This shop is awesome- I got my first tattoo here and have been coming back ever since. Jamison does amazing work and the whole shop has such a cool vibe. I’m happy with every tattoo I’ve gotten here and couldn’t recommend it more.

I got my first tattoo here on a walk in Wednesday and have gotten a few more here since. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming, every time I’ve gotten a tattoo here it’s been a great experience. I am very happy to have found this shop with such a talented and experienced group of tattooers.

I cant say enough good things about this shop. They are true professionals who care intensely about delivering a quality product. When I first came into the shop, Jamison knew right away that my idea needed to be more thought-out before we went ahead with actual design. I appreciated that he worked with me to incorporate both of our ideas into something unexpected and awesome, rather than letting me force him into tattooing a poor design. The shop is very clean and welcoming, with lots of fun secrets to uncover over the course of an appointment.Every artist at Fortified designs unique tattoos that are bold and designed to age gracefully with you. My first piece with them is just as bright and bold 3 years later as it was right after my appointment.Aside from the fantastic tattoo work, each artist cares deeply about their customers, neighbors, and the local community at large. Ive seen them host many fundraisers and community events to support people they hardly knew, just because they believe in their community and want to make things better. I cant wait for my next appointment and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for quality tattoo work.

I love getting tattooed here. I have been getting tattooed for over 20 years, at all kinds of tattoo shops. Fortified has been by far my favorite tattoo experience. The energy of the shop is incredible and I always feel more than welcome. All of the artists that work here are of the greatest integrity and care immensely about giving each customer the best tattoo possible. The shop itself is stunning and always clean.

This is my 2nd time getting inked by Jamison and he is very good at what he does. It was a pleasure talking to him while l was getting my work done. I will never go to anyone else.

Chase tattooed me a couple of years ago and my boyfriend + his dad have been tattooed by Jamison countless times. The shop is clean, aesthetically pleasing, and Chase, Sarandon, and Jamison have always been extremely kind and welcoming. Such a pleasant experience every time I’ve come in! These are people who know what they’re doing and want to take the best care of their clients.

Fortified feels like a second home. Jamison put his whole heart into this shop and it reflects that. It’s absolutely gorgeous and comfortable in all the ways you want your tattoo shop to be. Jamison, Chase & Sarandon are the best! They each have their own unique style. I have a ton of body art by Jamison in his gorgeous unique American traditional style, a few pieces by Chase who is the kindest tattoo artist you’ll work with and you will not regret trusting him to put his spin on your idea, and even one by the lovely Sarandon who is such a joy of a person to interact with even though she’s a newer artist she is talented and incredibly friendly. You won’t regret visiting this shop!

My first tattoo was at fortified tattoo! You can tell just by the decor that Jamison loves what he does. The care and detail that goes into his shop is unlike any other I’ve seen. The shop alone is something to talk about, Jamison has done something special with the way he has built and decorated Fortified. He put his own spin on my wants and made it better than I could have imagined. I moved to Lompoc last summer and was searching for a new artist and I found him!

Impeccable artwork paired with hospital grade sanitation, and a staff and owner that consistently go above and beyond to create beautiful tattoos in a gorgeous space. I am incredibly picky and have zero complaints about Fortified. If you’re wanting an amazing tattoo and a safe and clean space, you could not ask for a better experience than Fortified.

This is such a great shop. Super talented artists, affordable pricing and great work. All of the artists that were there when I got tattooed were cool and I’m super happy with the outcome of my tattoo. The receptionist was super helpful and made an appointment for me with no BS. The shop has great atmosphere. Ask for Jamison, he has a ton of experience with all different styles of tattoo.

I went to get my first major tattoo done here by Alex last night. It was an amazing experience. First, the studio was very clean and inviting. Everyone wore masks and was respectful of COVID guidelines.As for Alex and his work, I was super nervous and he never made me feel bad about it. He drew the picture over again 3 times until it was to my liking without complaint—he has a really good, calming energy. As far as the actual work, the tattoo looks incredible. The lettering is thin and perfect and the shading is unbelievable. The other employee (unsure of name) who was there was the perfect hype man too. Very positive energy. Would recommend this place, and Alex, to anyone

The shop is super clean well organized and nicely decorated with super cool old school Americana. Jamison and Chase are both knowledgeable and welcoming. It’s great that Lompoc now has a reputable shop with solid artists. I’m more than pleased with what Jamison came up with and scheduling was very easy. I used to go here when it was Lost Kings Tattoo and decided to walk in the other day to check things out as I wanted a new tattoo. Staff was friendly and helpful. Super clean as it was before. I made an appointment that day with Chase Holland. He is an awesome artist!! Love my new tattoo!! Its safe to say that Fortified Tattoo is my new tattoo place and should be everyones!

I have been going to Fortified Tattoos for years getting All kinds of work from my sleeve or a rib tattoo done by Jameson, Chase and a lot of his amazing visiting artists over the years. The shops ambience is amazing and well taken care of. This shop puts the health and cleansiness of everyone first. They are very professional and friendly which always has me coming back.. I know during these times it could be scary to get a tattoo but if you are theres no other place better than Fortified Tattoos. I highly recommend setting up appointment and talk with them about the idea u have.

Great shop and fantastic artists. While some shops can feel cliquey and kind of intimidating, Jamison and Chase are welcoming and chill. There’s no sense of judgement at Fortified. Just artists who are trying to produce great work, have fun, and help you get the best tattoo.

Some of the cleanest tattoos you’ll ever find. Jamison tattooed me many times. Whenever I’m shirtless, people lose their minds over my back piece and full front by Jamison. If you want to look tough as nails, go get tattooed at Fortified.

We had very modest (small) work done here. I have had a lot of work done at a.lot of different busy shops, and waiting is not unusual. They have to work on the sketch, etc..Ours had been sent in advance.I guess I was a bit surprised to have had to wait an hour when it was basically void on this day of clients, and we had an appointment time. The artist thought it was cool to chat with a potential client for 10 - 15 minutes (while we were waiting) so more wait time that we could have been spending doing other things. Whats the point of being on time for an appointment? I will say that its a nice shop with a friendly receptionist. Thats the 3 ***

Unlike these nasty reviews I have actually been to the shop. It is easily one of the nicest shops I have gone to both jamison and chase take amazing pride in the work they provide and ensure you get the tattoo you wanted. I have gotten multiple pieces done by both of them and have never had a negative experience. I will always go back to them when I need new work!

Fortified tattoo company is one of the best shops your going to find on the central coast. Jamison the owner is a very hardworking individual that always pours everything into every tattoo that comes into the shop. I cant speak highly enough of how much Ive enjoyed just talking to Jamison let alone all of the pieces he has done on me. Jamison is a very down to earth guy who has worked hard to get the opportunity to open the shop he has now. The shop isnt what you would expect for a common tattoo shop on the west coast, it is styled more so after and east coast shop. Meaning that you dont sit in a stall with just you and your artist, your in an open area for everyone to see and talk. This alone makes all the more fun when getting tattooed at fortified. I highly recommended if you on the fence about what have Jamison do on you that you go into the shop and do the get what you get machine all the designs in that machine are killer and all drawn by Jamison himself.TLDR: Fortified is an amazing shop. Jamison is going to knock whatever you get out of the park for you. Good price for the quality of the work thats being put outPSA: Citizens of Lompoc just because Jamison is the new tattoo artist that does not mean he is inexperienced. Jamison has 18 years under his belt so no matter what your going into get from him its going to come out great!

Too expensive for a small town tattoo parlor.Chase Holland was very judgmental and seemed like he couldnt be bothered. Youll be ripped off if youre a tourist and prob paying for the shop, not the ink.
