommend going here!

It has been a while since I got any ink done. My sister, Christina, talked me into getting a sibling tattoo with her. She told me Underground Tattoo Station has a gumball machine that has random Get What You Get tattoo designs. Turns out she and I BOTH got bird designs! Not only that, they are the same species too! What are the odds!!?? Our artist, Makayla did amazing work! I have had work done here before, so that is why I came back.

My daughters and i went and got matching memorial tattoos for my dad/their Grandpa that passed away in December. It was my first tattoo and their 3rd and 5th tattoo. Underground tattoo is a nice place, very clean. Zach is great! Very professional and does excellent work. Will definitely be back

Do not go here if you want a piercing. Piercer has no idea what shes doing. Pierced in the wrong spot, called me and lied about the owner going out of town. Now they will only do a half refund. She was rude and didnt even mark where to pierce just shoved the thing in without any markings or making sure its where we wanted them lied to the owner and said I wasnt even in the room. Which is ILLEGAL because my daughter is a minor. So do not go here if you want it done right!

I go here for all of my tattoo work. Zach and Mike are some of the best tattoo artist in the area and their piercer Miranda is always super nice and helpful. Its hard not to have a good time when I go in for an appointment. Would highly recommend to anybody.

I have gone into this store three separate times to get my nose ring changed. I had originally got my piercing there. Every time I could not find help. This last time the younger woman who does the piercings said she was to busy to help me, even though there was no other client. She said to get the jewelry and do it myself which I’m not comfortable or familiar with. I explained that to her, she didn’t care even a little. Extremely rude and dismissive. Literally the worst customer service experience. Will never go back!!

I had Payton do my 3rd piercings and I am going back to have my lip pierced! She did amazing! Told me step by step what she was doing. Used all new sterile needles. The place is super clean! And staff is super friendly! I highly recommend! I even drive from Columbus! Its rare to find a good legit piercer!

Got exactly what I wanted and more. Zack made some suggestions at the end of the session that I loved and he added the white onto the katana. Great experience and will 100% be coming back time and time again.

This place seemed like a great option since it was close to me. I scheduled an appointment for a couple ear piercings weeks in advance. I waited in excitement to finally do something I had waited all summer to do. 5 minutes before I had to leave my mom called to make sure that everything was still scheduled. Since they were supposed to call to confirm. They said that their piercer was on vacation and that we will have to just schedule when she gets back. Even though we already scheduled. She quickly put us on hold with no intention on picking up again. We sat there on hold forever and we ended up having to just hang up. Made me super sad. And plus they are unorganized and unprofessional in the little interaction we had with them. One star.

I came in for an ear piercing with Payton Stone . She was extremely professional and patient with me . Explaining the step by step process of what to expect with my new piercing and my after care. . She wore gloves and ensured every thing was fully sanitized . I truly enjoyed my overall experience and will recommend her to all of my friends, family , and coworkers .Thank you Payton for a wonderful and relaxing experience !

My finance got her belly button pierced almost a year ago it had never healed been constantly bothering her. She has anxiety so she went to get it changed to anther belly ring in case it was the Jewelry. The place we went to change it said it was pierced horribly wrong and it’s even super crooked he offered to re do it for free bc it was so badly done and crooked. For $80 that’s not at all what I paid for. Will never use this business again especially not for piercing. Also while she was getting it done the lady doing it missed and stabbed her stomach with the needle and had to re do it. Horrible experience.

Five stars just for the shop.. and the owner of being professional and a great guy, my artist was Eric. He kept canceling on me and I would be understanding and reschedule but mostly last minute cancellations. After about 6 times of him canceling and rescheduling, I told him I could try it one more time or would go some place else he told me I can just go someplace else

My industrial piercing went great! The piercer filled out my paperwork with me and explained it all. She showed me the paper that proved my tools were clean. She was kind and quick and easy to get ahold of about concerns and questions .

I got a conch piercing from the piercer, Payton. She is absolutely amazing. Kind, understanding, knowledgable and flexible. She is super clean and changes her gloves frequently. Payton wants the piercing to last and to work, and will work with you to make that happen! 10/10 recommend her and I will be going back!

Went here for my first tattoo six months ago and Makayla did a great job. Called to schedule an appointment and they told me to come in, see what I want, and schedule an appointment. I drove there within twenty minutes and cars were in the parking lot but the doors were locked and no one answered when I knocked. I would recommend scheduling with Empire Tattoo down the street. They are much friendlier, cleaner, and the door is unlocked during business hours.

I took my daughter here on her 16th birthday to get her septom pierced. The piercer was not there at the scheduled time and we were told she was dealing with a mentally ill family member so we waited for 45 minutes. She finally showed and told us she had car trouble. No ID was looked at by anyone at any point. Nor was any paperwork filled out. My daughter scheduled with the same piercer to have her eyebrow done today. Went in and the piercer again was not there. This time we were told by the owner that she was at a Dr appt and we could wait an hour, leave and come back or he could do it for us once he was done with what he was doing. This is the only reason I am giving this place any stars. We were already at a different place. They got us in right away. And it was quite a bit cheaper.

Tattoo Mikayla did was good & means a lot to me. I set up another appointment and showed up 10min early but door was locked. I waited 20 min and texted her. Asked to reschedule and never got an answer. I was really upset about it for a few weeks. I think she was just uncomfortable with my next placement or design and did not want to tell me. I won’t return out of pure sorrow for being blown off. :(

Not very Happy! Had 2 different appointments set giving the same artist multiple chances. I would get confirmation for my appointment the night before than the day of he always had some sort of excuse rescheduling my appointment 4x between the 2 set. This last time he literally waited til the day of to draw up my tattoo than used the excuse of how it wasnt finished n how he didnt have time to finish it before my appointment to reschedule. If you didnt want to do it in the first place you shouldnt have said you could do it. Will never spend money at that shop. Will take my business elsewhere. Ive been looking forward to this tattoo for a little over a year now.

I have many tattoos and Im by far one of the pickiest when it comes to who works on my art. For example, it had been 4 years since my last tattoo. Mostly because of my experience at a previous location (that I will choose to leave unnamed). I waited 4 years, made many appointments, but never followed through because it didnt have that click or vibe I was looking for...until getting in with this shop. My whole reason for visiting this was to get a dermal piercing, my first. The piercing alone was an unbelievable and comfortable experience all around. The biggest part that surprised me was that I went in for a piercing and because of the amazing personality of everyone there, I walked out with an appointment. In just 3 weeks I have had both of my hands and half my left arm completed. Mike does my work, however everyone there is extremely talented and would do anything to make sure its clients were well taken care of and felt as though they walked out with more than what they asked for. I understand being on the fence, especially when it comes to making a decision you will live with forever. In todays world, tattoos have become way more of the norm and we see a lot of bad work. It freaks us out and it gives us that, I will never be in that situation thought. So if youre like me, and youre more scared of committing to the artist and not so much the tattoo you want. You wont go wrong giving these guys a shot. I made a giant leap in letting his first work on me be of a rose on my hand. Thats a major piece, one that I will personally notice more than the rest just due to location. I have had nothing but relief and compliments come my way. Another major component of this shop and that Mike even went out of his way to check on me. Ive never met an artist who would do that. The price is reasonable, the artwork is amazing, the atmosphere is comforting, and the people will take amazing care of you. Help these guys grow and get something that you will always cherish and never regret. My new shop for all of my work. Major thanks to everyone there. Ill continue sending as many clients as I can your way!

A great place with great people! I got a large piece on my back here at a really reasonable price. The artists are always great, and I love my tattoo. Mike Bentley has won a bunch of awards for best traditional pieces, hes a great guy to get a tat from.

Mike is amazing artist. Helped me calm during my first tattoo. Mike is very excellent at what he does. And made recommendations so that I would want to get tattooed in the future. Zac the other artist did an amazing cover up while I was there. And it turned out amazing. This shop is very clean and professional. My mom and step dad will be going to them to get some work done. They cant wait

Piercer was off her game or something. Very unorganized. Didnt clean the area before or after pushing the needle through. Wore the same gloves to run around the shop getting supplies from bfe that arent wrapped in autoclave packaging...or any packaging at all. Theres seriously no room for missing steps or being lazy. Im not trying to get hepatitis piercing hurts and very swollen. No care instructions whatsoever except if you need anything let me know.

In a different point of view, I love working here in this great environment. Everyone is very professional and clean and I feel welcomed everyday. Its always a party when youre here but we know when to buckle down and start working hard to get you exactly what you want, piercing or tattoo wise. Best shop Ive ever worked in!

Got my doubles and thirds done here separate times by different piercers in the summer of 2017 about a year and a half ago. Whoever did my second holes pierced them at a downward angle. As for my thirds... well they have never not been infected. I cleaned the piercings everyday before bed using the spray I purchased at the shop which they gaurenteed would prevent my ears from getting infected. I did not use this spray for my doubles and I wasn’t going to buy it but they insisted I did.. It did nothing. Maybe even did some negative things. My ears got infected and my body had never rejected piercings or gotten infected as I know in reference of my many other piercings. Since it was so infected and painful I finally took them out for the first time EVER after a year and a half. I left them out for roughly 16 hours and they are already closed. Basically the piercer that did my thirds did not thoroughly clean the jewelery and the piercer that did my seconds did not do it correctly. They were also very rude to me each time I went. Kept reminding me of how young I looked as if I made a fake ID that said I was 19 year old. $80+ bucks down the drain!Would only go back for a refund.

I am super happy with my tattoo by Erik! Despite a little scheduling snafu, I waited because Id heard good things and I wasnt disappointed. The attention to detail made this tattoo, that was already meaningful to me, a beautiful piece of artwork. I highly recommend!

I’ve gotten two tattoos and two piercings here, and I’ve brought in my mom for a piercing as well. Super laid back but still proffessional feel. Miranda is so good at making you laugh and feel comfortable while getting piercings, zack and Brooke each did small walk ins for me and they turned out exactly how I anticipated!

Got a new Tattoo after my moms passing, professional, excellent detail, my wife got 1 as well as we lost our mothers close together. Mine was something i figured out myself, my wifes had to be made.

This place is trash . Had my daughter on a waiting list for 2 months only to have them call the day of her app (her birthday) to say the piercer wouldnt be in due to a family emergency. I called later in the day to reschedule and the piercer answered the phone. Scheduled for the next day they call again with a bs story that the piercer was sick. If you dont want to work, dont advertise. You are trash.

If this was based on just tattoo artist Id give a 1 star. However, im giving 3 for the owner Zach. He alone made this situation tolerable and I wont hold entire business responsible for 1 persons unprofessionalism. I Had an appt with Erik. I paid $40 deposit. 2hrs before tattoo he texted to cancel. I said I understood and rescheduled the following week. On that day 1hr before tattoo he texted to again cancel but not reschedule. I texted back 6mins later and asked for deposit back. I wasnt going to be able to get my tattoo because of location and returning to work. I was out of time. I received no response from Erik at all. Not after multiple attempts. I then messaged the store via FB page. The owner Zach said he had no idea this was happening and apologized. He offered to tattoo me to make it right. I appreciated the response and consideration as Erik certainly showed none. I explained I was out if time. Over 24hrs later I received a rude text from Erik stating I was correct he would definitely not be tattooing me(again I no longer wanted one especially from him) and I could definitely come get my deposit. Im confused on how asking for my deposit back after him canceling and me being understanding and rescheduling to be cancelled on again last minute is me in the wrong. If you go I would ask for Zach. He seems professional and considerate to his clients. Erik is completely lacking of any work ethic or taking any responsibility for himself. Very disappointed in the whole experience that was supposed to be exciting.

I went in looking for some industrial jewelry. The lady in that area told me that mine was done wrong, that it would always have bumps and be disgusting and it would never heal right. She told this to me right in front of another customer all while her child was running about. She didnt pierce me, and she clearly didnt know what she was talking about. My industrial is healed up nicely. But Ill just go back to Darkwoods and spend my money there at least they dont do a separate charge for piercings and jewelry.

My balls fell of my septum the first time it was free the. The second time it was free because I brought them with me and I had blood on my nose and she wiped it off even though she did do it I rate them a 10/10 definitely recommended

I got my nose pierced today and they were super awesome. Only paid $25 for a total of the jewelry and piercing. They were super sterile and even showed me the expiration date on the needle.

I get my piercings done by Miranda. Everything is clean and done very professionally. All set up and sterilization is done right in front of the customer. Conversation is great, too!

Brook did a freakin awesome job on a last minute tattoo. Came in for the get what you get and got a custom job for like $30 more. From out of town so she did lines, shading and color all in one setting. They will be doing my next tattoo!!!!!!

Professional. Clean. Zack got me in and out and he says medium handed, he is light handed. Definitely recommend getting some ink at their establishment. Good people and good vibes. Not to mention your wallet wont feel flat when you exit. Kuddos.

I made a appointment for 2 Fridays ago, before leaving we emailed the girl who was supposed to pierce me. she answered back asking what my name was (it was in the email that we sent her) after we told her she told me i didnt have an appointment set up. now this was the only place we could find that didnt require photo id. i was going to call the shop and freak out like an idiot but i didnt. all i wanted was a septum, now i have to go out of my way to get a photo id of myself.

Looks like they just moved it... Other tattoo places Ive been to was more put together than this one. But they charge by the hour not by the tattoo. Which is a little unreasonable. But I have an appointment on the 1st with somebody whos just learning tattoos so wish me luck.

My friend referred me here. I have since gotten an entire hand worth of finger tattoos and my industrial done there. I live half an hour away and its worth the drive. Clean place, knowledge and friendly artists.

Asked to get a tattoo done owner Zach said he’d change up the design a little and have it to me within a couple days.. it’s been a couple weeks now and haven’t heard back from him..

The artists are superb, the shop is the cleanest that i have ever been to, and the people are wonderful!! This is now my permanent tattoo shop (with Brooke as my permanent tattoo artist!) I would recommend this shop to anyone and everyone!

I got a tattoo and was very happy with services and care May 2020 and I am scheduled to go back June 2021.

Kept rescheduling appointments over and over again so we went to dark woods and they did a good job. Do not recommend.
