My daughter Lisa Vestal and I had a great experience with Dr. Hilton. He was great and explained everything in detail. Im actually going to have him remove a cyst on my back. Im very confident that he will do a great job. Thank you Cleavers for hiring him to join your team.

My visit to Cleaver Dermatology for a follow up appt. was great. No long wait in lobby or waiting for Dr. Resident Dr. was pleasant & professional & Dr. Lloyd Cleaver stopped in too. They always tell you what they see & whether I need to be concerned about it. They get permission before treating/freezing any spots that could become a problem & explain as they are doing it.

From admissions to the Doctors, I feel like everyone is very friendly, thorough and profesional :) I had an issue I had been dealing with for a long time. Dr Cleaver and his staff took the time to listen to everything that had been going on as well as things I had tried to make sure I got the treatment that would help me.

We had an appointment and was told to use a topical medication and if that did not show signs of improvement the provider would call in an oral medication. I called the office to let them know that we tried the topical and we would like to try the oral medication like we discussed at the appointment. When I called the office I was told that the provider now wants us to make another appointment before they will call in the oral medication. This was not what we were told at the appointment. I feel like if the provider tells the patient a treatment plan they should stick to the plan that was discussed with the patient.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. It doesnt matter which doctor you see all the physicians are very qualified. They listen well.

Dr. Cleaver was very thorough. He explained what steps needed to be taken very clearly. Each issue I had was addressed completely. The staff is also excellent.

I have been to Cleaver 4 or 5 times.My experience is better every time.The doctors are very intelligent, patient, kind, and take whatever time is needed to make sure they are thorough, and that you understand everything. All of the office staff and doctor assistants are very kind and understanding as well.Everything you could; want all in one place.Accepting veterans too.5 stars, would recommend to anyone 👌Thanks to everyone there my experience was awesome.

Great doctors and staff! The only complaint I had with my visit was I was told when I made the appointment that I could get the procedure the same day.

Debbie went above and beyond to help my son get the medicine that he needed. She spend endless amounts of time calling CVS Pharmacy and his insurance. This is a very professional doctors office that treats their patients like family.

The staff and doctors are friendly and caring. I find the level of care to be excellent. The doctor I saw on my last visit was very thorough and explained my problems and affects with medication help more than I had understood previously. Very pleased and felt a much, much better understanding.

I liked meeting with the physician by myself. The physician was personable and intelligent, and I felt like I could be myself and as responsive and transparent as I could be. I also felt as if I was participating and not simply being examined.

The front desk is always extremely friendly and expedite the check in, the doctor and his staff always listen carefully to any concerns I have, and are positive in their assessment. My husband has also been their patient for many years for psoriasis. They have been diligent in treating him until he has been pretty much plaque free for 4 years. We are fortunate to have the treatments they offer available right here in Kirksville. Highly recommend them!

I think one treatment should have taken care of the problem but after two treatments was told I would probably have to do it again as this type can come back. It never was removed.

Dr. Cleaver and his Staff are the finest Dermatologists West of the Mississippi River and East of Denver. Dr. Lloyd Clever saved my life by detecting an urgent needed surgery on my toe.

The nurse, Emma was very pleasant and helpful. The female provider answered my questions and concerns and reassured me that my nose would end up looking good. Dr David reassured me that the healing was going well.

I was seen by Dr Lane and a nurse practioner and then by Dr David Cleaver. They were exceptional and concerned about my health issues and explained everything where I as a lay person could understand what they were discussing with me. I highly recommend this place and the people that work there.

The doctors at Cleaver do a wonderful job balancing professionalism with friendly conversation that takes the nerves away. My 17 year old son had appt @3, when he got there they made him leave since parent/guardian wasnt there with him, remind you I filled out all the paperwork the same day I made appt, all they had to do was check and see it was done. Made him leave without even calling anyone. Jessica answered the phone was very friendly, thank you, she didnt know why they sent him away all paperwork was in file, so she said he could come back. When he came back the lady at front desk asked my kid why didnt he tell her that I filled it out?! He had no clue I did and wasnt his responsibility. All had to do was apologize to my child and I would been ok but he got reprimanded instead.

My appointment with Cleaver Dermatology was nothing but extraordinary. I arrived just on time and the receptionist had me checked in before I could even make it to the desk. The waiting room was immaculate and filled with pleasant patrons who I could tell were also enjoying their experience. A short time later I was called into the back and my 8 month old son and I were met by multiple physicians who greeted us with kindness and smiles. My Kind nurse took my general information promptly. Immediately after she exited the room Dr. Jonathan and Dr. Jones entered my exam room. The team was very patient, passionate and thorough. Dr. Jones was even kind enough to care for my son as Dr. Jonathan performed some minor procedures on me. It was a great experience and I highly recommend Cleaver dermatology to anyone. Thank you!

Having been going to Cleaver Dermatology for several years, I have always had a very positive experience with a very professional and efficient staff. in this most recent visit for a periodic check up, there was a new physician who is part of the team and he was the doctor who saw me initially. It was a very refreshing experience and consistent with my experiences at Cleaver Dermatology that he took time to know as individual rather than just a another patient. As is commonly the case, they also had a medical student there who was experiencing the clinical environment as part of her medical studies. I really like seeing that and fully support it. Dr. Cleaver (who established the practice) came in to see me after the initial assessment and overview, and he is the person who treated me, and, as always, did an excellent job not only in his medical actions but also in explaining the diagnoses for various minor issues and the prognosis for them including the link between skin tabs and colon polyps. He takes the time to make sure you understand what’s going on. Bravo!!!

Good people, great service, quick action. Two med techs and two Drs. took a genuine interest in me & my situation. One regret; I was offered material to consider a blue light treatment but they forgot to provide it, and I forgot to ask for it.

I had a skin cancer removed successfully. After three months there is barely a mark and within a few more months I expect it to be entirely unnoticeable. The staff is very friendly and professional and Ill definitely be back for regular checkups.

This was my first appointment with the doctor. Staff was friendly and efficient. I filled out all the necessary paperwork and I waited only a few minutes after turning that in. I was seen by the nurse first. Then the doctor came in introduce himself and then asked why I was there. He listened and examined my skin. He was very thorough and very polite. I needed only a cream and was directed out and check out at the front desk. Very positive experience.

We love this clinic. We are in there quite often and all the nurses, staff and physicians are kind and caring. They listen to my children and talk TO them instead about them. My son is special needs and every single employee is always going out of their way to make him feel important and comfortable. They respect my opinions and answer my many questions as a parent.

Extremely clean, I felt very comfortable and safe walking in. A gorgeous lobby, I love the natural light from the giant windows coming in. Staff was extremely pleasant and I barely had to wait at all before being seen. I have already made another appointment for a check up next month. I will definitely recommend this clinic to others.

The staff were all very professional and nice. Dr. Cleaver explained everything very clearly and the procedure was very fast . The only problem was that my husband prescription was called in to both Brookfield and Kirksville, Brookfield had it filled when we went to The Kirksville Walmart.. took about 20 minutes to figure that out … so we took the country road to Brookfield !😉 nice drive !!

I received fast courteous service, I arrived on time for my appointment checked in at the front desk and barely got seated in a very clean and modern waiting area when I was called in to see the Doctor. I was just having some sunspots on my face and other areas removed. The Doctor checked me over and spoke with me about some options on one of my concerns, after which he immediately went to work and 10 minutes later I was leaving the facility. Easy peezy , fast and efficient service. Very pleased.

Ive been going to Dr. Lloyd Cleaver. Since 1982. He first found Melanoma on me then. Hes taken very good care of me ever since. The others are good but he has this old man spoiled.

I started going to Dr. Lloyd Cleaver when I was a teenager for a suspicious mole and mild acne. The mole was removed with ease and you cant even tell where it was. Acne was treated and cleared. As a teenager, to have your confidence back with clear skin was priceless. They were wonderful!Now, 20 some years later, Im back in the area and went yesterday for a check up. What a nice facility and staff! I spent 7 years in the laser hair removal, cosmetic/aesthetic and plastic surgery industry in metropolitan areas, and will give rave reviews to all four Dr. Cleavers, their residents, assistants and staff. From start to finish, it is a welcoming, professional, clean and inviting environment. Now that Ive got the all clear, Ill definitely be back to visit the spa for some pampering. I took my son to their traveling clinic in Chillicothe. The staff was friendly and professional. The wait time in the beginning was a bit long, however, not an unnecessarily amount of time. Once back in the room the nurse was very polite and friendly. The resident doctor came in initially and she was a gem! Very courteous and informative. Dr. Cleaver then came in and he was friendly as well. They were able to lay out a plan of action to help with my sons skin care needs and even let us know to call them should our insurance not help with the medications perscribed (the route or type of medication given) they would work with the pharmacy to allow us to get the maximum benefits from our insurance.

The Doctor did everything in one visit, and everyone I dealt with at the office that day was extremely friendly and helpful about the procedure. I left the office without pain and feeling very happy with going through with the referral. However, when I called the Kirksville office for results a week after, I spoke to Tammy and had a bad experience. She was very unpleasant and rude. For someone going to share results, she was not compassionate and came off very cold and short. It wasnt for her, I would have given all 5 stars.

The appointment was right on time. I was treated with respect, my qiestioms were answered. This was a post surgery visit and the Doctor was vary forthcoming with what to do for best long term and what to expect. This is a great place for your care.

I took my 5 year old daughter there and they had to remove a blood vessel that popped out of her skin by her eye. They were very good with her and explained to her exactly what they were doing, every step in detail. She didn’t cry during the whole procedure. They were great with her!

Even though I have had bad experiences with other specialists seen at the DCH Outpatient Clinic, I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly & smoothly things were operated with this staff & Dr. Cleaver. No issues with Clever Dermatology. They have a clean, modern facility. The patient intake process seems streamlined. Once you are taken back, you are not waiting too long for a doctor.However, given what they charge and the quality of the facility, they really should have a barista serving complimentary coffee beverages (I am not joking, they should really have that). If this facility were in a city, it probably would have that feature. :)

Cleaver Dermatology is the most professional, kind and caring bunch of wonderful people. Starting with the receptionists all the way to Lloyd Cleaver himself. Melanoma struck me at what I consider a young age. When you hear that word MELANOMA it kind of stops you in your tracks. Cleaver Dermatology were quick to action and thankfully were able to get it all without further treatment. I have since been going there for skin checks and have had other types of cancer removed as well. The whole team are always very knowledgeable and caring even when I go in and they know I have been noncompliant with sunscreen. I highly recommend ALL of the Dermatologists who work here. They have become like family.

I was early for my appointment and got right in to see the dr. He was very thorough in the exam and treated some skin cancers. He advised me to use and spf moisturizer which i have gotten and am using and talked about some other skin issues I have that he could help with. Very positive and kind.

Cleaver Dermatology is always very thorough, professional and friendly. Through the years I have always encountered nothing but joyful and kind employees working there. More recently I have developed rosacea. Dr. Cleaver was extremely knowledgeable and helped me quickly get a handle on and continues to help me manage my rosacea. I went to Cleaver Dermatology to have several places examined that I suspected could be the beginnings of melanoma since I spent a lot of time in the sun when I was younger. The examination was thorough and I had six places frozen off and another surgically removed. The wait in the waiting room was short and the doctors and staff were prompt, thorough and efficient.

I went to Cleaver Dermatology at the Moberly location. I was told to be there 30 min early since I was a new patient. To my surprise no one was there. The staff finally arrived but did not seem very organized. Once they got settled everything went very smoothly. I will use them again in the future.

As a first time patient for a dermatology check, I was a little anxious because I suspected I would need a mole removed. The staff and Drs were beyond wonderful and made me very comfortable during my visit and procedure. I highly recommend them!

First time visit at a derm and had thorough mole exam and got prescriptions i needed for acne. First a resident saw me and then Dr. Nathan cleaver was just as thorough after. He caught things I didnt even know were a problem, gave me samples of cream for dry skin on my arms, gave me two pharmacy coupons that made my insurance copay $0 on my prescriptions, and gave me a free referral mail in service that sends me a cleanser every month. Answered all of my questions about acne and the prescriptions, and gave good patient education about sunscreen and changes in moles to look for- I appreciated the emphasis on preventative care. Very professional, staff was courteous and I didnt wait long to see a provider. In and out in under 30 minutes, albeit I didnt have any major concerns or problems. All of the docs also teach courses at the medical school (which is also their alma mater) in town, so theyre up to date on best practices and involved in the community. Very conscientious of patient financial limitations and work with it.

Cleaver Dermatology is an excellent place furry if your adolescent is breaking out or yourself or if youre just feeling older and a little more wrinkly theyve got stuff to fix you tried it on my 50th birthday absolutely fell in love with it if I could get fillers and a little Botox like you should I would get it in a minute but I dont have money for so I just have to keep some of my wrinkles with my gray hair and look my age but I dont have to act like it, but Cleavers is an excellent excellent place to go for any Dermatology needs very clean through staff very friendly doctors are wonderful I highly recommend Cleaver Dermatology!!!

Took a day off work, drove an hour to come there and was told we couldnt be seen because they didnt accept our insurance. The same insurance the person over the phone took and said they accepted! Then the receptionist told us shes assuming we cant pay the $200 so sorry, but we cant help you worst customer service ever!! What a waste of time!

I continue to be impressed with the order and efficient steps cleaver derm brings to a health care delivery system. The most recent is the steps added to minimize exposure during this pande emic.
