I want to thank Richard for the great work he did today. I consider myself so blessed to have him help me create beautiful tattoos that mean so much to me. Richard was generous with his time and his ideas. He exceeded my expectations. This shop if professionally run ,clean and inviting.I had such a great experience today. Hawk absolutely crushed my tattoo. Super cool guy and very very talented. Was able to get an easy walk in appointment and all services were great. My Wife got both her tragus pierced and the service was professional and as painless as couldve been hooked for. Great shop, got some great and talented people working there.

Highly recommend Alchemy Tattoos and Body Piercings! We stopped in last minute to re-pierce my ear after the hole had closed and the owner was fantastic. Was able to taper it through so I could wear my new earrings from my husband right away. The place is super clean, friendly people and quick/painless experience. Thanks again!

Victor was so great! I was nervous about getting my belly button pierced but he walked me through everything and made me feel so calm. This was my second time here and both times I have had an amazing experience and everyone is so friendly!!

Richard!!! What a fun guy to sit and chat with while he did my first tattoo in years. Ive always admired the work done at this shop, as I have been Facebook stalking it foryears, saying I was going to come in one day. Well I had a #treatyourself day a few weeks back and he squeezed me in for some piercings, while he drew my tattoo for the following day. The shop is clean, and so welcoming, I love his straightforward service. I cant wait to come back and get some work done, and maybe a few more piercings.

Just recently got my bellybutton and ears pierced here by Victor. As someone who has bad anxiety, he watched me through the process step-by-step before, during and after. Definitely will be going back!

Best piercing experience I’ve ever had! Victor was so amazing and walked me through with so much care and thoughtfulness, it was refreshing to have someone who cares so much pierce me. We loved this place. Victor Garcia was a true professional and put us at ease from the very beginning. This was mine and my sisters’ first tattoos, we couldn’t ask for anyone better. Victor is a true artist, there is other artwork there by him that shows his true talent. Our’s was pretty basic I think. If I didn’t live a thousand miles from him that’s where I would go to get the others I would like.

Myself and two friends got pierced here and had a great experience. I waited three weeks to leave a review to see how it healed (although I know that’s more my body and not reflective of their work but still.)My piercing is healing with zero problems. Rich is so nice and friendly and makes you feel at ease. I haven’t been pierced in like 20 years and he made the experience a breeze. He’s so knowledgeable and answered all our questions and provided so much education. Definitely recommend!

Went to get a spontaneous septum piercing, found this tattoo shop on Google & seen it had 5 stars & good reviews so we checked it out. First off the artist came in on his day off to do my sister and my tattoo. He was completely amazing with my sister who had never had a tattoo and is terrified of needles. He really made our moment special.

Victor Garcia was awesome. I came in and got my first tattoo, I got a black and grey rose on my shoulder. I told Victor that I eventually wanted to add to it to make it a sleeve and he took that into consideration in creating the design. He took his time and made sure I was comfortable. Victor’s line work is awesome, he did the outline first, took and break and then did the shading. I came in with my sister and he spoke to the both of us. I appreciated the conversation, and he was 100% respectful. I will definitely come back for more work.The shop is very clean. Everything was taken out of a package, gloves were changed, very professional atmosphere.

Without a doubt one of the best piercing experiences Ive had! Had the absolute pleasure of being pierced by Victor for an orbital and two lobe piercings. He had accidentally scheduled me on New Years day when the shop was closed, but chose to keep my appointment and came in on his own instead of rescheduling. Victor Garcia is so incredibly talented and professional. I was almost embarrassed to request such a simple tattoo, but it symbolized something big for me and he didnt scoff once. He was able to capture the softness I was hoping for and didnt try to steer me into something bigger or more elaborate as other artists have done in the past. I love that they are a custom shop and that even though this tattoo is basic, it still felt unique enough. I was prepared for pain, especially at the lateral malleolus/ankle bone, but he was so gentle that it barely hurt. I also got a piercing and he was just as friendly and professional for that. Prices were decent and quality is on point.100% recommended and I will DEFINITELY be back to see him for my next work.

Victor garcia did an amazing job on my first tattoo! i got it done on my sternum and on my rib cage and he took great care to make sure that i was comfortable and feeling okay the entire time! the tattoo process was painless and if i needed a break or anything, he was always willing to stop and make sure i took the time i needed. not the mention the shop was incredibly clean and sanitary! it was truly a great experience and i can’t wait to get my tattoos (or piercings) done there or with him in the future!

Victor pierced my septum a couple months back and Rich did my second lobe piercings a little over a year ago,both did an amazing job and all of the piercings heal with absolutely no problems. The shop is always super clean and very customer friendly. 5 out of 5 stars I will definitely be back.

If you’re in the Largo area, I would 100% recommend coming here for your tattoo. I walked in and was told that my idea could come to life. I did my session with Victor and he walked and talked me through my idea and we ended up changing the placement and concept to look more realistic (versus a simple plain tattoo that wouldn’t work with the words I also wanted to have tattooed on me). He definitely cares about what you want for yourself and will 100% make sure that it is in the right spot..the right size..the right idea and design. The other artists in the shop were very friendly as well. Their sense of humor was comforting for those who might be anxious about getting a tattoo. The shop was very clean and organized. They were on top of their game with the COVID-19 protocols as well. I will be flying from Boston back to the shop in 2 weeks just to add on to my tattoo. (YES. Boston to FL! They are that amazing). Overall a great experience and definitely what you would want from feel safe and comfortable when getting your tattoo!

My 3 friends and i came in for walk in tattoos on the last day of our vacation. victor was absolutely amazing, not only the artistry but as a person. he made us all feel super comfortable, talked the whole time, made jokes with us, but down to the tattoos themselves they’re amazing. he 100% worked with all of us and told us what would look better, tweaked some things and topped our ideas as well as where we should place it. you can tell they don’t do this for the money but to really give you exactly what you want and i highly recommend this place to everyone!! we’re flying down here each time we want one because the work, vibe and environment were just phenomenal!

Me and a friend went in as a walk ins and both got two tattoos each! Price was great but the work was even better!! Tom did my behind the ear rose and it came out wayyyyyy better than I expected! He also did the candy heart on my arm and it came out amazing too! Victor did my friends tattoos we did matching candy hearts on the arm and they matched them very perfectly and they came out amazing she also got a Taurus zodiac sign!! Victor Garcia is literally the best! I pierced my naval for the 2nd time as I had to remove it awhile ago and it caused scar tissue! He was able to go behind the scar and I felt absolutely no pain! Then we started speaking of tattoos and how I’ve been wanting to get one and never actually did! He made me so comfortable, created the design and we decided to just go for it and get it done! My FIRST tattoo on my ribs!!! When I tell you I had NO PAIN! And the tattoo is so gorgeous and professionally executed! I cannot wait to be back and get the other 2 tattoos I’ve been wanting! Ive gotten a thigh piece done here, and after a year and a half you can still fully see my white and neon green highlights. Tom is a absolute amazing artist! Ive also gotten pierced by Rich, he re-did a horribly crooked navel piercing that would never stop bleeding and closed. Still learning he did a flawless pierce, no blood afterwards, intense pain or any of the sort. Will absolutely be getting pierced here again and looking forward to my next piece in January! Glad to say I found my shop!

Alchemy is OK. Average to me; still good, not bad.I left with mixed feelings on something that is permanent (when all was said & done).The line work is exceptional.BUT the shading, & improvisation is average.The collective coloring ended up a LOT darker than I requested, & with images/pictures that I provided.It is difficult to differentiate where an individual object starts & stops on a piece. - Some people may like that...Yes, art is subjective, but the finished product here was mediocre to the art that I personally have had. But, they may be a perfect fit for what you need if their style is your style.I have found there are a lot of other options in Pinellas & St Pete.Ive had 25 years of tattoos from several cities/states Ive lived in, the Navy, & studios in Thailand.

Victor was amazing! I am terrified of needles, he talked me through it all. He made sure I was comfortable with everything and was so kind! Extremely knowledgeable about every step and understanding about my nerves. Go to Alchemy for whatever you wanna get done!

The staff was friendly and helpful the Store was very clean Rich did my tattoo. I gave him an idea and showed him a few pictures of what I wanted and he came back with an original great piece of art. Exactly what I wanted Jay did my wifes tattoo she gave him an idea of what she wanted and back with Awesome piece we are both very happy with the work we got done we would go there all the time but we live in Texas.

Went in for a first time tattoo. Richard was very welcoming and made the experience calming. Was very reassuring that it was my decision in the end and that it would be permanent. He did a quick and amazing job. The tattoo came out super sharp and I have received many complements on it already.

Rich is the shop owner... HE IS THE BEST! He hand drew the logo of my fathers record label, and tatted it on my shoulder blade in about 2 hours. Not only that, but he didn’t charge extra to make it slightly bigger or add color... he TRULY wants his customers to be happy and have a good experience in his shop! Victor re-did a shoulder piece that I’ve had for a couple years that was lacking in detail. It was a gray wash and all the flowers blended into each other. He did a fantastic job and was very detail oriented. I live in VA and plan on coming back down for him to finish the rest of my piece. I highly recommend him!! The picture does not do it justice.

Best tattoo shop in the area. Tried them out first time a few months ago based on Google reviews and couldnt be happier. Both Rich and Tom do amazing work. Ive since gotten 11 tattoos in the last 3 months all from here.. everyone has come out great. Touch ups are free, and you always get a coupon for new visits over $100.

This was my second time goin to this shop I followed my artist Tom who I have been with for over 3 years now. He is incredible..! I ask for something and Tom will piece by piece turn it into his own work so it’s unique and no one else will have my exact tattoo. He can blow minds! You can definitely tell the passion of the tattoo artists that work here when you talk to them. How they love what they do and they actually care to learn more all the time which says a lot about them as people not only artist. The art on the wall is actually for sale from the artist in shop, so that’s a really cool bonus if your into that! I will def be continuing to go here and refer all my friends here! You can tell Rich loves what he does and he does it in the best professional way! Great shop and environment for hours and hours of ink! Can’t wait to come back!

In September I had my lip pierced by a guy named Rich here. He was really nice. He talked me through the process and was very kind and helped me relax and be comfortable about getting my lip pierced. Well, I loved this place so much I came back!!!Today, I went and got my left nostril peirced and had a man named Victor. He had amazing bedside manner and was extremely kind to me. He is very knowledgeable about his field and gave me educational and informative awnsers to any questions or concerns I had. He was through and explained the entire process and talked me through every step. He made me feel comfortable and even gave me a tissue in case my eyes ended up watering. I didnt need it because he was so quick I felt a pinch and it was done. I definitely recommend these guys for piercings. They are pretty decently priced and also are very open to advice.Id like to mention, when I had my lip done the original bar he pierced with ended up being too short because my lip swole more than expected and Rich was able to change it out for me for a longer one for free. I was able to wear that one until the swelling went down and it healed enough I could change it out. I was very grateful for thier kindness and openness yo all my questions and concerns.

Richard did a phenomenal job at redoing a piece that I had previously gotten done. He basically finished a tattoo that was meant to be a cover-up and was started by another tattooer. As soon as I walked in his shop it was all smiles and jokes from everyone there including the other canvases. It made me feel so good to know that I was accepted. It was the most pleasant experience Ive ever had in a shop and would recommend them to anyone. Rich will be getting all my business from now on.

Anyone who has tattoos knows how important it is to find the right shop and with so many different shops it’s hard to pick. After internet searches, looking on Facebook, reading reviews, and talking to locals, I decided to try Alchemy. I can’t begin to tell you how happy I am with that choice. The owner Rich immediately welcomed me into the shop and was very receptive and helpful. He knows his artists and who might be best for each tattoo. He has a VERY clean shop, and his prices are good. I was there looking to get my first tattoo from 30 years ago covered up. Cover ups can be difficult and some shops don’t wanna touch them. Others try to talk you out of what you want to cover it up with. Not the case here. We went over different options and I decided which one I wanted and made my appointment. Tom did an amazing job! There’s no way you can tell it’s a cover up! I was so pleased with the work and the way I was treated that I made an appointment with Rich (who was backed up about 2 weeks). This time I wanted a tattoo I had gotten a few years ago gone over and incorporated into my sleeve at the top of the shoulder. Once again not something every shop wants to do. Rich was amazing and it would be impossible for me to be happier! I have 2 different tattoos that were done at famous shops that are on tv and Rich’s work is equally as good, if not better. I would highly recommend stopping in and talking to him before I went anywhere else. You won’t regret it.

I stopped in to inquire about some black and grey lace tattoo Ive been thinking about. I spoke to Richard, who was getting ready to start work on a client, but he took the time to answer a few questions, which I appreciated. Tattoos are very personal and a good tattoo artist will draw something original for each client. Richard gave me a ballpark figure as far as time and cost, which fell in line with the rest of the work I currently have (and I have some killer ink, if I do say so myself). The way Richard interacted with me definitely made me want to get a tattoo from him. I hope to be able to get together with him in the near future to discuss a design together. But the fact that he treated me like a good tattoo artist should gives him high props already.

Dan and Rich have both done work on myself and my husband. They are very professional, clean and do fantastic work! I recommend them to anyone who is looking for tattoos or piercings. Yes, you may wait a few but theyre only ensuring your safety and sanitary well being as well as other customers.

Ive got a full sleeve done on my left arm by Daniel and hes starting to fill up my right arm. Ive been getting tatted here for a couple of years and Ive never had an issue. The shop owner, Rich as in I want to be rich one day, is another great artist at the shop too. I try to send as much business their way as possible because they have fair prices and give you quality work every time. If youre not in the area, its worth the drive.

Saw Tom today for some little tatts at Alchemy Tattoos. Where to start... As soon as I got out of the car the sign on the door read No Mask/No Entry/No Exceptions. I knew right then I was in the right place during the current state of things. The shop was exceptionally clean and well kept. Colorful with all the artists work hanging on the walls. During the initial conversation about the designs I wanted, Tom was very helpful with sizing and placement.All the equipment used for the tattoo is disposable, lending to the cleanliness and safety of my experience. Tom is very friendly and easy going. I had to send my images via FB messenger and right after I left the shop, I got a message from Rich asking if I was helped yet. It was very nice of him to get back to me in such a timely manner.I would HIGHLY recommend going to Alchemy Tattoos for your tattoo and piercing needs. You wont be disappointed!

I went here because of the great reviews this place received. I was not disappointed at all. The shop was very clean and well kept. The staff was very professional, and listened to what I wanted from my tattoo. Rich and I went over a few things for the tattoo, and I made an appointment for the following day. Rich arrived at the shop on time, we went over the artwork, and then he got to work. Richs work was professional, he was attentive during whole process, and he kept me talking for a couple hours to keep my mind off the pain. A very good experience here, and plan to come back again....that is if the wife will let me.

My aunt my daughter and I went to get the same matching tat behind our ear. They are all different sizes and even the butterflies are all different he was mad that we decided to not get 3 each and just do 1 each also cussed because my aunt changed her location when he was ready to start I will not go back and I recommend everyone to leave if you arent comfortable with the way people act like we should haveAlso he aggressively shaved my aunt so much that we found literally chunks of hair on her shirt and he shaved her cheek while angry of her changing location

Alchemy Tattoos and Body Piercings is a place I would highly recommend for both piercings and tattoos. I got my belly button pierced there almost a year ago, so when I decided to get a new tattoo today I figured Id go back to a place I knew. I was greeted right away, given a sketch of the tattoo I described, and named a very reasonable price. The tattoo artist Dan is extremely professional, polite, and talented. I couldnt be more thrilled with my new tattoo! Next time I want ink, there isnt a question that Ill be going back to Alchemy.

I feel bad I have to leave this review as I genuinely liked Rich as he was fun, charming and super nice but I feel that it is necessary. I went to go get two piercings done at Alchemy a little over a week ago I didnt look into the shop as my sister had gone there and Rich was kind enough to take me as a walk in. The piercing itself went totally fine he is skilled at what he does in that regard. Its when he gave me my aftercare instructions that set of some alarm bells. He told me to use Bactine and an antiseptic mouthwash. Now this aint my first rodeo. I have several piercings done at various shops and Ive always been told to use sterile saline spray. I asked Rich about this and he said those should only be used on genital piercings. I kind of shrugged my shoulders and went on with my day.When I got home I took a look at my bellybutton jewelry and thought it seemed much to small. I know that the initial jewelry should be longer than normal to account for swelling and the bar should be visible. My piercing swelled up and no bar could be seen. The balls were flush against my skin. More alarm bells started going off. I realised my labret was likewise super short and no bar was visible. I wanted to trust Richs judgement as a piercer and left it for a few days. As the days went on my labret seemed ok but the redness around my bellybutton piercing began getting redder and more angry looking. It wasnt an infection I knew that and I just hoped maybe I had slept on it the night before and again just babied it and let it be. Two days later the redness hadnt gone down and I looked up some reviews online. I saw a few of the reviews were pretty bad(although there are many that are good) and some of Richs replies made me nervous to go back in. The defensive nature of the replies arent a good look. And honestly with my worries about the aftercare instructions and knowing the bar that was put in was to short I looked around for a different shop.I went to see a different piercer and she took one look at my bellybutton piercing and said it was way to short. She had me come back and said not only was it short but I like a lot of folks have a collapsing bellybutton and needed a bar with a flat bottom piece so the ball wouldnt put pressure on my new piercing when I sat. I had read(in a whole lot of places) that titanium is the best for piercings I asked if she had any titanium jewelry and she said thats all she carried. She also stated he had pierced me to deep and advised me it might be best to take it out and let it heal and we could try again but said it might be okay with the new higher quality, correctly sized jewelry. She swapped it out for me for a small fee plus the price of jewelry. The bar is now visible like it should be. I asked her about swapping out my labret jewelry and she said that since it wasnt super irritated like my bellybutton piercing to leave it for now but to come back in a few weeks for a swap. As far as my labret goes it really speaks for the quality of the jewelry I was fitted with. My labret stud had a little crystal or jewel on the ball and that fell out before Id had it a week. Not good. As for my bellybutton piercing since the jewelry change my bellybutton looks a million times better. The redness has daded crazy fast.Im frustrated I didnt do any research and frustrated I didnt trust my gut about the bar of my bellybutton piercing being to short. Im also upset that I even have to leave this review as I dont think Rich is a bad guy at all quite the opposite, I just dont understand how something like this happens at a shop in this day and age. Im also frustrated that when everything is said and done Im going to have spend the same money on getting my jewelry swapped out as I did getting the piercings themself. It takes a lot for me to leave a negative review but this situation has been very frustrating and disappointing. Im just flabbergasted at the whole situation. I have many piercings and Ive never had an issue such as this before.

It was my best piercing experience honestly. I got an inverse vertical labret or an ashely piercing. I went to three different piercer and none of them would do it or had the equipment to do it. I went to alchemy and I just filled out paper work and it was about a five minute process to get the piercing done. He was tattooing a guy at the time and took a break to do my piercing he was so nice and explained everything to me in great detail. Im definitely going back here for my next piercing/tattoo.

They said the tattoo would take an hour to do here, moniques did it in 15 minutes. Never going back to this place. Go to moniques body art, its cleaner and cheaper.

Been here muliple times, most recently i got my tounge pierced, this is the second time i had it pierced and rich was so much more descriptive about after care than when i had it done the first time. I plan to come back again for more tattoos.

The gentleman(first chair on your right as you walk in) who did my tattoos (2 in one session) blew one out while the other is healing well. He went over the blown out one about 12-15 times and took over 40 mins with it (a simple verse in a simple font) and took around 5 mins with the other one that is healing well. While we were walk-Ins they weren’t busy at all. It’s a fuzzy tattoo only a week in. Lesson learned. The owner reached out and offered to correct it.

Ive come here for my last 3 tattoos and my last piercing. Tommy is a God when it comes to tattooing. Ive even had my coworkers come here and they amazed. Prices are reasonable too. This is the place to come

Very dirty shop. As soon as i walked in the artist had an attitude. (The shop was empty, thats no surprise) I asked some questions but the artists vocabulary only consisted of two words: intricate and dude. Way overpriced for below average work. Dont waste your time here, go somewhere else.
