Black N Blue Tattoo & Skate Shop

I went to Black and Blue Tattoo & Skate shop. The owner is extremely nice and helpful. The selection to choose from is great for any skater whether they are a beginner or have been riding their whole life. The shop was clean and well kept and I plan on going back soon.

A big thank you to Ashley and Dan for our group tattoo. They were so accommodating for our last minute request. Their work is fantastic, and they are both really great people. They took their time with us to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted, and cleaned and sterilized between each person.While we were just in town for the weekend, were still close enough to come back to Black N Blue for future pieces. Thank you for the tattoo and fun memory!

Amazing artists, i walked in around 12:30 and they got me in same day. justin was super gentle too which was lovely. Clean shop.

A girls trip to Lincoln city turned into spontaneous tattoo decision. We walked in and Dan greeted us and immediately got to work. He had sketched up what we wanted in no time and his attention to detail was impressive. Any questions he knew and anticipated exactly what we were trying to convey. Definitely recommend!

Artists were professional, creative, fun to work with, and friendly as anything. Worked with my wife and I on designs, made adjustments as requested, maintain Avery cool vibe the whole time. Highly recommend!

I live in Boise and made the mistake of getting a tattoo from Dan while on vacation in Lincoln City. He did such a great job that now I’m going to have to drive all the way back every time I want a new tattoo.

Malcom did my husband and my tattoo. He was collaborative when coming up with the design and was patient with us and we decided exactly how we wanted it to look. He offered experienced view points on how long term healing would look which helped us decided a few aspects of the design. The shop was clean and a welcoming environment. Malcom was pleasant to chat with during our time on his table. We will return for additional work by him in the future!

Ive gotten 4 tattoos from Ashley now. Ive been extremely happy with every single one! She has amazing line work and I love her creative twist on every tattoo I bring her. The vibe is awesome in the shop. Malcom and Dan are dope as well. They have skateboards and clothing in the shop as well. I have 28 tattoos and hers are my favorite ones on my body! Absolutely amazing work. Malcom did amazing work on my hand tattoos. I cannot express how happy i was with the experience. I dropped in without notice, aka a walk in appointment, (really I just wanted a price check) and was greeted with professionalism and help that went above and beyond my expectation.He was so good and gentle with the tattoo that I almost fell asleep while he was working on my right hand. The end follow up was detailed and he provided me with a sheet explaining the touch up guidelines and expectations from me during the healing process.I came in three weeks later to the entire shop excited to see them and compliments about how nicely I took care of the tattoos. I felt that the people here really care about the culture and the art behind the tattooing scene and are more involved that my other artists. I will be coming back.

I was walking around Lincoln city when I noticed this spot. They had really unique clothes. So while my friend is getting a tattoo I am shopping! Which is way better then waiting in the lobby. Id definitely will visit this spot again when I am at the coast.

Black and Blue Tattoo is a clean and cute space. Ashley is amazing! She’s kind, patient and does beautiful work. She was quick to respond to my inquiry and was very flexible and able to schedule me even with my limited time in town. I got my first tattoo with her a little over a week ago. She took time to understand and revise the art until I was happy. I’m not a fan of needles and I was nervous as heck. She was gentle, made me feel very comfortable and held a pleasant conversation during my time in the chair. I really enjoyed the process. My tattoo has healed already and I had minimal pain/uncomfortableness after and no issues with healing. I would highly recommend Ashley, even if you’re scared of needles like me!

Got a tattoo on my foot a few months back and Ashley told me if I had any troubles with it to come back in and she would touch it up for me for free like every other tattoo artist on the planet. I reached out to get it touched up and someone texted back, pretty rudely might I add, saying that they don’t do free touch ups on hands or feet because they don’t hold ink well in the first place. Honestly, if you’re not going to honor what you say, you shouldn’t be in business. Customer service was lacking in this conversation/transaction. Will definitely be taking my business and money elsewhere.

While visiting Salishan for a weekend for my best friends bday we decided spontaneously to get tattoos and after being referred to black n blue by a friend- managed to walk in and snag an appointment for the following day. Because we didn’t have our designs decided when stopped in Ashley worked with us via TEXT Into the evening to help me figure out size and placement of a tree tattoo I had been working on planning- she was SUPER helpful and responsive and even provided suggestions on after care (which she includes the product for as part of the tattoo costs!) that would allow my leg tattoo to heal without having to miss work where I wouldn’t have been able to keep it covered. All this was in addition to her giving me the most amazing tattoo, in a positive and friendly shop, with a caring and non- intimidating attitude. I highly recommend Ashley and her shop.

My family came in for memorial tattoos in honor of our beloved dog. Ashley found a spot to fit us in (next day...sweet). Her lines are straight, she’s hilarious, AND makes a client feel at ease. Good work Ashley!!- little update, while the lines are definitely clean and everything healed alright there are quite a few spots that arent completely filled in. I live in Colorado so I cant go back for a touchup. Luckily my normal artist that Ive gone to for most of my other tattoos will fix it for cheap. Not the worst thing that could have happened but I do feel like tattoos should be a one and done type of things, as this has never happened to me with any of my other tattoos.7/25/19: UPDATE: Also, on the guy, when you shave an area, do NOT use a dry razor. Please use shaving cream. And do NOT shave against the growth pattern. Let the client shave the area if you don’t know how. The tattoo is fine, but tons on ingrown hairs on leg that are painful due to incorrect shaving. And infected. Do you use disposable razors?

Ive had quite a bit of tattoo work done at a lot of different places. I would say shes at the top. She was able to get me in even though she was very busy and really quick and really good. Clearly the place to get your tattoo on the coast.

I went into this tattoo studio very excited to get some work done, but more than a month after going in to set up an appointment I still haven’t heard back from them about an appointment time. Don’t come here for reliable booking or trustworthy scheduling.
