I have two tattoos from Leg now and each time was a great experience. Each time I was checked in quickly and everyone was extremely nice to me. The studio environment is so nice with everyone working stopping in to chat. And of course Leg’s tattoos are beautiful! I am personally a yapper during tattoos as that’s what helps me forget about the actually tattoo happening, so Leg and the other artists coming and talking to me is perfect. I have no doubt that if you just wanted to plug in headphones and chill that it would be a great environment for that too! I plan on coming back for my next tattoo!

I’ve been going to Blackwork for my tattoo and piercing needs for many years and it’s been great each time! I was just there again and I left happy and satisfied as usual. Everyone there is so nice, friendly, talented, and very knowledgeable. They truly take their time to answer all your questions and always have your best interest in mind. When I go there, not only am I getting amazing service but I also feel like I’m hanging out with friends! It’s an all-around great experience and would highly recommend!

Been coming here for a couple of years now. I stumbled across it when I was coming out of the mall and I decided to get my first piercing there and I’m glad I did. It’s a little out of my way but it’s worth it for the environment. One of the biggest things that makes a place worth coming back to is the friendliness of the people that work there and this place has it! I’m Always nervous about a piercing but they make it so comfortable that I’m always debating on getting another one right on the spot.

I come to here for Leg and her amazing tattoo skills. I have also gotten a septum piercing here as well. Shop is clean, everyone you deal with is super friendly and knowledgeable, it’s just one of the best places around for a tattoo or piercing with great people, clean shop, and best prices.

Blackwork Tattoo is nothing short of a professional shop. I got a big piece tattooed by one of their fantastic artists, Nelio. Not only was he attentive to the ideas that I gave him and to the detail of the tattoo itself, he brought my ideas to life. Not a lot of people who can do that. Blackwork Tattoo is a fantastic shop and I would strongly recommend them and their artists to anyone.

I was tattooed by Natalie Cruz and it was such a great experience from start to finish. The shop was very clean and she definitely made her room into a safe space. She was very consistent in communication and took her time to listen to my ideas. She communicated what she was working on next and explained techniques to achieve a certain look, which I really appreciated. I already had the outline of a piece and wanted her to finish my sleeve with her own style. She created a beautiful snake and added on details that made my entire sleeve flow perfectly. The atmosphere was amazing, you could tell that they’re all very close and the artists are highly supportive of each other. Overall, it was a great experience and I will be coming back. I was recently tattooed by Heena and it was a wonderful experience! It was my first time at the shop and I would definitely return. The receptionist was friendly and Heena was professional and kind. I didn’t feel rushed at any point and she checked on me throughout in case I needed a break. The tattoo is STUNNING. OMG. I picked a flash piece and the line work, design, and execution is just gorgeous. Heena addressed any concerns I had during sizing and placement. She was clear on aftercare and so easy to work with, from booking to the finished product! Thank you so much!!

I couldn’t be any more happy with how everything turned out. Nose piercing was quick and painless. As for my tattoos, I absolutely love them. I got one done the other day and loved it so much I went back the next day to get another one. Tattooer was Nick and I highly recommend him. Look forward to getting more work done. Nat is literally the BEST ! I recently got my septum pierced and she was so kind to take me as a walk in , after the piercing I didn’t feel so good and she made me feel so safe and comfortable , she didn’t make me feel embarrassed or weak , she even gave me a ring pop and a juice lmao . If you have anxiety about things like this I definitely would recommend Nat 🫶🏻

I had the best experience here with my piercer Helen! I have gotten over 5 piercings done sadly at other places and this is the FIRST time ever that I had no problems with a piercing! Not only were they prompt, professional, and clean but also easy to talk to, non-judgmental, and kind. My tattoo artist (Nicolas) was kind, attentive and caring, asking every so often if i was Okay. Great staff!! They all take good care of their equipment and are extremely friendly. I got my first ever tattoos done by Nelio and he did a perfect Job! I was worried since I have never gotten any before but Neilo took such great care of my friend and I, it Couldn’t have gone better especially for my first time. Will be back again for my next ones.

I’m a bit of a baby when it comes to getting tattooed and Heena made me feel so comfortable and made sure my tattoo was exactly how I wanted it. Came here to get my first body piercing. Have had so many horrible experiences with ear piercings in the past with infections, decided to do it right for once with my nose piercing. I was extremely nervous walking in but Helen made me so comfortable and was asking questions to ease my discomfort. The piercing itself went amazing, almost passed out afterward when standing up and she did everything in her power to make me feel better. Gave me a mint, water, ice packs, and assured me it’s normal for adrenaline to make you feel this way. Will definitely be coming back if i need anything in the future + AMAZING PRICING. Thank you Helen!!!!!!

I gave her an inspo pic and told her what I wanted to do with it and she made that vision come to life leaving me with a perfect tattoo. Heena was absolutely amazing! Her work is unmatched and her skills are unreal! My piece on my arm is so detailed and amazing the way she did it and the work she put in was unreal! There is no one like her if your looking for any kid of tattoo go to no one else but her!

I went with a big piercing bump, that was irritated for months. Helen was extremely lovely, and professional in helping me in the process of getting rid of it. I just got my first tattoo done with Natalie yesterday, and I couldnt be happier with it! Since I got a quote, she went over several different fonts and text sizes of options beforehand to make sure it was the perfect shape and size exactly how I wanted it. This was a tattoo right underneath my collarbone, so I was nervous about the pain level that I was going to feel. Natalie was great with talking to me the whole time, so I wasnt thinking about the pain, and I felt very comfortable and it didnt even hurt super bad as I was getting it! It turned out amazing and EXACTLY what I wanted. I barely knew anything about tattoo aftercare, but she went over everything I needed to know, and answered any question I had about the healing process, and I think its healing great right now! I would say this place is very clean, reputable, and trustworthy, and everyone seemed friendly and welcoming. I am definitely going to book here again for future tattoos!

Ive gone here many times over the years and recently came back again to get a beautiful flash by Heena. She was so sweet and gentle. She checked in with me several times to make sure I was still doing okay or if I needed a break which I really appreciated - I would never want to disrupt an artists flow! Most importantly, I LOVE my newest tattoo!! It came out absolutely gorgeous! Thank you Heena and Blackwork!!

Blackwork couldnt come anymore recommended for me. Very clean, professional, and very quick to answer any questions. Ive got three full color tattoos done in a month and a half with Nat and as soon as Im ready Ill be back again to get more work done from her without hesitation.

Ive been to this shop many times for both tattoos and piercings. Eclipse has helped me many times with my piercing issues and Nat has done amazing work on a majority of my tattoos including a half sleeve made up of her take on traditional style tattoos. The receptionist (theres been one or two that ive seen) is always friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this shop.

This past Friday was my first time at Blackwork for a tattoo but it was not my first time getting work done by Rob. The shop itself has such a chill and clean atmosphere. Both front desk women I deal with were sweet and fun to have a chat with. Its very spacious as well. If you come in feeling nervous about the piercing or tattoo youre about to get, I promise most of it will fade before you know it with how friendly and understanding everyone at this shop is. You can tell as soon as you walk in its a judgement free zone.As for Rob, I dont think there are enough words on this planet to describe how much I appreciate him as an artist and adore him as a person as well. This past Friday was my third tattoo done by him out of the three I have and theres a reason I seek him directly for ink work. He was very patient with me the first time I got a tattoo, walking me through every single step he was doing so I felt comfortable and was aware of every single thing happening, something he still tends to do now which is amazing.Did the tattoos hurt? Of course they did, especially the wrist haha. But the one thing that helped is how much of a conversationalist he can be. From the moment I sit in the chair to the moment I leave, Rob can talk about almost anything and will answer every single one of my ridiculous or random questions. Hes hilarious but also very insightful. Im so invested in our conversation, I hardly notice how much progress hes made on the tattoo.This last tattoo I got was in memory of my Nana who passed a week before my birthday last month. The original concept was supposed to be surrounding Hamilton, my favorite musical. When I messaged Rob and told him I wanted to change the concept because of her sudden passing, he had absolutely no problem doing it and was very sympathetic to my loss. The tattoo he did, like the others, is amazing and I think a beautiful way for me to remember her by. Hes a 10000/10 artist and I will keep going back to him for tattoos until I run out of room or he retires, whichever comes first XD

Helen at Blackwork Tattoo was truly AMAZING! There are no words to express my sincerest gratitude to her. She is knowledgeable about piercing care and she is the reason that I was able to save my tragus piercings! Helen gave me such grace, care, and patience.In September, I got 2 tragus piercings outside of New Jersey (Black Cloud Tattoo and piercing -Pineville, North Carolina). They were both pierced with a curved barbell. Day 7 post piercing my ball fell off and I went to a shop to have it looked at (7souls tattoo-Fairlawn, NJ) where they just screwed on the ball. This piercer said nothing further.Two weeks later I had issues with the earrings (ball falling off again and earrings shifting) Helen had me come to Blackwork Tattoo shop right away so that I could get a flat post instead. She explained that these piercings should have NEVER been pierced with a curved barbell due to the potential for rejection.I am so grateful for Helens expertise because it is obvious that the people before her were amateurs. Helen made sure I felt like I mattered to the point where she would follow up on my progress with the piercings since the very first day I met her.Fast forward to surviving one left inner ear infection and one right tragus irritation bump plus lots of cleaning and drying I can finally say the both of my tragus piercings are healing very well! I even was able to get my posts shortened by Helen. This could not be possible without wonderful people like Helen. I wish her many blessings as well as to her family. I will always think of her when I see my beautiful tragus piercings. 😊 thank you again Helen.

Got tatted by rob c (cr8tvmnd) on my sternum, my mom also got a couple tats by him in one sitting. great vibes, talked us through the process, fast tatter and worked with us on our ideas. The tattoos came out great and healed relatively quickly. We were talked through aftercare and am def coming back for my next ideas. Pricing was excellent. The tats actually didnt hurt too bad. Definitely book here for your tattoo ideas, theyre usually open for appts the day of which is super convenient. Thank you rob and blackwork!!

Nat Cruz is AMAZING!!! She is an incredibly talented artist, very accommodating and professional, and just wonderful company as you get tattoo work done. Plus, her pricing is fair and very reasonable -- her work however, I feel, is quite priceless and beautiful!! What I love the most is her creative process from design to tattoo execution. She worked with me very closely to ensure placement was exactly as intended, and she was equally honest with her modifications to ensure a sustainable and beautiful tattoo over time. Her tattooing technique is spot on as well, her steady hands made precise linework look so easy and stamped on. I went in for some ear piercings and the service was excellent! Nat was so sweet. She explained everything thoroughly, walked me through the process, and really made sure I as happy with what I was getting before she did anything. It was practically painless! I have as so impressed that I left and immediately filled out the form on her website to make another appointment. The shop was clean, it’s clear they are taking every possible precaution. I felt very safe and very taken care of. I can’t say enough good things!

Got my first tattoo done here with Natalie. I was beyond nervous going in, but she was so friendly and showed me several options and gave her valuable input. Natalie was a great piercer. The lady at the front desk was very professional. I walked in expecting to get an industrial bar on my right ear and ended up getting a rook because my ear isnt curved correctly for that particular piercing. But Natalie being the talented piercer she is knew exactly what to do and what to recommend me. The process was very quick and not very painful at all and not very expensive either. She also recommended aftercare and told me exactly what to do to heal it. Good experience.

The staff here is really professional. It was my first time getting a tattoo and my 3rd time piercing my nose and they were both really informative and friendly. Natalie did both my nose piercing and tattoos and she absolutely killed it. They’re also taking COVID precautions extremely seriously. One of the owners was disinfecting the area as soon as I stepped in. Really really dope environment and I will most definitely be back for more!

I came here based on good reviews and my lovely husband decided to buy me a tattoo for my birthday! I came in and was greeted immediately and set up with someone right away, I checked in on a tablet and met with my artist, Nat. I showed her a picture of what I wanted to give her an idea of what we were working with and she was super friendly and worked with me through all my anxiety I was having. She quickly drew something up and we were ready to go! She worked quickly and efficiently and checked in on me frequently to make sure I was okay. I have never had such a good experience getting a tattoo. She went above and beyond with the design and put so much intricate detail into it, i was really amazed! I also got a huge piece that takes a big portion of my calf done at a very reasonable price and within an hour and a half in one session. I can’t say enough good things about this artist and this shop! This is definitely my new favorite shop!

My artist, Hazel, is very kind and patient when it comes to getting an idea together, and the execution of the tattoos are incredible. I made an appointment for two piercings ! I was seen in a timely manner, the woman Helen was super friendly ! Eclipse did my piercings and he was very professional!The place is really clean, I even saw them use a black light sanitizer!!!Would definitely recommend!! I had a tattoo done by Natalie a little over a year ago. She was great and did an excellent job even with me needed to take a quick break every few minutes. It healed quickly and no issues with it then or now, it still looks new. Helen worked with me to get the right font style and size I wanted. The shop was clean and comfortable and everyone was nice and accommodating. Definitely would and have recommended Blackwork to others.

I had a shoulder tattoo done by Nic, he was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Good sense of humor, and he was excellent at taking my idea and making it happen on my skin. I’ve gotten 4 tattoos with Nat at Blackworks over the last year and every time has been a completely positive experience in all ways.-the tattoos are amazing and have healed super well with no blowouts or wonky lines-tattoos were extremely reasonably and fairly priced—it is very clear that everyone wants to work within your budget and not price gouge at all-two of the tattoos i got were exact recreations of a previous illustration and they were executed perfectly. the other two were Nat’s original art and they were amazing and it was clear she spent time and effort making them as good as they were and taking in all the parts I had said I wanted included.Their COVID protocols are top notch—obviously important when you’re getting a tattoo right now.Just chatting with Helen and Nat as my tattoo is being done is lovely and makes the place warm and welcoming. Would recommend for basically everyone.

Out of everywhere I’ve been I love this place the most. I’ve taken a couple people to get tattoos here after my amazing experience with Masivo (Mas) ! He’s the most professional artist I’ve had work on me to this day. He gave the same great work and energy to my friends too, they equally love their tattoos & experiences. I told him what I wanted and to get creative & I was in awe with the result. Not only is he creative & passionate but he’s clean, open minded & very caring. He does great work, is very mindful & knows how to make people comfortable. I’ve stayed in touch with him about coming back for more work by him specifically & I always refer anyone to him when they ask me for an artist.

We came here 3/2021 for my three year old to get her ears pierced. They would only let me use their head piercer Eclipse because they wanted to be sure my baby was taken care of. Eclipse was a big teddy bear. He got to know my daughter and was so gentle with her. He loved how she brought her troll doll who also had earrings. Eclipse was super amazing at explaining the care to me which I didn’t know has changed since I was a kid getting my ears pierced. I highly recommend any parent looking for their baby to go here. It was safe, clean, and my daughter loved it!!! Thank you!

The best experience ever!!!😁😁I’m 29 years old and never got a tattoo in my life because I never thought of something so important to place permanently on my body forever, and I’m super scared of needles.Nat was my tattoo artist and she was absolutely amazing hands down. She was so patient with me and walked me the every step of the tattoo process. The tattoo actually came out better than I pictured it to be. COVID precautions were on point. Place is clean. Would recommend Nat for any female who prefers to have their tattoo done by another female. Or anyone wanting a tattoo.

I’ve been going to Blackwork for over 7 years and seeing Mas for the last couple years. He’s really easy to talk to, makes you feel comfortable and works with you to get exactly you’re looking for. I always appreciate his professional input so the pieces come out even better than I had imagined. I’ve also been tattooed by Nat and Rob and got a nose piercing by Eclipse. The shop is very professional and clean. The whole staff is awesome. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and tell everyone I know to come here.

We traveled all the way down from New York for a tattoo with Ses. The staff was caring, professional and helped my son relax for his first tattoo. Ses did not rush, or make us feel rushed. He took his time, and is very detailed. He explains the process and his work is amazing. So happy my son got his first ink here!

My girl Jashi is one of the best tattoo artists there! This shop may be small, but its got lots of character, clean and the artists there are so friendly, patient and professional.

I recently moved to NJ and it’s been hard to find my home tattoo shop. Found this shop by scrolling up and down thru Instagram using hashtags and thank God I did. I wanted to get my neck and throat done and was really nervous as this would be a really visible area and would be impossible to hide. Nick did it all! Put me at ease, listened to my ideas, and really made the whole process a collaboration. Some tattoo artists can be very set in their ways and really make you just feel like a customer but nick took his time with me and made me want to keep coming back for more work. My whole neck and throat are pretty much covered and cant wait to go back to nick and this shop for more art! The owner and his wife were just as amazing as Nick and should get a special shout out too! Incredibly friendly and down to earth! Again as a new customer to this shop i think how the owners act and support the artists is extremely important and they helped in making the shop a good environment that i want to return to!

My friends and I all went to get piercings when they were having a walk in day and I’m not even joking Ciara has got to be one of the best piercers! We all loved her and she made the whole process awesome!! Definitely coming here again for more!

When I tell you the vibes of this place are insane, Ciara took such good care of me and my friend, the piercing was virtually painless and I didn’t even feel the jewelry being put in. You could not only see but feel her experience, on top of that she was the sweetest most chill person. Love her and definitely coming back for all my future piercing!!

Went to Ciara in 09/21 for a couple of ear piercings and a jewelry change. She was super professional, fast, and, most importantly, kind. She checked up on me several times throughout our time together and was very mindful of my pain and making sure I was doing ok. Once these heal I’ll definitely be back for more!

Got my rook done. Personally I think the jewelry there wasn’t cleaned properly and my ear got infected from it. As well as the piercer told me I can message them if I had any issues which I did, and of course I get no response probably due to them not wanting to be of any help. So I went to a different tattoo & piercing place and got it taken out. Thank you to the people I went to because it was infected and even they said it was low quality jewelry and probably nothing was cleaned properly and or the person who pierced my ear originally did it wrong. Never going back for any piercings at blackworks. Very disappointed.

Got my lotus tattoo on my ribs by the beautiful Nat back in late April! By far, the best tattoo experience Ive had. Its all healed now and I am beyond happy with how it looks! ant wait to go back! :D so yes, I totally recommend this shop! Everyone is great !

Got my belly button repierced for the 3rd time now and I was hesitant to get it cause I had gotten it pierced wrong the previous times, but Ciara was amazing. She took one look at my scarred holes and said “oh no I’ll fix you up babygirl”, from the moment I met her I felt comfortable and safe to get this piercing again. Now I have a history with not handling pain very well, Ciara was just astonishing and quick with the piercing and jewelry and the aftermath of me. My wife wanted to get a couple of tattoos which was going to be my gift to her for Christmas. She did the research and chose Hazel at Blackwork Tattoo Shop. Before Christmas she contacted Hazel through this shop and setup an appointment for Jan 15, due to work schedule my wife can only make an appointment on a weekend. After a brief back and forth with Hazel, she paid a deposit to the artist via Venmo and received confirmation of her appointment. Several weeks later on, Jan 15th, I drove my wife down to the shop to get her new tattoos. We arrived 15 minutes before our appointment. We walk in and are greeted by a woman, who is not Hazel. We tell her my wife is here for her appointment. The woman goes in the back then comes out and apologizes. Apparently Hazel is now working out in NYC on the weekends and failed to inform us that she had moved. The women stated we could go to NYC to see Hazel, which we declined or reschedule for another time but Hazel only works during the week. As I stated earlier in my review, weekdays are not an option. They also offered another artist but my wife spent the time to research what artist that she wanted and was not comfortable just taking any artist. She was then directed to request a refund in Venmo directly with the artist, Hazel did refund our deposit. For my wife to have booked several weeks out, put a deposit down and not to be informed until we actually got to the store by either Hazel or someone about Hazels move is why I am giving a 1-start review. It was an extreme disappointment.

Ty did my first tattoo. I was referred by my daughter to go to blackwork. I couldnt be happier with the result. It was exactly what I asked for. I recommend going to Ty for any of your tattoo needs. Hes a talented guy and knows exactly what hes doing. Ill be back to him for any other tattoo I have in mind. Thank you!

Walked in here yesterday for a tattoo Ive been wanting for a while. Small one on my wrist. The front desk girl was very nice and helpful. Mas was friendly and made me feel comfortable. It was a simple tattoo but he was very diligent and made sure it was exactly what I wanted.Would come back if I ever decided to get another tattoo.

Rob is the BEST. Not only is he a wonderful artist but he is also a great person to chat with while getting your ink. He has done 13 of my tattoos now and many more to come! Hes very creative with custom pieces and the BOMB at animated and cartoon images. Would recommend him 100%!!!

I went back to my man Rob to do another war memorial half sleeve and once again it came out beyond my expectations! That man has perfected his trade, the detail in it was so intricate and he nailed every aspect of the piece. We sat for almost 8 straight hours and he inked my arm like a man possessed, agian he explained everything he was about to do and made the whole experience awesome. He is the only artist I will ever go to for now on. I very much look forward to continuing my collection through his hand. I highly recommend him for any challenging pieces, he certainly will not disappoint.

My husband and I drove an hour and a half to go here on our daughters birthday for her first tattoo and they are the best!!!!! Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. Its so clean inside its IMMACULATE!!!!! I would definitely take the drive here again. The price was great and the quality is superb!!! I totally recommend this place to everyone!!

Nat is so professional!! Shop has a very safe environment had to complete a questionnaire after that she took me in right away! I learned she such a down to earth person made me so comfortable . 1st artist who actually ask me she want to print me out 3 sizes gave her opinion and literally nailed it !!!!! Nat your officially my new artist thank u !!!!

This shop gave my friend a cover up and it is horrendous. It was done by “Natalie” . Now she is paying to cover it up because it is a mess, she is scarred. This girl had no idea what she was doing and charged a decent price as if she had experience. I brought my friend here because I got one of my first tattoos done by Ses & was happy with it. But when I came back to get it touched up, the artists stayed in the back and told the counter girl to tell me they don’t do touch ups nor did they come up to address it. This shop was great in the early 2000s but it’s 20 years later and trying to have their daughter do the work is shot because she sucks and doesn’t know what she’s doing. They need to find some real artists and stop having apprentices do the work. Theyre better artists on the street in Paterson that don’t even work at a shop then the people who run this place .

After looking for a very long time for the perfect shop to get my first tattoo, I decided to go here. Everything about it was great appearance wise, I went in to speak to a tattooist about what I wanted he was extremely friendly and I was excited. I didnt need the tatt for 2 months but he told me give him a month to draw it. a month passes and I get no response to my email for 2 weeks I had to email again. The response was wait another week Ill send the picture. its been a week and still nothing. Plain disappointment, was really looking forward to getting ink done by them.

So far Ive gotten four ear piercings (cartilege/two second lobe from Nat and another cartilege from Eclipse). The three I received from Nat were part of their $20 per piercing special that they have sometimes, which is an amazing deal.However, when I got my cartilege from Eclipse, I also asked for a tattoo consultation. I showed him the rough design I wanted (with a few modifications) and he told me he would email me back with his sketch. Hes never emailed me back with his sketch or possible times for an appointment. I didnt want to cause a fuss about it, but I really wanted that tattoo.

Ses did my very first tattoo 10 years ago and Ive been loyal since. 3 years ago he did an amazing portrait of my daughter as a newborn on my back. Came here to do a tiger head tattoo by Ease and all I can say is UNBELIEVABLY REALISTIC AND BEAUTIFUL!!! Ease is beyond talented, makes you feel comfortable at all times and most importantly has the artistic eye and experience to bring your idea of a tattoo to a whole other level entirely!!! I wouldnt go anywhere else I been going here since I was 20 and every time Im here I have a gd time while getting my tattoo! These artist arent like other artist at other shops where they dnt care about wht u wanna get they just there for the money.the artist at this shop will tell you it doesnt make sense or it wont look right ect. They will make sure ur tattoo is done right and it looks great!!!! the receptionist is amazing she will make sure ur appointment is booked and you are ready to go. They also do all types of piercings; she will walk you to the back and wait with u til its ur turn , shes not like most receptionist where they make u feel like your just some money walking in and out she makes sure ur ok, she makes sure u feel ok and she will make sure when u leave ur comfortable and feeling great!

Poor customer service. I got no response to my emails and on the day of my appointment they tell me I need to reschedule. Masivo rather make excuses then tackle a tattoo that doesn’t involve stencils. So many solutions that could have made it a pleasant experience....they took none.I arrived on time for my appointment. I Should’ve got my deposit back. Just left empty handed with a bitter taste in my mouth. Never again.

I recently got a tattoo done on my forearm by Ease. This was my first time there, being recommended by my brother who also got a tattoo done here by ease as well. It came out amazing and the prices are reasonable. Will continue to go to ease to get my sleeve done.

I just had my eyebrow pierced, and it barely hurt. Eclipse was the performing technician. I felt like I was in a room filled with mystics and magic. I sat down, the chair was comfy, and he explained to me what he was going to do. Everything had an artistic touch to it, including the font on the after-care leaflet. It was beautiful!

Any time I come here, I feel like Im at home. I appreciate everyone in this building that is dedicated, professional, and just an absolute joy to be around. I truly love my ink family and will continue to support them forever and always. Super clean, super professional, and just great people to spend some time with. Keep killing it guys!

I got a bunch of stuff done by EASE when I was 18 that I now have to re-do and cover up by a better artist. He has a certain style that hes good at such as shading because hes a graffiti guy, but the details of the sharks and Greek god he inked on my arm are embarrassingly bad, honestly looks like a toddler drew one of the sharks fins and the god has the wrong amount of fingers. My gf begged me to have a cover-up tattoo done. The text on my collarbone is slightly crooked, but he did an alright job on a grateful dead style tattoo on my shoulder but it was very simple. If you want simple and CHEAP (like I said I was 18), he can get it done but if you want a good tattoo.. look elsewhere.(Sorry Ease, youre a good dude but after having more work done by real artists I saw how bad the stuff you did on me actually is. This was a long time ago though, hopefully you got better man but I was young and naive and got completely screwed)

I came to Blackwork a week after facing the untimely death of my baby sister. Everyone there was very sympathetic, welcoming and kind throughout the entire process. Nat was able to taking my late sister’s handwriting and turn it into a beautiful piece of art I am proud to carry in her memory. Thank you, Blackwork!

Im sixteen I got my industrial bar here.The lady at the front desk was very welcoming kept a conversation going while I waited to get my industrial bar piercing done she was very helpful. I got my piercing done by eclipse yesterday loved him so nice and very funny he keeps your mind off what going on and once he starts he tells u ahead of time when he is going to pierce ur ear very nice guy totally recommend this place.

The lady at the front desk wasnt very welcoming but other than that I witnessed my piercer clean and sterilize EVERYTHING properly.. TWICE which made me very happy and he was very friendly. Loved it! Hoping to go back soon for another one.

This place employs my favorite and only tattoo artist that I trust with my skin, Evil Rob. Rob is a very good person to be around especially for hours a session. He is observant and easy to talk to. His drawings make your visions come to life on paper and that paper image gets replicated onto your skin without a flaw. He is simply amazing. I have social anxiety with new people but Rob just has a way to make you feel like youve been friends forever. Other than the artist being amazing, the place is very cleanly and organized. The staff members are very observant and helpful as well. They told us to go around 3pm and so we did. But when I got there told me the artists were busy and to come on Monday. Taking my money someplace else. Plenty tattoo shops in the area

Very unfriendly & unprofessional I took my 6 month old baby to get her ears pierced , I called the day before to make sure they were able to do it (was clear and specified that my baby was 6 month )and the receptionist stated they were able to do it . Once we were in the shop they told me they needed the birth certificate , I then returned with the birth certificate and they told me they couldnt do it because the baby needed to be 9 months a old . They completely wasted our time . The staff clearly have no clue what they are doing or informing people .

Got an ok tattoo last month and am having it touched up elsewhere bc Blackwork lacks the skill and out of the box thinking that take a tattoo from good to amazing.Artists were also super unprofessional and pervy.

I went in here to aquire about getting a new piercing and the women at the front desk was super rude, the place looked really dirty and they shoved me in a small room filled with like 7 other sweating people just to see the piercer to see if he could pierce the spot i wanted. place was completely unprofessional and not very welcoming.

The shop was clean the artists were friendly and inviting and very professional. Hazel is a great artist and she will be taking my money from here on out

Just got done with nat cruze and she is amazing I love my tattoo if u are looking for amazing black and gray go to her.

The only shop I go to for my art and piercings. Never had any issues with any work done by their staff, and they are all very helpful if you have any questions.
