Electric Rodeo Tattoo

This was my first time getting a tattoo. My first rodeo. LoL Hope was awesome, she explained everything to me, told me what to expect and offered to stop to give me breaks. It did not hurt as bad as I thought it would. Just a minor sting that dissipated as soon as she stopped. I got my tattoo in honor of my eldest sister who died last month. 💔I will return to Electric Rodeo Tattoo for my second that Im already planning. Thank you Hope! ❤️

My mom and I went on a whim to get a tattoo for my grandpa, her dads birthday. Unfortunately we had to bring my toddler and 3 month old.( I dont recommend doing this but we had already planned to take shifts with the kids outside so we didnt distrub anyone but my toddler played on his switch and my other one slept so it wasnt bad) Let me tell you this shop is one of the nicest shops Ive been too! Im not just talking about on the inside I am also talking about the people! Every person that walked in was so friendly! A lady helped us get settled while we waited for an artist to come in! I so sorry I forgot her name and Bob was the one who did mine and my moms tattoo and they look fabulous!!! I will recommend this shop 100x to anyone!! Thank you so much for taking us!

Came in randomly to ask about pricing, and Bob was very friendly and professional. He gave me a price and told me he could do it now or schedule an appointment, so i did it then right away. Love the results will be going back. Definitely recommend Bob

This location is no longer electric rodeo tattoo. It is now called Pride and Joy tattoo. I had 2 tats done by George. Great guy. Knows his stuff, very professional. All the tattoo artist I spoke with were very professional. I will be going there again to have a cover up done. I highly recommend Pride and Joy tattoo and yes they are open. I believe their hours are from noon to 8 or 10pm and closed on Sundays.

Got a Bart yesterday from Texas Bob. His line work is amazing as is his shading. Incredible personality and great conversationalist. Definitely recommend. Also he was very quick to state what was out of his specialty and pass a tattoo off to another artist which is admirable as hell!Then today I got all 5 characters from Bob’s Burgers in one sitting with Sparks. Words can’t even begin to explain my love for these tattoos. Line work is crisp as lettuce, the shading and shadowing is way more than I could ever have hoped for. And he is also an absolute joy to be around as well. Can’t wait to have him finish my cartoon sleeve!Also yesterday, Sparks did an anatomical heart on my friends sleeve that was way beyond expectations. Absolutely stunning!

I went in for a walk-in and even though there were people before me, I got a call back and was quickly in the chair getting work done. Sparks was such a pleasure to work with; friendly, professional, and very helpful with design adjustments/placement suggestions. I will totally be going back! Love my new little tattoo!

Went in and caught them at a busy time, but because I wanted something small and simple, they took me right away! Super easy process, and they made sure it was exactly the size and shape I wanted it before starting. Zero issues afterwards, the whole place is extremely clean! Great people every time Ive walked in and talked to them, could not be happier! Cant wait to finally decide on my next tattoo so I can go back!

Theyre friendly and welcoming. Im not too experienced of a tattoo person (got my 2nd [w/Bob] and 3rd now [w/Matt]) but they made me feel comfortable, all around. And my first with them healed very well and pretty quickly :) Definitely recommend and would go back if I were to get more

I received a second tattoo from this establishment and could not have been happier. Sparks is an amazing and very talented artist. Everyone is so nice as well as professional. I am a huge Texas Longhorn fan. I got a Bevo that said Texas Fight!!! He made it pop with excellent shading and color!!! My husband and I will definitely be back!!!! This place is by far my favorite and a convenient location.

Had a scheduled appointment that was delayed. This would have been fine with me, as I know some tats take longer than you’d hope, but my appointment was delayed 3 hours and my artist couldn’t care less that I sat at the shop for 3 hours waiting. Then I finally get in the chair... like I said before, I understand that some tats take longer than you’d hope, but this artist charged an hourly rate and made sure I sat in that chair as long as possible to collect every last dime from me. The all over result of my tattoo is good, not great, which is extremely disappointing given that I am now out more money than it was worth and spent damn near an entire day sitting in this tattoo shop. I do not recommend!

Honestly the best place Ive gotten tattooed! Been going there for over a year, always seen Bob or Aura. Everyone there does amazing work, has their own unique style, and are very friendly. I always go there knowing that theyll turn my idea into something super cool! I dont think Ill be going to another shop in Austin!

Bob is great for my first time getting tattoo

My wife and I went in for a couples tattoo. Right away we were greeted. The shop is bright and clean! Ollie and Chris were awesome. Great, quality work. We are both so happy! We will definitely be back!

My walk in experience was great but I scheduled an appointment and the day of the appointment the artist had accidentally “double booked” himself and told me that he was almost done and to come back about 5 hours later. The problem was when I came back he said he still wasn’t done and wanted to schedule for another day. I was never even able to see updated sketches which just leads me to believe it wasn’t even being worked on when it was supposed to. I would recommend just doing small walk-in pieces and not bothering to get larger custom pieces done.

Great experience at Electric Rodeo in Lockhart, TX. Got a tattoo by Scott Harris. Very professional, fast and clean work. Did exactly what I wanted and more. Walked in with an idea and he had every thing made and ready to go the next day. Will definitely have my next tattoo done by Scott at Electric Rodeo. Thanks man!

The experience was pretty good me and my friend went in around 9 and they were able to tattoo both of us. My only complaints were my friend wanted her tattoo with a colored ribbon and he flat out told her if she really wanted it that way he wouldnt do it cuz of integrity,and she had to change her design completely...the ribbon meant something for her...At the end of the day this is customer service do what she wants or at least offer her another artist. My own personal complaint is he quoted me for my tatt...drew it and tatted it..then complained about what he quoted....HE SET THE PRICE! I ended up giving him more cuz i felt bad...Other than that both tatts came out great...and we love them

Great place to get tattoo! I went with two co-workers and the staff was fun, talented, and professional. I had an idea of what I wanted, but needed direction. I told Matt and he created exactly what I had been wanting! I love it- And good price too!

I went in to ask a few questions and they gave me an email to one of their artists (aura I believe). I email him twice with no response! How can you run a business if you don’t respond to your clients. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Very unprofessional and will not be going back. I found some very nice artists in San Marcos, so I will be going there from now on.

I love this shop, i have gotten all my austin tattoos here and will continue to do so. Matt is awesome, he did an amazing job designing my tattoo! Would highly recommend!

Overpriced. Said what I wanted (color)wasnt possible, charged me 200 for basic black letters. I believed what they told me because it was my first tattoo, but shortly after I met someone who had exactly what they told me they couldnt do, and they got it for a much better price. Will never go back.

Got tattooed by Ian and I could not be happier with how it turned out. Incredible art, incredible talent, and the atmosphere was very inviting and relaxed. I will be returning for another one soon!

Bob is a visionary. A true artist. He made a tattoo from 1981 look like new. Its unreal. He is very professional and goes above and beyond to make it perfect. Ill be back.

With a quick visit to Austin to see what all the talk about weird is....and BAM!! Ended up with my favorite tattoo so far! Highly recommend!! New me, new tat, new memories, new walk of life!!

Everyone was super judgmental and did not want to do what I wanted with each picture I showed them. They did not want to help me schedule (said he was booked for months) & is against tattoos that are different colors besides black.

These guys were awesome and very patient with me when it came to the style of my tattoo. Hunter did one for me and Bradley did my biggest piece and I love them both.

Great shop, great people. Of all the shops Ive been in (and Ive been in quite a few all over the globe) these guys are super welcoming. The shop has a very classic feel and a very warm vibe.

I went in for my first tattoo on 3/15/18 no one acknowledged me when I got there and when the guy at the front helped me he was super rude and made me feel really uncomfortable. Horrible experience for what could have been my first tattoo

I went to get a tribute tattoo for my son and it was twice what it cost in san marcos. They were very polite. Just expensive.

I went in with my own, yet incomplete drawing and they did the rest. I couldnt be happier with the service, artwork and over all experience.
