New Hope Tattoo

I’ve been to New Hope twice now for tattoos. Both have been amazing. They are very clean, knowledgeable, and kind. First time I had Noe who did an awesome job. He also did my boyfriend’s tattoo today! Second time I had Ram-he did a great job! He was very knowledgeable!! He steered me in the right direction with suggestions to make my tattoo last and look good long term. We chatted throughout the entire process and he is very kind and laid back. He is very patient and makes sure you are happy with placement, size, etc before beginning. I’ve been wanting this tattoo for a while and I’m so glad I finally got it done today with Ram! I will be going to him in the future for sure. Highly highly recommend Noe and Ram ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was my first time visiting the location as well as getting a tattoo. My experience was very pleasant and fun! The shop was very good at getting back and setting me up with someone who could assist me in the process. Noe was super cool to work with and fun to be around. He kept me busy talking so I barely noticed any discomfort. The shop was clean and the staff was friendly as well as the people coming in for their sessions. Definitely will be coming back to Noe for future tattoos and I highly recommend this shop! 😁

This place is truly exceptional, and its my go-to for tattoos! The staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming, a refreshing change from the common anxiety-inducing experiences elsewhere. Unlike the bad reputation some artists have for being crabby, these professionals here are not only pleasant but also attentive. Jimmy skillfully brought my ghost piece to life with incredible attention to detail, resulting in a beautiful portrait that thrilled me. Equally impressive was Noes work on my Blink 182 ink. These guys are skilled, passionate about their craft, and genuinely care about delivering top-notch results. Whether youre considering a sleeve or any other piece, this is the place to go!

I have had 2 cover ups done, and a third cover up in the process. The 2 that are complete are absolutely PERFECT!!! They are exactly what I want, and they turned out to be vibrant, clean, and so well shaded. I get compliments on them ALL THE TIME!!! I have Jimmy working on my cover ups, and I’ve had the piercer (Brian) do the second hole on my ear lobes. Everyone there is super knowledgeable and friendly, the shop is extremely clean and well decorated. I love that they play movies instead of music. They play good movies too lol. I go here for all of my work because I KNOW what I am getting which is quality work.

I was recommended to New Hope Tattoo by a friend and haven’t regretted going at all. I had never gotten ink before walking into this place. I got paired up with Jimmy and he’s been working on my sleeve now for about 26hrs. Jimmy is a hell of an artist and great with realism. He delivers it exactly how you want it. I had a bunch of ideas for my sleeve and he helped me piece it together where it flows well. New Hope Tattoo is a super clean and friendly place! They have tvs inside and most times let the clients pick what they want to watch. Jimmy will be the only artist to put ink on me. 10/10 ask for Jimmy his work speaks for itself

New Hope is my go-to tattoo shop. Jimmy has done my whole right sleeve, and all the other guys have also tattooed/pierced me. They’ve always taken my ideas and made them better than I could possibly imagine.

This was my first time getting a tattoo and it was an awesome experience! Shop was clean, great movies, and I would consider it great environment for a first timer like myself. Jimmy helped me out with my chest tat and was super reassuring and did a wonderful job. Price was also very fair. Could not recommend more!

I got my cartilage pierced with Brian and it was a wonderful experience. He was very knowledgeable on the subject and answered all my question politely. It was quick and easy! Will be coming back for my next piercing!! :)

Ram was awesome! I had been thinking about getting my tattoos for about a year and was so nervous. When I arrived, everyone was super friendly and the place was clean and decorated with cool art. Ram was knowledgeable and super patient with me. He brought my ideas to life and I couldn’t be any happier!

Absolutely love this shop. I have gotten a bunch of different tattoos done by a bunch of different people until I came here & I don’t think I’ll be going anywhere else. Their pricing is very fair, their place is incredibly clean, the artists are hilarious & do amazing work.I’ve worked with Noe both times I’ve come & he has been such a wonderful person to work with in bringing my ideas to life. The first one I got done with him was back in the summer & it healed perfectly & I just got the bouquet one done a few days ago & I cannot be happier. He worked with me on both ideas (a Tangled-inspired, semi-colon tattoo & my bridal party drew up flowers/plants for a “bridal bouquet”) & I am absolutely in love with both. He also touched up one of my other tattoos that was faded & all wonky. 10/10 experience!

New hope tattoo is a great, clean, and welcoming shop! Noe has done multiple tattoos on me and they are all AMAZING! He does great work! The guys that work there are funny and very nice! They make you feel very comfortable! Can’t wait for my next visit in January!

I am in the process of getting a large tattoo on my arm/shoulder and was very nervous about doing so as I only have one other small tattoo. I worked with Jimmy and he was incredible to work with and made me feel comfortable right when I met him. He made a 4-5 hour session seem like it flew by telling jokes and having good conversation. The tattoo shop also has TVs everywhere where everyone can watch comedies and get their mind off any pain they may experience. Its a fun place to be, filled with a lot of laughter, and the attention to detail that Jimmy put into the tattoo was amazing! Ill definitely be going back for any additional work and am excited to get my current tattoo finished! (Id post a picture, but the tattoo isnt complete, so will provide a picture once complete). I highly recommend New Hope for any tattoo work you have!

Tattoo artist was experienced. His attention to detail and skill was phenomenal. After 2 months it still looks amazing. Jimmy was my artist. It was of gizmo and stripe from gremlins.

First found this place reading reviews on Google... after my experience I thought I would leave a review... Its been about 16 years since Ive gotten a tattoo I decided to go with Ram a young but experienced tattoo artist there... He answered all my questions and did an awesome job, place was very nice and clean looked very new but they have been open for a little bit over two years....Ram is now my tattoo artist....I am deciding on what I want to get next....😊Thank you Ram☀️

I have been going to Jimmy for over 6 years. He understands my style and my tattoos are elegant and do not look like they were done in someones basement. All the artists are professional, clean, perfectionists, and fun to be around. The atmosphere is relaxing. Would highly recommend to anybody.

My husband and myself having been seeing Jimmy for over a year. We love his work and talent. We even took our daughter to get her ears pierced here last December. They were so patient with her. Ram got me into an appointment the next day on pretty short notice. I gave an outline of what I wanted and he did phenomenally. Im so happy with how my tatt turned out. He was also very friendly and perosnable, which made for a very comfortable experience. I only wish I lived in the area so that I could go back to him again!

We took our 8 year old daughter here to get her ears pierced. She was extremely nervous and anxious. Brian the piercer was a rockstar. He was so patient and calm with her. He took his time to explain everything to her and put her at ease as he worked. Couldnt have chosen a better place or piercer. Recommend going here for anything.

I came in as a walk in and to get my belly pierced for the second time as the first time somewhere else was not a good experience. Brian was super nice and made me feel comfortable! He listened to my concerns and put my mind at ease. My piercing feels so much better than the first time I got it done. Such a great experience and will be coming back for future piercings. I came in for a cover up/sleeve… I worked with Jimmy. He did such an amazing job. He sat down with me and thoroughly went over what I wanted. I gave him a few reference pictures, and told him the concept, and he came up with a masterpiece. the colors he used are so vibrant, and the original tattoo is completely covered! His line work was steady and even. I am 110% satisfied with my tattoo and I will be going back!I also had my ear lobes pierced by Brian. He was very careful in where he placed the mark to make sure it was completely even. I am also very happy with the results of my piercings.The shop is super clean, well lit, the artwork of the walls is really cool. They play GOOD movies which I much prefer over music. I’ve seen work that the other artists have done, and it is all amazing!!! Definitely recommend New Hope!!!

Brian was my artist. He took his time, cracked some jokes, and made sure to get down exactly what I wanted and even made some improvements from what I originally wanted. The other guys in the shop were cool as well. Whenever I’m ready, I’ll be a returning customer.

The service was great but unfortunately the piercing is at a pretty rough angle. I got regular lobe piercings with Brian, who was very nice and efficient. The problem is that now that I’ve started wearing hoop earrings or studs with longer backings I can see the piercings are at a sharp downward angle and uneven, so hoops on my right ear stick out and often touch my neck. I wish I could say everything turned out great because the service really was good, but unfortunately I’m pretty disappointed with the piercings.

Went in end of December for nose piercing. Daughter got ears pierced then too. Made an appointment at that time with Jimmy to do two tattoos Id been wanting for years. They represent my children. Both kids had a say in tattoos, and today I got them done! Super happy with experience. Shop is lively, friendly, welcoming. Work is excellent! Will definitely recommend to anyone wanting work done and will go back for myself. Thanks fora great job!

I only gave them 5 stars because I cant give them more. By FAR the best tattoo spot Ive ever been to. Beto is beyond talented. The entire crew is incredible, with client after client leaving happier than they imagined. I can not recommend them enough. I had an arm full of old, mistake tattoos, and Beto covered them with what can only be described as masterful artistic ability. I never thought Id be this happy with a tattoo, but New Hope exceeded all my expectations.

Went in to get my belly re pierced & Brian was amazing. takes his time to explain things, & makes sure you’re A okay before he pierces. I was still nervous for even getting it re pierced just because I had scar tissue from my last belly piercing & he did awesome ! they have a bunch of colors for no upcharge. very clean shop. 10/10.

I’ve been to many, many tattoo shops for both piercings and tattoos but no where has come close to New Hope. Got both an industrial piercing as well as this amazing Buddha piece, both done by Noe. The environment was so wonderful and Noe was a very respectful artist and great to work with. Not only the professionalism and cleanliness was spot on but so was the quality of the work. I’m recommending New Hope to EVERYONE.

My parents, my brother, my wife, and I have all had several pieces each done by Beto, and we all are very happy. Most recently had my first tattoo covered up that was done somewhere else, and cant wait to set up my next session. Alway a friendly and professional atmosphere and the prices are more than fair for the work received. I have been going to Jimmy and Beto for years now! I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my tattoos or piercings! Their art work alone is super FABULOUS! They are so professional, and clean they take their time and always make sure your happy! They are the best of the best! Jimmy and Beto are the best there is, hands down. The work is outstanding, the professionalism is unmatched. I have been getting tattooed by Jimmy for years, and since I started getting tattooed by him, I have moved from Illinois to California, from there to Hawaii, and from Hawaii to Maryland, but I will ONLY get tattooed when I come back to visit Illinois and only by Jimmy. The quality of his tattoos are well worth the thousand dollar/10 hour round trip flight from Hawaii, or the 25 hour round trip drive from Maryland. I can not recommend this shop enough.

After looking for tattoo shops near I decided to come to New Hope Tattoo, based on their perfect 5 star reviews and awesome art I saw in the pictures. I walked in stating I was looking to get my first tattoo and the guy at the front desk immediately got a artist to talk to me about what I was looking to get. I gave him my ideas and pictures and made sure to point the most important parts of the tattoo to the artist, he agreed, I was able to set a appointment within 30 minutes of walking in. I emailed the pictures of what I wanted to my artist like he asked, with no follow up from the artist I waited till my appointment day and showed up. Upon arrival I was extremely nervous and excited about getting my first tattoo ever, we quickly went over the tattoo and I suggested a small change on the outer lining which he agreed, I assume everything else would be perfect, with being nervous and excited I trusted my artist to have include the right and most important piece of the tattoo, once all the lining was done I noticed that he had completely gotten the wrong piece of the most important part of the tattoo. Now I’m have this tattoo that is not 100% to my liking for life, I wish my first experience would’ve been better.

I would definitely recommend getting my piercings and tattoos here. I have gotten a tattoo and multiple piercings here. Their quality of work and pricing are unbeatable. Both the tattoo, and piercings were super quick and painless. Jimmy did my tattoo and Noe did my belly button and helix piercing. I will definitely be returning for more!!

Ram absolutely killed it for my first tattoo. My design was very affordable, and he ensured that I was comfortable and social throughout the process. The shop is super clean, too!

EDIT- my first experience at this shop was okay. Came back here with a friend to get matching tattoos. We were walk-ins on a Friday afternoon. Customer service was great and location is very clean, however our tattoos did not turn out great. Lines are crooked, uneven. We paid $120-130 which, given the final product, was not nearly worth it. I understand that you cant expect perfect as a walk-in, but we thought that simple black lines would have been a safe bet. I also have a random dot underneath one of the numbers. Our artist (I dont exactly remember his name-Ram?) was having issues with equipment and maybe that was a factor. Regardless, I have spent the days since receiving the tattoo planning how to get it covered/removed and have been extremely anxious about this all.

The shop is run very clean. Beto is a great artist, he was able to make my image come to life on my shoulder. He was able to work with me and his style to get exactly what I want. He gave me input and how it might turn out in the long run, which is very much appreciated. He is very professional with his work and will answer any questions you might have. I get alot of compliments on this tattoo compared to the others I have by far.I would highly recommend.10/10

I have had work done by Beto and Jimmy over the past several years and I have never been disappointed. I really believe they do the best work around. Not only Munoz brothers but all of their artist. They have a very clean shop, extremely friendly and not to mention you get to watch movies through out your session.

What can I sayNew Hope is great. So clean, welcoming, comfortable. Amazing artists. Noe provided his services with my blue jay/sunflower tattoo. I came in with an idea and he made it something solid and beautiful. I’ll be coming back 100% when I can. I mean look how clean this piece looks.

Noe did an amazing job on the start of my science sleeve! It was hard to express what I was looking for, but he put together a super cool design that was better than I envisioned with really clean linework. Besides that, the shop was very clean and comfortable. Looking forward to getting more work done here.

I was blown away after my first tattoo appointment with Beto. He was extremely patient with all of my goofy ideas and gently steered me towards the right direction, and I couldn’t be happier. Went with my best friend so she could get a Medusa piercing. Wanted my nipples pierced but was unsure, Ram was super attentive and encouraging. Made the process super quick and as easy as possible. the shop was clean and the environment was friendly. 10/10 would recommend.

Took my daughter and her friend here to get piercings done. My daughter had her nose done and her friend had her ear cartilage done. Ram was their piercer and he did a fantastic job! Very professional, clean, and thoroughly explained what to expect and after-care. My daughter got lightheaded afterward (due to being nervous) and Ram immediately gave her little candy chocolate to bring up her blood sugar and offered her water. I plan to get ink done in the near future and will definitely come here. The shop is welcoming, extremely clean, and friendly staff.

I was passing by and decided to walk in and get a few more piercings in my ears, but wasnt sure what to expect at the shop. Ram was incredibly professional and did a wonderful job. Atmosphere was clean and friendly. And the art on the walls was absolutely banging, considering going to them for some ink now too

I’ve been a returning customer with Beto for going on 8 years now, love his work and the atmosphere he and his shop provide when I’m there. Decided I needed some piercings on a last minute afternoon, I’m happy I stopped here. The place is clean and well kept, everyone was nice and welcoming. Ram did my piercings and was kind and informative. He explained the process and offered to answer any questions. I’m glad to have found this place close to home and plan to check it out again soon.

I thoroughly enjoyed the hour i spent at this establishment. i got my lobes pierced by noe, who was extremely patient with me and my friend. i would recommend attending if at all possible. i will be returning in the future for either a tattoo or another piercing.

I went here a few days ago for a piercing and I loved it! The person who pierced my ear was Ram I belive. He was super helpful with the piercing process and giving me options with what I should do and placements. He was extremely professional, using sterilized needles, making us fill out forms, and we’ll as making sure to use the right gloves so I would not develop a rash. He was super helpful walking me though the piercing, since i have a HORRIBLE fear of needles. He also gave out a cleaner to clean my ear.On a side note my friend got her bellybutton pierced here as well and he did an amazing job as well. Super perfesional, sterilized the area, needles, ect. It was perfectly lined up and everything.

The actual experience of being pierced by Ram was easy and fast- HOWEVER, my bridge was pierced at the wrong gauge with the wrong jewelry- both of which I was told were standard. I was pierced with a 16g curved barbell, which is now rejecting as it is not suitable for a bridge.After doing more research and talking to a couple other piercers, I found out that 14 or 12g straight barbells are standard, and that curved or smaller gauges cause rejection.Seems to be mostly professional shop, but they clearly didn’t have the proper knowledge to give me the piercing I was given. If I were in state, I would ask for a refund- paying $90 + tip for a piercing I was never going to be able to keep in is a waste of money.

These guys are the BEST! I am officially going here for every piercing from now on. Theyre all so friendly and really care about if youre comfortable. I was a little skittish about getting my tragus and daith piercings and they didnt make me feel weird about it lol. Super accommodating and chill dudes. Thank you!

He is doing a cover up on me at the moment nobody else wanted to touch and it was amazing it was a thick cross with a tiki mask and he is covering it up with some biomechanical and it’s looking awesome I can’t be happier probably one of the cleanest and most professional work environment I’ve ever seen for a tattoo studio.

Went in just to get a quote for some writing on my inner bicep, nothing too big. Was quoted 180-280. For writing. Will never be returning here, that is way too expensive and will go to Rising Phoenix in Addison where Ive gotten all my others done. Insane.

Went in to get my lipstud switched to a hoop. I was not asked about gage size (I knew that it was 16g that I needed and I wrongfully assumed it was a universal thing). Anyways the hoop got put in and once i got home I realized the jewlery size was too small. My lip was 100% fine before this and I ended up getting a keloid due to my lip having to reheal around this smaller size. I had to take my lip ring out bc of this. Very disappointed

Beto & co. Have build something special in this studio. Currently he is working on a full sleeve on my left arm. It started as cover up on my old tribal tattoo (1997 🙄) and he made it his own work of art. Right arm is getting jealous!!!!
