INCREDIBLE people. I will never use another piercer than Candi. She knowledge and caring. My daughter and I both have various piercings done here and they are the best. I also recently received a tattoo by her that I very happy with. This is a family run business and not like any other shop I have been to. You could probably eat off the floors it’s so clean, I mean don’t, but it’s super clean. They don’t steer you the wrong way. They have an array of talents. My husband just got a logo for his business created and printed here as well! Highly recommend!

I have gotten several tattoos with Candi. I also bought some nose jewelry. I was very impressed and pleased with their professionalism, the quality of my tattoos and the quality of their nose jewelry. Not just tattoos and piercings!!!I discovered that NOTW in Loganville, creates beautiful crafts. I inquired (embarrassingly, pretty last minute) about having a custom made sign done for my Halloween cemetery. Candi agreed to the project and created a sign that was simply incredible! Because it was last minute I told her to go simple, no need to get crazy. That apparently is not in her nature!! The details she put into the sign are gorgeous. I can only imagine the beautiful art she creates for tattoos!! Both she and Brian are wonderful people. The shop is clean and inviting. I highly recommend Not of This World Tattoos & Piercing!

I stopped by NOTW for some cleaning products for my ear piercing that I got from another artist. I was greeted by the artist(Candy) and the hospitality sold me instantly! Candy gave me advice and examined my piercings although she did not pierce my ears, she also gave me cleaning and upkeep literature. Candy advised me to return in about 4-6wks to change out my jewelry.. When I tell you this Tattoo/Piercing studio is everything I could ever look for ie clean, well stocked, privacy, knowledgeable owners, and hospitality was 5star. Thank you Candy & Brian for being so freaking entertaining & patient with me. I have found my new tattoo/piercing studio. Until next time✌🏽

Absolutely love Candi and Brian. I’ve been to the loganville shop 4 times now and every time has been a joy. It’s so clean, welcoming, and always has a great selection of jewelry. Brian is a gem to talk to! I’ve gotten pierced, jewelry changed, and most recently tattooed by Candi. She’s a true professional and amazing at what she does. I was nervous to be getting my first tattoo but she was so reassuring and answered all my silly little questions and helped boost my confidence even when I was complaining about the pain🫣. The vision she had for the tattoo came out amazing and I’m so proud for it to be on my skin. Will definitely be going back for more!

I was so nervous coming in but this place is the BEST and extremely clean!!! Candi pierced my my septum with no issues and her energy is amazing. She told me everything I needed to know and even flipped my septum piercing up for me for work. I’m so happy I went through with it and I’ll definitely be back for any other piercings (or tattoos if I’m feeling fancy). If I could give 10 stars I would.

From consult to execution, everything about Not of This World is incredible. Candi is an amazing artist and the environment is so relaxing and comfortable. She did a five hour piece on my thigh and it came out so much better than I ever could have dreamed. She really did her research when I came to her with my concept and totally blew me out of the water with her work. I absolutely love this place! The owners are great people. I’ve been here 4 or 5 times now to replace a nose piercing because I’m that special of a person. My daughter had also had a piercing done here and every time the place is spotless, all hygiene requirements are in order, pricing is fair and the customer service is spot on friendly and informative. I had been tossing around the idea to get a new tattoo but I hadn’t been tattooed in 15+ years and had no idea where to go. I found NOTW while running errands in Loganville. Although I didn’t stop upon first sight. I went home and researched about the shop and why I had never seen it there before. So I kept an eye on it for a few months. One Friday while being slow I figured I’d stop in and get a feel for it.First impressions mean a lot! I was not disappointed!Candi and Brian have an amazing shop! I think you could eat off the floor!I explained to them what I was wanting but I couldn’t put it all together. Candi told me to send her pictures and schedule an appointment and she would make it happen.To say I was nervous is a understatement but after the first session and now upon completion and healing. My absolute favorite tattoo and piercing place! Candi and her husband are super sweet and informative. Got my septum pierced here when they were located in Stone Mountain and then took my friend here for their first tattoo for their birthday and ended up leaving with a nostril and helix piercing. Their jewelry is top notch and very pretty, and if you like anime there is so much anime decorations around! If you wanna see their huge funko pop collection, get a tattoo.. :)

I cant say enough good things about Not of This World Tattoo & Piercing. I came into their shop with a very basic plan to cover up a tattoo I got when I was a young man (see before image). I knew I wanted something that would reflect my Christian faith but not much else. Candi worked with me to firm up a design that looked great and was a statement of my faith. She went though several iterations of the design before we arrived at the final. The professionalism and artistic skill that she displayed were outstanding. The end result is beautiful and exactly what I wanted as an outcome (see after image). I would highly recommend Not of This World to anyone considering a tattoo. You will not be disappointed with the result. They have earned a loyal repeat customer in me.

I have gotten all but two of my ear piercings here. I currently have 10 done by Candi. The owners, Candi and Brian, are so down to earth, funny, kind, and they care so much about customer experience and satisfaction. Candi makes sure every piercing is perfect and thoroughly goes over aftercare instructions. This is the only place I feel comfortable and well taken care of getting piercings. Thank you NOTW!

I had a wonderful experience here when they were located in stone Mountain! (Theyve recently relocated) . One of the owners assisted me with choosing which nose ring I wanted even though I shared I wasnt ready to purchase, she still took the time to explain the jewelry quality and some of the price differences. I work in the area, so I accidently stumbled upon NOTW. I was in a quasi-desperate search of a piercer who could help me with a septum stretching as my regular piercer was unable to do it. Not only did they have the tools and the talent to do it but did an excellent job as well. Candi and Brian were very knowledgeable and helpful, not to mention, extremely cool and friendly. Thank you Candi for a perfect double nostril piercing! I was nervous about getting it done but Candi has such a calming spirit. She made me feel relaxed. I am more than satisfied with my piercing. I was nervous about it but Candi was super professional and I felt super comfortable with her. The shop was super clean and they were very friendly. I did lose a ball at the gym but had I checked it like Candi instructed me to do. That wouldnt have happened. Thankfully I have other piercings and always have extras on hand so it was an easy fix. I will definitely recommend them and be back for future services.

I received a rook and a conch from Candi and it was such a memorable experience. She was so sweet, so professional, knowledgeable, the shop was clean, AND you can choose a cute earring before piercing (which was my favorite part)! It’s everything you would hope for when getting a piercing.I want to add, that it was a quick and painless experience (as painless as it could be with a needle going through your ear), she responded to my email promptly and her licenses are on the wall where you can see them. I drove an hour just to see this girl and I was very pleased with my decision.

Had the pleasure of getting my Tragus pierced. It was the best experience of my twelve ear piercing. Candi was wonderful, and made me feel so at ease. I only got one ear pierced, and I will be going back for the other. I would recommend this place. Went here with my daughter, which made this experience that much more enjoyable. ( it was a birthday gift from her, because I had been talking about it for at least four years)) It was a clean environment, and I felt safe being there.

Candi has always been my tattoo artist for a few years now. Its been a while since I visited her, but I have been feeling for a tattoo so badly, so I think I will be paying her a visit. She is awesome. She always makes ur drawings/tattoo UNIQUE as well.

Candi is amazing! So they didnt do my actual piercing because I didnt know about the shop at the time. But I have been there twice for aftercare for my nose ring. Everytime Ive had an issue with it or I have had any questions they have taken care of me. The shop is very clean and organized. Very punctual and on time with their appointments. I have sent two of my friends there because they have nose rings as well. Definitely should check them out!!

I have multiple large tattoos and this has been my best experience by far. Candi was so awesome and listened to every request I had and accommodated wonderfully. She even has the integrity to admit when something won’t work or might not look quite right. Her technique was amazing and most of the tattoo felt painless. I will be going back to her to get my other tattoos fixed that other artists messed up cause I know she can make them right. 10/10 perfect experience and I will be returning soon.

Wonderful shop with an even more wonderful owner! Ive been coming here for years and have never been disappointed in Candis work. Shes done 9 out of 10 of my tattoos, I dont trust anyone else! The shop is always clean and the prices are very fair. Either Candi or her husband Brian will always answer emails within a very decent amount of time. I absolutely love this family-owned business I have a double piercing in my nose and they did both of them, the wife is so light handed knowledgeable and very friendly. They are such a great team. I had to reschedule my appointment because something came up and they rescheduled me without any complaints. The facility is so clean and fresh. This is my new favorite piercing shop in Atlanta! I originally came in because Id had trouble finding a new hoop nose ring. The owner said I couldnt find one that fit because my piercing was in the wrong place. After having this piercing for 15 years, someone finally explained why it was so hard to find jewelry that fit! I trusted her immediately and came back to get my nose re-done with a new ear piercing. Ill be back for more, and I highly recommend you come in too!

Went in for a small cover up tat. Candi was AMAZING!!!’ Love this place. Nothing pretentious. Also got a cute ear piercing while I was there. She is unbelievably welcoming and friendly and I was thrilled with my results for both my tattoo and my piercing. She’s moving out of the area next year sadly so go see her while you can!

This woman canceled our appointment because she said I pushed every last one of her buttons because I tried to negotiate a price that I feel was overpriced for the work I was asking for. She tried to keep half my deposit. I simply told her I felt it was a high price and asked if she could do it for a lower price. She went off!! Oh, Im not your friend. You have been difficult to work with. I dont do deals. Im not asking for a deal lady! Im asking for a reasonable price. If youre dead set on the price, then Ill have to decide if I want to move forward or not. But she didnt give me that option. Just made the emotional decision to cancel the appointment. I drive trucks and scheduled home time for her tattoos. So for her to do that was pretty lame. She did end up giving me a full refund though. She does do good work just unprofessional and emotional when shes in her feelings.

After much apprehension from fear of pain (although I have 4 tattoos), I went in for a nose piercing today. Candi made me feel very comfortable, as she was professional, but also had an inviting spirit. The process was EXTREMELY quick and painless, outside of a little sting. I have seen Candi for four piercings now in the past which include both tragus’s, an industrial, and a daith. I would not trust anyone more then her to pierce me! She is very professional in the manner of which she sterilizes the site, as well as meticulous with placement. Added bonus is she is always a sweetheart and blast to talk with! Where do I start?! I woke up on my birthday deciding that I wanted a Tat and my initial plan was to walk into a tattoo shop not considering that we are in 2020 and due to everything going on an appt might have to be made. I contacted NOTW Tattoo via the contact form on the website to see if they had any same day available appts. I literally got a response minutes later (less than 10 min) asking me to send in the pic of what I wanted so I did. Initially the 1st tat opt I had in mind was too big to do same day so opt for a smaller option and was able to get in. Candi was amazing! Turns out she fit me in same day to do my bday tat during the 30 min she was supposed to be on her break!!! I arrived the place was great! Covid-19 precautions were in place and made me feel safe. Candi and I were the only two in the room! She knocked my tat out in 30 mins tops and I love it soooo much! I am so grateful! Not to mention the shop is black owned and my tat was done by a woman which is so great to see and experience since Ive never had my tat done by a woman before.definitely returning for more ink! Thank you Candi!!! Ive already recommended 3 people :-)

I went to get my septum pierced and was a bit shaky about it even though I hyped myself up for weeks. They talked through the whole process and I really appreciated that. The forceps were pretty much the worst part but only lasted for a second. I came back with my mother cause her piercing closed and she enjoyed the experience.Made myself another appointment for today to get jewelry changed.

Gave them one star ONLY because the lady who did the piercing was real chill.My friend and I went here 7/15/17..... We drove over an hour to come here with the possibility of not being able to receive service because we tried to call ahead of time but they dont take phone calls at all, not even for inquiries (we wanted to know if they had a female piercer, super simple ). When we got there I went first, I was getting my nipples redone and wanted her to pierce them in the exact same spot as I had them done before. She marked them but didnt use clamps so the side she went in on is in the same spot as the previous one but when the needle came out on the other side it is TOTALLY OFF. Before piercing me she didnt even make sure the bar she was putting in was long enough to give me room for swelling, and guess what? THEY ARE NOT LONG ENOUGH!!!!!!! Theyre so tight I cant even slide them side to side to clean them because there is no space between my nipples and the balls which makes them bleed. You cant use standard jewelry for all of your customers because everyone is not the same. Now I have to pay more money (as if $75 wasnt enough) and be even more uncomfortable to have someone take these out and put longer ones in. The ink used to mark our skin stained my friends bra ( I wore a black one, thank God). There was also a young girl at the front counter who had no customer service skills, act like we were getting on her nerves and didnt know the answers to our questions. They had a sign that said Jewelry Sale $1 - $5 but when I asked her for a barbell for my tongue she said she didnt know the price, went in the back to ask someone and came back and said She said shed give it to you for $7 I asked her why the sign said something different and she said she didnt know....... I dont recommend this place. Horrible experience. The place is clean and quiet though.

Found this place on Google cause I wanted to get my nose pierced. Super fast and super clean! I was the only one in there so it was very nice to be taken care of without distractions. The lasg who pierced my nose was super nice, funny and definitely enjoys what she does. The price is super great! Will definitely return if I get another piercing!!

I got my first tattoo here recently and it will not be my last. The shop is very clean, organized, and the atmosphere is calm and pressure free. Great Experience!Fast service. I got my nose pierced there and then went back the next week and got this tattoo. I paid $40 for the peircing. I had to put $65 deposit down on the tattoo which went to the final cost. I told her my idea and she sketched it out perfectly. If youre ever in the area check out her work.

I just love my nose piercing. She was very informative, as far as care instructions. She was very welcoming & has great energy. I definitely plan on coming back for a coverup, for the tattoo on my back. I highly recommend this shop!!

Update:My earlobe piercing heal fine and it doing great. However I will like to come in and switch out the longer bar on my left ear to a shorter bar. It is too long and it really bothering me. Could I come in and change it and would it cost me? thank you. This is the young lady that came on May 2 to get her ears pierced.

I am so glad I found this place. It was definitely God sent. After getting a bad piercing done, I went here and got it done correctly by Candi. Which happens to be my name so I knew this was the place for me. As a muslimah, I felt totally comfortable she even had the area setup to where she could draw the curtain for privacy and that really impressed not only me but my husband. She even cleaned and removed my wrong piercing of a frontal helix to the correct daith piercing and Im escatic about it. I will definitely be going back to get the other ear done and bringing my sister for her piercings.

I tried to set an appointment with them through the website, they didn’t have any sort of confirmation and I tried to email them, they did not reply.I decided to call and was sent to a rude voicemail that basically said the same things the website said. I went to the shop to see if I could book in person, nobody answers the door... I see them in the shop ignoring me very unprofessional. And from what I see, artistry wise, not very good tattoos, I wouldn’t recommend that trash to anybody. I simply wanted a nose piercing from them because they had good morals and cleanliness instead, I got my time wasted.crazy, you respond to hate but when i was trying to be a customer I got no treatment at all your priorities are not in order. I still think your art is bad and wouldn’t recommend you to anyone. I’d advise you to maybe not get butt hurt over an honest review and learn from them. I understand covid is hurting small businesses but that is no excuse for bad services.

I stopped by here to get my belly piercing owner is very humble and nice and also a adorable little girl to brighten your day.A year later and I still have the Dr. Bronners Pure Castile soap that I bought there and used for and entire year to cleanse my belly piercing its a really small bottle but goes a long way and I still have some left. I got my belly pierced here Jan in 2018 and in Feb this year because of my scar tissue it finally healed.This was my 6th attempt.

The one star Im giving is based on customer service. So I went to NOTW tattoo shop back in August. When I arrived there was a toddler walking around in the shop who is the owners daughter. I showed the owner what I wanted done & at that moment I was required to pay an $100 deposit to draw up the tattoo. It took her 6 days to get back with me & email me my drawing. When I went back to the shop to get my work done the toddler was there again so obviously the owner has to care for her child while she works. Not really a big deal, I am a Mother so I understand. However, with the owner being the only one there she is left to do everything on her own. Which caused her to stop doing my tattoo 3 different times. That was a little annoying especially because I was trying to keep myself focused off the pain but thats a little hard to do when your session is being interrupted. The tattoo I got done was a cover-up. I was pleased with how it looked when I left the shop. This was the biggest tattoo filled with color that Ive ever gotten. Upon leaving the shop Candi advised me to leave my tattoo covered for 3 days. The main thing she told me was to keep it moist, keep it moist. A few hours after my tattoo I washed it off as instructed & covered it back up with saran wrap as instructed. Keeping it covered as the 3 days are going by my tattoo was really really wet which caused me to be a little concerned & panicky to be honest. I emailed Candi multiple times & her only response was keep it moist. I honestly felt like I was bothering her which is strange because on their aftercare instructions it clearly says to contact them if you have any questions or concerns and consult with your artist before listening to your friends about what to do to your tattoo. Anyway, offering no other answer or reassurance I was left to google & reach out to a couple of reputable tattoo artists who didnt mind answering my questions. A week goes by & my tattoo is scabbing. I emailed her about that & had a few other questions as well & her response was I kept it too dry. So overall my tattoo experience from beginning to the end with NOTW was negative. Its been almost 2 months my tattoo has scarred, my right rose is not shaded all the way in & the way my heart was colored it just looks all black now. My advice to anyone looking to get a tattoo is if youre not familiar with the way a tattoo will heal on you & you need a reassuring type of tattoo artist go elsewhere.Edit: 10/18/17 (Response to co-owner)Whats that? Youre inviting people down to your shop to show emails between a client & a tattoo artist. Hmmm, pretty sure thats violating my privacy. But be my guest. You must be upset because I mentioned your toddler. I figured youd respond not taking any accountability & also expected this kind of response based on your IG posts. How professional. No need to bash businesses. Reviews are exactly that, you tell the public your experience so thats exactly what I did. PLENTY of businesses I patronize have gotten 5 stars because they know what customer service is. Im a little confused as to why you responded anyway you werent there AT ALL. I dealt with Candi & Candi only. My picture that I sent must have not been that blurry because your Wife responded. I have all the emails just like you do PLUS a picture of my tattoo that isnt shaded all the way in. So you can deflect all you would like. The lovely thing about putting art on people thats not quite up to par is they will ask where you got it done, you respond & the word gets spread from there. So paying customers who have concerns are entitled? That makes sense. No I never did come back down to your shop because why would I be touched by NOTW tattoo shop after encountering your horrible customer service (just like your response) & your mediocre tattoo skills. How about you go down to the shop & help your wife instead of angrily responding to reviews that you dont like. Oh & how bout being honest. I got my Tattoo mid August. I thought I would give it 2 months to heal before I left a review.

Was in Atlanta for the weekend and I decided to get my first tattoo. A small cross and heart. Pretty simple, even when I told her I what I wanted she said it would only take like 5 mins. So I go back to get it done and of course she draws it on. I opted to not get the heart filled in. Since it was my first tattoo I was looking away the whole time. After she was done she wrapped it and I was in my way to pay. It was $65 which I thought was pretty high given how simple and small they were. But I paid it and went about my way happy with my new tattoos. Then I took the bandage off and realized first of all the cross was much bigger than I originally wanted it and the heart is uneven. It looks so bad half of it is exactly how it was drawn but the other half of the heart is so much bigger and the peak is a lot higher. You can spot from a mile away that its uneven. It looks so unprofessionally done. Now Im waiting for it to heal so I can go to a local shop and pay to have it fixed. I will probably end up having to get it filled in which I did not want. I cant believe my first tattoo and I regret it already because of how bad of a job.

Man this lady saved my life today. I had a hard time taking out my L shaped nose stud like who tf puts a L shaped nose ring in your nose? And I didnt know where to go so I googled this place and came across the sweetest lady with beautiful dreads and she took that thang out like it was nothing and she had a fair price to charge. I just really appreciate what she did cus Im going for a job and I cant have no facial piercings. She gave me some great advice as well for my nose piercing. Highly recommend her.

First the shop very clean and safe. I went for 2 tattoos they both had butterflies. The butterflies had no ears. Sister wording looks like just 1 s in it . I have bruises it’s been a week. FYI when artists ask you what design you want and u show them and they response to you when u see the picture they draw it’s not the same they say to you” DON’T be like other ppl.” But the finished work look like a beginner artist. I thought when she said that my tattoos was going to take my breath away. My advice give ppl what they ask for not what u think . Who’s paying !And then they want a tip. Smh

Do you mind giving me some pointers? A lot of People seem comfortable with you and I have a video shoot coming up that I really want to have it done for.

At 60 I finally got my first tattoo, a large eagle attacking a venomous snake on my entire left upper arm. The artist was an angel. She drew the scene from a sketch I made, and then spent 3 hours giving me what was proclaimed the best tattoo in the whole gym where I worked out every day. I was so excited that I finally did it and it could not have been a more fun experience. Oh it felt like a bee sting, but it was worth it to see that eagle winning everyday as I stand in the shower and wash that left arm and shoulder. I think its time for the other arm and shoulder - a warrior fighting the real serpent. I bet she can draw it up for me in 20 minutes, and finish it in 4 hours. Worth every penny.

This is the cleanest, most organized, professional tattoo shop that I have ever been to. The owners are husband and wife and work well together. Will definitely go back again and recommend this shop to others! My wife is already asking when she can go. A+ +

Me and my bestfriend got matching tattoos and they look terrible we were told to keep them moist and thats exatcly what we have been doing ! You can tell that the artist Candi went WAYYYY to deep in our skin our tats look as if they are scabs 😔 ... im very hurt amd disappointed with the out come of this tattoo . I am from philadelphia and i have no way in getting intouch with Candi the fact that i trusted hsr with my skin and got a terrible experience out of it is really sad 😐 i see me and my best friend arent the only one who experienced this issue .. I will be getting this covered up as soon as it heals !! Thank God I didnt get my sleeve done from here!

So I went with my sister to get her septum pierced here and the lady was really nice but just because I have so many piercings professionally done I have to say I wouldnt EVER get pierced here! 1. She didnt use a hollow needle which really bothered me I have had 2 piercings done that werent done with a hollow needle and they took much longer to heal and had to be re-pierced because of complications.(which is exactly whats shes going through now.) Also after the initial puncture she had to fish around for like 2 mins to get the needle through the other side which should NEVER happen, so there was way more blood then needed to be. Then while walking around her studio I didnt see any sort of piercing or tattoo licensing or certificates displayed which should have been the 1st red flag but my sister insisted that this was where she was going. Then to top it all off her aftercare instructions made me cringe... she was like you can use whatever to clean it, Q-tips are fine and it should be healed within like 2 weeks. She didnt advise her about the importance of saline and sterile cleaning or seem to even know that Q-tips can leave the fuzzies on your fresh piercing and cause infection (which they did) and non iodized sea salt as an alternative or how many times a day she should be cleaning it or anything. She was really nice though just trully not of this world...like clueless maybe #sorrynotsorry

I had my septum, medusa, and nostril pierced last September 2020 by a woman who said she was the shop owner. The piercings went by without incident, and i have no complaints about sanitation or comfort level during the process. That evening however, my medusa ball fell out and appeared to have broken off from the bar, as the ball was still attached. I reached out to the owner and was told to come back in the following day.I and my partner had tried in vain to reattach the ball and prevent the piercing from closing, as i explained when i got back to the shop. We suspected that the jewelry (which has a seperate cost to the price of the piercing) was defective as both me and my partner have multiple piercings and know our way around body jewelry.I was dissapointed that less than 12hrs from getting pierced, and after reaching out to her on the same day, that i was asked to repay for both the piercing and the jewelry, especially since it was defective, and therefore could not have been fastened adeqautely to begin with.Lastly, while getting pierced I scheduled a tattoo appointment for the same week with her, but cancelled as a result of my unhapiness with how she handled the defective jewelry and was unable to get my deposit for the tattoo back, which is in addition to me losing out on the cost of the medusa piercing and the jewelry too.More people should know how she operates her shop with the sale of defective jewelry and the demand for repayment to re-pierce the same site-- its borderline scammy! She offered no alternative, and showed no concern for my overall satisfaction with the visit, and even more alarming, enough awareness that i was meant to see her again soon, for a service far more commited than a peircing, for which i had previously paid my deposit. First impressions are everything, and so is fairness in customer service. PLEASE BEWARE!
