Very lovely experience getting our ears pierced with Shirley. I got a second ear piercing, and my daughter (6 years old) got her regular ear piercing. Shirley explained in detail both the procedure and aftercare. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. I am usually sensitive to pain, but it was quick and, I believe, less painful than a gun piercing. Shirley explained that the piercing needle is hollow and very sharp, which makes it less traumatic. As expected, my daughter was a bit nervous, but Shirley established great contact with her, and it went well.

Mike was very great to work with. He did a awesome job covering my vulgar tattoo with Geri and Freki, Whats great he let me have a few smoke breaks.

This is my first tattoo and the design meant a lot to me. Mike was very responsive and helpful with font selection. He showed me the design template when I arrived, printed it out and placed it to make sure it was what I wanted. He works pretty quickly and I love the end results. I would definitely see Mike again when Im ready for another.

I didn’t know where to get inked up here in Illinois and I had a hell of a time finding someone to cover up a name. Jermey took care of me. He did excellent work and the customer service was great. I said I wasn’t gonna get any more but now this place has me thinking again. Will post pictures when healed.

Mike was Great, came in with a general idea of what I was looking for and Mike worked with me and came up with several ideas. Couldnt have more pleased with the outcome. Even threw in some Doctor Who Gallifreyan for Webb which was perfect for the tattoo. Highly recommend!

Had a fanominal tattoo done here with Mike A. I told him what i wanted and he blew my expectations out of the watter. ive had a lot of complements on the tattoo and i just got the tattoo on 2-18-17. He took his time to research my tattoo idea and look at pictures to get a unique tattoo of what i wanted. Im going back to him again for my next tattoo.

I recently booked a tattoo appointment with Percy, and I had great time! Ive had couple different tattoos done by different artists at other studios, but I think this is my best tattoo experience yet. Percy did a phenomenal job. They were professional and friendly, and they answered all of my questions throughout the whole process. The tattoo they designed is exactly whay I asked for, and the tattoo itself turned out gorgeous. They even offered me a snack half way through the tattoo. The shop was very clean and had laid back vibe (with good music, too). Definitely recommend.

I scheduled my appointment two weeks ahead of time. I received a text message at 6 AM the day of my appointment saying he was unable to do my tattoo. The lack of professionalism is shocking to me.Go somewhere where they appreciate your time and your money.The tattoo artist name was Gavin don’t waste your time.

Went in for a quick piercing with Shirley. Making the appointment was quick and easy through Instagram and going through it was just as painless. Good communication through the procedure and left confident in my overall piercing plans for the future. Id definitely recommend giving Shirley a shot!

My sisters and I inquired last minute about getting matching tattoos and Alec was very accommodating. He made the experience one not to forget. It was 3 sisters first tattoo, and he made it a very fun but also relaxing time and ensured that we were all very satisfied with our tattoos. Definitely recommend.

Good work, unfortunately it’s almost impossible to make an appointment:( went 3 separate times to the store during there open hours, to find a locked door. After calling several times as well I kind of gave up. I got a tattoo done last year by Alec and I loved it. Wish I could have gotten in for more work.

I did a little research before I chose where to go. I got my first tattoo here, and I came in with a sketch of what I wanted, so I wasnt sure what to expect. I got my tattoo from Jeremy, and he drew me a design, gave me a price, and worked with me to give me exactly what I wanted. It was quick, fairly priced, and came out awesome. He was respectful and he eased the nerves and pain of a first tattoo as much as possible. He also gave me some tips on how to care for it as it heals. Id schedule an appointment if you dont want to wait, because I did spend a good portion of my time there waiting, but everyone was clearly busy, so its not their fault. Couldnt have asked for a better experience or tattoo.

Turning 50 & decided to finally get my first tattoo! Ive thought about it for years, and after searching for just the right artist, I decided on Mike Austin at Tomato Tattoo. Now, hes my first & only, so I cant compare this to any other tattoo experience, but I am VERY happy with my new ink! Mike is an interesting guy personality-wise. He definitely is an artist, not just slap on whatever you want. He takes true pride in his work. Making sure the finished product is tattoo perfection! He did take some liberties with the design I wanted - but he was RIGHT, I love the finished product!But, let me say this, Mikes biggest plus was his care during this whole process! Like I said, this was my first tat. I did have a much more experienced friend with me, but Mike was AWESOME. Patient, kind, considerate. This could have been a nightmare. I was nervous, I passed out, I threw up, it was painful - but Mike made it all ok. Stellar! And, after feedback from tattoo people, Mike did a better job than anyone expected! My design has lots of circles, which apparently, to the inexperienced artist easily become ovals (Ive attached photos). Im leaving this review so you know my experience. I couldnt recommend one place over another since this was #1. But I thank Mike Austin & everyone at Tomato very much for being a part of this milestone for me!

Called in advance for a nose piercing 1:43pm. My sister was told the piercer would be ready between 30-45 minutes. We drove out to the shop EARLY and we got there 2:10pm and waited until 3:18 and the man never showed. I heard the artists say he should be here at 3:30 going on 4 when we were told 2:30. The artists were rude and not once did they inform me about the piercer running late or anything. This was unprofessional and I will NEVER recommend this shop. We left and went to another shop...everything was fast and professional. My sister got her piercing and was happy with the service.

Got my first non-gun non-mall-kiosk piercing here. I got my helix done by Shirley, who is apparently a new piercer there but you would never know it. (My cousin gets all of her piercings done by Kris(sp?) so I hear he is really good at what he does as well.) The place seemed pretty sterile. When I didnt like where the placement was for the piercing marker a dozen times, she had no problem moving it wherever I wanted it. They had some really cute jewelry to choose from, I got an adorable CZ flower that I am in love with. The only thing possibly negative I can say is that the price may be a tad too high (just based on what I hear YouTubers say they paid for theirs). I paid $50 for the basic piercing+$20 extra for the non-basic earring I wanted, not including tip, but I mean for the price I got a really cute earring and no infections/problems with it, so it is up to you on that. Like I said, I have had absolutely no problems with healing or anything else, in regards to the piercing. All else I can say is that I cant wait to go back there for my next piercing!

Got my dermal piercings done almost 3 years ago. They healed great and were very sterile and professional while doing it. Would definitely recommend them for any dermal piercings! I will be trying them soon for a tattoo!

Dont have personal conversations/text with customers outside of tattoos! Keep it strictly business even if the customer doesnt. Otherwise end the conversation instead of letting it become inappropriate and unprofessional. Specifically for the tall, thin, older and half owner Mike.However, they are good artists. Just not an appropriate place to bring anyone under 18.

They are extremely rude toward me when i came in for an opinion. I wanted to get a tattoo on my arm but it is my first tattoo so i wanted to know whats up before i decide to get one. I waited for almost half an hour by the front desk and i know not all of them were busy with customers because i can see them sitting around in the back. Finally one of them approached me, i asked my question and all i got for an answer was you have to get it to know, i dont know what its going to be like .... and told me to wait for someone else.

Called a couple days before to make sure there would be a piercer on staff on the day I wanted to come in and to check prices. They said yes there would be and to go ahead and come in on Thursday. We came in on Thursday at 12:30 and despite their hours saying they open at 12 there wasnt a person in sight... we waited around and called a couple times and eventually left and went to ronin where they did a great job and will be getting my business from now on.

Let me start by saying this isnt my first rodeo, I have a full sleeve, as well as a chest plate and ribs, anyway. I walk into this smokey filled, cockroach infested tatoo shop because I liked the work one of the artist had on their webpage only to find the worse tattoo shop Ive ever been in. The tattoo artist Justin, who was clearly on something and out of his mind couldnt even hold a sharpie straight to do the stencil of the outlined area. After a short talk he proceeded to ask me for a deposit. I wanted a fairly simple Japanese tattoo, When I asked him how much the work would cost before I gave him the $60 deposit; he refused to give me a price and followed by handing me a card that said: F#(k YOU PAY ME. Needles to say f#(k him Im not paying him for anything. Save yourself the 30 minutes dont even walk into this place. Wow!

All of my work is from Alec. He has been tattooing me for 10 years. Ask for him. Give him $$ for awesome Tattoos. Happy Friday the 13th with this new ink. Thanks Alec.

Walked in and the dude didn’t even greet us. I asked if he takes walk ins and he said “we try.” I then said i wanted a tattoo on my finger (my body my choice) and he shook his head and said “nope.”First off, why “nope” ??? Maybe have a follow up reason about why the answer is no? I felt like I was talking to my mom. I then said “so anywhere else on the Body is fine?”He responded with “well.. within reason”Okay sir! Looks like you don’t wanna make any money tonight soooo PEACE bro.Would never go back nor recommend this place to anyone. Worst customer service ever

Ive gotten two tattoos here I dont necessarily think I would ever go here again they do good tattoos but theyre definitely overpriced I can go somewhere else and get the same tattoo for maybe 30 or 40 bucks cheaper and then I could use that to tip the guy where is here at its so expensive that I dont even feel like I want to tip Plus in a way theyre kind of rude
