Smells like cigarettes as soon as you wal in. Disgusting!! I am wanting to pierce my daughters ears. They told me they dont personally do it but will be happy to sell me the kit to do it myself. Why would I take the time to ask a tattoo shop if they could pierce her ears, if I wanted to do it myself? 🤔 They seemed confused when I explained thats why i visited the shop. I personally have piercing and tattoos I have aways had good or decent service. I dont trust this place.

Weve been coming to Mr. Domo for years. He does quality work, his prices are fair, he keeps things clean, and will tell you some good stories while hes working on your ink. Sometimes you can catch him playing one of his guitars, too. I got this tattoo from him when I was 18 and it still looks great.

Shawna was amazing I went for one tattoo and left with three and a touch up on a old tattoo! The environment was clean and staff was very friendly I have had several tattoos and this is the first time I’m walking out the door saying I will be back! She did a amazing job! Thanks!!

He did my piercings when I was younger so I went to him to get them done again. I didn’t get to pick where my nose ring was, he just done it. It’s in the wrong spot and he hit a nerve so (a month later) I still can’t feel that side of my nose. It was done so high up that I can only use starter bars. Please just save your money and go elsewhere. I honestly feel like he’s too old to be doing that line of work anymore.

Went to get my nose pierced and it was not even she used a pen not marker to mark spot.

Came in for nipple piercings! Great people, was pierced by Ms.Shawna. She made sure everything was clean and sanitized, answered all of my questions, made me feel so comfortable, and we even shared a few laughs along the way. Pricing is great, love my jewelry, love my piercings, love this place! Will definitely be back in the future. Thank you Ancient Art!

My mom took me last night August 27th 2022 to get my nose done. The older man did it. He was nice and I appreciate that but the jewelry is to short. It keeps popping out and Im hurting myself getting it back in. My niece went in day before that and hers is amazing. First time getting my nose done. I just have mixed feelings for this place.

Very rude! Place smelled like one big cigarette! I told the lady that I called earlier and before I could get the next word out of my mouth she said... well. Alot of people called earlier. She acted like she didnt have time for us. Even though were the only ones in there. Then told me how my tattoo I wanted wouldnt work.She DID NOT want my business.

Such a nice place! Walked in and were told to “make ourselves at home”. The lady was super sweet and did my piercing so well. We made jokes the whole time and I was in and out in twenty minutes. HIGHLY recommend.

I had gotten my septum pierced here and they messed it up. It was crooked and the nose ring was huge. It was so bad that I couldnt even flip it up when I changed it out to a smaller one. They were nice though but I dont think Id ever go back.

Got a tattoo from the Master! Domo has been tattooing longer than most artists have been alive. Highly recommend!

I love this shop so much and have nothing but positive things to say about it. Domo has pierced me several times now. He is always very clean, friendly and professional as are the other artists. The shop has a vintage vibe to it and has a laid back environment. Highly recommend!

If I could give this place a zero I actually might give it a zero my dad took me today to get my belly button pierced for my 17th birthday and the moment I walked in a had a bit of a bad feeling. The guy who did my piercing was the older man and he was EXTREMELY rude. He told me to pick a piercing out which I did and he took me back to the room. I dont recall seeing him clean the piercing or wash his hands before hand. He did it without telling me first and he took his sweet time to get the piercing in knowing how nervous I was. He couldnt get the top of my piercing fast enough and he had to re-pierced my belly button bc I couldnt keep holding my breath to let him put it on the correct way. He made really rude remarks and he used THE SAME NEEDLE to pierce it again. Its already infected and Im In horrible pain. Dont go here. In the picture you can see the other hole they created which is extremely painful to where I cant even sleep

The owner does great tattoos BUT, good luck getting him to actually WANT to do your tattoo if it takes longer than an hr. He said himself hed rather do a bunch of $50 tattoos an hour than 1 big $$ tattoo that takes multiple hours. Every tattoo me and my husband asked about, he told us to go to a tattoo shop in Jackson each of the 3 times that we went in there. It was pretty smoky in there too from the cigarette smoke. Good tattoos and its nice they are open later than any other tattoo shop around but horrible people skills.

Out of at minimum 5 counties Domo was the ONLY shop open on a SATURDAY NIGHT! I dont understand how businesses of this kind close at 8. Oh well, he definitely has our business from here in out! Awesome guy!

I have to say that my experience at Ancient Art was extremely dissatisfying and has continued to haunt me up until recently. I went to this shop and the owner really didnt speak to me, however, the woman there did after I wandered around for about fifteen minutes. She treated me as if I were an idiot and as if she didnt have time for me, despite the shop being void of any paying customers at the time. So, I picked a tattoo off the wall, she placed it for me and that was that. However, near the end of my session the owner walked in and asked what the hell she was doing (Im assuming because the tattoo was so poorly done.) Once my tattoo healed the ink was patchy, the outline was poorly done, and I had scarring where the woman had run her needle dry through my skin. I had to pay twice as much to get this tattoo covered and it was twice as painful because my skin was so scarred. I am WARNING everyone that THIS IS NOT THE SHOP TO GO TO! Please heed my advice. Also, I would like to point out that a tattoo shops business should be based on its artists portfolio of tattoos, and it speaks volumes that the owner must troll Google and other various websites in order to convince people that his/her shop is worth your business. If fifty thousand satisfied customers had walked out of those doors, then surely they would be kind enough to right a positive review somewhere for the public.

This is a great tattoo shop, and domo is an a awesome artist! I’ve Been to his shop twice and loved both pieces. Lots of cool guitars and stories from mr domo himself. I would recommend ancient ark to anyone looking to get there piercing/tattoo done!!

Does not follow proper sanitary measures. Does not know how to properly pierce! Had to take a piercing out that the owner did himself, due to improper technique. A little discomfort is expected, but the pain was unbearable!! Also I noticed roaches crawling on one of the walls as I left. Will NOT be back for ANY kind of service!! Wouldnt give any stars at all if possible....

Shawna did my Zia Symbol. She drew the design after I explained what I wanted. She was very polite,, professional & the price was right. The quality of her work is superb. I went in a few days later & spoke to Domo who was very personable. I will be back. & recomend Ancient Art to everyone looking for quality tattoo or piercings.

I am not sure of the womans name but she was absolutely professional, and super to deal with. I give her a 10. She was fantastic and the owner is a super great guy. I highly recommend this place.

Very good, daughter didnt get a second rate tattoo thanks to Dumo, had her own design that needs more work done with it. Dumo pointed a few things out so when we go back she will get what she will be happy with. Thanks again Ancient Art. See you soon.

This place sucks.my mom went in to get her bellybutton redone and the lady messed up on it.you cant even see the bottom of the piercing and the lady made me hold the clamp so unprofessional.

I went to get a nipple piercing today and it was badly done. The ring is torn and my nipple hurts a lot. It is also bleeding more than it should.
