10/10!! Customer Service a 10 the staff and Artists a 10 the Dogs a 10. Everything about them was the best experience I have ever had at a shop. The Artist: Garrison did an amazing job best work I have ever got done. Def will be returning especially for Garrison. Prices are great as well I seen a lot of their work and the quality is top tier. Garrison really took his time and made sure several times everything is how I wanted it. Most def will be my home of Tattoos don’t think I’ll go anywhere else!!!!

Absolute love my first tattoo!! I had Garrison and he killed it, he helped calm my nerves and even showed me how it would feel before adding ink! The batman theme was also a huge plus because i’m literally batman! Definitely would return here :)

I visited The Tat Cave tonight for my tattoo appointment. To say I will return is an understatement. The atmosphere was amazing. The work was high quality. The prices are great. The area was clean. I was worried about things being weird and awkward but it was the total opposite. They act like they have known you forever! My artist was Stephen. Stephen was awesome about listening to what I wanted and making my vision come to life on my arm. This is my 2nd tattoo, but definitely not my last. 10/10 recommend!

All I can is, if I could cut my arm off to get rid of this disappointment then I would. I was very excited to get a melanoma ribbon to honor my brother-in-law finishing radiation and I felt confident in the Tat Cave because I have several family members who have had great work done there. Unfortunately that was not my experience. An apprentice there did my tattoo, which is fine and I expected it not to be the cleanest work; however, I did not expect it to be a truly horrible experience that I am now stuck with. He listened to his ear buds the entire time and didn’t speak to me. Also, this is what I asked for vs what I got. This thick black ribbon that I DID NOT WANT is going to be impossible to cover up. Not to mention, it does not match his which was what I asked for and provided photos of. Subpar effort and service!!

Great space, great artist Jay was amazing at making sure I was happy with placement, design and then work! I really recommend getting a tattoo from him, his energy and atmosphere was amazing. Will be back!

THESE GUYS ARE AWESOME!! Absolutely wonderful place to get tattooed!!!! I met Stephen fountain at a Friday the 13 event back in may 22 and I knew after he done my cross tattoo I would definitely be back making an appointment with him. Today me and my nephew went to get tattoos done by Stephen and he DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!!! So professional down to earth honest and light handed. Not to mention how great both of our tattoos turned out. Garrison Horne even said he would hold my hand cause I was a little nervous about my rib cage hurting more than my previous. But I never even squeezed his hand it didn’t hurt a bit!!I can’t say enough good things about the tat cave and everyone there!!

I had my best tattoo experience to date at The Tat Cave. It was the first one I’ve had done there so I wasn’t sure what to expect. My artist, Jay, was very easy to talk to while he did a phenomenal piece on my arm. I can’t wait to book my next appointment!

I had Stephen do a Hummingbird on my forearm in remembrance of my mother in law who recently passed. He is an incredible artist and did a great job. He is also doing a tattoo on my wife as well. Will definitely return.

It was great, nice people, great atmosphere, cool aesthetic. It was professional like a doctors office but a nice calm atmosphere. Honestly I cant find any reason to not go. The prices are great too.

I went to The Tat Cave Friday Nov. 17 to get my first tattoo. I had originally made an appointment for 1:00 at a different place, but they canceled on me 2 hours before my appointment. My friend and I then found The Tat Cave, and I decided to give them a call to see if they had any openings that evening. Stephen answered the phone and said he could squeeze me in that night. Immediately, without physically being in the building, I got such a good vibe. I went to see Stephen to explain to him what I wanted and he was able to come up with a drawing within a couple of hours. The tattoo place I had originally planned to go to did not send me any drawings and I had made the appointment a week in advance. When it came time for my appointment, I was extremely anxious since it was my first tattoo. In addition, Im sensitive to loud noises and vibrations, so I was a little worried that the noise coming from the tattoo gun would freak me out. Stephen made me feel so much more comfortable after he let me hear and feel the vibrations before we even started the tattoo. We also had an amazing conversation that helped ease my anxiety throughout the session. Overall, Stephen made the atmosphere of The Tat Cave welcoming and relaxing. My tattoo came out beautifully thanks to Stephen. I will definitely be coming back for all future tattoos! I could not ask for a better first experience!

Went for the Tuesday specials and left with 3 new tattoos! Jay did my tattoos and I’ll definitely be returning for more!

I was a bit nervous to get a new tattoo after so long in between tats, having aged a bit more 😒- but Jay made me feel completely at ease and not only that but went out of his way to draw my idea out to perfection and do it right then and there. When I thought, a day or so later, I needed to tinker with it a bit, despite probably not wanting to deal with my picky self, he did anyway and touched me up for free. Definitely props to him for his work and also dealing with my very ocd self. Even reaching out through texts to make sure I was completely happy with it.Thanks, Jay!

I went to here during the Friday the 13th special. Stephen gave me two tattoos and was great! Even though it was busy and loud he gave us his full attention and joked with us. There was a slight issue with one of my tats and he was quick to invite me back so that he could correct it! I love the vibe of this shop and Stephen is great!

I got two tattoos from Elvis, one was my grandfathers handwriting and the other was a matching one with a friend. I’m incredibly happy with how they both turned out, especially the handwriting which looks just like the original letter. I’ll definitely come back for more tattoos from him in the future.

Have gotten all of my tattoos here. It’s a clean, professional tattoo shop. The artists are great! I have an auto immune disorder that affects my tolerance to tattoos and Stephen has went above and beyond to make it work so that I can get the many tattoos I have always wanted.

I had the pleasure of getting 2 Friday the 13th tattoos from the Tat Cave. I’m always iffy about just getting random things done but Stephen and the rest of the Tat Cave were AMAZING. I have about 16 tattoos and this is by far my favorite place. The artists are amazing. I had a great time. Its not one of those places that just wants to take your money and kick you out. The pricing was great the shop its self is amazing you can tell they take pride in their place. Definitely 10 out of 10 Ill be going back to get all the rest of my work done finally found my last shop. I love how personal the work is your not just another appointment.

I went to Spartanburgs so called “best tattoo shop in the upstate” Palmetto ink for a consultation. I was charged $20.00 and the artist looked at the tattoo and the placement from a distance and told me he’d contact me for the tattoo appointment. I was referred to Ryan Davis he worked with me to get the perfect quarter sleeve tattoo that I can continue to have him add to. I am extremely satisfied with his work and the price. He even worked with me changing the drawing of the a few times, and never got irritated. Thank you Ryan I love my sleeve. I have found a great artist who really cares about what he does. The Tat Cave is a very clean and professional environment! I highly recommend this tattoo shop to anyone small tatto or large masterpieces Ryan is the best in the upstate!

I have been to dozens of tattoo shops and I can say with confidence that this one is very unique. If you are a Batman/Joker fanatic, youll feel right at home. The guys that work here are very nice and patient. All in all, a very good environment for getting tattoos!

I walked in with no appointment and had the next available artist(Thomas) take care of my tattoo in no time. The process was quick, professional and Thomas was nice. The setup was sick, the cave is a work of art and there are fire tvs in every room. I highly recommend them.

He wrote me the letter 7 years ago went and got the tattoo and Thomas Stone a tattoo artist a tat cave managed to pull off my dads hand writing to the exact T. The shop has an amazing Batman theme to it which also makes it extremely unique and fun to be in. Very professional above all else. I had a big issue with a tattoo I got previously. I was pretty unhappy and did initially leave a poor review but the manager there made sure to reach out was super eager to make it right, seemed very understanding and really wanted to help. From looking at all the other work Ive seen from them I just got a unlucky dud. Will be going back to do a cover up and Im confident Ill like the final product.

Ryan Davis did my sons feet prints and his info from birth & he did obsoletely AMAZING !! Over all my best tattoo and definitely will be going back to him ! He is really good with his work and knows exactly what he is doing !! If I could give it more than 5 stars I definitely would ! My first experience here was a complete adventure! A while ago I was looking for a new artist, I’d gotten a few tattoos before and even traveled regularly to get my first few. I was disappointed by my previous two artists as they either acted inappropriately or worked with little to no professionalism. I ran into one of Ryan’s (Tatt Man) clients at a grocery store and was absolutely stunned. His art was amazing and cleanly done; it to me; was worth the shot of getting ink again. I had gotten his card and hit him up for a cover up on my wrist, a small feather and some lettering, just a young teenager tattoo I didn’t mind losing for a bigger and better piece. He did a wicked good job, with this stunning blue rat holding a candle, he is a clever artist, a great cover up that I am going to love for the rest of my life, I’m very much looking forward to getting more work done with him in the future!!!

Once was a great place for a tattoo but now most of the time they brush you off on someone else untill someone finally say call the head owner and ask him then naturally you cant get him on the phone so I would wast my time or money there

The tat cave is the coolest tat shop I’ve been in Ryan and his crew are super chill and do a great job and they do a great job and making u feel comfortable I got my first tat there and definitely plan on going back and would recommend anyone who’s wanting a tat to go there.
