Felipe is a flippn mad scientist! Everyone at Black Anchor is awesome. Theyve got a great atmosphere and every artist is top notch. Its a phenomenal tattooing experience where I feel like I fall in love with my torturers every time after theyve finished 😆.

I was treated like a Queen from the start to finish by the world’s best portrait artist and the team at Black Anchor. 100% recommend and can’t wait to return.

Luis is a phenomenal artist with his work. I came in with a design and he perfected it in his own way I highly recommend Black anchor collective and highly,highly recommend Luis Arias. I will be back for more tats soon

This place is super clean and professional. Its also very friendly and welcoming. The artists are fantastic. I personally come for Mat Hurtado he is fantastic. Be warned...they are on the pricey side of things but to me they are worth it.

This shop is amazing it is clean and has an amazing aesthetic my Artist Henry does an amazing job every time as this was the 4th piece i have had him do. He is responsive to questions or comments and works with you on booking the appointments. He also added his own spin on all of the pieces that i have brought to him and and i am more than satisfied with the work that he does. I will continue to go to him and this shop for all of my future work. I am attaching a shot of my most recent piece as well as a couple others that he has done. They all healed great and look as good as they did the day that they were done. I highly recommend reaching out to Henry at this shop if you want any work done. He also does an amazing job with full color pieces including the work and the design.

This is a great studio. Everyone was welcoming, friendly and accommodating. My artist was Henry Ruiz and I really cant sing his praises loud enough. Hes a visionary artist that brought the dream of my tattoo to life. I cant wait to get back there for another one. Thank you!

Love this shop, love the area its a bit hidden away from the main streets and the building is a former vet office. The parking is spacious and plenty. The inside is beautiful with tons of decor and has a hangout feel to it. Artwork all over the walls with frames. Comfortable furniture to sit and relax while you get seen. The people here have been very friendly and approachable. I love the hospitality and vibe of the shop. HorseThief was my tattoo artist shout out to him. Will be returning for sure

I love Black Anchor Tattoo. They have the best Tattoo Artist. My most recent Tattoo was with Henry Ruiz AKA Selfcultured on Instagram. I highly recommend him, he was able to create what I had in mind and added a touch of color. I went with birds of paradise and I am completely in love with it. Henry was nice enough to answer all my questions with the tattoo aftercare and to see how I was feeling. I plan on going back and adding more to my arm. Hiiiii omg so this tattoo artist that did my very first tattoo for my 18th birthday was amazing back in 2017, it was two skeleton hands on my sides. I really would like to contact the artist who did it but I cant find them anywhere! *they were masculine presenting and young at the time as well*

Clean shop, talented artists, friendly people. Two locations . Black anchor is the best. You even have the god of traditional coty.

I got two tattoos from Patrik at Black Anchor Tattoo. He was extremely professional and made the process enjoyable. His shading technique is immaculate. I’ve gotten tattoos from other artists prior to meeting Patrik and their shading abilities cannot compete with Patrik’s skill. I will absolutely return, it’s definitely worth the 2 hour drive. I highly recommend Patrick for anyone wanting simple line work to extremely detailed large pieces.

Dude I love Nikko and Mat! Not only are they an inspiration for the city of Hesperia, because lets face it, its lame here and Nikko put us on the map. Im an aspiring business owner for a D&d nerd shop and I hope one day I can get a store front and get Hesperia some hype also because thats cool as hell. Anytime Ive ever thought about a tattoo (which I need to save up for) or talked to Nikko or Mat they are so outgoing and friendly no matter what. They always message back and give you the time of day even for small questions and thats why I have so much love for these guys! So Nikko I just saw you tatted Cardi B and Offset, shes one of my favorite artists! I just think thats so cool that your dream has taken your so far and I hope one day mine will too! All my tattoos are from Joe. He’s got a great hand and smooth lines. Definitely recommend him. He’s going be your best bet if you are looking into Anime pieces or even some traditional art. Hit Him Up !

Checked out the Black Anchor Collective website, looked through the artists work, contacted Aric and booked an appointment. Employees at the shop are Professional, the entire experience went seamlessly. My tattoo is amazing, couldnt be happier.

This is one of the best tattoo shops in the country if not the world. You probably want an appointment with an artist before you get there. Its best to contact them via email first so youre not disappointed when you arrive and they are busy working on people who have been waiting months to get in to sit for work. It is well worth the wait for top quality work.

My artist is Joe. Ive been going to him for a long time. He does amazing work. I like his tattoo style. Do yourself a favor and check him out for your next tattoo, you wont regret it.

These guys are a joke. First, when I went in there was no one there in the middle of the day. I literally had to walk arou d the building to do d someone. Secondly, they dude was way to arrogant when I was just inquiring about prices. Third, speaking of prices this place is charging Hearts of Hunnigton prices, with no where near the quality of of Hog. If I could afford to pay that kind of money do you think I would go to some run down place with no name tattoo artists? No I would just go to the best.

Umbrella Face (Mike) is a super cool dude and does clean work and specializes in neo traditional. the shop inside is really cool. its like an old Victorian building full of art. pretty pricey but hey its Nicos shop after all. only reason why i docked a star is because they had a guy walk in (they have a sign inside saying they do walk ins) and asked for some script. they (Not mike, not gonna say names) gave him some crazy high price quote and joked when he left saying hell probably get it for 60 bucks somewhere else. idk maybe he thought it wasnt worth his time

This place is awesome! So far every tattoo I’ve gotten was from Tomahawk Joe and everyone there is friendly and helpful! Will definitely be going back for more tattoos.

Im working with Mat and he is fixing a HUGE mess another artist in Fullerton did. I am very happy with it and I would 100% recommend him.Also THEY DO NOT DO PIERCINGS SO STOP CALLING FOR THAT.

Havent been tattooed there but bought some stuff and looked at the artwork, everything here is high quality and its reputation is so good this review is pretty much pointless.

My wife got a piece at another shop in town and it turned out horribly. She went over to Black Anchor and they were able to save it- made it look awesome. The people were cool as hell and their work is great.

DO NOT !!!!! Go to mike riedl , AKA. Umbrella face he does not to good work. And when I was. Dissatisfied he did not want to fix it or refund me my money ... !!!! Dont be stuck with a tattoo your not happy with for the rest of your life ... take my advice go elsewhere !!!
