Went to get a Friday the 13th flash tattoo and Chris did mine and my wife’s. We got the same tattoo of the sexy ghost. It was AWESOME!! Perfect tattoo and placed exactly where we wanted, also he was able to cover up a scar on my arm which was amazing!! Chris is amazing and we will be back for sure!! Josh & Abby

My husband and I were in Sunday both to get work done. Chris did both of our tattoos and did a fantastic job. We have both had been to other artists in the past and I have to say, Chris is the best of them all. From sketching up the design to applying the tattoo. He was very nice and professional and I felt at ease. We will both be back for additional work next month! Thank you, Chris, Great Job!

Look no further, THIS is the place to get a tattoo in Citrus County. My tattoo artist was Chris and I was blown away by his professionalism. He took what I gave him as concept art (more like scratches) and he made this masterpiece in memory of my Grandfather. He is very talented and will make an amazing art piece no matter what you give him as Ive heard about him from word of mouth and seeing other peoples tattoos. Not to mention he is a kind soul and has done tattoo days as fundraisers. Great place to work with and he gives back to our community. If you happen to just see this review and youre from out of town the best souvenir you could get is a tattoo from this man. He is in a league of his own and one of the best tattoo artists Ive ever seen, as Ive been around the world in the Army.

Chris did a matching tattoo on my twin sister and I and he was very gentle and they came out AMAZING, very clean place and you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door!! Will be back for more and would recommend him to anyone!!😁

Citrus Tattoos is the place to go! Chris is an amazing artist and extremely light handed! I always get compliments on the line work in my tattoos! The shop is always clean and sanitary. My last 5 tattoos have been done by Chris and I won’t go anywhere else.

My husband and I visited this shop last October for a flash deal, and have been back 3 more times since then for more work. Very sterile shop, all of the staff are so friendly and SO talented. We get our tattoos done by Jonathan and every piece has exceeded our expectations. 5⭐️They also have temporary tattoos available for younger kids!Highly recommend.

My sister & I had Chris do our tattoos. We absolutely loved our experience since it was our first tattoo. Chris is the sweetest & made us very comfortable right from the time we walked in the door.. My wife and I were in Sunday 2/18/24 to get some work done, I was impressed with the cleanliness of his place.And Chris was great, made you feell very welcomed. ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL EXPREIENCE AND EXCEPTIONAL WORK!Please take a few moments to read this because I want as many folks to read this as possible.I have waited until the completion of my sleeve to do this review, which was 5 sessions, and I cannot say enough good things about the overall experience, the companionship during every session and the quality of the work. Truly wonderful and amazing. I am the one with the realism Gorilla/Elephant/Highland Cow/Dove/Lotus/Om/Feather sleeve and I could not be happier. Tattoos are something that will be on us for the rest of our lives, so it is a bit challenging to decide on who we feel best about doing the work when the time comes. Well, I can assure you that you need to look no further. Chris Callahan was my artist and I could not be happier with my decision of having him do all of my work. My sleeve entailed his first ever gorilla and his first ever highland cow and he absolutely nailed them, along with every other component. All I did was hand him my chosen photos of each component and he put them all to life on my arm. Not only is the quality top notch, but the experience of each and every session and the conversations had and the companionship just made it a wonderful experience all around.Chris also did several amazing coverups on my wife, which blew us away, because there was everything from large bold letters to unwanted colors that needed covered, and he made them all happen with astounding results. My wife could not be happier with them. She also commented several times in her sessions about how light-handed Chris is, and I agree.The work was so wonderful and impressive that my father in his 70’s, after sitting in on a few of my wife and I’s sessions, decided to get a realism dart frog on the inside of his forearm and he absolutely loves it. He says he looks at it throughout every day and feels like it is ready to jump right off his arm. My wife and I look at ours every day as well and are amazed every time. I have co-workers and friends that have seen my arm and they have all said that when they are ready, they will be getting Chris’s information from me because they will be going to him as well.I would also like to add that his other artist John was very kind and engaged in conversations as well, and we saw him putting out very impressive work as well. It’s certainly worth mentioning John and his work, as well as the rest of the staff all being welcoming and adding to the experience.All I can say is if you are ready for ink, there is no need to search around or look any further for an artist or shop, Chris Callahan at Citrus Tattoo is the answer.

Went to Chris for a cover-up Tattoo, and he knocked it out of the park, he’s very gentle, and personable, he does amazing work! Will be having a lot of chair time with Chris in the future

I went here today for my very first tattoo. I was a little nervous but the artist Chris was reassuring. He had a light hand, and did an amazing job (looking at some of the other work he has done, you can tell he always does great).This place is clean and I loved all of the art work on the walls :) I will definitely be coming back, and you should 100% come here for your next tattoo.

I came down to the Northern Tampa area on a vacation with my family and I was looking to get some work done as well. After researching several different tattoo shops, I came across Love Thy Ink Tattoo Shop and I am glad I did. I called them to set up an appointment and at first, they did not have any availabilities to fit me in before I left. But that did not stop them from getting me in. They were able to fit me in to get the work that I wanted done.The entire process from start to finish was impeccable. Chris is an extremely talented and capable artist that is willing to listen to each client in order so that they get what they want done. I gave Chris some ideas on what I wanted and he saw my vision; he delivered more than I expected and I am truly please with his work. He is skillful, cautious, pays attention to detail, and is extremely engaging with the customer through the process. In addition to that, his shop is perfectly clean and he respects and follows all safety protocols.With all of this in mind, Chris will be my sole artist for every piece that I want done in the future. Even if that means flying down from Chicago to have it done.I would recommend ANYONE to visit this shop.

Can’t speak highly enough about Chris or his establishment. His shop was very clean and he was very professional and down to earth. I had an idea what I wanted but didn’t know how I wanted to piece it together. In the Midst of his family welcoming a new baby he was able to keep in touch and design my tattoo. The piece came out better than I ever dreamed of. I highly recommend.

Great experience here! Me and my fiancé were traveling through from out of town and He surprised me with a tattoo session. Erica was so friendly and informative she made me feel extremely welcome and comfortable. She even showed me some of her work and suggested some ideas that she thought would look great. They took extra sanitary precautions that made me feel more comfortable especially during this COVID pandemic. My oriental inspired sleeve looks amazing and I am a very satisfied customer.

I went to Chris with pictures of what I wanted and using his amazing artistic abilities he created a tribute to the three most important people in my life..my children and mom.. I was amzed from the detail on the dragons to the rays of light from the center part..I was in awe at the finished product...I wish I could give 10 stars.. Chris is the best in my opinion..
