Tina is awesome. She was very thorough in explaining procedures and aftercare, in addition to being just so personable. Procedures done were quick and about as painless as can be (of course the you feel the needle, but Tina made us comfortable and made sure we were in a good place mentally for it.) The shop is beautiful and clean, the rest of the staff was very polite professional and helpful. Ill certainly be going back to see Tina & staff.

Etched Ink Tattoo is a great place, best shop in Jersey. Al is the man and my go to artist. He is a great tattoo artist, an absolute genius with his craft and most importantly an honorable man. Every time I’m there Al makes me feel welcome and comfortable as well as the rest of the crew. Im blessed to have found Al and the Etched Ink Tattoo shop. I can not imagine going anywhere else due to the trust and cleanliness of the shop. Al is not just my tattoo artist but he has become my friend. But, that’s what this shop shows you. You’re not just any customer, you matter to them when you walk through those doors. I highly recommend going to this shop due to the great people, great experiences and great artists. They will never steer you in the wrong direction and give you their best every time.

Lauren is fantastic and I can’t say enough how happy I am with her work. All the staff in the shop is great and I’m happy to recommend them to anyone who is looking for a good, clean and professional shop. I already have an appointment to have an older tattoo fixed up because I prefer Lauren over anyone else. When I was talking with a friend at work it turns out they also go here and their artist is Tina. Clearly Etched in Ink is the top choice!

My wife and I just got pieces from Lauren and she is amazing! She truly makes the session feel like catching up with an old friend. I had gotten one from her in April and loved her and her work so much that we made the 3hr drive to get more from her. The whole vibe of the place and staff is relaxing and friendly. Definitely worth the drive and I will absolutely be back (sooner rather than later)!

Got a nose piercing here and I love it! Staff here is so nice and friendly. I had Al perform the piercing and he explained the whole process as it happened. It made me feel so comfortable. The secretary was a really sweet as well. They also provided aftercare for the piercing. I would definitely go again and recommend them!!

I called today for a last minute tattoo appointment and I could not be more pleased! The entire experience was so comforting, and my artist, Lauren, was wonderful. This is my second tattoo from Etched in Ink, and my third time there. Lauren was so great to work with and I am so impressed by the finished product. Facility is very clean. I brought my daughter in for a nose piercing, felt comfortable and confident through the whole experience. We were informed and given written instructions on after care. The piercer was awesome, professional and proficient. Piercing was placed perfectly. Front desk staff are great people.

I was looking for a fine line artist and a few people recommended this studio. I wanted my daughter’s handwriting with our favorite Taylor Swift lyrics. Mike was the artist and it came out perfect. Studio is very clean and I will definitely be back for more!

I began sitting with AL two months ago. I have plenty of tattoos which i have obtained both here in NJ as well as from across the country. Every time I sit for a session with AL, I am absolutely blown away when I leave the shop. There are many other artists at Etched In Ink studios. There is an artist for every type of tattoo at this shop. Whether you are looking for a full body suit or something small they do it all!!!!! Everyone at Etched is super friendly and everytime I visit I am greeted like family. I have never been pierced at this shop but the staff has walked me through their process multiple times.

Can’t say enough about the homie Al! I’ve known Al for many years, but I only recently started collecting pieces from him over the past year. It’s been so satisfying working on covering my leg with him. Every session has been an individual tattoo, not a complete leg sleeve type design, and it’s been a ton of fun just getting these individual bangers. Al hustles, from the moment you get there to when you walk out wrapped up ready to go just seems to happen in a blink. He tattoos quickly and deliberately, which is nice in those more painful areas.The shop itself is a great experience as well. Everyone there is friendly and the overall shop has a real good family vibe to it. Everything is very well organized and clean.Definitely a great shop to work with!

We took our 15yo daughter to get her ears pierced. We did not want a Clares place to do it - we wanted something more professional. This place is just that. Very clean and modern. Went here to get my seconds re-pierced. Had it done by Mike Padula who was really nice and patient. He gave a variety of piercings, info on what to do and not to do and also was very personable. I would come here again. (This appointment was also last minute)

Went there to get my septum pierced by Mike and the piercing was done completely wrong with too large of jewelry, i called back and voiced my concerns and was told that i could not change the jewelry and i tried to contact Mike and i was never replied to, ended up taking out the piercing. very disappointing

Took my daughter to Etched In Ink for a conch ear piercing. We had an EXCELLENT experience. Made an appointment with Tina. She took the time and really explained everything from piercing and jewelery selection to how to properly clean, heal and maintain the piercing. She thoroughly and patiently answered all of our questions. She gave us and went over clearly written instructions and gave us her contact info if we had questions or concerns. Everything was very clean and sanitary. My daughters piercing has healed very nicely. We will definitely go back for future piercings and tattoos. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about our piercing experience here! Al was so patient with my anxiety riddled daughter. She wanted her ears pierced so badly but was so scared he had to keep backing up to let her breathe because she would jerk her head away. However, once he did one side she was easily able to do the other side because it barely hurt at all. They use a disposable piercing system which is the easiest, quickest, most pain free system Ive ever seen. Both my kids said getting vaccines hurt more than that. For a kids piercing I truly think this place cant be beat.

I originally had a Monroe piercing and found out they were starting permanent makeup and I was sucked in. There was a billing issue and the owner and I worked EVERYTHING out with ease and trust that is hard to find. I will not trust anyone else to decorate my body the way I desire. If you’re looking for great personality, gorgeous work/artistry and trust: look no further — the place is clean, uncluttered, and quite quiet. The permanent makeup I won’t lie is painful, but so worth it. The eyebrows isn’t to bad and I really learned quite a bit as well. When my hair turned dark brown after a hysterectomy my eyebrows stayed blonde and hardly could tell I had any. I am so glad I did it and I have eyebrows now. I believe some of the work she did is available to view when you go for your consultation — I am not a photogenic person so, I will not load any photos. Thanked you Etched in Ink — you have a forever client.

Brianna Barton micro bladed my eyebrows and did such an amazing job! She is so passionate about what she does, and it shows threw her work! I would 10 outta 10 recommend! This shop was not only super clean and professional, but I needed to get in immediately to have my piercings removed and retainers placed for a time sensitive CT scan appointment. If they wouldn’t have fit me in last minute- my entire surgery (plans, preparations, time off work, childcare setup) and life would have been completely pushed back and a complete disaster. TINA thank you so much. You’re amazing and if I’m back in the area- I’ll pop in for a piercing! (Scheduled ahead of time hopefully 😂)

So no joke, spoke to Dani about a really off the wall design. Not only did she nail the design she totally killed the tattoo itself. Fast and kickass, she did a hell of a job. I just got my ears pierced there and may I just say that was great! The receptionist was super nice as was the piercer himself! They used super high quality laser etched needles that were so sharp I barely felt a thing! They also only used one needle for each piercing! 1000/10 Would go again!

Came in a few months ago and got a great tattoo however what type of reputable shop allows a women with her small child (maybe 6 or 7) come in and get a tattoo with said child!! A tattoo shop is no place for children. Little boy seemed like this was not his first time here either and was so loud and obnoxious.

I got my ear tattooed by Al , it was a fantastic experience! He did it so beautifully and I constantly get compliments on it! Everyone from the receptionist to the artist were so incredibly nice ,they made you feel so welcome!

Super clean and very honest!I went in thinking I had to get my belly ring repierced after pregnancy and to my surprise he was nice enough to check to see if he could get the ring through without piercing it again and charging me for no reason. Worked out in my favor because it went through and I didn’t get charged 🎉Thanks so much for being honest and not taking my money when it wasn’t necessary
