I had a coworker highly recommend Spring St. Tattoo. Reached out to Austin to discuss what I was looking for and setup an appointment with him. This was my first time here and was super impressed with the shop. I’ve walked into other shops before feeling like an outsider, but walking into Spring St. Tattoo I was greeted promptly and knew I picked the right spot for my next tattoo. I really appreciate Austin’s detail to my tattoo. He provided options that I didn’t even think of, really appreciate putting in the extra detail. Plenty of flash options on the walls, the shop was super clean too. Love how the tattoo came out and look forward to scheduling another appointment with Austin in the near future. Thanks, Harambe

Took my girls to have their ears pierced. Tracy was wonderful and very professional. She explained everything and her demeanor is so calming. The entire experience was wonderful. Highly recommend her for any piercing needs.

A group of us were out of town on a golf trip and decided we wanted to get tattoos. We found Spring Street Tattoo on a whim. I never leave reviews, but this experience was worthy of one! Madison did my tattoo and we talked like we had been friends forever rather than just meeting. Wonderful environment and even better staff! If we are ever that way again we will definitely be back!

Tracy is incredible! Very knowledgeable and kind. Theres a great selection of jewelry to choose from and I wanted a few horseshoe gauges and she ordered them right away and came in quickly. She is a QUEEN!Lee Rowlett is my tattoo artist and is amazingly talented and kind as well.Everyone at this shop is super duper and I can’t recommend it enough. All of the artists are great. Wonderfully LGBTQIA+ allies and provides a safe space for comfort.

Went in for my boyfriend to get their nose and ears pieced. Tracy was an amazing walked us through the process and sent out all the after care. I will be going back to get pieced as well! Highly recommend!!

Got my first tattoo here, and they are so welcoming and nice! I got my butterfly tattoo from Alicia. She was super nice and did a perfect job with my tattoo! She made me feel comfortable during the whole process, as it was new to me. Definitely recommend, plan on coming back when I want my next one.

Tracy is awesome! Got a few new piercings and had some jewelry changed out. She did a great job and just is in general a great person to chat with.

I went to Spring Street Tattoo while I was on vacation, visiting my sister. I wanted to get my second piercing on my ears. Tracy was absolutely amazing! She explained everything thoroughly, was super friendly, made sure I liked the placement, & was so sweet! She even texted me care instructions & gave me extra tops for my posts, in case one came off. I would highly recommend her for all your piercing needs!

Spring street is the best around. Jason did a cover up for me and made sure it was done and would be healed in time for my wedding. I never had any issues to stop in and get it touched up as my original tattoo that was covered had a lot of black. The new piece is bright and bold and has held the color so well. I get tons of compliments on it and can’t wait to go back to see him for my next piece. Every artist there is super talented.

I have had 2 tattoos here so far, both done by Grace but I have been able to interact with Jason and a few others while in the shop. Very clean facility, very polite staff with a relaxed atmosphere, and very talented artists all around. Sounds like they have someone doing walk ins most days, but you can schedule an appointment if you have a complex or detailed design.

Had a great experience! I got my first tattoo as a way to celebrate 3 months sober. Grace did an amazing job coming up with the design and making sure that the end result was meaningful and looked great. Couldn’t be happier and I will definitely be back. Already thinking about what the next one will be. Strongly recommend both Grace and Spring St!

I drove about two hours to get tattooed by Grace today and it was beyond worth it! She made me feel so comfortable from start to finish. I got two tattoos from Grace’s “tattoo plinko” option and she was so patient with me and helpful on figuring out the perfect placement for the space on my arm that I was wanting to fill. I had an awesome experience and I will be making the drive to see Grace again soon!

Jason rocks! I had a bad experience for my first tattoo at a shop in Louisville so I was VERY hesitant to get my next tattoo. After a few years of following his work, but also seeing him travel to different shops in the US, I was so excited to see him settle into a So In shop! I scheduled not too long after they opened and dont have any reason to go anywhere else! Its a very cool atmosphere and isnt as overbearing as a lot of shops can be. Definitely recommend - and have lots of times!

Best tattoo shop in Kentuckiana. Grace is an absolute gem and all the artists in the shop are friendly and lovely to be around. Not to mention the sheer talent, all in one shop! You could get a tattoo from any artist there and I can guarantee youll love it. Reasonable pricing and they all make you feel comfortable if you have questions. Cant wait to go back.

Jason baressi did an AMAZING job, it was the first time hes done any work on me and it was the best experience Ive ever had with a tattoo artist. I came in because I had major blowout around a tattoo on my upper arm. Id seen Jasons work with cover ups and booked an appointment. I had no idea how he was going to fix the blue blur but he was able to incorporate new elements and background that flowed beautifully with the existing tattoo and my other pieces. This place is seriously top notch and the artists are professional and outrageously talented. Ill definitely be going back for more!

I have been getting tattooed by Jason at Spring St. Tattoo for years now and I have nothing but amazing things to say about him and his work. First, his creativity is inspiring. As someone who isnt a creative genius, I bring him words, a few references, a general idea of what I like/what Im looking for and he transforms that into a beautiful piece every single time. He is helpful when I am unsure of where to take an idea and an expert in regards to placement. I chalk all of that up to vision and experience. I have a couple tattoos by other artists, but I always come back to Jason - after all, consistency is key. Hes also done a few cover ups for me as well, something I wouldnt trust to anyone else. The quality of his work is superior, and his humor is on point. I love the shop hes at currently, the rest of the artists there are fantastic as well. Its a gorgeous place in a great location (right near a coffee shop!).

Jason Barresi did my first tattoo today, and it was great! I can’t speak highly enough of him. Of his character, he was funny, easygoing, made great music suggestions, and kept the mood light through the more painful parts. Of his work, his lines were thick and clean, the color palette he chose was beautifully complementary, and he was quick, but accurate. If you are in the Kentuckiana area, I HIGHLY recommend this artist/shop.

Took a photo of my fathers tattoo after he passed and Brian was able to give me a great tribute tattoo on short notice. Their artist each have a unique style and everyone seemed super friendly. Have recommended and will continue to do so.

Brian is a super nice guy. He used to my exes tattoos which look amazing. I haven’t personally got tattooed by him and going to change that ASAP! Immediately felt comfortable (no creepy tattoo guy vibes) if you’re concerned about feeling comfortable and getting good work done. I strongly recommend to anyone.

Spring Street is a great place to get tattooed. This is by far one of the best shops in Louisville/Southern Indiana. Great, very talented and welcoming staff that will give you the best service possible. Will definitely be back for another tattoo from Brian soon.

I got tattooed by Grace at Spring Street on Friday the 13th. It was a great experience. Grace was so welcoming and easy to work with and went above and beyond to make my tattoo exactly what I wanted. Not the most inviting/ welcoming vibe when you walk into this place. I came in and waited for a while before I realized they want you to sign in, then wait in your car🤦🏾‍♀️ When I got to the back, it was str8 to business, asked if I had any question or needed a count. Got my philtrum pierced quick and easy, looks so good, and no complications 👍🏾

If any of my friends ever want a tattoo, I always tell them to go to Spring Street. I live in Louisville & they groan when they hear y’all are in Indiana, but I tell them it’s worth the extra few minutes to get there. To me, it would be worth hours of driving. Everyone at Spring Street is so nice, it is clean, and full of beautiful art. And most importantly, I have never experienced even an ounce of toxic masculinity or misogyny there, that unfortunately occurs in other tattoo shops. This place is awesome and inclusive. I get most of my work done by Grace, who is so incredibly talented & kind, and has an amazing funny & artistic mind that can create a perfect work of art for you. I waited for quite a while to get in with tattoo artist Lee Rowlett. It was with the wait! Lee is gifted, knowledgeable, and doesnt mind questions from a novice client like myself.I would highly recommend Lee Rowlett, and Spring St. Tattoo!Now, fast forward to April, 2023 and I have now been to Lee Rowlett four more times. He is a master at his art. I have plans for more visits in the future. Spring Street Tattoo in Jeffersnville is your place, Lee Rowlett is my recommendation.

Jason has been without a doubt the best artist I have ever met and gotten tattood by. I get praise daily on the roses shading and detail in my favorite piece. I tell everyone about spring st tattoo and now I’m telling you. This should be the only shop you trust with your art.

Visited this shop for an ACLU fundraiser / tattoo event and had a great experience. Each artist does amazing work and I recommend looking at their Instagram to see events/updates/styles of each artist that works there. Very comfortable and welcoming environment. (: I cannot recommend Grace enough!

I have never been in a shop full of talent prior to spring street. I love everyones styles and the gorgeous art they produce keeps me wanting more and more tattoos! Quality of work is spectacular. My valkyrie brings me tons of compliments.

I honestly don’t have enough nice things to say about Spring Street Tattoo. In November of 2018, I lost my grandmother and was searching for a tattoo in honor of her. In March, I saw some designs that were up for grabs from Jason and my search was over. I was able to get an appointment quickly and my experience was honestly the best I’ve ever had being tattooed. If you are looking for a tattoo studio in the area, don’t think of going anywhere else!
