The Golden Mantis Tattoo & Piercing

Awesome staff and artist! Welcoming and friendly all around. Matt’s doing my work and I’m really digging the work. This place is rocking with good talent!!!!

Went in with my daughter to get her nose pierced, called last minute and they squeezed us in the same day. The staff was super friendly and answered all of our questions. The place was clean and and it seemed like they took the job seriously, while also making it an enjoyable experience. My daughter was comfortable, and she’s already asking about another piercing (and I would definitely choose Red Rose in the future for sure)

My girlfriends and I went on trip together and decided to get tattoos together. I worked with Cass to get everything settled in advance which was the easiest I have ever had scheduling something like this. When we got there, Angel worked from 12-3pm ensuring the drafts of the designs were exactly what we wanted while also expressing his thoughts on what would make for the best looking tattoo. He then spent from 4-10pm tattooing us. The shop closed at 7 and all the staff (who were just awesome) had already left. He went completely above and beyond for us and as as result we will likely be coming back! I can’t say enough about this man’s talent and vision. One of the best tattoo experiences I have ever had and I have had many. So excited to have met y’all! WeI’ll be back!!

Love Red Rose!! Ive had many sessions to cover a previous tattoo from 15 years ago. Im always treated very well, and I really appreciate the level of education that I leave with after every visit to be sure that Im confident in my aftercare. Aftercare is half of the process! Red Rose goes above and beyond to ensure comfort before, during, and after an appointment. Its great to walk away with new ink that you love, but I value the level of reassurance and knowledge that Im consistently provided with in regards to design, execution, and aftercare. Thanks Jimmy and Red Rose Team for always making me feel at home and informed!

Every artist here is top-notch but Jimmy is my favorite!! Theres nothing he cant do! Super patient and will exceed all expectations. No one else will ever tattoo me as long as hes around. THE best.

Me and my wife on April 7th, 2024. We got matching tattoos. Bron and Matt hooked us up with some great scenery work. Cass up front really helped to make everything smooth getting our custom art done in the weeks leading up to the session. We recommend this place and these artists.

I don’t know the guys name who did my daughters naval piercing, but he was arrogant and rude. It’s been over a year since she had this done and it’s still not healed properly! He used way too much skin and my daughter has had to use salt water and other things to help this heal and not hurt! It’s still not healed and continues to get infected! Don’t go to this place! Do your research and meet the person prior to getting anything done!

We went on a Sunday after they opened to get both my daughters’ ears pierced. Jimmy took amazing care of my daughters age 8 and 10 and was great with them, even though they were a little nervous. He walked them through step by step. We learned 8 is the minimum age for piercing and you have to have their birth certificate. Professional shop and great customer service!

I will definitely be heading back. Im OBSESSED with the Jiraiya tattoo that I got from Hutch. 10/10 will go again. I was recommended by three of my friends who have gotten several tattoos here. Were all happy people!

Great experience! Saw Jimmy for piercing, my 10 yo daughter and myself. He was great! Made my daughter feel comfortable and was super friendly! Great experience and will be back and recommend to anyone !!

I am a very loyal customer to this shop. All of the artists are great and super friendly and laid back guys. They put out consistently amazing pieces and the shop is always incredibly clean. Hutch is my go to guy and does amazing traditional and Neo Traditional work!

I have been going to Angel Rivera at Red Rose tattooing company for a while now. He is a really great guy and has done amazing work on me. This shop also seems to have other excellent artists in it as well. You can trust them to change you permanantly for the better! I tell everyone that asks to come to Angel or this place.

It was my first time coming here today and Jimmy did an amazing job and was very kind! ! The lady upfront and angel also were incredibly welcoming. They all have great energy and Jimmy did a great job on my tattoo.

I got my belly pierced here and Jimmy the piercer there did an amazing job and made it quick and easy

Got my second tattoo at Red Rose and Jimmy is awesome! He created my art with some ideas I had, we tweaked it when I arrived, and the final product is beautiful! In honor of my first granddaughter and hopefully many more to come! Thank you SO much Jimmy! Love ya!

Communication was excellent! Matt was truly amazing! We love our new tattoos💗

My reviews for front desk Miranda (I think that was her name?) and Angel, who both made my tattooing experience kickass. His taste in music was also great. I am absolutely delighted with the work that he did recreating the drawings that Id done. From my initial contact to consulting to the tattooing, start to finish and all in between, both Miranda and Angel stayed in touch with me and treated me so kindly.

Angel made this the best tattoo experience I’ve ever had. His work is amazing and he thoroughly explained the aftercare process. The entire staff is really cool. They take cleanliness to the next level to make sure you are getting the best experience possible. (Thank you Savannah!) I will definitely be back!! ❤️

Wonderful experience! The tattoo artists really care about your experience and their work! Would highly recommend them for any tattoo big or small! Jimmy does amazing work for my friend and Kilo did my favorite tattoo ever! Angel didnt even work on us, but took time to answer our questions and concerns! Brandi was precious and very helpful getting us lined up and taken care of!

Angel is the absolute best tattoo artist ever and he has the sweetest , most helpful receptionist too. Call Brittany and schedule an appointment You wont regret it!!!

I am so happy that I found Red Rose. I’d been wanting to get a cover up for years and finally found the perfect place to go. Everyone in the studio creates a vibe that just can’t be beat. Every session I had there was comfortable & fun & entertaining & memorable because everyone there is awesome.Jimmy KILLS it every time. My cover up is incredible - can’t even see the ridiculousness that was once there 😋 He has talent that is out of this world and his passion for creating unique pieces is so unreal. Getting tatted by someone that shows excitement like Jimmy does is what everyone should want.Thank you to EVERYONE at Red Rose (especially Brandi & Jimmy). Everyone I interacted with is an incredible human being ❤️🤟🏼

This shop is fantastic! Ive gotten two tattoos now, from Turkey, who is not only friendly but super talented in his artistry. The shop is clean, aesthetically pleasing and just beautiful. I would definitely recommend Red Rose to anyone looking to get some ink! Great group of talent.

Bron Chandler. Bron Chandler. Bron Chandler. Best tattoo artist experience I’ve ever had. Very professional. Salt of the earth. Can’t wait to go back!

Unrivaled. I had a wonderful experience. I have many tattoos, they treated me the best by far! Friendly, comfortable, makes you feel welcome. Very humble people. Thank you Jimmy Valderaz, and friends 🥰 yall need to check them out!

Great shop. Friendly people. Turkey is a very professional and great artist. Tattoo turned out great! Have recommend and will continue to. My wife had the same experience! We love Red Rose Tattooing!

I got my septum pierced today with John Q. He did an amazing job, I felt so comfortable and in control of everything that was happening. I’m newer to getting piercing and he made it know from the beginning that he was patient and would only do things when I wanted him to. Which made me soooo much more confident to do it. Love the atmosphere, the people, everything. Great shop!

My first experience with Red Rose Tattooing, Jimmy and Brandi was nothing short of amazing. I was really surprised at the customer service, and friendly staff. Most tattoo companies arent very into great customer service like they are. Anyway, I will most definitely be returning, and having Jimmy do ALL of my future work. Kudos to Jimmy, Brandi and Red Rose! You guys beat all!

Five of us went in for matching tattoos with my son leaving for Germany. John did great work and everyone in the shop was welcoming. My kids commented it’s like we’ve known them forever. A big thank you to Danny as well for what you did for my son Sam. That was so unexpected and kind! We will be back soon!!

Very kind staff, and very time efficient. I was recommended to come here by my friend and I went to got a conch piercing. The staff was calm and very knowledgeable, made sure I was okay before I left and gave me great advice on after care for piercings. Would definitely recommend red rose to anyone looking for piercings and tattoos.

My first tattoo and I loved the experience. Ambience is hygienic and welcoming. People are very pleasant. Mike Anthony @Inkman_kilo designed the tattoo in less than 15 min including changes as per my discussion. Great artist. Made me comfortable with l considering its my first tattoo. Good conversation that helped me get over the first b minute anxiety. After about half hour, its a wonderful peace of art. I am so pleased with the outcome.I finally got my passion at work (DevOps represented by infinity), farming (represented by leaves and daughters names as tattoo.I am already thinking about more 😀.Highly recommend this place.

I got my eyebrows done by Chelsea the piercer there and they have healed up great and she gave me amazing care instructions and took care of every question that i had I highly recommend you come and see her for your next piercing!!!

First of all congrats to Turkey (and his family and crew) for opening up the first pro shop in Braselton. Making some history! These guys are all so cool and the atmosphere is rad yet very professional. Have a few tattoos from Turkey and they all healed perfectly. Colors did not fade and the pure artistry, line work shading and all, is impeccable. Glad I found a shop I can stick with for a lifetime! 5000 stars

First time there and friendly and cool staff . Very good prices and Matt the artist who did my sun tattoo excelled. 👍

A great experience! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Turkey made my step-daughters first tattoo experience something very memorable! I would HIGHLY recommend Red Rose.

Although this establishment is new the owner and his business has been alive for some time now. The work that is done here is exceptionally good and the people that work there will make you feel like you are part of the family. The tattoo is looking amazing and is healing well. Thank you red rose teamteam!!

Matt did an amazing job on my husband and I’s tattoos!! Everyone in the shop is super friendly and it is very clean and comfortable. Thank you guys so much!!

Awesome experience! Turkey, has done all my tattoo work and I can definitely say I chose not only the best tattoo artist but the best shop to go to! Couldn’t ask for a better place to get a lifetime piece of art!

I got my first tattoo at red rose with Jimmy, and he just finished my fourth. I’ve seen him for every tattoo and he constantly impresses with his work. It’s a great environment with great artists and I 100% recommend a visit for your next tattoo.

ANGEL is a GIFTED PHENOM! He always translates the ideas & concepts in my mind into amazing visionary art,.. every time! I HIGHLY recommend him, especially for surrealism or any idea you want brought to life thru ink. He is an ACE forreal!

Red Rose Tattooing Co. Is amazing. They made me feel very comfortable and Angel did an Amazing job on my tattoo. I could not be happier. I will definitely be recommending others to this shop.Eric Stoneburner

This guys are not just tatto artists. They are also customer service artists lol.I got 2 pieces done there with the big guy they call turkey. Also my 3 friends got inked by him. I recommend this guy. Great prices, great ink. Cant wait until my next session.

Amazing Artists!!! They are all talented but I am partial to Turkey because he did mine. So many compliments and only a week old. The picture is today and its still healing but WOW. Thank you

Brought my Son into Red Rose this past weekend on his 18th Birthday and had the BEST experience!Jimmy is THE MAN!Excellent Work, Excellent Shop, Super Clean & Friendly Staff! Will be back very soon!

Great experience! Everyone was friendly and made the whole process easy and enjoyable. Their artwork is phenomenal and they are by far the best tattoo artists Ive ever seen.

I was going to give them a 3 star, but I had a very bad experience with the piercer. The tattoo artists are pretty great, and Ive been coming here a while. But I got a daith piercing less than a week ago, and after just 3 days with it in, it was almost too painful to stand and the pain was spreading throughout my face. I went to another piercer in Lawrenceville for a second opinion, and he said he wasnt sure it looked done right and go to a hospital asap. I had to get it removed after they numbed me with 5 shots to the head. The doctors also said it wasnt infected or an allergic reaction, and something was hit that wasnt supposed to. They doctor also said if I had waited 2-3 more days i would have been hospitalized overnight. Mind you, I got the same exact side done by the same piercer, but they felt very different when he did the piercing and right after too. Now Im stuck with a $1300 medical bill. I went back to the piercer after the hospital the next day, and he said you can only pierce it one way, I didnt do it wrong. And they wouldnt even issue me a refund for the piercing or reply to my email

Kilo was absolutely awesome to work with, he found the perfect font for my tattoo. Everything was super clean and organized. Will definitely recommend them to friends.

I am a repeat offender when it comes to ink. I have tried several other places after my regular artist moved. I was extremely impressed by the shop. The personnel were very friendly & customer comfort & satisfaction are very important to them. I’ve gotten ink & several piercings there & am very happy with both. Definitely recommend this shop & I will be returning as well.

We had our 7 year old daughters ears pierced, here, and they did such a good job. The piercer explained each step to her and addressed cleaning concerns with her. Highly recommend!

Got a cover up done by Turkey and he did an amazing job! Very good customer service and very good at understand exactly what i wanted and making my dreams come true! Definitely go check him out! Can’t wait to get more ink by him

Had an appointment at 1 waited for over 2 hours for the artist to draw my cover up so I stepped out for an hour to go do something because I didn’t know The appointment would officially be at 4, get back at 5 and now it’s too late to start tattooing. Great artists but next time say when the appointment is instead of saying 1pm taking my deposit and then having me wait for hours just to be told it’s too late

I got two pieces done by Kilo. He was professional, personable, and did a great job on my tattoos. Shop was clean and organized and I look forward to coming back soon.

Loved the shop and the artists within. Got a small tattoo with John Quick. Did a great job and explained after care throughly. Definitely coming back for more and bigger tattoos!

Jimmy is a great artist. Hes also very welcoming and laid back. His work is beautiful.

Love this place. Clean, awesome decor, great customer service, and finally a shop in braselton. 1st shop I’ve been too that actually gave me hope on a cover up I want doneMike tatted me and I’m gonna keep going him when I want any random tattoo. I highly recommend this shop! It’s dope !

I had a very good experience here. I was so nervous for my first tattoo but the whole environment was very calming. I will definitely be back for my second one and I would recommend this shop to anyone.

This is the only place I get my tattoos I’ve gotten three of ten here, my wife has gotten one by Jimmy V and I’ve gotten two by Angel and one by Dutch. Great place, great work, great prices, great atmosphere, they make you feel welcomed unlike other tattoo shops that look at you wondering why you’re there.

Friendly and always great art from every artist Ive seen. Jimmy is my artist at the moment working on a family flower garden...love all the work he has put into this piece and cant wait to see it finished
