I want to start off by saying, I’ve only gotten pierced at Claire’s, which I’ve learned is a huge mistake. I decided to go to a professional piercer, and could not be happier. Jennifer is super knowledgeable, friendly & trustworthy. I knew immediately I was in great hands. She goes over everything in a lot of detail, so you truly understand how to take care of your piercing(s), and why they may have failed previously. Evolution offers a HUGE selection of jewelry to pick from, with a very wide price range. You can tell Jennifer really cares about her clients. She does everything possible to ensure a great outcome, including providing aftercare products and instructions. I highly recommend!

This place is great for tattoos! Saw their art online, and called 3 hours before closing to get on their walk in list. Our artist, Andy, took the time to go over our design, mock it up, and printed out several different sizes to get it just right. His line work, shading, and detail were incredible. Attentive staff, clean enviroment, awesome tattoos, and a good price.

Jennifer is amazing, talented and so professional!!! I took my daughter to her years ago for her first piercings, and then returned so she could pierce both of our doubles. I am so happy that we found her because there is a lot more to piercing than I initially thought and she is just so highly skilled through both her professional training and natural talent. She makes the experience safe, fun and the results are the BEST!

I went in to get my cartilage pierced today by Jennifer and she was very helpful throughout the entire process. She was very attentive and spent a long time explaining the healing process and also helped me decide which earring to select for my ear. The place was very clean and the setup was very aesthetically pleasing. I felt basically no pain and I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to get a piercing!

I had an amazing experience with evolution body art. The owner sets the tone of the entire shop he’s very nice and treat every customer as if it’s his first client. The place is very clean. Kid friendly and his wife does piercings very safe and friendly.

My daughter asked to have her ears pierced for her 7th birthday. Evolution and another shop were highly recommended on Facebook and at first, I looked into the other shop. However after reading that the piercer can be rude and people did not care for him, I decided that was not a chance I wanted to take for my daughters first time being pierced. I then looked into Evolution Body Arts and when I read the good reviews and Jennifers care with first timers, I decided to make the appointment.We could not be happier! She was kind, caring, detailed, and comforting. She made the experience fun by calling it a piercing party with a soda and snacks offered. My daughter loves the jewelry she picked out. Loves her new earrings, and I absolutely could not be happier with how the experience went! Thank you for the wonderful memories and we are looking forward to our follow up appointments! All across excellent service. Friendly from start, when calling to set up an appointment, to finish when meeting Jen for the piercing. Very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable with our selection (because really, we walked in not knowing how this works). We left with thorough instructions and confident we found a great place.

This is the best piercing experience I’ve ever had!! All of the staff is beyond nice and knowledgeable. My piercer throughly explained the piercing and provided aftercare. All of the jewelry to pick from is gorgeous and amazing quality. Thank you EBA

Jen was very warm and professional. I was immediately comfortable. I had originally intended to get my nose pierced because I thought it had closed up, but Jen was able to avoid re-piercing as she was able to find the original hole. I just had to pay for jewelry and Jen started me off with a slightly longer post to deal with some swelling, but will resize at a later date. The facility was very clean and I will certainly come back to get other piercings from here. They also have an excellent selection of jewelry.

A very clean well organized shop. I just had my second tattoo with Chavez and he cleaned up two others for me on previous visits. I really enjoy working with him. A great artist with a skillful hand. I gave him a lot of artistic license and was really pleased with the outcome. Fantastic place to go for your first or 100th tattoo.

I walked in half an hour before closing (like a real jerk!) and they were so kind and accomodating. I was pretty nervous about the pain getting my first cartilage piercing, but those concerns were allayed entirely by Jen. Thank you guys!

Jen is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! She got my nose piercings RIGHT! Not once, not twice, BUT THREE TIMES! My septum is sooo pretty from BVLA and my double diamond studs are the most shiny studs I’ve ever had! Also they’re so good at tattooing all the way down to their apprentice! Brought our daughter to get her ears pierced by Jennifer. We could not have brought her to a better place. My daughter was treated like royalty since she walked in. She was so at ease which is what we wanted. Jennifer and her staff were beyond amazing with us and explained every step before, during, and after the piercing. We were provided with after-care products and given handouts for reference. She even gave us her cell phone number in case of any issues arising with the piercing before her post down-size appointment. We ended up having my daughter knock one of the studs off during play and Jennifer met with us after hours to take care of the piercing which we were SUPER thankful for. The size-down appointment went just as great as the initial, my daughter loved going back. 10/10 recommend to any mom looking for a place to bring their little one for their ear piercings. They take cleanliness and sterilization very seriously, which again, was something we wanted and appreciated.

This is maybe my 3rd review I have ever written. I received a 2 and a half hour tattoo that seemed like a 45 minute session. I have used Chris Wagman three times, this was my second time at his amazing location in Lake Bluff. First off, its a self standing building , very organized, very clean and well managed.. The vibe is nice and positive once you enter the front door. The staff was professional, respectful, smiled and answered all my questions. Chris was kind enough to meet with me approx 2 weeks prior to my appointment to go over my design and add his two cents which I appreciated. Chris was very calm and patient when it came to my concerns etc.. I appreciated a phone call a day before my appointment to remind me of my date and time.. I was sitting in the chair at 3:03pm for my 3pm appointment. Again, Chris was very calm and did not rush me or his services.. His station was clean and organized. The tattoo hurt less than the two prior and between that and his conversation the whole process seemed to fly by. Although I definitely recommend Chris, it appeared he had a team of professional artists who are quite capable of creating a similar experience. The shop also offers piercings which I dont know a lot about but his partner Jennifer seems to know a lot and is targeting a higher end of jewelry which is a niche which is well needed.. The Evolution body art tattoo shop is one of the best tattoo shops out in Chicago! The customer service was amazing from hospitality to tattoo questions, you ask and they deliver! My artist was Andy, he was beyond exceeding expectations! He single handedly made people drop jaws by how amazing his detail work is! Bringing the tattoo world in Chicago to the next generation! The shading and his knowledge on tattoos are on par with top tier artists! He was super attentive, nice, and very friendly! Highly recommend this place to people looking for their first tattoo to their 30th tattoo!

I have been seeing Chris at Evolution for 25 years, when he began on Broadway in Chicago. Watching his art style expand to something even more awe inspiring these past decades has been a whole journey and a friendship. I could not recommend a cleaner, more professional, and friendly shop full of amazing artists like Chris.

This review is at least 2 years overdue and I must say that this was the best experience for my first tattoo! Chris was so friendly and an absolute artists to say the least with the amazing tattoo he gave me! Setting up the appointment was painless and got me my tattoo in no time! Words cannot express how amazing this tattoo is as it gets lots of attention from everyone! I now recommend this place, especially Chris, to everyone looking for the place to go! When the time comes for more tattoos this is the only place I trust. The price is so worth the artwork they can provide for you!

I called in asking if the piercer could replace a ball on my eyebrow piercing that fell off and jennifer delivered. jennifer is an APP certified piercer that has been in the field for 17 years, and her thorough expertise in piercing truly shows through her services. she let me know that my eyebrow piercings (not pierced by her) were not irritated, but rejecting! not only did she assist me with that, she also assisted me in refitting my nose studs as well - and now they fit just right! jennifer is also very funny and i had a wonderful time with her while in the shop. i’ll definitely be coming back :)

Everyone wants to walk away with a beautiful tattoo, whatever that means to the client, but I was also looking for a fun experience. A consultation prior to booking confirmed that Chris was the right artist for my first tattoo and I am thrilled with it! When asked by friends “how did it go”…my response without hesitation is “it was a blast”and I love my tattoo. You’ll read all the other spot on reviews to confirm Chris’s stellar work, so I just wanted to also plug that the entire experience can be a lot of fun. And I also give two thumbs up for the piercing as my daughter had her ears double pierced here! Thanks so much to Chris, Jennifer and your wonderfully kind team.

I went for a first time to this place , the Lady was nice the first time , coworkers was nothing friendly at all . But the point is I pay $280 for ear piercing and an earring , it was my fault don’t ask how it looks I just like it and that it . When I return to downside my earring she say I don’t need it because my ear look like filet mignon which is fine lol , but she hurt me really bad just to take em out she pulled my ear so bad really bad even with tweezers , I tod her I want to change my earring and she says after a year I can do it . I just want to take my earring out simple thing . For my surprise it was super tight and hard to put it back on . Is not the typical hook she says if I want a normal hook I have to send it to the company and take months . I came here because the good reviews . I have anxiety and I am nervous to the pain . To be honest it hurts me more the second time when she forced to take my earring out . It’s very frustrating that happened. That was my experience 😭

For anyone considering who to take their child to for ear piercing, look not further than Jennifer at Evolution Body Arts. There is an impressive selection of earrings to choose from which makes the experience fun right from the start. When it was time for the piercings, Jen made my daughter feel at ease and took extra time with her after she was done to tend to her ears that swelled more than we expected. Jen was professional, extremely knowledgeable, and handled the whole experience with so much care. We cannot recommend her enough!

Brought our daughter in for ear piercing. Jennier exceeded our expectations in every way! She is professional and goes above and beyond. She is very knowledgeable, is patient with question, takes her time with placement, is very precise and VERY sanitary! Great set up, private comfortable room, great selection of jewlery. Staff was great too and the whole shop was immaculate. We had an awesome experience and highly recommend!

Jennifer was amazing! She pierced my young daughters septum! She talked my daughter through everything and took the extra steps of keeping her calm ! She was very busy that day and didnt have to take the time to talk her out of being scared at first, but she made her comfortable and calm! She is very good at her job and the piercing part was not even a second, my daughter didnt even flinch or anything! She wanted a septum piercing for so long and almost chickened out but Jennifer had all the right words and did everything so perfect and my daughter said it wasnt even painful! Chavez did an absolute amazing job! I have tattoos from all over the world and I have to say that I am quite shocked at how talented these artists at evolution are! The art work is amazing and if you’re in Waukegan area or Chicago, hands down I’d 100% recommend Evolution for your next tattoo. 10/10 Recommend for sure! Love coming here! I have been going to Jen (piercer) and Chris (tattoo artist) for years! They are both awesome. I don’t trust anyone else with my body but them, or anyone else in their shop. They hire very quality artists to produce excellent work. Very professional and knowledgeable on their services! Jennifer did a terrific job with my daughter’s first ear piercing! She was so patient and took her time explaining everything to us. My daughter was really scared and the whole staff were amazing, reassuring her and offering her snacks and drinks etc. she was shocked how little it hurt and her ears have NOT been red, swollen, red or infected during the whole healing process. Despite the hefty price tag I highly recommend Jennifer at Evolution body arts!

Jennifer is incredibly skilled at piercing. Our daughter was very excited to have her ears pierced, but she was also nervous. Jennifer made the entire experience a positive and fun one, and she eased our daughters fears. Our daughters piercings are perfectly placed and look spectacular. I have already recommended Jennifer and Evolution Body Arts to several friends, but I wanted to write this review so others would know too. I wouldnt go anywhere else for piercings!

Had an excellent experience with the people at Evolution Body Arts. Yesterday, Jennifer handled the job of piercing our 5 year olds ears. From start to finish, she was amazing, answering any questions we had. During the procedure, she kept our daughter calm and made the procedure incredibly easy. Today I got my first tattoo and Chris was great throughout the entire process. He helped me throughout the design process and several tweaks until I had exactly what I wanted. For both appointments, the shop was incredibly clean and comfortable and the staff pleasant to work with. Will be highly recommending them to others.

I came for my tragus piercing and had an incredible experience! Staff is professional, knowledgeable, friendly and kind. There were TONS of jewelry options to choose from! Jennifer sterilizes everything right in front of you and is a very experienced professional. I will be returning for all my future piercings and if I ever want tattoos too! I highly recommend to everyone.Update: I have returned for two additional piercings, daith and conch! Jennifer also swapped out my forward helix and tragus for beautiful gold bvla hoops. My first time at Evolution Body Arts. An adorable tattoo and piercing shop nestled along Waukegan Road in Lake Bluff. Super clean, decorated nicely, and a wide assortment of beautiful body jewelry. The staff and artists were very friendly making the process seamless. I worked with Jennifer to swap out a previously done flat piercing by Velvet Elvis in Portland, OR. I really honestly lucked out seeing Aaron for my first tattoo so many years ago, and at this point Ive come to Aaron for three tattoos now and I truly dont want to see anyone else. Aarons attention to detail is phenomenal, both in the designs he produces and the placement of the tattoo. You really get the sense that he cares about you as a person and your satisfaction with your tattoo. Hes a true professional and isnt satisfied until you are. The tattoos Ive gotten with him have stayed clean and strong throughout the years Ive seen him, and if they ever get a little faded all Ive ever had to do is a little exfoliating routine to make them brand new. Aaron has never disappointed. Hes kind, personable, and extremely talented. He has strong, clean lines that stay consistent, and hes a master at shading. Im so happy I got my first tattoo with him and Im so happy to be three tattoos in with him. when I brought my girlfriend to him, we didnt have much in the way of the design planned. All we asked for was a simple silhouette of her and her brother. Our expectations were low because we didnt know what to expect of our vague request. He comes back out 20 minutes later, and he blows us away. He created a beautiful silhouette better than I could have ever imagined. I am so lucky to have met Aaron, and I hope to see you again soon, my friend!

Jen is by far the queen of piercings. Her and her husband run an immaculate shop. Her and her staff are very knowledgeable and will not just take your money but do whats best for you as a client. She always goes above and beyond to give customers the best treatment. You can call her anytime with any questions or concerns and shes more than happy to assist or help you in any way. I would never go to another shop.

I love this place so much. The environment is great, the staff is amazing, and the service is outstanding. They all make you feel comfortable and all so friendly. They offer you drinks as you wait. I got my septum piercing here and Jen did it so quick and as little pain as possible. Chris tattoos like a true BOSS. He makes you feel so comfortable and periodically asks how you’re doing during the tattoo session and if you want a break. Definitely recommend this great business.

First off, Evolution is one of the cleanest shops I have EVER been in. Everything is kept clean and immaculate. The entire staff was very friendly and made sure I understood all processes and procedures.The owner, Chris did my tattoo. It was a memorial piece for my mom. I came in for the initial consultation with only a vague idea of what elements I wanted it to have. I just knew I wanted a frog, with a small frog, 3 hearts and my moms name under it. We looked at some pictures and left it at that. A few days later I did email Chris asking if my moms name could be her signature, and I sent a photo of her first name.I came in today to get it done, still not too sure what it was actually going to look like. Chris BLEW my mind. He explained his design, telling me he tried a few things and he thought this one looked the best. I couldnt agree more. He put the print on me and while he was getting me water, I had forgotten about the hearts I wanted. No hesitation he drew some up right there, showed me how it would fit in the original piece, and he printed it out and added it.Throughout the tattooing Chris was such a fun person to talk to. He was very open, and genuinely seemed interested in the conversation WHILE lining, shading and coloring a tattoo. He was very professional but personable at the same time.I didnt cry in the shop, but when I saw the finished piece, I was so overwhelmed with how something so important to me came together beyond what I could have thought up.Chris 1000% has a fantastic artistic talent, knowledge and skill. I cant recommend him enough. I will ABOSLUTELY be coming back for my next piece.Chris, you rock.

Jennifer was nothing short of amazing. I had gotten my upper-midi cartilage pierced here in May 2021, but was forced to take it out over a year later for an MRI. I took it out per doctors instructions, but wasnt able to get it back in without irritation. A year later when I came back to the shop, not only did Jennifer not charge me for the re-piercing, but she did pierced it so swiftly that my ear did not bleed, despite being closed for over a year. I am so grateful for her kindness and truly amazed by her professional skill. I commend this shop for their outstanding customer service.

I have so much love for Evolution, it is truly the best place around! I can’t believe we get to have this amazing of a piercing and tattoo shop in little Lake Bluff. I can no longer go to any other shop because there’s no place I trust as much as Evolution. I recommend this place to everyone I know, and regularly drive 2 hours back from college to go here. It is so worth the travel, and everyone I have recommended it to has had an amazing experience! My friends and I have been going to Evolution since it first opened and watching it grow has been great. I have never felt so comfortable and taken care of with a piercer as I do with Jennifer. She has worked on some tricky piercings with me over the last few years, and has done an incredible job. She truly cares for your well-being and the outcome of the piercing, and is there for you throughout the whole healing process. I can have some anxiety with piercing healing, but Jennifer has walked me through it all making sure I healed well and was happy with the outcome. All the other staff are also so kind and welcoming, and my friends who has gotten tattooed at Evolution have had great experiences. Not to mention the studio is stunning and has such a cool, clean vibe; and the jewelry that they provide is gorgeous and the best quality. If you’re looking for a professional, friendly place to get your next tattoo or piercing with people who truly care about what they do, I can’t recommend Evolution enough!!!♥️

I got my past 2 piercings at Evolution and will continue to get pierced here and only here!! Ive had bad luck with piercings not healing properly in the past but with Jennifer, getting pierced is a breeze. The shop is extremely clean, staff is great, and the jewelry selection is top tier quality.

I came here to my noses pierced and it was an amazing experience! My piercer was Jennifer and she was amazing, she was so kind and explained everything extremely well. It was an amazing place, overall very professional and clean! The owners are very nice and friendly so I would definitely recommend going to Evolution Body Arts for a tattoo or a piercing. The artist that tattooed me was Gonzalo Chavez and he did an amazing job with this tattoo!

I’m not sure what the deal is with the negative reviews but I’ve been here 3 times and have always left with a smile on my face. Once to get my nose pierced and the other two times to get tattoos. The atmosphere was pretty chill and Chris and Jennifer both made me feel at home. Can’t wait to go back next Friday for my third tattoo 🤙🏾

Just had a tattoo done by Aaron. He was great with bringing my vision to life and very easy to work with getting the design just perfect.

I had my daughter’s ears pierced here. The salon is very clean and well setup. They have a specific time, Sunday afternoon, when you can come and bring a child for ear piercing. Jennifer was amazing, very patient, and she walked the kid through about the process in the best of ways. They have a great aftercare plan as well and educate the caregiver on what needs to be done and what to look for in the healing process. I highly recommend this place!

Jen did an amazing job with my daughter’s first lobe piercing. She set my daughter at ease with great conversation and breathing techniques (and a snack). The entire staff was so nice - Alex and Jen especially. We are thrilled with how the piercings look and the quality of the piercings and the jewelry.

Evolution body art has done four different piercings for me now. Not only is the staff wonderful but the jewelry and service is too. Jennifer made my piercings as painless as possible, quick, and easy. I have had an amazing experience each time I went and would recommend it to anyone looking for a piercing or tattoo. These piercings have made me feel so much more confident and comfortable in my own skin.

Great place! I got a simple black tattoo here and my septum pierced. The location is very welcoming -- its big, bright, open, and clean. The staff was all very nice and helpful during both appointments. They explained their processes, their cleanliness procedures, and my recovery all very well. I was given contact information for questions during aftercare. Ill definitely go back if I decide to get other tattoos or piercings!

I went in for a 2nd ear piercing and had a great experience. I had a scheduled appointment and got right in. The place is clean, has a great jewelry selection, and a friendly team. Jennifer is very knowledgable and did a great job with the piercing. She walks you through everything to expect and how to properly take care of your piercings, with a follow up visit included. Highly recommend.

If you’re currently looking around for someone to do piercing work your search is over this is the only shop in the state you should be going to. Not only does the entire shop feel like home the second you walk in, Jennifer is the best piercer in the state she is thorough and honest from the very start. I had gotten my septum done at another shop against my better judgement and it quickly turned into a concern for me, not only was it in the wrong spot but it was too small and made out of plastic!!! Something so simple had turned into a nightmare..within 10 minutes Jennifer had me all sorted out with the proper piercing and education that I should have had from the start…I cannot stress enough how amazing this shop is. If you are a navy sailor in the area no shop around will give you the service, quality, and price point that you get at evolution. i have brought and referred many people here and they treat everyone so well. multiple times they have squeezed me in or been flexible with an appointment. all the work have gotten is very detailed, heals well and the environment is social, clean, and relaxed. highly recommend!

I got my first piercing here with Jennifer and I had such an amazing experience. I felt safe in regard to the shops COVID protocols and all of their equipment in general. The shop itself is awesome and they had a great selection of jewelry with a variety of prices. Amazing experience!! Had a memorial piece done by Chavez. Very professional, clean, and the piece came out better than I could’ve ever imagine it. Honestly not too happy with this place- I came in 4 months ago with my friend and have waited for my conch to heal this whole time- instead of getting better over time it just has gotten worse . I used saline on it multiple times a day and took extra careful care of it- I have had many ear piercings including inner ear ones and I’ve never gotten an infection and had this hard of a time to heal. I also spent almost 200 dollars on this which is more than I’ve ever paid FAR- . On a positive note , Jennifer did a great job reopening my Tragus and repiercing that - but I wouldn’t trust her to do an initial piercing again. Especially not at this expensive price range

Everyone is so pleasant and the piercer Jennifer was very good with my daughter She was very patient and thoroughly explained the process and the after care. My daughter got a piercing about a month ago and got her first tattoo today, and I got a cover up. Jennifer and both the tattoo artists were amazing and super talented. Place is very clean (like spotless). Definitely would recommended and come here again!!!

Jennifer was so helpful and kind! Evolution Body Arts was very inviting and everyone was super nice. I needed to get my cartilage piercing removed because it was twisted on too tightly, and Jennifer took it out for me and talked to me about my piercing and what I can do to make it heal. I got my piercing done at a different place and they did it crooked, but Jennifer gave me advice on what I can do if I wanted to keep the piercing in. She gave me pamphlets on how to take care of my ear and what to look for and told me to reach out with any other questions I had in the future. Will be coming back again!

Chris is seriously a miracle worker! I went in feeling crappy about a tattoo screwup I made and left feeling amazing with the coverup he did. It looks outstanding, no one would never know it was a coverup. Amazing artist and overall amazing place!! Highly recommend.

Hello all , so I came here with my daughter. I got my ears pierced which cost about $60 for both ears, I choice some jewelry that was $60 per ear. My daughter got her septum pierced which was about $100 and her jewelry, so in all I spent $500 for my ears and my daughter septum piercings plus a fat tip. The staff was very very professional and very clean atmosphere. Everything about the process is explained and you leave with instructions and cleaning products for your after care.

The lady who pierced me and my mom’s ears was so amazing! Made the entire experience so much fun and did a great job. You could tell she really knew what she was doing and I fully trusted her in throughout the entire process. 10/10 experience and we both plan on coming back many times in the future!

Both myself and my daughter have had the pleasure to meet with Jennifer for some ear piercings. Jennifer did a great job and has provided fantastic aftercare. We’ve had some issues with jewelry (kids 🙄) but she has been amazing! Highly recommend and will definitely be back for more!

I honestly think this is the first review Ive ever written, so let that speak to how much I love Evolution Body Arts. The shop is impeccably clean, vibes are great, and everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I had my third lobes and forward helix pierced by Jennifer, and I couldnt have asked for a better piercing experience. Jen was incredibly patient with my many questions and explained each step of the process in detail. A few weeks after the piercing I bumped it and it developed a small blister (something that was unavoidable, and had nothing to do with the way it was pierced) and Jen was so helpful and reassuring. I went back into the shop to have her look at it and it is now back to normal and looking great! In my experience, the thing that really sets EBA apart from other places Ive been for piercings is the care they have for clients. Its been over a month since I went in for my piercings and Jen is still great with responding quickly to any questions or concerns I have. If you come here for a piercing, I can pretty much guarantee you will be a customer for life. I also have had friends who have gotten tattooed by Sara and Chris and they were super happy. Everyone is so friendly and I could not recommend this place more!

Jennifer did a great job with my 18 year olds piercing. What makes me mad is that no one told us that anyone who enters must have a physical ID. My 21 year old daughter who went with was not allowed to even be in the building because she didnt bring her physical ID. She had a photo one her phone but that was not good enough. So much for a bonding experience for my daughters and the support. Would have been fine if there was anything on their web page or informing us when we called.

When looking for a place to take my 4 year old to get her ears pierced Evolution/Jennifer was highly recommended and now I see why. When we arrived at evolution we were welcomed right away. I didn’t catch her name but she was so good with my shy daughter. She made us both feel so comfortable about the process while we waited for her appointment. Then when it was time Jennifer examined my daughters ears and expressed that unfortunately her lobes were just too tiny. She gave her professional opinion about waiting until she is a few years older to allow her lobes to grow. She went into detail about her concerns of piercing them now. As disappointed as we were to not be able to get them done I am so grateful for her to not just pierce them knowing it wasn’t the best time and the outcome wouldn’t be what we ultimately wanted. This is why you go to a professional! Other places (Claire’s, Target ..etc would have just done it) Jennifer sent her home with a smile by giving her candy and some stickers. I will 100% be bringing her back in 4 years to get her ears pierced by Jennifer and willHighly recommend anyone looking for a piercing to go see her.

This is my second time at Evolution Body Arts and they do not disappoint. The location was super clean and had a welcoming environment. Alex the receptionist made me feel at home and made sure I was comfortable during my visit. Chavez took my ideas and made them come to life. He was very professional and made sure I took the breaks I needed for my 5 hour session. I will definetly be coming back for any other tattoos I get.

Jennifer did my daughters 2nd lobe piercings & 6 months later we went back for her 3rd lobe piercings. Both experiences were great! The place is immaculate & followed all safety protocols. Jennifer Pinner was the piercer that I had consulted with about my old piercing and my plans on re-piercing it. She took me back with her knowledge and pure, honest consult. Jennifer explained the risks of re-piercing it. But as i explained that I had a feeling it was still open she asked if she can find where the channel or the pre-existing hole i had before. She def found the channel and inserted the gorilla glass nose-ring. It feels like nothing is there and it looks very pleasing. Her service, knowledge about her line of work is immeasurable and her station was super clean. I had a great experience and felt heard. Definitely recommend and rate her above 5 stars!

I had a family friend pierce my first lobes, and unfortunately they did not turn out great. I came to evolution body arts hoping to fix them and Jen did just that! Jen is extremely good at what she does and genuinely cares about your healing. She explained everything to me step by step before and during the process. She also had answers to all my questions about the healing process. If you are considering getting your piercing professionally done, I definitely recommend EBA.I also wanted to mention that I felt very safe there despite covid. The facility was extremely clean, and Jen used new and sanitized instruments for every piercing. So far I have had no trouble taking care of my piercing. They have been infection free and healing great.

We had a wonderful experience here. My daughter wanted to get her ears pierced, they were so patient and explained everything. My daughter actually decided she wasnt ready, and they were so understanding and supported her. I thought they might be irritated, but instead they were so kind. Racist shop and owner!!! Make their money by overcharging young military members. DO NOT GO THERE! Especially if youre black!No one argued! No one screamed! But the perception was because of who we were it would be a problem. The owner is super aggressive! Like she wanted to fight. Even as we smiled she called someone over as if we were threatening (I wonder why). The person at the front was hiding because she knew no one was threatening. The only thing that was said was she already has a tattoo. The reply back was Ill get someone else to help. The reply from the SUPER AGGRESSIVE OWNER, She said you wouldnt listen to her. Huh? Simple reply was she already has one. This isnt the first time either. Disgraceful. Disrespectful. This shop WILL be highlighted on the bases around the areas. Do not go to this shop!!BTW our 17 year old daughter was not coming to get a tattoo, but to get an estimate as were getting one for her birthday. That was said numerous times too.Please forward everything. Im not hard to find. Id love to talk to them. Would greatly appreciate thatAnd again. She came to this establishment just to get an estimate for an idea she has for her birthday and we were treated rudely in our opinion.

The building is super clean and inviting. The interior design is fun and creative with neon signs and amazing wall art. It felt like a special club that’s not pretentious. The staff were amazing and friendly and the woman who pierced my ears was so kind and was quick and professional with my piercing which was awesome since this was my first time getting piercings. Their selection of earring were top of the line. I got Swarovski crystal earrings and they’re beautiful and they don’t have nickel metals in the studs which would have irritated my skin. They were clear and informative about the after care instructions and I left feeling absolutely wonderful.

Me and my friend got nose piercings from Jennifer—she was so fun, took the piercing seriously and made us all feel comfortable. She made sure that we felt safe, especially during covid and making sure to clean the piercing space. I have been going to Chris, the shop owner, for tattoos for the last several years despite my living out of state— the work that he does is incredible and I have and will continue to travel to see him. The experiences Ive had at Evolution have been nothing but positive– from the cleanliness, to the professional attitudes of everyone there, and even the chic decor, its a real challenge (dare I say impossible) to find anything uninviting about the place. Every time I visit Evolution to get a new piece of art done by Chris, I KNOW that I am in for a treat. He is truly an artist that I trust to do both vibrant and immaculate work that heals up beautifully every time (thanks to his attention to detail and thorough explanations of proper aftercare). I highly recommend this shop! The shop is clean, well-maintained, well run, high quality, fairly priced, with appropriate infection control procedures to insure the safety of their clients. Chris is one of my favorite artists. Most recently I got the word “Blessed” on my throat from Chris and a swallow on my leg from Jerry. Both have great line work especially considering the throat is such a difficult area to tattoo. The swallow has great color and depth. I highly recommend this shop and won’t trust my ink to anyone else.

I went here knowing I wanted a piercing, but not knowing what kind I wanted. My artist, Jennifer, told me what kind of services would look best for my ear and told me how many would be a good number to get. She also pointed out some issues with my current earrings that I didn’t even know existed! In the end we decided to go with a conch piercing and while the jewelry might be considered pricy, it was absolutely worth it and looks amazing. I had the greatest experience here and felt so taken care of. Jennifer clearly knows what she’s doing and is very passionate about it! I would absolutely recommend going here whether it’s your first time getting pierced or you’re a veteran. Thank you!!

As I last minute looked for a place to get a small tattoo I was pleasantly surprised. With a quick google search, I emailed Monday afternoon, received an email almost immediately that I could be fit in the next morning. I was obviously thrilled, that my first choice and a 5 star review tattoo shop could get me in! I drove from Michigan to visit in Schaumburg and then drove out to Lake Bluff and it was so worth it. The shop was spotless, the music was such good vibes and relaxing for 11am. I was able to chat with Chris the entire time and have good conversation and enjoyed my time. I got my nose pierced a while ago but I can’t stop thinking about getting another piercing. Jennifer was so nice and welcoming. Awesome experience getting my first tattoo.

My Husband and I both received tattoos from Chris. He was HIGHLY reccomended to us. We drove nearly 1.5Hrs to have him do our tattoos. This was my 2and tat and my husbands 3rd. Both of us had previously negative experiences with getting a tattoo. But Chris completely made our day! His work was phenomenal, he listened to us, paid attention to detail, was sensitive to my anxiety about getting another bad tattoo after waiting 10 years to find another artist to trust with tattooing my body. We 100% will be back and speak highly of Chriss team, and his personal knowledge, skills and kindness.

Tiffany did a great job! She made me feel comfortable, was gentle, and the entire process from start to finish was a great experience. She made sure she was sterile about everything and explained the entire process before and after for wound care. I loved how she had a wide range of beautiful nose rings and other jewelry to choose from. The inside looks amazing as well! I would definitely be coming back again.

After seeing two different piercers and being pierced three times I had given up hope on having a Septum piercing. UNTIL I reached out to Jennifer. I was able to come in the same day I reached out to her. She was super friendly and very informative when it came to the whole process , what she was seeing/doing and after care. She was able to give me a straight one time stab unlike the other place I had been to. She also told me I can reach out to her with any questions whenever, which I love! Im so beyond happy and will always recommend her for others! I definitely will be back to see her 😁

They are a husband and wife, the sweetest people. Normally tattoo artists can be really intimidating but they were not. They make you feel so welcome, I highly recommend this place to anyone who is especially getting your first tattoo it can be nerve racking but they will definitely make you feel right at home. The work he does is also very good on top of that. He’s been doing this for over 20 years so he knows what he’s doing for sure. All in all I loved my experience very much and I highly recommend this place!!

Jennifer has done everything from a Tragus, Daith, double conch and many many more. These two humans are the most warming and comforting people I have ever met. The service they provide is flawless. Their dedication to their craft is apparent as soon as you walk into their studio. Evolution Body Arts has become a second home and a safe space. Evolution Body Arts removed my piercing in .2 seconds and I legitimately cried tears of joy. The staff was incredibly friendly and I am 1000000% going there for my next piercing. Went to the shop after emailing pictures and them saying they had time for me. What could have been explained over the phone turned into a waste of gas and time. Poor communication from taking off shoes at the front to waiting for a tattoo to appointment setting. Could have been handled better and explained properly, would prefer honesty over a waste of time.

This place has extremely unprofessional piercing practices and potentially harmful aftercare instructions. They are also beyond overpriced. You are better off by going to any other tattoo and piercing shop in the area.

Trying to spread awareness on this terrible tattoo shop. Owner yells at you if you do one minor thing wrong...like having your keys on a booth or having a leg crossed under the other. You would think as a paying customer they would not treat you like children. This is how an owner responds to customers? Pathetic. Notice how I never said they werent clean, or bad artists. Im being honest. Apparently the owner feels a little insecure when she has to swear at a customer! They better make sure business doesnt slow down as Im posting to my local followers not to come here. It will be posted on my facebook as well for all my friends to see. As a previous business owner, I never treated nor talked to a customer this way which is why Im prepared to do what I can to show people and make it aware that this is not the place to go. Try Private Ink or Maximum Tattoo where they allow you to sit how youd like and if gosh forbid your keys are on the booth, you wont be yelled at. When I pay for something I want to be treated right! Private Ink or Maximum Tattoo is wayyy better! Check them out!
