First tattoo experience for both me and my husband. Im beyond ecstatic that we went with this studio. We both got custom designs. Paul tattooed my husband. I was able to sit in the room and watch. He was very attentive and had a very clean set up. Good energy and overall good vibe with Paul. I got work done from Vivienne. She was extremely welcoming towards me. Helped kick my nerves to the curb. She was also very attentive and reassuring. Made sure I felt good throughout the whole process and talked me through each step. Were definitely gonna return to dark horse art studio for our next tattoos.

Vivienne is amazing!!!! My sisters and I came as walk ins for a spur of the moment ink session and she gave us top notch service. She is truly a vibe and I appreciate her staying late to get all 3 of us taken care of.

Paul was an excellent artist, very good conversationalist and had some great music playing in the background. All in all I really appreciated having him as the professional for my first tattoo experience. Spectacular job with cleaning up the sketch I brought in and some bonus art tips for my future projects I seriously appreciated as he is an amazing artist himself. Thanks Paul!

Joelle, hands down is the best tattoo artist i have ever experienced. Its starts with a tattoo, and ends with a friendship. Her response time is the quickest turnaround ive experienced. Not only does she do a great job tattooing, but she does so much research on the subject along the way. At this point i would never let anyone else tattoo me, except her. She is so friendly and knowledgeable. The others at Dark Horse im sure do a great job, but i can only speak for joelle. Whatever the top of the scale is, she is at the top. I absolutely love this place! It was my first time getting a tattoo, and the people here were very kind and helpful. The person that did my tattoo, Nathan Cox, did a fantastic job. They also made me very comfortable. Overall the atmosphere was amazing.

Binx is the best? Easy to get your vision across to him and he knocks it out the park always. Ever the professional but makes every tattoo an experience to remember. Will make you want him to be your regular artist or at least a constant on your rotation of artist!

Paul did amazing with my Friday the 13th flash tattoo. He made it look a lot cooler than the original picture. He was friendly and helped calm any nerves I could’ve had with getting a tattoo. I 100% recommend him!

The staff here are exceptionally amazing. Everyone here is super friendly and the over all vibe is wonderful. Not only that but the art and tattoo work done here is incredible to say the least. I would highly recommend coming here especially if it’s your first tattoo or first big piece.

The facility is very clean. The people are very nice and helpful. Nate was the artist for my tattoo and my daughters. It was her first tattoo and he talked to her the entire time to keep her distracted. Nate gave both of us suggestions on how to make our tattoos better and made them pop. We both love his demeanor, cooperation and advice. We will both be going back. Im not familiar with the other artists but Im sure they are just as good. I highly recommend ❤️

10/10 for experience, atmosphere, and just the whole shabang. We’re new down here only being here for about 8 months and have been looking for an artist. I looked up shops near me and this one stood out from all the great reviews and I definitely see why. I Walked in without appointment and was immediately greeted with a smiling face from the lady at the front. Within a few minutes I was talking to the artist Paul. 10 minutes after that I was being tattooed. I got a small piece on my arm, my son wrote the words “I love you”. Paul copied it beautifully. Paul is a great artist (from looking at all his work) but honestly he gets a 10/10 for being a goof ball (laughing, cracking jokes, making everyone smile and have a good time for the duration of the tattoo, he’s loves what he does and it shows). I will definitely be back!! Oh and not to mention you can definitely tell and see that everyone there takes pride in what they do and the shop because this is the cleanest shop I’ve ever been in. I can’t wait for my next tattoo, see you soon Paul!

The whole staff is sweet and amazing. I had the honor of having Vivienne as my tattoo artist. She did this sketch by herself and I just let her know which bug I wanted. My husband and I went over the past weekend and got some great work done by Vivienne! Though she is a newer artist her work is quality like that of a seasoned artist. I had my first ever tattoo done by Vivienne and to say my experience was perfection would be an understatement! I found her on IG through another friends referral and she was prompt to respond and so kind answering all of my questions before I even scheduled. The business was very clean/good atmosphere. During the appointment Vivienne’s booth/room was such a vibe. She made sure to walk me through every step that she was doing and ensured I loved my tattoo before AND after I left, checking up on my healing process! Chatting with her was so easy that I’m pretty sure I made a new tattoo bestie lol couldn’t say enough good things about my experience at Dark Horse with Vivienne!

Binx is my guy back home! He’s awesome and has some of the best line work and spiciest whip shades. His art work is awesome and overall he’s just a great dude. If traditional is your thing he’s your guy but he’s can definitely do a whole lot more.

Vivienne did a fantastic job on one of my tattoos!However, they had a guest artist at the shop that screwed up another tattoo so badly that it is not even fixable or able to be covered due to how dark it is. The line work is an absolute mess and isnt even remotely straight. Multiple lines dont connect like they should. To be fair, the artist did offer to fix it, but this isnt something I was comfortable with after realizing just how bad the tattoo was. After I told her this, she sent me a thumbs up 🙃 After consulting multiple other people, fixing it is not possible and would just make the tattoo look like a muddy mess with the detail work so close to the wonky lines. This alone has ensured that I will never recommend or return to this shop if they are letting someone guest that tattoos like this.

10/10 recommend. I had vivian and shes literally the sweetest. She was talking me through the whole thing and it was greatly appreciated given the fact it was my first tattoo. Its so clean and well ventilated. I am so happy with the finished product and most definitely will be coming back🥰🥰

I was extremely please with the customer service, checkin and consent process. This was my first time there and it was very clean and organized. The bathrooms were clean and even offered personal toiletries. Before we started, Vivienne went over the steps and process with me. We viewed the stencil and placement after chatting about it. Once we got started, she explained what she doing and when she was changing to something different, she gave me heads up. Vivienne was very detailed oriented and wanted to make sure I got what I wanted. I love my new and revised work and couldn’t be happier! I will never go any where else!

Awesome tattoo and art shop. I got a black and grey Greek mythology tattoo from Jeremy. He is a super chill guy and great to work with. He has some amazing skills and I look forward to more tattoos from him.The shop as a whole has a great vibe and is super clean and sanitary. They have a comfortable waiting area and somebody was at the reception desk to greet me when I walked in the door. They also had water bottles if I needed them too.

Ive been tattooed by Joelle 2 times now and Im super happy with her and her designs all of her art work is super impressive. We had a family tattooing at Dark Horse. Our artist was Jeremy Sellars. Jeremy was abundantly accommodating. He worked with all of us to get us what we needed. He also put in a ton of effort to help my mom relax. My mom is 65 and just got her first tattoo! Jeremy had super awesome bedside manor. I will be returning to Dark Horse for more work.

I was finally able to coordinate getting a tattoo from Vivienne! My work schedule is super crazy but everytime I messaged her she responded right away and we were finally able to line something up that worked for both of us. I am so in love and happy with my new tattoo. She is so amazing as an artist, you can tell she really cares about her designs and put a 100% effort forth!! I still need to get the stairs shaded but I was on a tight timeline so we found the perfect stopping point to where the design still looks phenomenal. I am so excited to go back for my next appointment to get my next tattoo and have her finishing the stairs on this one I just got. 10/10 would 100% recommend her or even any of the other artists in that shop because they are all so amazing. The environment, artists, and everything match what I am looking for in a shop. If you have the chance, get a tattoo from there. I promise you will love it and keep going back.

I have been to both Jeremy and Vivienne. Jeremy did an amazing job on a thigh cover up for me. The piece is very sentimental and I’m so happy with how it turned out. Vivienne has done two pieces for me so far and created such a comfortable experience both times. She really puts her heart into her work and it shows. During me chilling out, multiple artists I hadnt interacted with before asked if I was okay as they passed by and asked if I needed anything. Dark Horses bedside manner is far above anything Ive ever been accustomed to, and I honestly cant thank you guys enough for the care and patience.I dont even know how long it is now after my visit, but I still have so much gratitude for your kindness and patience while I was there, as well as an appreciation currently for looking at my piece and still being in love with the work. This was my first time in the shop and I had an exceptional experience. I requested a tattoo with a short suspense and the owner (Jeremy) responded promptly. From the initial inquiry to the application of the tattoo, Jeremy was genuine and ensured I was completely satisfied. The shop is clean and well put together with some very talented artists. Paul Richardson was an excellent artist! He did my first tattoo and I was terribly nervous. He used sarcastic humor and funny stories that made me feel better about the pain. Ill be back for future tattoos from the other wonderfully nice artists!

Jeremy does fantastic work! I’ve gotten all but one of my tattoos done by him, total of 7 tattoos now by him. He is extremely caring and kind, makes sure his clients are comfortable throughout the process, explains the process for first timers. Everyone working at DH is kind, caring, and just want to make sure you are completely okay before getting tattooed. Very welcoming and friendly environment. All around great people, great artists. 10/10 recommend

Today is my 18th birthday which means I could get a tattoo and thanks to Jeremy he gave a wonderful first tattoo with my mother’s name exactly how I wanted. During the session he asked several times if I was doing fine and held a few conversations that helped distract me from the pain. It was an amazing experience would highly recommend him. Definitely going back for my next tattoo.

This was the first tattoo flash event that I have ever attended and I was super impressed. I imagined long lines/waits and although there was a line when I got there, it went super fast! Dark Horse had an amazing setup and took people in groups! Eri was my artist and we clicked immediately! I got the Sailor Moon Friday the 13th cat and am over the moon with how it turned out! Eri and I bonded over bookish tattoos and told her that I would definitely have to come back to get one done by her!

Jeremy came highly recommended by a couple of vets I encountered. His line work is literally award-winning so I felt optimistic about asking for lettering and he delivered. I have a gorgeous tattoo of my favorite quote and Jeremy has a new loyal client. Five stars for sure.

Dark Horse is definitely the best tattoo studio we have in the area . From the second you walk in your welcomed by everyone there. The building is beautiful and there is amazing art work everywhere to look at.Ive been having Vivienne work on me with a few pieces and shes always been so sweet and shes so talented and makes you feel so comfortable the whole time shes working on you. I definitely reccomend anyone at that shop as they are are so very very talented and sweet. Ill be going and reccomending only them to anyone I know!!

I got my tattoo done by Nathan here. The first idea he showed me wasnt quite what I was looking for. It looked awesome but wasnt what I wanted, so after a quick discussion he came back with this, which was right on the money! After he began tattooing it only took about two hours for what you see in the picture. Also this is one of the nicest cleanest shops Ive been too, and the aesthetics are very nice as well.

I did a walk-in with artist Jeremy Sellers and the experience was excellent! I have had other...not so great times at different shops over the years. He did a great job and exactly how I wanted it. Staff was friendly and welcoming! I will definately be back and recommend to others.

Nathan is such an incredible artist. He is fast, efficient, creative, understanding, gentle, and kind. I have a ton of tattoos and by far he is my favorite artist. Im extremely excited to work with him in the future. The shop was beautiful, clean, and cool to look at. I highly recommend Nathan but anyone at this shop will be awesome.

I’ll start by saying I have over 40 tattoos and have been tattooed by multiple artists. I live in Florida about a 3 hour drive from Dark Horse Arts Studio and I will forever keep making that drive to get tattooed by Jeremy! I had a very thick large tattoo I needed covered up on my calf that I thought was going to be impossible to cover up but with Jeremy’s brilliant creative mind we were able to cover it with a beautiful red rose and raven. Then continued to do an amazing Viking Portrait of Goddess Freyja on my other calf! Shortly after I told Jeremy I wanted a full black and grey sleeve but just didn’t know what I wanted and I put my full trust in him to cover my whole right arm. We placed Second in the tattoo convention for best large black and grey and placed Second for best full Sleeve out of hundreds of people! This shop is the most cleanliness and friendly tattoo shop I’ve ever been to. I cant thank Jermey enough for all the amazing work he has done for me. 10 out of 10 always recommend!!
