I had to come get my belly pierced again, and it literally healed in three weeks. No lie! I’ve gotten a tattoo from them as well. Everyone is super nice, and fun. Great experience!

Walked in for a navel piercing, the lady upfront (Robbyn) was super nice and helpful. And she also set up for my piercing right as I checked in. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes! She made sure it was super clean, very professional!

Husband and I went and got flash tattoos from Darius, he did an excellent job and you can tell he’s very passionate about what he does! He made sure the tattoos were placed in a way that they flowed with the body and took the time to ensure we were both happy with the designs! He was super friendly and professional, we came in right before their rush started and were able to both get tattooed in appropriately an hour! If you’re looking for awesome American Traditional work or just a great artist, I’d definitely recommend Darius.

I was so nervous coming in to get my belly pierced but CJ made me so comfortable. He was patient with me when deciding what I wanted and with my back and forth due to my nervousness. CJ was so efficient and quick with his work!! I would definitely come back, loved my experience today. Thank you CJ!!!

Got my septum pierced by CJ, super friendly dude and was very knowledgeable and professional. The whole staff was awesome and i had a great first experience! Fair price too!! I definitely will be back!

I’m never the kind of person to write a bad review, but sadly i am going to have to do it.i’ve wanted my belly button pierced for a while. and i decided to get it. i had taken my boyfriend with me since we were already out adventuring for the day. i was told by a friend that this place was super good and very friendly. i do get nervous going to new places because i have a super good place i normally go to, but i figured that this place would be just as could and for half the price.so when i do get there, i ask about the prices of piercings and if they have anyone available to do it.the person at the desk (didn’t catch his name) was very friendly yes, more of a kept to himself person in my opinion. but, he was the one who had done my piercing.during the process he was very nice and doing what any piercer should do. telling you to breathe in and out. and providing water if needed.i was hoping i could pick out a different belly ring, but i had to go with the standard one. which is totally fine with me.besides that, everything looked great, i even asked my boyfriend and he agreed.i have also been wanting to get a tattoo but i wasn’t sure where to go. so i figured i would just ask about how their prices looked and which artists i could get with.i was told it would be just a few minutes. but, i had waited about 30 minutes to talk to one of the artists, which i do understand he was with a client and i am a very patient person.my boyfriend is not patient on the other end and wanted to leave. so as i went to get up and leave, the guy at the desk told me to hold on and he will get the artist again. so another 5 minutes goes by and the artist comes up to me.i had asked about a tattoo that he could do for me and how much would it be. i think he said $150. to be honest, it was a smaller tattoo and i thought $150 was a lot. i know some places have a minimum of $100 a tattoo, so i wasn’t sure if that was their policy either.besides that, i kept him in mind and went on with my day. a few weeks go by and my piercing started to look… crooked? i was very upset and i asked a few friends and they even noticed.it ended up also getting extremely infected (even with daily cleaning). i had decided to just take the piercing out and let my skin heal. i will be getting it done some place else sadly…again, i hate writing bad reviews, but i was just a little upset with how it turned out.

Called in advanced to see if they offered dimple/cheek piercings, said they did and we even asked if there was any requirements and no one said anything about needing to be older than 18 to get cheek piercings. Nothing was said until we came into the shop. Waste of time. Vibe felt off too.

I got a tattoo done today by Marc and Im absolutely in love with it! It was a very nice and down to earth setting inside. All of the staff were super nice! Ill definitely be going back in the future!

Wesley did my double nose piercing he was so nice and extremely quick. I was in and out within 10 minutes with care instructions and all. Really appreciate everyone at 22 caliber for being so nice!

Wesley was very gentle and kind and VERY quick and efficient with my double nostril piercing. It was almost painless and in and out in 10 minutes! 10/10 would recommend

I saw Wes for piercings and he did a great job! He explained the process, what to expect, and talked my friend and I through the entire appointment. I ended up with 2 conch piercings, a forward helix and tragus. They turned out great and he made it as quick and painless as possible. I’ll definitely be going back to see Wes for more piercings in the future.

This is almost a year overdue long story short i live in England fiance is an ohio resident last time I saw her was September 2023...anyway we wanted some new ink...stumbled upon these guys at zucchinifest..only went there because my reaction was...really a festival of zucchini...anyway booked in with them...I now own 3 tattoos great staff loved every second of the appointment in fact I will not go anywhere else for my 4th thats how much I love this place I will travel 4 thousand miles to get ink

This place has been my tattoo place since I moved to Columbus and I’m glad it is. The artists are fun to chat with and everyone is knowledgeable. It also has a lot of decor that’s fun to walk around and look at.

My boyfriend had passed and I wanted to get a small Name tat. One artist refused to tattoo a name on me. “I’m not tattooing your boyfriends name” he said. And another artist gave me a whole pep talk on why I shouldn’t get a tattoo for my boyfriend. He told me the small name tat would range from $250-$350. Sadly I don’t know any of there names I didn’t get them but the pain I feel from losing my boyfriend and these artist being so rude telling me they’re not gonna tattoo me hurt me more. I’m reading these reviews on how they’re rude and it’s very true! Even reading 22 Calibers responses to the 1 stars are rude. Be more professional. I ended up going to someone else and got the most beautiful tattoo with many details for $250. Much bigger than what I wanted in the beginning. I would literally rate y’all zero stars and I recommend no one to go here.

I got 2 piercings there today and the guy that did them was so nice and polite and he talked me through what he was gonna do and my piercings look so good I love them!

The first time I went here I got literally no joke the most perfect tattoo ever the lines are so straight you would think a machine did it it was so perfect, I feel so bad I don’t remember his name it was Brendon or Brandon or something like that .the second time I had a different artist I had Jeremy, really good conversation! Absolutely love my tattoo. He’s a little heavy handed and He did mess up the lines on the stars which obviously is upsetting just because it is a tattoo and it is permanent

Me and my cousin and brother went in yesterday to get matching flash tattoos, and the guy who did mine was super nice and did an awesome job! the secretary guy was really nice was well and super helpful when we had questions. the place is clean and the artists are all awesome and laid back, which definitely made me feel more comfortable. i’m definitely coming back next weekend lmao

Cj is amazing at his job. He takes the time to LISTEN to what you want done. I went in a few weeks ago and I had a certain earring that I wanted to wear after it healed. He listened to what I said and even took the earring I wanted and used it to help judge where to do the piercing so the earring wouldnt be loose. I finally put the earring in and it looks amazing. Its not loose or too tight!!!

Absolutely love the environment here. CJ is an absolute rockstar when it comes to piercings. Alison is a delight to interact with at the front end. They run great deals for quality work. I would definitely recommend this shop for tattoos and piercings!

4 or 5 tattoo “artist” doing absolutely nothing basically wanting me to beg them for a small name tattoo on a hand. Acting like jerks. Avoid this place and pay a little more for better customer service. This place is TRASH. I would give 0 stars if possible.Bad Review for the bad attitude, customer service, and unprofessionalism when communicating. I do not need a tattoo to review the customer service and the experience I had when walking in. No artist talked to me, just the receptionist trying to get the attention of all of your entitled “artists”. Also , most of your “tattoo artists” don’t do tattoo on hands? Give me a break. You can do better for that location bud and learn how to take the bad reviews too. You don’t take the time to reply to the good reviews but here you’re on a Sunday evening while your store is closed replying to me, says a lot about your customer service. The clients that have good things to say about your tattoo shop deserve more attention than me.

I had an amazing experience!! Dillion was super helpful from the start to the end ofthe process! He helped walk through what would look good and what would last. Super friendly and easy to work with! It was not clean and reasonably priced! It just was overall a great experience!!

Coty did mine and my mothers matching tattoos today, which is the first anniversary of my brother passing away. He was knowledgeable and gave his professional advice on placement, which we appreciated considering our initial desires for hand/finger placement. Definitely will be going back to him in the future!

I absolutely loved my experience here! I wanted to get my second ear lobe piercing and was able to do so quickly/easily. All of the staff was super nice, and I was able to have my mom in the room with me. Definitely returning for more piercings and my first tattoo!

I would give this no stars! let me explain, this will be a long one.I never REALLY wanted a tattoo, however, when my grandfather passed away, that changed. Before his passing, he wrote me a letter telling me that I could do anything I set my mind to. The letter made me very emotional and the last line of the letter was the world stands open before you step out boldly. I decided to get that tattooed on my shoulder to dedicate to my grandfathers memory (my first tattoo!) . Austin (my artist) agreed to do this tattoo and wrote down what I wanted when I made my appointment. The day I went to get it, he typed it up for me and it was PERFECT. No spelling errors, it was an awesome font, I loved it. The experience was great at first. We chatted and Austin seemed cool. After it was finished I couldnt really read it, my skin was red and it looked backwards in a mirror but I assumed it was good because the sketch was spelled correctly (and believe me, I checked!) I paid and gave him an awesome tip. When I got outside, my friend looked at it and HE SPELLED BOLDLY WRONG! I immediately started bawling, my friend informed Austin he had made the mistake and Austin tried to correct it. Luckily, he just forgot the L so it was bodly. we told him exactly where to put the L we spelled it for him at least twice. What did he do? he spelled BLODLY!! By then, I was so upset I was shaking! he assured me that he could fix it, he wanted to cover it up with a flower?? I didnt want to do that so he put skin colored ink over it and my friend watched him spell it for the last time. I was so upset and angry my experience with tattoos is ruined and he took a meaningful quote from my grandfather and destroyed it. My friend insisted we have a refund but they refused. So, we asked for my tip amount back and they wouldnt even give that back! one of the other employees there said what did you expect? none of us went to college? EXCUSE ME IM PRETTY SURE MY 7 YEAR OLD NIECE CAN SPELL BOLDLY?? finally after a couple minutes of arguing, they gave us HALF the tip back. I went home and tried to put it behind me until I realized he also forgot to cross the T in step! I had had enough! my boyfriends mom, God bless her, called Short North Tattoo in Columbus and they got me in right away to fix it. I am so grateful for Biz at Short North Tattoo. Dont waist your time. Go somewhere thats actually good where they can spell above a second grade level. First picture is the mistake (bodly and the T) , second is after Austin at 22 fixed it (still no cross on T) , third is almost a month after Biz (short north) fixed it.UPDATE: Its been about 4 months now and the skin colored ink that was put over the mistake (by 22 caliber) failed to cover it up properly. It’s very noticeable and people comment on it. My boyfriend spelled it correctly for your “artist” multiple times before the first AND second fix. My boyfriend has almost completed a 4 year degree and If I remember correctly another one of your “artists” said to me they don’t know how to spell because they “didn’t go to college.” So I think you’re underestimating my boyfriend’s literary abilities. Austin has never tried to contact me so, you must have heard some misunderstandings about this situation.

West was AMAZING, I got 2 piercings and was very quick, informative and got the job done!!!

Went with friends and all three of us got piercings. One asked not to have a butterfly back on a fresh helix piercing an the piercer shrugged and stated it doesnt really matter. Interacted with two piercers, neither of which were friendly or really helpful at talking through the process to the two who were new to getting piercings. I have been to many shops and never had a shop try to put an earring with a cheap butterfly back clasp on a fresh cartilage piercing. The clasp left no room for swelling and was horrible quality. Just pay thr extra money and go somewhere else with knowledgeable and caring staff.

I absolutely love this new tattoo! It represents remembering who I am and letting go of the past. Anthony at 22 Caliber Hilliard did a fantastic job on this piece. I LOVE IT, cant stop smiling when I look at it.

Cj was literally the rudest person Ive come across so far in 2024. I was appalled at his lack of professionalism. He gave off get out because your business is not needed or wanted here. He definitely took me out of my character and honestly he can go to hell.

I came in for my nose and ears and it went amazing. West was very professionals and open to any questions I had.

Everybody was so friendly and goofy, I immediately felt welcome. I got two different tattoos here in the course of a week and both healed quickly and beautifully. Probably my favorite tattoo shop Ive ever gone to, and I would seriously recommend trying these guys out. I was also happily surprised with their cleanliness, I saw everyone disinfecting and being very careful the whole time I was there. They also stayed later than their closing time to finish up my friends tattoo, instead of rushing it to get done and go home. We really, really appreciated that. Mega props to everyone I saw there, I was genuinely impressed.

I was greeted and the place looked nice and clean. I got back to the piercer fast but I was not pierced correctly. I was rushed and the time to get the correct placement was not used. I was not advised to come back to shorten my piercing and was spewed quick instructions before being rushed out. which is good Ive had the piercing done before so I had knowledge. After 3 weeks I am removing it and going to a place where more time for quality will be used. No review for the tattoo aspect.

Went in to 22 caliber tattoos and piercings last night and was greeted immediately by Robbyn! She was extremely friendly with amazing customer service skills! I was going to get one piercing ( my belly button re-pierced) Robbyn made me feel extremely comfortable as I was worried about my scar tissue and the process went quickly and smoothly! I ended getting my nostril pierced immediately after! I am so pleased with her I will be going back next week and bringing a friend to get Ashley piercings! I was in and out within 15 minutes which was great because I’m extremely busy and don’t have much spare time! The shop was impeccably clean and they played a wide variety of music to fit anyone and everyone’s taste! I would recommend 22 caliber to anyone! I will definitely be going back!

I went in today (12/5) to get my industrial piercing. I was helped by Robbyn Daniels who did such an amazing job. She was Super nice, patient, and very professional. I was so satisfied with my first piercing that I went ahead and got my conch pierced too. I would recommend Robbyn at 22 caliber to anyone looking to get a good piercing! 😁

I chose this studio because it had very positive reviews..... and it was close to me! I’m glad I did! Even with all the extra precautions, I got in as soon as I came. It was my first tattoo and the artist was very kind and made me feel comfortable even though I was pretty nervous. The atmosphere was very calm, yet upbeat, and everyone was friendly. They explained each step and did a really fantastic job. I will definitely come back when I want more!

My daughter and I went in after a crazy Saturday of Christmas shopping to get my daughter’s ears pierced and Robbyn was WONDERFUL! She is very professional, very informative and made my daughter feel at ease! She took her time to make sure the earrings was going to be even! She didn’t rush it and they turned out great!! I got my nostril pierced a couple weeks ago on 11/09 by Robbyn. My friend and I were taken care of immediately and were completely satisfied with our piercings. Robbyn was gentle and took her time making sure the markings were where we wanted them. It was a great experience! Very friendly and clean environment. I will definitely be returning for all the piercings/tattoos I will get in the future!

Good at doing piercings but don’t get a helix they pierce you with a regular earring and not a barbell or a hoop. Was really upset after I found out. But they are amazing at piercings they did my friends septum and he made her feel comfortable when she was really nervous. Just make sure you tell the one that does the piercing what you want cause the lady at the front has not been there long and she don’t know anything about piercings👍🏻

Not just a tattoo! This place is an experience! We had Dave do an absolute amazing tattoo for our son’s 16th birthday. Dave was amazing to work with from consultation to finishing his art. (We were impressed with his tattoo neighbor Jeremy as well 😄). The front desk was welcoming and constantly cleaning. We will never trust another tattoo shop as much….Dave and Jeremy will handle all our business for years to come!

I went in and got a tattoo today. It was my first time ever being at this tattoo shop. My husband surprised me with a tattoo for Mother’s Day and the tattoo was adding to my sleeve and it was of my sons birth month flowers so it was very important for me. The artist I had was Damien Brown and he did such an amazing job!!! He is actually an apprentice and I would have never guessed that! He did so great! I’m definitely impressed and so happy with how it’s turned out so far! Have my second session scheduled already in a couple weeks! Great job and thanks for making such a memorable tattoo for me so amazing and especially right before my first Mother’s Day 🥰❤️

I got my nose pierced & it was quick, clean & painless. He was super friendly & gave great instructions for cleaning & everything. I will be coming back in the future.

If I could give more stars I would. I went in and spoke with Jeremy about what I wanted, then we made an appointment about a month later. I went in on May 8th and the results more than surpassed my expectations. First, the place was extremely neat and clean which showed how much pride they take in the studio. The staff was fun and involved in the experience which made it more enjoyable. Jeremy was awesome and made the experience very enjoyable, which this being my first tattoo made it less stressful. Thank you to Jeremy and the entire staff for making this experience fun, Ill definitely be back!!

Yesterday my sister and I went in here for a walk in tattoo. It was of my family dogs paw print that recently passed. After talking to one guy he turned the tattoo down and said that another one should do it though. This guy David. Let me tell you for my first tattoo that was awesome. He did a great job on the paw print itself and the writy under it is beautiful. Ive already gotten compliments about the handwriting a few times. I would definitely go back here and of David is available and willing would love to get another piece from him. For sure would recommend.

Best work for the best price by the best people!Been going to Shawn for a few years now for all of my work, he’s amazing. He makes sure the shops are very clean, sanitized, following the OSHA guidelines; makes sure the staff are talented, taught well and thoroughly, and that clients are happy. I’ve never seen a bad tattoo come out of this shop, by anyone, and I’ve always left happy and very taken care of. The staff will stay late or come in on their closed days to accommodate clients, will work their asses off to make clients happy, and always ensure that their people are taken care of. Their pricing is also very, very reasonable; and they run deals all the time for customers to take advantage of.My husband and I will always support 22 Cal, and if you’re looking for good work that isn’t over priced by good people, this is the store to go to!

Appointment times mean nothing there .... very unprofessional you get told a time but once YOU show up on time you are left sitting for hours while they finish up who they are working on then they have one more after that....then why schedule a time??? The artist show up whenever just because it says they open at Noon does not mean they will actually show up At noon

My Mom and I went in to get our nose pierced. I Highly recommend getting pierced by Robbyn. She was very professional and walked us through everything she was doing step by step and made it a quick and easy process. We both love our piercing and will definitely be coming back to her for all our future piercing.

I always have a great time at 22 caliber. Ive only gotten piercings here but Ive seen some amazing work in progresses during my visit from the tattoo artists. Prompt and very courteous service every time. Ive gotten intimate piercings from here and the piercer (Matthew: IG- Matthewstabsyou) was fantastic with taking his time with placement and the process of the piercings. Ive recommended him to a friend and she had nothing but great things to say about Matt.

The staff was really nice, but I wish I trusted my gut when I came in and people were not sure of what promos were because in the end I would not have gotten two piercings or had gone there with a friend for a BOGO.When I checked in to get my piercings, I was not sure which piercing I wanted to go with my tragus and I was not given advice to help decide for my second, so I was unsure and wanted visualization before the piercings. I was not given pricing at any point until paying, and I was never shown jewlery choices or offered alternatives to the standard. I did not get to see what jewelry I was going to have for the healing time frame, and I did not get to see where I was going to be pierced prior to being pierced. I ended up calling the next day to see if I could have my jewelry changed because it did not fit my ear and was told I would have to wait a month.I went to Piercology because the two pieces of jewelry were not appropriately fitted and were hitting eachother, and was told my tragus was the wrong gauge and my daith was the wrong angle to the point they advised it be removed, allowed to heal, and repierced. Both pieces of jewelry were not fitted correctly and the jewelry was poor quality.For going here for a promo, the promo not taking place anymore and it not being known by the staff until I was paying, I regret my expensive decision of going through with my piercings.

I am not sure why we get treated the way we do we went twice to this place and trust me I thought about going the second time but I decided to give it a try. The receptionist was amazing, but the artist no comment. I asked about a tattoo she recommended an artist sent a text because she recommended to do so. Till this day I have not heard back from the artist not sure what the deal is?. But for sure not going again, there is plenty more shops where I know they actually like to do their job. Shame on me for giving them a second chance!

Using my side account for my safety. Came in to get a lip piercing done by Matthew and ended up having to come back two days later because my lip had swelled past the bar. He ended up taking it out saying he didnt have a long enough bar for my lip. And asked me to come back in two to three weeks to get it redone and that he would have a bar to fit. When I came back to get it done, he had been fired and another guy did the piercing. Pretty sure his name was Tyler. Got repierced and was assured he used a longer bar. Lip started to swell up again and when I came back and asked about it he said oh I didnt actually have longer bars, you can come back on Saturday and Ill change it. Came back on Saturday and he showed up an hour late. Was running his mouth about personal problems, which wasnt very professional. And said to come back that following Monday. All of this happened within the span of a month. This place put me through so much unnecessary pain. Luckily I was able to find a REPUTABLE piercer and had both sides of my lip done with no issue. Please do not go here!

Ive gotten two tattoos done with 22 caliber and enjoyed both times immensely. Had a trainee put on a flash tattoo, so pretty simple. The supervising pro was very courteous and concerned about how happy i was with the tattoo even though the guy honestly did a great job. My kid got some done on his shoulder and hes also happy. I doubt well look anywhere else in the future.

Robbyn pierced my nose and I love it!! I showed her where I had it previously pierced (by another parlor) and explained I was unhappy with the way it looked and she made sure she pierced it in a spot where I was happy. We were in and out of there in 15 minutes. She made sure I liked it and did it very quickly and painless. Thanks Robbyn :)

Probably the cheapest piercing shop that’s also legitimate that I know. I got 2 earlobe piercings, the piercer was professional and knew what she was doing. Paid $37 total, which is basically as cheap as piercing gun at a kid jewelry store. My sister who also got her ear lobes pierced unfortunately had infection but when she went back, they changed her piercings out at no additional cost. At first it can be a tad bit intimating to see half-naked guys getting their butt tattooed out in the open, but there is a separate enclosed space in the back that’s specifically for piercing. I recommend this place!

Watched my best friend get another piece done here! Austin Yancey does phenomenal work! I have had work done here as well; same artist too! Atmosphere is open and friendly! Usually not difficult to walk in and get a piece started and/ or finished. You will be very pleased with their talent and eye for detail!

The piercings are extremely professional and well done. The shop is very sanitary and clean. The staff is overall very friendly and welcoming. The tattoo work is good for some artists and meh with others. No artists are bad but Ive seen some that probably should have been brushing up their skills at home before going into a shop. That being said, the pricing can be fair depending on the artist.I once got a half sleeve done for about $600. Not bad. I also got a wrist tattoo from the same location for $300. A tiny, tiny wrist tattoo. The artist claimed it was based off time which was complete b.s. since he stopped for a smoke break every 10 minutes.My experience overall is good, but some artists and their skills/knowledge of the trade need to be reevaluated to really elevate this shop to the next level

I got my nostril and helix pierced by Robyn. All the equipment was clean and sterile. Also she did a amazing job making sure i was comfortable. I love my new piercings so much and would definitely go back.

Robin was awesome with my 11 year daughter who wanted her ears pierced but was a bit scared. Shes was very patient and very helpful. She got it done so quickly that my daughter didnt have time to even flinch.

I’m always so surprised to see negative reviews in regards to piercings here. I was pierced by Robbyn and had an awesome experience. I got 3 at once, my philtrum, lip, and nose. She was patient with me, friendly, and down to earth. I feel like people who are leaving negative reviews might be kinda uptight 🤷🏻‍♀️

Went there on 4/20/2018, the best experience Ive ever had hands down! I got a gift card at Christmas so I went in had my consultation and booked my appointment . The day of the appointment I walked in and was greeted by a nice young lady, I filled out my paperwork and waited for my tattoo artist to get set up. I was there a half an hour early lol . Anthony was very professional and worked like a true artist . And at the end I am very happy with my cover up!

I’ve been to all 3 locations and I can’t pick which one is my favorite! My favorite tattoo was done by Shawn Jarvis and I wanna say that is is the best quality work I’ve had done and the price was right on point with what I was intending on spending. Defiantly recommend 22 Caliber tattoo studios to all my family and friends. My daughter has an industrial and her nose done at the parsons location she is 100%satisfied and it looks perfect. We will never go anywhere else! You guys defiantly earned my five stars!

Been to the Hilliard shop and the German Village shop and been pleased every visit! Myself and my daughter have had work done and its been great! We had to wait for my daughters tattoo for a while but it was no big deal since the artist fit us in and took his time even though it ran late. He even made up for it at the end by being especially nice. All durning my daughters first tattoo he was amazing. She was very self conscious and he was very comforting. I got a tattoo cover up done at 22caliber and it was a great experience. My tattoo artist was absolutely fantastic his name was Jordyn, he was great to work with and I would definitely recommend! Everyone one who came around was nice and it made the experience more enjoyable. This is my second tattoo from there and I haven’t been disappointed yet!

I’ve seen great work on their tattoos so I figured they do good with piercings. Went with my husband to get 2 piercings for me plus his ears done. I’ve had no problem healing other piercings but these two weren’t healing and very sore and after swelling went down I noticed one piercing was crooked. I finally decided to take them out after getting no relief from them being uncomfortable and I noticed after I was pierced, they used externally threaded jewelry meaning the screw (rough) part passes through your pierced skin. Most places use internally threaded! I’ll stick to Body Jewel for my piercings now.I’d give a 4 or 5 star rating for the ink work I’ve seen done. Wish I could for the piercings

Came in last minute and wanted A finger tattoo. They did it and it looks amazing. It was my first tattoo and I was super comfortable. Everyone was so nice and I enjoyed conversations with all of the employees. A lot of people won’t do finger tattoos so I appreciate the fact that they let me know that finger tattoos usually fade but they would still do it for me.

This was my first ever tattoo so I admit i should have done more research on the place but that’s still not an excuse I booked my appointment all was fine and dandy the day of he did my stencil it looked fine my artist proceeded to go have a smoke break for like 30 mins (he made me pay for that time I think btw) and he was so heavy handed I wanted small lines minimal shading and it’s ended up with a thick ring around the entire tattoo and now (2 years later ) my tattoo is so blurred together it’s hard to tell what it even is and this summer it’s started to get really hot and itchy but I got another tattoo (my 4th) and my new artist said he had never seen scarring so bad so for a first experience awful and he wasn’t even friendly at all so if I could give 0 stars I would don’t come here 😬

I went got 2 piercings in a matter of 2 days because the first one was so quick and easy cj did both of mine the first was a Daith, and the second I got the tragus done.. he was quick and got the process done fast!!! I will be going soon for tattoo work I definitely recommend this place if you want a good piercer!

I had an appointment for noon. Artist didnt even show up to the shop until 1230- no apology or anything. I had gotten a sitter so this is valuable time for me.I had one medium tattoo done and one small. I was there until 6 pm! While I dont by any means want to suggest that I want the artist to rush, these were not my first tattoos and I was there significantly longer than average. Again, while Im paying for a sitter.Heres the kicker, I now have to go to a DIFFERENT artist at a DIFFERENT shop to FIX the tattoo I got done 3 weeks ago. The lines are spotty and the artist was too heavy handed and caused a tattoo blowout! Now I have to go somewhere else to get the blowout covered by someone that knows what they are doing.I was really hoping to make this artist my new go to guy, but now Ill never go back to the shop, and I suggest you dont either! Pay a little more for quality work

I had my septum done by Robbyn. It was a quick and easy process and was almost painless. She informed me of the stuff that could go wrong and also what can be done to fix it . Everything went great! The prices are great as well! Definitely recommend.

Went there for a nose piercing. I really appreciate their patience with me as I am on the spectrum and this was a foreign situation for me. I had to have instructions repeated and help with forms that would normally be easy and they were so kind and professional about it.

I have been going to 22 caliber for the past 3 years and I will not step foot in another tattoo studio. The owner and the staff there are very friendly all the tattoo studios are very sterile and clean. They have the best prices that you will find and they run specials all the time. So if you want quality work at affordable prices dont hesitate to go to 22 caliber for all your tattoo and piercing needs you will not be disappointed. I have never left their studio unsatisfied with any work I have had done. I have one arm sleeved and working on the other and the owner shawn jarvis is the one who has been tattooing me from the beginning he is a very talented artist and I commend him on fixing my tattoos that I had done buy someone at their home which I know a lot of us do because its cheaper but, cheaper does not always mean quality and with 22 caliber you will walk out of there with a quality tattoo that you are proud to show off. Keep up the good work guys!!! And to you Shawn thank you for all the work you have done on me I love it and I will never go anywhere else for my ink you have done exceptional work on me and I am proud to show it off and I hand out your cards to people all the time wanting to know where I have my work done. It makes me proud when people stop me and ask me who did my ink and how beautiful it is. I called two different times to ask about their tattoo specials and each time on the phone I said “okay so I can come in on Monday to get a walk in tattoo?” And their answer “yes!” Well I drive there Monday (which is a 30min drive for me) and they were closed. But I called 2 times the week prior (on Friday and Saturday) and asked the same thing about walk ins on Monday and each time was told that’s fine. Maybe their employees should learn the hours of operation before telling people who live 30mins away they can come when they are closed. I should have trusted all the negative Yelp reviews. Such an unprofessional thing to do. Go to a tattoo shop that actually knows when they’ll be open🤷🏽‍♀️

My experience was by far the best I could ask for. The professonial atmosphere at this studio is hands down the best. After my situation with a former employee pricing me a tattoo and scheduling it, I showed up to the shop to find out they were let go. This former employee planned to do it out of their home and I didnt know that nor was I comfortable. 22 caliber team came together to make an exceptional experience that Im forever grateful for. Not only an amazing tattoo they done for me, priced as the former employee gave me, but the customer service was outstanding. I will be back with no doubt and highly recommend anyone to go there. Theyre truly a blessing, they treat you like family the second you walk in the door. 💙

I went with two friends to get nose piercings. As soon as we walked in it reeked of cigarettes and when we were approached by employees and told them what we were wanting the piercer responded sarcastically with “oh fun”. The piercer was very rude to my friends and I. The piercer gave my friend a crooked septum piercing and then started to be nice to us. When we went to pay we had a gift card and they wouldn’t let us pay for all of our piercings with the gift card. Only one of us was able to use the gift card. Overall, this was a negative experience and I wouldn’t recommend going there.

My daughter got her ears pierced today by Robbyn and she was great! The place was very clean and she put my girl at ease and did a great job! It was a great experience!

22 Caliber is an absolutely wonderful tattoo/piercing shop. All of the staff are beyond nice and caring. Matt Mullens is the tattoo artist/piercer I go to. He has pierced my nose and done two of my tattoos and they turned out perfect, he listens to what you want and takes your vision and makes it into the most beautiful work of art that you will be more than happy to have on your body. The shop is super clean and very nice, and everyone who comes in is beyond friendly. I am always comfortable when Im there and feel super happy. I wouldnt wanna go anywhere else other than 22 Caliber, they will have me coming back many times.

In the industry its easy for people to lose site of what got them where they are. Shawn is not one of these people. He is truly an artist in every sense of the word. Not only will you find the best deals anywhere at any of his shops youll also be working with people who care what you get and the quality of the tattoo youre going to get, this is especially the case with Shawn. His company also takes in donations for the hungry, so they care just as much about the people in the community. Simply put, if you want great work done at a great price seek out 22 caliber. If youre lucky enough to pull a session with Shawn youll be very well taken care of, but there are many artists to assist with what you need. My fiance and I went in for a quote on a tattoo a few weeks ago at 22 Caliber Tattoos in Hilliard. We were given an estimate of about $400 for 6 hours of work. Because this was a Christmas gift, I bought a gift card for him in the value of $500. The shop had a double value gift card sale going on so it was a perfect time. I had called the shop ahead of time to ask if there were any restrictions on the gift cards. The girl on the phone told me the only restriction was that they were only for tattoos. On the day of my fiances tattoo appointment, we found out that the gift cards were not able to be used until after January 1st, 2018 (something that is NOT stated on the home page of their site where they have an express check-out for gift cards). This restriction is also NOWHERE on their social media advertising, it is literally only found on one page of their website. Furthermore, we were then told that the gift cards were subject to a $150/hr rate when being used, something that is NOT stated ANYWHERE on the site or within the shop.I have made multiple attempts to contact the shop via different methods and no one will get back to me. In addition, we cannot refund or sell the gift card. In addition, we cannot refund or sell the gift card so were effectively SOL because of their shady marketing practices and information they failed to disclose anywhere as it relates to the purchase of these gift cards.

Saved my back! I had a horrible piece done by a beginning artist when I was a teenger (the tale as old as time) and Shawn Jarvis took my regretful tattoo of shame and turned it into a piece of art. I am going back for more work soon and am very excited. Its a very clean and well kept shop, also the prices on piercings is probably the best I have found.

I got two industrial piercing done 2 weeks ago. Luckily for me I went to Evolved with my sister to get a tattoo consultant. While I was there the receptionist was talking to me about having my ears resized and get new bars in. There piercer came out looked at my ears and told me I had to retire them. Im in shock because i literally got them done 2 weeks ago. He goes on to tell me that the person who pierced my ears didnt do them right. They were making an indent in both of my ears. Not only that the person didnt size up my ear and place them correctly. So i should have just went with my gut and went to Evolved. I will be going back to Evolved to get my ears re pierced.

Was excited to go and get my first tattoo from here, only heard great things. But when it came down to the day of getting the tattoo, my artist forgot about my appointment and made another one at the same time. Also, he came in extremely hungover, of not still drunk. He claimed he has a fever, but he should not be working if he is ill. He also wanted 75$ to 100$ on a small finger tattoo, solid black. Other artists said 50$ or 60$ at most. Defiantly not going there ever and Ill be sure to tell friends who want to get a tattoo not to go here.

I walked in to the Hilliard Rome location for their Friday the thirteenth tattoo sale. I came in at noon to try and beat the crowd. Right away the guy told me that they werent doing the sale at that location (not posted anywhere on their website.) ok fine, so I asked him if maybe anybody had any time that day. He was rude, dismissive and acted like I was a total moron for asking. He didnt suggest a time for me to come back or a different day, nothing. This was going to be my first tattoo and I felt I didnt belong there as soon as he opened his mouth. I get your artists were booked, I even can understand the mix up about the sale, but treating me like an idiot whos bothering you is unacceptable. I wont be back, dont waste your time here.

I used to always come at noon when they open. I have 7 piercings I got from there and a tattoo. But the last two times I went to get another I didnt get to. The first time all of the workers were standing outside smoking infront of the one door that works and I could hardly get in and when I did they were so busy with walkins I couldnt get it. I tried to go in again, I was not greeted, the worker who handed me my paper to fill out looked up and down me before handing it to me. He didnt say a word. When I was done filling it out then the woman told me it would take hours because they were cleaning all of the piercing stuff. I loved this shop before I wouldnt go anywhere else but Im going to find a new place to go to now.(Update) : The owner himself found me on facebook after seeing my review. He was rude then offered a free piercing but when I said no thank you he was extremely rude. Called my review petty. Told me I can find another shop and that as long as my review is up Im not aloud to go to any of their shops. Was very sarcastic and told me he will not be kissing my a** sorry. .. They will get mad if you write a bad review but not doing something about the workers who caused you to write the bad review.

Took my friends daughter on her birthday to the South end location and Paige did a fantastic job!!! Only place I have trusted with my piercings and tattoos.

Don’t buy a gift card from these people!!! I bought a gift card for my girlfriend for Christmas and after attempting to contact two separate artists (one of them being the owner), neither artist has returned her call after more than a week. So, she located another tattoo artist who has stated that he will honor competitor’s gift cards (he will be advertising this soon) and that he will provide her with the tattoo that she wants without charging her any additional money (that’s a good guy)!!! When I called and informed the receptionist of the situation, she became irate with me as opposed to being apologetic (which is how she should have conducted herself). 22 Caliber Tattoo Studio sucks!!!

My wife and I were sceptical before we went in for a cover up tattoo today. After our visit we are glad we gave them a chance. Our experience started with young lady at the desk who was quite pleasant. After my wife told her what she was looking for she promptly had Darius come up and talk to us. He then quickly prepared his equipment and put together a drawing. He was able to cover a horrible tattoo that she previously got at another Hilliard shop and turned it into what she originally wanted. He then made me feel confident that he could cover up a tattoo that I had waited 9 years to cover up and hooked me up with my new favorite tattoo. The best part of working with Darius was he seemed to truly enjoy what he does and was excited about the work he did for my wife and I. I would highly recommend 22 caliber and Darius (while Im sure all the other artist are great Im a little biased) for your tattoo needs.

Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. Showed a very friendly young lady what I was planning on doing. She told me an approximate price and said I should walk in on Tuesday. A couple weeks later I walk in after work on aaTuesday and am greeted by an artist who really made it clear he had no use for me. When they finally figured out I wanted to get the art done and he was next up he then passed me off to another artist. Who that was I dont know because after about 10 minutes standing in the front of the establishment being ignored I decided to leave. Odd behavior. You would think the business requires that you need to do tattoos to make money. I was standing there with money and they chased me away.

I got my navel pierced yesterday by Robbyn Daniels and it was by far the best experience I’ve had! I’ve been pierced 5 times and never had someone so kind and explained how the piercing was gonna go so thank you so much!!!

Jordyn is aboslutly Awsome at what he does. Free handed or what ever its always Awsome work and priced so anyone that truly wants great art work can afford it. Great staff very friendly. Just had my nose pierced 4.26.19. The process went so smooth and easy. I would definitely recommend this place. Everyone there that I spoke to was nice, calming, and polite. Literally zero complaints. 10/10. 😊

The first time i went to get my tongue pierced, the piercer walked away (they were standing outside) saying she wasnt going to do it. She did come back after a couple minutes and pierced my tongue crooked. So I went back again a year later after letting my tongue heal to get it repierced which they charged me for again (ok) but when i asked about the b2g1 free special, the MGR told me the special was over. I recently asked when the special started back up and I was told that the special is year round. So I was told incorrectly and they are not willing to make it right or even admit that there was an error on their end. Very poor customer service! The business is a joke.

I love this place. First time here. Reasonable prices. YES I did have to wait a bit. But cmon... I was a walk in so what do you expect! I had Rique work on me and he is such a teddy. He was awesome! Worst expierence ever ive never had any issues with any other tattoo shop. They was doing the buy so much get double so i spent 75$ for 150$ gift card only to be told you have to schedule an. Appt to even use the g/c okay so i scheduled mine for the next day after going in scotti pierce said he would do it next day gave me his number acted like he didnt even wanna Do it so i texted him next day confirming my appt with no reaponse he didnt even come in that day. I just decided to give away my gift card and will never again go here and i dont recommend you do either unless you wanna feel like a problem to the emplyees. Wasted 75$ on this place!!If you look at a different review you see a reply back from the owner about them having issues of their own but no apologies to customers who spend their hard earned money. Goes to show this place is a joke !

Cool place, I dont see what all the negativity is about. Ive gotten six tattoos all walk in, and from four different artists. Never had to wait an unreasonable time nor paid more than was quoted (actually has been less before) I think some people have their expectations set to revive what they see on Tv.

Ive been in their chairs seven times over the last three years and my wife has been twice ( Shawns her artist) and their work just gets better every time. They can take a 30 year old ink mistake and turn it into the tattoo you deserve. Not sure? I called on my birthday to see if artists were available and was told that 10-12 artists were available. 2 hours later we came in and were told that no artists were available. I was instructed to come back 90 minutes later (leaving my name and number). I took my friends and family to dinner and came back 90 minutes later. I was asked to sit and be patient. One of the counter personnel went to their top artist to see if I could be fit in. The top artist looked at me with a sour look and said something to his worker and the worker stated that it would not happen today. I wasted 3 1/2 hours around this place doing nothing, but dealing with crappy customer service. Thanks guys for a great birthday.

Employees are rude. I call to see if my sister and I could get some tattoos. I was told to come on in only to be told it would take a huge amount of time for us to get our tattoos done after being told it was no problem and that it would be crazy expensive and had to be bigger. To tell you the truth, I think that guy and rude secretary were just trying to say anything to get us to leave, so we did.I went to Stingin Ink instead and they are WAY better and cheaper. We got exactly what we wanted no trouble at all. Staff got us in super fast and were very polite. All my tattoos from Stingin Ink are incredible compared to the one I got from 22 Caliber. In fact, Ive heard nothing but bad things about 22 Caliber. From the sounds of it it sounds like most of them are going to Stingin Ink now. My husband even went in to 22 Caliber because he didnt realize I left to go to Stingin Ink and said like 5 artists were sitting around doing NOTHING at all. These are the same ones that basically shooed me out the door. Plus a friend of mine got ink done at 22 Cal and was being harassed by one of the tattoo artists.Needless to say Im definitely going to Stingin Ink for tattoos from this point onward. Not going back to 22 Caliber again.

I stood there for a minute but I can see why they were pretty busy although as soon as one of the workers recognized me he was very polite very understandable and he did the best he could to help me to find what I was looking for even though they didnt have it in the shop but he was very open very honest and did the best he could he did a great job I cant remember his name but he was awesome

I went in today to get my nostril pierced and Robbynn was great! She answered all my questions, was super helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend her!

I went last week and got my nipples pierced by Robbyn Daniels, she is very good at what she does ! She was so quick and effortless and made everything so much more comfortable.

Robbyn did a dermal on my face and it turned out so well. Was really clean, and painless compared to other dermal Ive had in the past. Healed wonderfully.

Branden is a great artist and works fast without mistakes. Easy to talk to and good music. Would have been a 5 Star visit but he was late to our appointment.

Dillion is a super talented artist who delivered one hell of a tattoo. The guys in the shop are super creative and all around good people. Highly recommend the shop. Definitely going back for a water color 😎

Apparently you will need a touch up means half you color will be gone within two weeks. To make it clear NO ONE has tried to contact me and when I called them I was told it would be another 50 bucks to fix the issue. We were never informed the tattoo would or even could almost completely come off on half my finger. They only said I would need touch ups regularly.

Robbin is an AMAZING piercer. If you EVER need something done, please come see her. She will put you at ease and take her time!

Not sure why theyy have a 3.8, this place should be a 5 across the board. Great prices for awesome work. Some artist may be hard to get into see but the pay off for waiting is worth it 100%. There is no other place I would ever go to get my ink! This piece isnt done yet, but you can clearly see the quality of work!

Stopped in on a Saturday after being told they had openings, just to get there and be told oh no wouldn’t be able to do it till 5, I had a previous engagement and couldn’t do 5, so was told to come back the following Saturday about the same time, so I did and then get told that it wouldn’t be till 6:30 and possibly not even then.. While 2 other employees were just seating there doing nothing. I will never go back there..

Their work is not all that great and pricing is high for the quality they do.. 3 hours for 200 sounds good but that includes all their breaks and 1000 smoke breaks.. they have attitude problems and seem to forget customers are important.. there are so many better places where the work is 100 times better!!! Shop around before going there
