After a bad experience with another local shop, i stopped in here . I was immediately greeted by Lauren, who was incredibly warm and welcoming .We discussed my idea and she helped me to finalize the details ! She was very genuine and cleary talented ! I met some really nice staff and the owner , all very talented and very kind . I highly recommend Taboo Tattoos they were amazing 👏 😍 👌

This place is the best! I was scared to get my first tattoo but they made me feel welcomed since the moment I walked in. @Ginageeart is just the best! She made the whole experience just amazing. She’s the nicest and her work is perfect! I got my first two tattoos in less of a week because she made me feel so comfortable and I loved her work!

I had a cover-up tattoo completed and it absolutely blew me away. Owner and staff do everything possible to be accommodating. No reason not to go here.

Taboo is absolutely one of the best tattoo shoos around & the artists are all incredibly talented! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed into a super clean and friendly shop. While all of the artists are amazing, I have been going to Gina for a few months now & she is overall just incredible. Gina is so sweet, kind, and makes you feel so comfortable the entire time from making sure you’re physically alright, but also she’s just a warm person to be around! Her artwork is amazing, from black & white to color, including her flash and custom designs and you can tell how passionate she is about her work and her clients’ experience at Taboo. If you’re not completely sure on placement or the design, Gina will take the time to help you create something amazing that you will be so, so happy with. It’s always a great experience coming here & thank you for all of my spooky, awesome pieces of far Gina!

Amazing! The shop is super clean and there’s a great atmosphere in the shop. The shop texted me to confirm my appointment and the owner is super nice. My artist Kasey is the absolute BEST! There’s a reason she won best tattoo artist in New Jersey. She took the time to lay out my tattoo and spent a detailed amount of time making sure it fit properly and was in line.Kasey is an awesome person and she worked hard to make sure every aspect of the piece was to her standards. Comfortable studio and friendly staff. I enjoyed having the owner come in and check on the appointment and make conversation. Made the experience relaxed and comfortable. Would recommend the shop and Kasey to everyone!

I’ve been coming to Tae for yearsssss to do my tattoos. He brings so much energy & makes sessions enjoyable no matter how much pain I’m in lol.

Everyone is so nice and welcoming, I got my first tattoo here and I could not be more thankful that Kash did it, what a fantastic artist and Human being! His tattoo to memorialize my bird and father was exactly as I pictured it when I decided to get it. They were also super accommodating to get me in!!! I would highly recommend them and Kash but everyone there does amazing work!!! Thank you all again!!! They deserve way more than 5 stars.

Taboo is a very reputable shop in the area. You can tell that cleanliness is a priority as well as putting their customers first/making them feel comfortable. Artists pay close attention to detail and are very helpful. They make good suggestions towards the artwork and collaborate with the customer to make the tattoo even better! The environment is great, everyone is super nice. If you decide to go here for your next tattoo you will not be disappointed. Overall great experience at taboo!

5 Stars is not enough for a rating on this business I cant stress that out enough I wish I could give this place 10 STARS instead of 5 I had got my tattoo done with Kasey and she did an EXCELLENT A++++++ job really went above and beyond works with you and hears you out her line work and placement is out of this world...... But I was also able to meet the other tattoo artists like Kash & Madison and they are fantastic artists I even got to see them do tattoo work on other clients as well and they have such an amazing hand for this if you dont believe me check out their art work it speaks for itself. I really felt comfortable being there and they had me feel right at home the owner is also a sweet person if this is your first time getting a tattoo or your doing add on look no further you stepped into the right shop I promise. I cant wait to continue to finish my sleeve off :)

I had my first tattoo by Julia. She was so sweet and patient with me. She explained everything to me and made me feel comfortable and at ease. Diane was so helpful in booking my appointment. I love my tattoo which is a tribute to my husband. I would highly recommend this place

Diane, the front desk associate is an amazingly polite and patient person. Working to keep schedules through the pandemic and the multiple personal difficulties and resulting uncomfortable personalities we have all come to know while still maintaining a personable atmosphere, she singlehandedly makes this shop an amazing place to go...And then there’s the work by the artists. That is second to none. Definitely the place to go.

This is a class A establishment with everyone there making you feel like part of the Taboo family right from the getgo; and thats important when you are sitting in the chair fir several hours. HIGHLY recommend Kash who is meticulous and focused and never rushed, as he says, this is your time and when we finish we finish...if someone is waiting then they wait because soon ot will be THEIR time in the chair and he will focus all his attention on them! Kash is awesome artist and extremely personable, you leave your session with an incredible tattoo and also a new friend. looking forward to my next tattoo in September, already booked! Coming to this shop is such a pleasure. Kasey and Madi have both tattooed me and I absolutely adore them both. This shop is like big hilarious family which wouldn’t be complete without shop mom, Diane. Couldn’t recommend their work or professionalism or the experience more.

Thank you, Fitz! I had been thinking about my first tattoo for a while, so I went to Taboo late last Saturday night on a whim, based on a recommendation from someone who has 7 tattoos done by Fitz. He was very professional and so nice. He put me at ease laughing about all kinds of stuff with my sister in law and me. She was impressed with his Zuni fetish doll, he was impressed that she knew what it was. All in all a great experience and i will always recommend Fitz and Taboo Tattoos to anyone who wants another tattoo or a first timer like me. Thank you, Fitz!! I love my cat tattoo! Great job, great guy!!

Came here after visiting a few other places in town. It was my first tat in over ten years, so I was a little nervous. Doug and Fitz, who has since passed away, made me feel comfortable talking humor and history for the duration of the session. Was fair priced as well.I went back 8 months later and got another done by his son in law, couldn’t be happier with the custom drawing, the care, communication and Courtesy I received.I will be back for more.

Absolutely love the place and the people here! They always make you feel comfortable and will advise alternatives if something is not gonna work or if they have an idea that improves what you want! I always bring friends and family who are getting their first tattoo or piercing because this is the place to be!

This shop is completely unprofessional. I had kasey Retouch a tattoo she had done prior and she had still missed spots. She came in an hour late so I figured she was just rushing. I also had her do a tattoo behind my ear which when I first came in she had something completely different drawn up then I had showed her. After the fourth time of her drawing something up I told her it was fine.. I honestly regret that because it is the one tattoo I regret. I wish I would’ve just told her if she could not do what I want then I will go somewhere else. She also had her friends in the room with us so I feel like she just was not paying attention to me at all plus not taking Covid serious, Would not recommend at all.

Julia is absolutely amazing. She just started but is a really talented artist and is truly someone who will put some sick art on your body. I would recommend her to anybody because her style is super versatile. I already have like 5 tattoos from her!

Took my son for his B-Day loved his tat. Would love to get more for myself. The shop is very clean tattooist very nice knowledgeable. Next tat for sure going there. I would absolutely recommend to anyone getting a tat to check it out.

My friend and i went in to get two separate piercings. i got my tragus pierced, and she got her helix and upper love done. the guy who did it didn’t seem like he knew what he was doing. we walked in and asked if the piercer was there (it was pretty late) and he looked a little confused and said that he was the piercer. he was in the middle of helping other clients, and left them to help us, which is rather rude. the lady at the front desk was on the phone while we were checking in, also rude.we go back into this room which didn’t look clean at all. he pierced my friend first and he used a plastic one time use piercing stapler. A PROFESSIONAL PIERCER USED A PIERCING STAPLER. WHAT?then he used a needle for her helix, only after her saying she wanted a hoop in her ear, which you should never pierce with a hoop.then it was my turn, he pierced it CROOKED with a hoop!fast forward, both of our piercings got infected, regardless of all of our extensive care, which he didn’t disclose how to care for them. i knew because i have lots of piercings as it is, but my friend did not. we have both taken out the piercings and i now have a scar on my ear!!needless to say we will not be going back there.i am not sure about the art work and tattooing abilities but DO NOT GO HERE TO GET PIERCED!!

I had an appointment for April 26 at 6. I walked in and the lady at the front tells me my appointment is the 28th at 7:30 when in the texts she had confirmed April 26. I come back on the 28th at 7:00 and there’s no one in the shop. We call and text the receptionist Diane and the tattoo artist multiples times and they never reached back out or picked up the phone. While we are waiting Diane pulls up to the shop and tries to walk the other way and we call out for her name. She curses and yells at us for obviously being mad that no one answered our texts or calls. She says that she called and told us but I never received no call. This place is very unprofessional. I would not recommend this place at all. Also we had our apppoinent since the beginning of March. It’s ridiculous.

I shared a video of my spooky demonic bald eagle tattoo done by Madi. I was a tattoo virgin before this bouncing to various shops trying to understand the process of getting a tattoo. Madi has a spot open otherwise I would have had to wait 3 months to book her! Which really gave me hope and excitement that I was going to get the tattoo I craved. And needless to say Madi did an even better job than the original photo I had shown of what I wanted to get. We made edits the day of discussing the tattoo and ensuring that it was everything I was expecting. Great staff and family in there would highly recommend coming here for your first tattoo especially if you are nervous about having a good quality tattoo. It will be worth the wait and investment going to finish my arm with Madi soon!!

This is a great place to get Amazing tattoos! Clean and organized ! Fitz is on the money!! Ive gotten some of my best work from him at Taboo tattoos...If youre thinking about getting ink you must go here!!!

This shop is very unprofessional !!!! I booked months in advance, paid a deposit, and confirmed my appt days before the actual appt. On the day of my tattoo artist randomly stopped answering his phone. He never came in for my appt when i had to drive 30 minutes to come in. His booking assistant was very rude!!! Hung up on me while i was voicing my concerns and told me my next appt( if chosen to make another one) wouldn’t be until january !!!! Very unprofessional and i don’t recommend anyone using this shop.

First time going there. Had a tattoo done by Fitz. He was great. Tattoo came out awesome. Place is super clean. Will def be going back to have Fitz do my other tattoos.

Nice people but I had a bad experience. While I was getting my belly piercing, the guy had a hard time piercing my belly button & kept clamping my belly button. Which hurt a lot & took awhile. the piercer preceded to jab me with the needle until finally he got it in. and Yet I’m still unsatisfied with the outcome of my belly piercing. Cleaned it everyday and yet my body rejected it so quick since the piercing was hanging by a hair. Wondering if anything can be done about this ? Otherwise $$$ down the drain for nothing :/ please email me [email protected] : this happened before the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Went for my first tattoo, absolutely love it! Kash is an incredible artist and he incorporated EVERYTHING I asked for. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I’ve been going to taboo since 2010 & have had nothing but great experiences with them. I got my chest, back and left sleeve all done there. They do amazing work, and the staff is extremely friendly & professional. I would highly recommend Taboo

Mooki is a class act guy with amazing art work with a great attitude. I knew from first meeting him that he was my new guy due to a new move. He met all of my expectations and then some. You can tell he loves his craft. Go to the shop and check out some of his sick detailed comic art work that is published in comics repeatedly I met this guy twice and cant say enough about his work. I cannot wait to go back and get another one. What a great experience. Thanks Mooki.

Went there one week ago for my first tattoo and it was a great experience. Fitz made the experience a positive one. Would definitely go back for another one.

I got tattooed today by fitz he gave me 2 doves and clouds around my mothers name a fairly big piece, and not only was it a good price it was a great job and he gave me exactly what i wanted. i think he is going to be my tattoo artist for good. def go get one from him .

If you are looking for a Fancy shop, this is not it. If you are looking for excellent work, professional and interpersonal people and clean sanitary conditions, this is the place. Perky made the first tatto a wonderful experience, and her work was impeccable.

The guy didnt pierce my septum properly AT ALL!!!! and made me think i had a deviated septum when an actual professional did it perfectly. and none of them wore masks. NO ONE AT ALL. at any time what so ever. covid infested for sure.

This place is amazing I’ve had nothing but good experiences here and I’ve gotten almost my whole left arm done the artist was very patient and very helpful everyone is very friendly the beds are extremely comfortable in my opinion you could sleep on them and the artist by the name of kash is always bumpin some good music extremely happy
