State Street Tattoo

I got a Cowboy Bebop tattoo done by Kira at State Street Tattoo. I absolutely love the way my tattoo turned out. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I will absolutely return and recommend!

State street tattoo is amazing! Today was my first professional tattoo on my birthday and B.J was so nice. He came out in a snow storm I was super grateful! This is definitely the only place Ill be getting my tattoos done from now on!

I had one done today by JPVega... cannot give high enough reviews. So responsive, collaborative and intentional. He did one for my daughter as well (both were for an incredibly sad family event) with such compassion. I never thought I would have a tattoo, but because of this artist, I would go back.

Got my first tattoo here a few weeks ago from John. He was very professional and helped me through, since I was definitely a bit stressed going in at first. My tattoo has healed well and he was great to talk to, and definitely will come back when I get more ideas.

State Street does an amazing job. John Vega is super talented and trustworthy! Awesome atmosphere and down-to-earth people. I dont ever want to go anywhere else!

I contacted Gia about getting a custom half sleeve about a month ago and came to the appointment on time. I requested to see the sketch before the the appointment to have some time to talk about the tattoo back and forth and she said that would not be a problem. I contacted her multiple times to see the sketch and she responded two days before the appointment day that she would have it done the day of. I requested specific types of flowers for this half sleeve and when I arrived to the shop early it was closed and they arrived two minutes before the appointment. Showed me the sketch and she left out a significant portion of the design(almost half) from the tattoo without telling me before hand. I asked her if we could possibly add the flowers in and was told that they would not flow right with the tattoo. I told her that the flowers had emotional connection to people who picked them and was told that I would have to get a separate tattoo if I wanted to get those flowers. Also the tattoo I was shown was not even a full half sleeve but only the bicep tattoo.

I have been wanting to get work dine here for years! Well worth the wait and beyond happy with the finished product! The whole staff was friendly and made me feel at home. Can’t wait to go back for more!

Best tattoo parlor in the area. Damien is the best artist in the place and does amazing pieces every time. Already have two pieces done by him and cant imagine getting my next ones with anyone else!
