Surreal Ink Tattoo & Body Piercing

I got my second eyebrow pierced here as an introduction to the shop in becoming an apprentice. The piercer carefully placed it to be symmetrical with my other one and it turned out great. Still have to downsize soon so the bar doesn’t poke out as far as it does but now learning there and knowing the cleanliness and organizational standards, I can confidently say this is the best place to get tattooed and pierced at and plan on getting any future ones here.

Bridger did my nostril piercing and was super clean!! Would recommend anyone and everyone to him!! Hes a really kind and nurturing guy. I plan on coming back to get more done!! He also switched out my conch piercing to a hoop!!

We had an incredibly positive experience with Tyler! I brought my eight-year-old daughter to get her ears pierced. As far as I could find on their website, theyll do piercings for minors fourteen and older, but when I called to inquire just in case, they informed me that they do first time lobe piercings for minors five years and older.Tyler was very professional, friendly and patient with us. He did an excellent job helping my daughter feel comfortable; he explained everything he was doing and showed her the tools he was using. The whole process went pretty quickly and relatively drama-free! (A far cry from when I took her elder sister to Claires several years ago.)My eldest daughter (fifteen) had planned to get her second lobe piercings, but when she sat in the chair after having watched her younger sister, she decided she wasnt sure she was ready and changed her mind about getting them done that day. Tyler was so kind and supportive of her decision. (She has since decided that she is ready after all and well be scheduling her appointment soon.)I also got a piercing during our visit—a stud in my left nostril. Tyler did an excellent job of making sure the placement was just right. He showed me with the measuring hoop how awesome it will look when I switch to a small hoop after healing. It was a little red immediately afterward, but that went away within about an hour. It looks great, though, and I love it!Weve had very little discomfort and both of our piercings are healing quie nicely. Im so glad we went to Tyler to get our piercings done! Hes very good at what he does. I would definitely recommend him for piercings.

I got a helix piercing, I feel bad for not asking what her name was but the person who did it for me was so kind! She made me feel really comfortable even though my heart was beating so fast because I was so nervous! I really liked how clean and sterile everything was. I had gone into a different place that smelled so strongly of smoke and it just did not give me good vibes. Surreal was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. I’m excited to have this piercing and they gave me directions on how to clean it and take care of it as it heals😊 Super professional!

Went in for a 3 helix piercing (flat was what I told it to be); the time it took to get done was fast & it wasnt as painful as I thought it to be or what a lot of people made it out to be.Personally, I didnt care too much for the walk through of instructions since Im the type to wing it and risk it 😂🤣; which I had a few questions concerning after care and if I needed to down size my earring once it heals, but thats all I had concerned and it was answered.I ended up loving my bottom 2 helix, my top one... not so much, but you know... as it heals and I am able to swap the earrings out... who knows? Maybe I will love it more. Only time will tell. I just personally felt like my top piercing felt like it was pierced differently from the markings made that I agreed to.Overall, would I go here again? Hm... if I end up loving my top helix down the road, yes... I definitely would absolutely come back here for my next piercing and add the extra star I believe it may deserve.

Went and saw tylor and Emma for some piercings. The whole experience was amazing! He was really quick and efficient with the piercings and was really clear about what i could expect. I was really nervous and both did a good job of helping ease my nerves. As an add on they were really cool to help me with a last minute request for help fixing a piercing I had gotten prior to scheduling with Tyler. They got me set up with a better quality earing to help make sure it healed better.Communication was really easy leading up to me making the appointment and I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking at getting piercings and i will continue to go there for other piercings i want in the future

Great experience. I went there to get help for an infection and the person who helped me was super friendly. I dont live in this area but if I did I would definitely go there again for another piercing (or tattoo).

Tyler pierced my bellybutton & thirds on my lobes, I love how it turned out and even though I was nervous it barely felt like a pinch!

I didn’t have a great experience here trying to get pierced. I felt super anxious, didn’t feel supported, the clamp hurt like HELL and the placement didn’t seem right so I left. I went to another piercer in Logan who actually checked the anatomy in my nose first and suddenly the clamp didn’t hurt at all, i didn’t feel sick, and i felt lots less nervous. Also, I’m not sure why but there was broken glass on the windowsill of the room I was in. Overall, it was fairly clean and nice inside but the staff weren’t very good at dissuading my fears or helping me feel like I wasn’t a burden for being nervous and also didn’t check for the “sweet spot” on my septum before putting the clamp on.

This whole experience was fantastic! The staff was all very kind. I got my ears pierced by Tylor. He was very professional. He walked me through the entire process step by step and made sure I was feeling okay. My piercings look great. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to get piercings!

Got my first tattoo here from Bridger. He was so great given that the placement was on my ribcage which naturally hurts, and Im a squirmer with pain. The tattoo healed up great and his lining is on point. I highly recommend them to everyone who asks me about a tattoo in logan. He has amazing line work.

Today i went in to get my septum and bellybutton piercing done. bridger was extremely clean and timely, he made it as pain free as possible. i genuinely am not even sore from my septum he got it right in the sweet spot. next time im getting a piercing im absolutely going to bridger thank you for the amazing piercings!

I just got a double helix piercing and I don’t know who did it but he did an AMAZING job. I could tell that he’s super experienced. He placed the marks perfectly. He pierced pretty quickly and precisely too. He pierced them ✨exactly✨ the way I wanted. I immediately would put my full trust in him because he knows what he’s doing. Probably will come again.

Bridger is a great dude. He is super professional but makes you feel really comfortable. Scheduling is super easy and he can get you in so fast. I got a daith and helix piercing and it was quick, easy, and comfortable. I got a lobe piercing about a year ago and it healed really well. I do wish there was a larger variety of jewelry for the initial piercing but its worth it go to Surreal Ink to have a quality piercing. Definitely would recommend.

I took both my teens in for second lobe piercings at the beginning of September. I was very nervous about the healing process per they both had terrible times healing from their first piercings. What a completely different experience to have a professional do the job! Not a single sign of infection. No swelling. And they look perfect. Bridger was very genuine and kind to my kids and set them up for success with great aftercare instructions and and cleanser. The shop was clean and private and he really made the whole experience perfect. Definitely recommend and we’ll definitely go back!

I had a great experience there. The shop was clean and had a nice vibe. I loved the music playing in the background, it helped calm my nerves. I didnt get names but both the guys there were cool and friendly. The guy who did my piercing was nice and explained everything to me. A long overdue review, I dont know why I hadnt done this sooner but I visited this place while at their old location about a year ago and it was such a great experience! Having had plenty of time with the parlor industry, I can fairly say this is an all-time favorite! The vibes of the shop were extra rad and all of the staff were super friendly, my piercer (I wish I could remember who he was) really careful with my septum piercing! Prices were legit and he even offered me aftercare spray in the easiest bottle/applicator Ive ever put my hands on! 10/10 would recommend this place for all your body mod needs!

I got a naval piercing on my bday and it was the best experience Ive had with a service style company. Tylor was super fast and efficient with setting up and explaing everything to me in detail. He was very gentle and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. As a young woman I felt completely safe in the shop which is a big deal for me personally. I had an awesome experience at Surreal Ink! The shop is clean and well-kept. Bridger and his staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and I felt completely comfortable. Bridger checked the placement of the markings several times before doing the piercing (upper lobes) to ensure they were evenly spaced and placed well. They gave me info about how to best care for my piercings on a card to take home and told me exactly where to go in the Valley to get the stuff I needed. I highly reccommend them.

Very clean and professional setup, tucked away on a quiet street. Both Tyler and Bridger were incredibly helpful when I interacted with them, and their help with piercing aftercare has really made a difference. If you find a piece of jewelry you like theyll even process and sanitize it for you so you dont end up with any complications. I will definitely go here for any further piercings and ink I get.

I had a jewelry emergency for my nostril piercing 1.5 months after I had it pierced somewhere else. Tyler was amazing! He squeezed me in,changed out the defective jewelry, got me set up and gave me much more thorough after care instructions. He was super kind and did all of that without badmouthing the piercer I originally went to. Will definitely be heading back to Surreal for any piercing needs!

I made an appointment for a piercing and Bridger had an opening for the next day. The shop is in an older house, but it is very clean and nice looking! I thought the dark green paint on the outside was so pretty. Bridger was very kind and professional, and he took covid guidelines seriously (distancing and wearing a mask the whole time). He answered all my questions and helped me pick the placement of my double helix. He helped me get set up with aftercare, too. He let me go at my own pace.I’ve gotten ear piercings from there in the past and they healed beautifully.The shop itself is very clean and welcoming. To add, Bridger has a great eye for eveness and is very precise with his measurements (and I’m picky). I had been struggling with my nose piercing for over 6 months (that I did back when I lived in another state), but all I had to do was go to Surreal Ink Tattoos & Body Piercing and Tyler fixed it for me. It didnt take me a week to go back and get 3 new piercings. I think that for piercings, this place may not be the cheapest, but for service, I think it is 100% worth it. Tyler is extremely welcoming and professional. I recommend this place and will go back.

I’ve gotten a few piercings from surreal and each one has taken twice the amount of time needed to heal to due to an improper way of piercing. the jewelry supplied for new piercings is also cheap and caused infections and irritation bumps. the most recent piercing I received from there was a septum that ended up getting pierced at a slant, halfway through the cartilage, halfway through where it is supposed to be. Every other person I have talked to who has gotten piercings from here have had similar issues, some costing up to $300 to fix and some putting them in the ER with very severe infections. The people here are pretty nice but I would recommend taking business elsewhere if a proper piercing is desired.

Bridger did a great job on my tragus piercing! I felt very comfortable, he was really nice and I haven’t had any issues with the piercing at all. Additionally, I thought he was priced really well considering how professional he was and how nicely the piercing is healing. Will definitely go back to him in the future!

The last time I had my ears pierced, I was 3 months old. Bridger did an amazing job making me feel comfortable and explaining exactly what was going on. He was super friendly too! They are by appointment only so call or text Bridger and he will get back to you to set up the consultation this is where you share you ideas that you would like incorporated into your art work. Bridger is a great listener and commentator if there is something that might not look right with your idea he will help you come up with solutions. You should always take the artist feedback they do this for a living and can help you prevent making a permanent mistake. After you agree on the design you put down a deposit and schedule your session. My Tattoo took 3 session and it turned out Amazing . The pricing was very good especially when you take into account the many hours of drawing that goes into each custom piece. You get what you pay for and Bridger adds a lot of value. The environment was clean and well taken care of.I will definitely be coming back for more work soon. Thanks I love my Tattoo.

Bridger and Tylor both texted me back quickly and were able to get us in the same day to fix my daughters ear. We came here after having an infection in one ear and the earring being embedded in my daughters ear. It was a little scary for her. They were so nice and kind and made her feel comfortable. They were gentle and we are SUPER impressed. I would recommend them to anyone looking for piercings or the like.

My piercer, Bridger, was super nice as he explained to me how he was going to go about my piercing in the best way for my personal anatomy, I got my navel pierced here today. He also had some cool music playing in the background which eased my nerves. He was calm and collected throughout and I love my new piercing!

I had an amazing experience with Magdalena today. I went in to get a quote for two different tattoos Ive been wanting to get done. After I showed her what I wanted she told me she happened to have time right then due to a last minute reschedule. I became even impressed with her as she took the time to make sure we the lettering exactly perfect. She even checked the spelling with me 5 or 6 times to be completely sure. She also gave me her advice on rib placement so I wouldnt have to worry about my bra rubbing during the healing process. (Ladies youll appreciate that trust me) Then she proceeded to do some of the cleanest line work on lettering I have seen, and by far the best I have tattooed on me. She and Bridger then looked over the tattoo several times to make sure every bit was perfect. The attention to detail is something I had never experienced before. She did the same quality of work on my second piece. I walked out knowing I have found my new artist for as long as she stays in the valley, which I hope is forever. And since I know everyone looks for this, the pricing is more than fair and extremely competitive, especially for the quality of work being done.

I recently had an excellent experience at Surreal Ink. Ive had two tattoos before and sought out my third here. The artist Bridger was very professional--note that he prefers that all persons schedule a consultation first and put down a $60 deposit, which is just good business management. He was able to take my description of what I wanted and translated it perfectly. The shop is low-overhead but clean, cost was very fair by comparison to my other tattoos. I had zero issues with my tattoo healing and am very pleased with its appearance. I would definitely refer friends to this shop.

Got my second lobe piercing here from Bridger. So awesome! He was running late and had to have me come an hour later than my appointment was scheduled for which was totally fine with me. He was very apologetic and kind about it possibly being an inconvenience. Very nice guy who knows what he’s doing!!

Went in about two and half weeks ago to get pierced above my gauges on my lob. Tyler used standard size bars and they weren’t long enough and on one ear he did not pierce it straight so it pulled my earring and started creating pressure and the earring was digging into my ear and I could not clean it. I had to take that earring out day two. Then the right earring wouldn’t heal because the bar isn’t long enough- I cleaned it daily and couldn’t clean behind my ear because it was so tight. I called and he told me he uses the standard size bar for EVERY piercing. Makes no sense everyone should be gauged differently and as a professional piecer I would expect that to be handled and gauged when doing the piercing. I am not from that area so I cannot just go back in. I have been brushed off. Not pleased

It was very clean! Tylor re-pierced one of my first lobe piercings and both of my 2nd lobe piercings. It hardly hurt, everything was sterile, and he had a welcoming attitude that helped ease my worries about the needles etc. Definitely recommend!

I got my second lobe piercing here and Im really happy with it! Im super allergic to lots of metals so Ive been pleasantly surprised to see that my piercings have been completely fine since I got them! it wasnt super painful, but I have a high pain tolerance and it was a lobe piercing so it was unlikely to hurt too bad, I wasnt worried at all about germs, they were very careful about sterilization, and the atmosphere was great as well!

Bridger was awesome! I was super nervous about getting my nostril piercing because Im TERRIFIED of needles, but he calmly walked me through the process, and then when he actually did the piercing, it was done within 10 seconds. I didnt even have time to get scared.

Took my 9 year old to get her ears pierced by Tylor. He was very professional and informative. He was sure to get very even piercings between the two ears. After the first ear, my daughter was nervous to get the second. Tylor was able to talk her through it calmly and kindly. Both my daughter and I are very happy with the piercings and the experience!

Tylor was great! Very professional. I got in for an appointment within a day. (Helpful so I couldnt think about it too much) He explained everything step by step. All jewelry is sterilized surgical grade titanium. His instruments were sealed from being sterilized in an autoclave. The piercing was fast and not as painful as I was dreading it was going to be. He uses a needle not a gun. Tylor explained all the after care and answered all my questions. He is very knowledgeable about what he does. So happy about my whole experience. Got my first tattoo done here and it was a great experience all around! Cami came up with a beautiful design exactly what I had envisioned. She was happy to do an allergy test for me when I feared I might be allergic to the ink. I had no negative reaction to the ink and the tattoo healed beautifully. Im so happy with it! Mo is a awesome piercer. Went in to get the Daith piercing in both ears for migraines, it has now been 4 months and no migraines, I have been able to quit my preventative medication and my migraine medication. I still get small headaches but can get rid of them with 1 pill quickly. Got them done for my daughter n law who had a migraine at the time we did it and by time she was done her migraine was gone. Strongly recommend this for anyone with migraines. And Mo is the best to do it. Very attentive to you and your needs.

Girlfriend went for a nose piercing. Bridger put in too short of a piercing and her nose was swelling to the point it was almost over the stud. When she called to ask if he could help her out with putting a new longer piercing in he replied with something along the lines of not my problem after you leave the shop . In my mind if you do a job for someone and something isnt right you should make it right. Wouldnt recommend going there, I know we wont be back..we went somewhere else to fix the piercing and he ended up taking it out because it was put in crooked

I went and got my nose peircing on April 16 and I dont remember the peircers name but he was AMAZING! He was very calm, explaied everything he was doing, and he was super kind to me that made me less nervous. I 10000% recommend this place. It is a very cool place and the employees are amazing. Would never have gone anywhere else but here for a peircing.

Absolutely the worst place to go for piercings! Very unsanitary and unprofessional behavior. My piercing was crooked and would not heal properly. I had another piercer from iris piercing down in salt lake look at it and told me he would repierce me for free since my other one was crooked. Surreal also had no choices for jewelry. One option and he lied to me about the size gage. While piercing me, my jewelry fell out before he screwed the ball on and, so he ended up doing it all over again which caused a lot of unnecessary pain. Do not go here!!!! Iris has taken great care of me time and time again. Definitely worth the drive to salt lake.

I walked into Surreal Ink not knowing what to expect since my boyfriend scoped them out and made us an appointment. I was getting a white tattoo which if done incorrectly or using the wrong kind of ink can turn out not so great. But my artist reassured me that he had done a white tattoo before and was educated on the process. I could not be happier with how it turned out! He even retouched my other tattoo for a great price. Unprofessional, sketchy, untalented. Three words that best define surreal ink and the work done in this shop. This shop seems like the perfect place to get a drunken mistake done. A crooked piercing resulting in another PROFESSIONAL piercer elsewhere reduing the work for no cost. Ever heard of an autoclave? Instead they are using spray bottles to disinfect their tools. Hope they refill those things every hour cause even the best sanitation solution breaks down in water. After four hours, youre spraying water. I wouldnt allow any of my friends to go to surreal. If you have an appointment scheduled, cancel. You will not regret the decision to go elsewhere. You will regret surreal ink.

Best place Ive ever been too. the guy explained everything very well and made me feel really comfortable. he made sure the piercing were in the right place and checked again multiple times.i got a belly button and a cartilage piercing and neither hurt. the guy opened up all the packaging in front of me and eased my fear of cross contamination.

I had a great experience here! The guy that did my piercing definitely knew what he was doing. My only complaint is that for the 5th piercing on my ear, he didnt mark it first and freehanded it, as a result it is the teeniest bit off. adds personality to it so its still great. He hooked me up with an amazing discount too and is hes pretty funny so thats a plus.

Bridger did a great job. He did not dig the needle to deep what so ever. While we were taking a break for a minute he even wrapped up my arm while I was going out for a smoke. He was very precise and I could tell he was deeply in to his art work. I would definitely suggest going and getting some ink done here

My wife got a piercing here, intending to only get a couple but was pressured and up-sold to get two more than she’d planned. Total lack of informed consent, if he’d had more integrity he would have let her know about how much additional pain and hassle came with those extra piercings.

I had my seconds pierced and a helix piercing done here. All 3 piercings have healed terribly. I ended up taking out my helix piercing after allowing it to heal for 18 months (I am now left with a bump on my ear even though the hole closed). My next piercer told its because they pierced it improperly (at an angle instead of directly through the cartilage). Ive kept my seconds and even though Ive done everything right they still are enlarged and bumpy. I cant speak for their tattoos, but if you want to get a piercing- I do not recommend this place.

Im extremely happy with the tattoo that Bridger did for me. It felt like he was really passionate about doing good work instead of just getting it done, which was comforting. All of the artists there are fun and easy going. Its a clean, friendly environment.

Honestly this place was good they were nice and friendly. Glad for the people where there piercings worked out. I had bad luck and my piercing didnt. I got my nose pierced and 4 days later I woke up and nose was so swollen and infected and had to take out my piercing out. They were nice enough after my bad review to reach out and talk to me about it. Wish it could have worked out.

Had my daith in both ears pierced. Im hoping itll help with my migraines. Mo was awesome and efficient. I was very please with my visit and felt the price was very reasonable. I would recommend to everyone!

I wish that I could give this zero stars. I went here because the apprentice here is badass and can draw. Shes really talented. I was super impressed. So I wanted to do another one. I called and scheduled it. Unfortunately, the owner of the shop decided that they were going to do walk-ins instead. I got canceled. I was a little angry at that moment in time. Plus, I was not told that they would need a deposit in order to be scheduled. So naturally, I wanted to reschedule. I did and was told to bring in a deposit. I made arrangements to do that. But then I got canceled again due to the apprentice having a family emergency. Which I totally get. Life happens. I messaged the owner and asked what he can do for me so we could get this resolved and he said, Excuse me, Are you sure you have the right shop? Who exactly did you schedule with? My name is Bridger, I am the owner over here. Im certain if you had put down a deposit or scheduled with us I would know who you are. Im sorry your having problems but this is not the conduct of the artists at Surreal°. Please address your mix up. So I said, Magdali. She did my skull. I was going to bring in a deposit on Thursday. She said that was fine. The first time, she didnt tell me to bring a deposit. It got canceled because she said you told her to just do walk ins. Then, he just sent a thumbs up emoji. So I just said, Never mind. Im not coming back. Thanks anyway. And he said, Sounds good. You should be more patient unless you actually want to pay someone who has experience tattooing. Good luck. At this point, Im not mad about being rescheduled and canceled. Im mad that I was not explained what comes with having an apprentice do your tattoo. I was not told I had to come into the store to schedule. I assumed I could just message her on Facebook and schedule that way. Im just frustrated at how disrespectful he was. I asked him in the first place what he could do for me, and explained why I was feeling frustrated and how the situation was not fair. But he didnt make any effort to help me out. He was rude and disrespectful. Bridger and Magdali are hella good artists. But I dont respect them and I dont like how they treat me. I dont recommend this shop to anyone.

Cami is one of the most down to earth and easy going people I have ever met! Throughout the whole experience she was very understanding and listened to everything I had to say.To me getting a tattoo is alot more than what is just left on your skin. The front of the house/building was beautiful especially the archeway. When we went inside it was decorative in a dark way (like a cool edgy way with skulls of animals amd stuff).They were really nice and they gave me good information. The warned me beforehand and it helped prepare me for the slight pain in my lip. It was clean and fast and I love the piercing so much.There was slight swelling as expected and when I needed to change my bar to longer they answered back the next day at 6 am (this was yesterday) they didnt charge me for the bar exchange which was an added bonus and my lip feels so much better!!! 10/10

Ok so I have an extremely bad headache for the last 3.5 weeks. Tried meds, acupuncture, massage, and rest... Nothing helped. Have had migraines for years and even had trigger point injections... That helped but the headache always comes back... So got the balls up to get my daith pierced today. First side nausea gone. Second side no headache. I cant believe just how fast I got relief. Its totally unreal. I was worried it was going to hurt to have done but Mo was amazing. Totally made me comfortable and informed me every step of the way... Quick ,easy and the pain was minimal. Thank you so much. I will keep you informed on progress and if it continues to work. Cuz if it does I will recommend you and it to everyone I know. You rock. I have hours of work done on my body, I came here because I had heard pretty good things about the work others had done. I am not impressed. My tattoo came out severely scarred and blown out. I know how to care for my tattoos and Im so disappointed at how this one turned out. Ill stick to letting more experienced artists take care of my ink.

I could not get to my normal artist. I woke up one morning and had to get a meaningful tat.By chance and the help of Google i came across these guys. I explained my story and the importance of the tat i wanted. He was going to leave for the day, he told me to come in.Not only did my tat turn out AMAZING, they did not think about thensekves and going home for the day.He took the time to listen to me and help create the art i desired to express myself that same day.It wasnt about earning a buck that day. It was taking the time to help someone to be able to express themselves through art.
