There is not enough good words to say about Jessie and Sharky. I had my tattoo of a Phoenix done by Jessie, she is incredible!!! I literally fell asleep it was so relaxing. She has an amazing touch and she is incredibly talented. Sharky was amazing in helping us perfect my tattoo as far as colors to add and helping us with design. I couldn’t ask for a better experience. Thank you both for an incredible experience!! I highly recommend!!!

The piercing is fine, but I would NOT recommend for permanent make up. I paid $1000 for my eyeliner. It’s blue because she went too deep, and now I have scarring. I was also charged an extra $100 for a touch up, I was never happy with it, and now I’m stuck with blue eyeliner.

Wife and I wanted to get similar tattoos at the same time and Sharky’s Paradise was highly recommended to us. Devon did the smaller piece and my wife absolutely loved the experience. They were fun and still professional at the same time. The larger arm wrap was done by Sharky, and he was awesome to work with too. He took the design that Devon and I worked out and then took it to a whole new level. They accommodated everything we discussed about the art, answered questions we had and were a pleasure to work with.Very professional and clean shop, and respectful of what people needed as they came in the shop. In all, we were there about 5 hours total.

Was at the shop all day this Tuesday for my first two tattoos ever. Sat in the chaor for about 9 hours to get 2 pieces done, and it was an amazing experience. Was treated well, got everything I needed, and the work was ABSOLUTELY on point. 10/10 with the art work. Peace!

I had a tattoo done by Eric recently. He is friendly and talented as a tattooist. He gave me exactly what I asked for, and the quality is great. He wasnt heavy handed and the whole process was smooth.The vibe is decent.Lots of young people.Next to Sharky, Eric is the only other veteran artist to round out the roster, as a majority of the staff are in their 20s.Nothing wrong with that, but experience goes a long way in a tattoo shop.Ill be back to see Eric again for sure. Thanks again!

Got my 1st tattoo here a few weeks ago. Fantastic experience! Santi was amazing and super communicative. She really helped bring my design to life, and made me feel comfortable the entire time. I can’t recommend Sharkey’s enough.

This place is amazing. Such a cool vibe and I felt it was a great place to get my first Tattoo while on vacation. I worked with Caylon and he absolutely nailed the design we agreed on. This shop was so accommodating that my wife and my friend both got tattoos the same night. I cannot wait to come back in September to get some more work done. Thank you all very much.

I recently got a nostril piercing here for my 14th birthday July 11th and I will definitely be coming back here. The girl who did my piercing was super sweet and was pretty quick with it, and it turned out great!

Got my moms memorial tattoo finished this weekend. Sharky is the most patient, caring, talented person. I gave him a bunch of pics with some history and explanations. He came up with the best memorial piece, and I loved it. 13ish hours later my beautiful tattoo is complete!! I have to say, Thank you Sharky!! For the good experience, good conversation, and professionalism. I will be back to your shop for all my ink needs. I cant stop looking at your beautiful work!! I couldnt have asked for a better piercing experience for my triple helix! Jess was unbelievably knowledgeable, professional, and helpful with the entire process. She helped my friend and I select the best piercings for our ears, and made sure to include pricing throughout the whole conversation so there were no surprises. Not to mention, she squeezed us in even though we were walk-ins! Excellent job!!

Jessica is amazing!! I had been communicating with her for months prior to my appointment- she answered all of my questions and made me feel confident coming in. She took her time and made sure I was positive with everything before she went forward. From watching her work through social media I knew I was going to love my brows but in the end I was completely blown away with her work! She’s super talented and her and her husband are very nice! Everything is clean and she was detailed in everything from start to finish including all after care information. I highly recommend Jessica!! She was worth months of waiting and traveling from VA to CO just to have her do my brows!!!

This place is top notch, 100% awesome. All of the staff were super friendly, and Mike did an outstanding job with both my tattoo and my friends. He took what we asked him for and made it even better. He was patient, got to know us, took his time, and added his expertise to make it an all-around excellent experience. Pretty bummed, lost a ball on a month old piercing so I stopped by here to get one. Lady offered to put it on for me. Unfortunately I said yes. Let me preface this with - I have worked in multiple tattoo shops and with other piercers. I do understand it is hard to get a tiny ball on a barbell without twisting the jewelry. I get it, I do. But she was not even trying to be gentle and was super rude the second I walked in. After a month of beautiful healing, she yanked and twisted my jewelry around until it hurt and bled. And now I’m back at stage one with healing. So yeah, pretty annoyed. Next time I’ll just go back to where I got it done, so sorry to have bothered you.

If I could, I would give 100 stars. There is truly no better place to get tattooed. I have high expectations for anything that is going to be permanently on my body (as anyone should!) and I can truly say that Sharky is one of the most artistically gifted individuals I have ever encountered in my life. Whats even more is that he has the same expectations for the quality of work produced by anyone else who works in his shop and is also an intelligent and fair businessman. I cant speak highly enough of this shop- Danny, Kev, Ricardo, Trav and everyone else is so great. I get compliments on my tattoo literally daily and I will never be tattooed by anyone else. I have also had piercings by Ricardo and he is equally as talented and professional in his trade. Im just thankful that I encountered this place and that now I have such beautiful artwork on my body.

My friend and I made an appointment with Jessica for a memorial tattoo. I’ve never really had a good experience at other tattoo shops. The tattoo may have been great, but the artists were either snobby or rolling their eyes at my ideas. When we came in, they were so welcoming and we felt comfortable telling Jessica and Sharky the reason for our tattoos. They were so professional and wonderful towards us. The whole place felt very relaxed, clean, and professional. The whole staff was wonderful and I loved the decor. Not only was the vibe uplifting and positive, it’s definitely the best tattoo I’ve ever gotten.The tattoo I got was everything I wanted it to be, and Jessica made some added touches to it that made it look absolutely perfect. I would recommend her for any sort of fine line work.10/10 would recommend! Thank you!

Ive gotten several tattoos done here but this year was strange. When I called to get a tattoo consultation dont with Christian he never called me so I called the shop. The woman said oh Ill have him call you and he never did. Or tried to get me a different artist. Guess my money is no longer green enough for them.

Ive worked with Santi on 2 good sized pieces recently. Definitely recommend her to anyone for their 1st or 40th tattoo! She took my design ideas, helping with positioning/layout, and incorporating her ink style in a way that Im super stoked about.Also the shop is great. Spacious and clean. Good crew working here. Booking, appointment reminders, and payment are also easy.Ill be back for future work for sure

Jess pierced my ears first and then Jess with Sharky pierced my daughters ears. Both lobes at the same time and I’m so grateful. They did an amazing job and my daughter is so happy. All the staff were kind and the entire shops vibe was clean and overall such a great experience. I highly recommend.

Didn’t think about leaving a review but definitely knowing what I know now I will, I went in my first time to get a bridge piercing and I had called before heading in asking if they had an experienced piercer for a bridge and they said yes his name is Zane, My bridge ended up rejecting why ?? You may ask because he pierced it with a curved bar and it supposed to be pierced with a straight one!!! Tipped on that as well, second time I went in to get a belly piercing and it was Zane as well he had me lay down while I got it done and I found out you are supposed to be standing up while its done. I didn’t know that before going in he’s definitely not a professional piercer and I was lied to and wasted my money on things I had to eventually take out don’t know what the point is on lying but just be honest with your clients if you don’t know how don’t be money hungry very unprofessional and annoying

I am not a big reviewer, I read them, but rarely post. I had a 2 yr old memorial tattoo on my arm of a musical cross. I wanted it to be more substantial, and I wanted roses. I saw a rose tattoo on a friend and it looked realistic, better than any i had seen. She sent me to Sharkys Paradise and I met with Todd (Sharky) Consultation went well, he understood exactly what i was looking for. Ive included before and after photos. The experience? Sharky and crew (Kevin, Carl, Jesse and Marcus, and soon to be DC Mike) are beyond professional, fun, and all contribute to a successful outcome. No internal politics here. After an initial session of outlining, it was three LONG sessions. The pictures dont even come close to showing the detail in the roses! (Thanks for forcing the petal veins) They will work with you on budget and deliver a piece of art better than you could even hope for. This is NOT a shop with a book you pick a tattoo from........they deliver high quality work in a meticulously clean environment. If you want a simple tattoo, they will listen to you, and deliver in a very efficient manner. Its not just Sharky who is the artist, while sitting thru multiple sessions, I got to see the work Kevin was delivering...OUTSTANDING!!! I want to thank the whole shop!!!!

Finally choose to get my first tattoo and I choose Sharky’s. Mainly because of the shop, the feel of the staff and welcoming place. They were really helpful in helping guide me.Eric was my artist. He was friendly, relatable, and I think did a good job. I plan to return and have Eric perform more work on my arms.While there for 6 hours I was able to witness other artist and customer interactions all went very professionally. The owner left early and his employees did a great job of keeping up the work ethic, professional atmosphere and making us customers feel at home.I will definitely return.

These people were absolutely outstanding! Jess was my piercer and I absolutely want to come back to her again but I would go to any one of these artists. They’re all very professional and nice. I started feeling faint because my blood sugar dropped and they all jumped in to help out and got me an ice pack and helped me feel better then finished my Medusa piercing. They made my experience phenomenal!

Excellent customer service. I got my snake bite piercing done by Jess and she walked me through everything and helped me relax when the second lip piercing bled more. Only thing I would say that I would change is maybe adding that the jewelry is not included in the price on the website. I got basic hoops and was surprised to see a charge for it. Other then that I felt very at home as soon as I walked in and was able to relax really quickly. This was my first piercing so that was important

Jess pierced my daughters ears and did a phenomenal job. They are six and eight, so they were a little nervous. She made them feel comfortable and went out of her way to make it a fun, positive experience for them. Other staff members also came over to cheer them on. It was an excellent experience and I highly recommend Jess!

I really love this place, they treat you like family, Sharky is a great dude, spent 14 hours on my tattoo in one session and did good detailing. Will definitely come back if I ever need another tattoo. A memorial for my marine brother who passed away recently

I just recently got a tattoo and piercing done by Zane and he did such a wonderful job with both! My tattoo looks great and Im super happy with it and my piercing is healing really nicely. He did a great job making sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. Im definitely looking forward to going back to him for more work in the future!

My wife and I had matching tattoos done here last year, and not only was the customer service excellent, the line work has also held up quite well. The shop has a great atmosphere, and Id absolutely feel confident having more done here in the future!

I had a great experience here! Im visiting from out of town and wanted to impulsively get my nose repierced. I walked up to the door and noticed that they werent taking walk-ins, and Marcus welcomed me in and tried to see if we could arrange an appointment for later on in the day. Jess just so happened to have a break during one of her tattoo appointments and told me that she had no problem squeezing me in for the piercing. I was super grateful for her flexibility! It was quick, clean, and the general vibe of the studio was great. I highly recommend coming here! :)

I went to their shop when it was at the other location on 11th and main and I also had a tattoo artist who is no longer with Sharkey’s but man he did a great job! (Armando Martinez) I went in for a cover up on my arm and came out super pleased!! So then I returned again a short time later and got another tattoo, and then another,… and I’m feeling like it’s about that time again for some more ink and you can bet I’ll be heading back into Sharkey’s to check out there new spot! Bouta get my ink on and check out what Jess can do about these crazy eyebrows of mine lol!!! Great vibes, awesome family ran business, incredibly talented individuals who make you feel especially welcome the moment you walk in!! It does cost to be the boss but you won’t be disappointed cause it’s worth every penny!! Can’t wait to get down there and see it live at their new spot!! I’m sure it is great!!!

Everyone in the shop was wonderful. Marcus was my artist and although I have other tattoos he explained his whole process, which made things very comfortable. He took his time with the tattoo and it came out perfect. It was a group tattoo with 3 other friends and everyone had a great time. It was a wonderful experience and I would recommend to anyone I know in the area!

I got my nose pierced by Santi. I was a little nervous because shes an apprentice but she did an amazing job! I felt totally safe because she explained everything to me and she assured me it was normal when i started to cry (the poke was a shock!). I liked the shop overall too, good atmosphere and everything was nicely priced. I got my nose pierced and saline for under 60 dollars! Ill definitely be coming back in the future

Such an amazing bunch of talented and friendly group of tattoo artists! This place has a family feel and so inviting and super fun environment. Super clean and open floor shop with Dj booth..vending machine ..jewelry for piercings ..comfy couches while you wait and a Lil barista if she is hanging out who appreciates tips for bringing you coffee. Family owned and operated by Sharky and Jess and what truly good hearted and kind people they are. This is one very hard working family right here. Have so much respect for this family. Had a 7 hour tattoo done by Sharky and ecstatic about the result..it came out beautiful. It being a very symbolic tattoo for my passing son couldnt have asked for a better artist!! Great outline .. awesome color ..perfect shading and he was able to cover up an older tattoo. Highly recommend this talented down to earth and humble guy ! Jess is a sweetheart and an amazing woman and cant wait to get my permanent makeup done with her.

Jess is awesome! I had my nose pierced over a year ago from a piercer in Florida and it was fine then I went to go get the ring changed to a hoop and for 2 months my nose has been messed up. I was in pain and I had a nose bump. So I called sharkys paradise and I asked a ton of questions and they were so helpful! So I went in to have my ring changed back to a stud and ended up getting my nose re-pierced Jess suggested that because where my original piercing was had more cartilage and making healing worse! So she re-pierced my nostril! I loved the shop it was so clean and everyone there was so nice!! I recommend Sharkys! Thank you again Jess for taking care of me!

I used a second email account just to review this place twice. Just finished my second piece from these guys, and I left even happier than I did the first time. Marcus was my artist today, and I felt I gave him not much to work with because the image in my mind was rather simple. In our brief conversations about what I wanted, he was able to pick up on the most important things and create something better than I imagined. I couldnt watch him work, due to the placement of my tattoo. I was elated when I first got the chance to turn around and see it. So much more than I expected, in the best way possible. The way he added extra details (nothing that changed the concept, just accented the design I asked for), really made me love his work even more. Im so happy I found this place. These are good people and do amazing work. See yall when Im back round 3!!!!

I had microblading with shading done by Jess. She is insanely talented and did a beautiful job! Her attention to detail made me feel comfortable and allowed me to trust her. Sharky’s environment was cool and relaxing and overall the appointment was easy going. I make it a point to review these guys every time I get a new piece done (I missed the last one so thisll be a double review). Marcus did my piece today - second time working with him. He is a pleasure to work with and a very talented artist. I gave him a simple design, but he still made it look better than I expected. Already have plans for the next one with him.The review I missed was a simple piece from a couple months ago, done by Mondo. He was efficient and did an excellent job adding a bit of shading to my design. Very happy with every experience Ive had at Sharkeys. Ive gotten 4 tattoos there and will be returning for every future tattoo. Great environment, great people, and I always leave with a smile on my face.So happy I found you guys ❤️

I got my undereye dermal done today by Sharky with Jessica assisting. The place is very clean and all the staff I interacted with were very friendly and professional. They didnt mind that I brought my baby, which, as a single mom, automatically made me love them. Sharky was fast, informative, friendly, and the mod came out perfect. Definitely plan on getting more work done with them!Bonus: theres a food truck in the parking lot 👌🏻👌🏻

Jess did a perfect job with my vertical labret piercing and second septum piercing. She has many years expierience piercing and it shows in her precision and confidence. She made me feel comfortable and overall I just had a good time at Sharkys Paradise.

I never leave reviews but had such a bad experience getting piercings here, the man who pierced me was very unprofessional, and smoking his e-cig every few minutes. He didn’t screw the top on my cartilage piercing enough so it fell off days later and I almost lost the piercing because it started closing. I followed their aftercare instructions but then my tragus got embedded into my ear and I called because it was getting serious and I was in pain and he told me that it was nothing to worry about, and that no one could take a look at my ear that day. I ended up having to go to a different piercing place where they said it was was one of the worst embeddings they had seen and I had to get rid of the piercing. Overall worst experience I’ve had with a business, highly do not recommend.

A truly professional staff with incredible talent can say a lot, but dedication to quality and customer experience is whats key and Todd Sharkey definitely shines in the tattoo world. Ive been getting tattooed for half my years on this earth now and I must say all too often people want to rush into getting work done because its exciting and addicting. But what impressed me the most was the approach taken with me and the methodical way I was given a truly custom piece. To sit and interact and have several consultations was an experience that made me feel like I had an actual artist whos goal was not the money in my pocket and sending me on my way but to ensure we we both satisfied with his work. Hats off to this shop and Ill be in again soon!

Zane gave me a tattoo I’ve been wanting for years, and he did a great job. Very professional and comfortable. He worked around my schedule to get me in the shop. The shop is awesome, and he did exactly what I imagined. Highly recommend going to see him.

I actually got two dermals removed and they were so gentle and careful! I wouldn’t recommend the $40 numbing as I wasn’t fully numbed, but wonderful otherwise. Of course painful but no complaints!

A very clean and professional place to get your hair or almost any body modifications done! Got a tattoo from Zane and he did an amazing job, he really took his time and make sure I was happy with the outcome. We were a group of 5 getting a memorial tattoo late on a Friday night: they were accommodating, kind, and truly went above and beyond to make our experience the very best it could be. I was pleasantly surprised by Sharky’s Paradise— the people were caring and entertaining, and made sure my first time getting a tattoo was free of stress. It’s a beautiful studio, and I got a professionally done tattoo for a price lower than I had expected.

Zane did my tattoo and I couldnt be happier with it. I let him do his own thing & design and he knocked it out of the park. Very clean shop and very accommodating and professional young artists. Ill definitely let Zane tattoo me again and Id recommend him to anyone.

These guys are the best! Great family run business who really care. Ive had some tattoo work that is phenomenal, and also permanent makeup (eyebrows) that helps me look put together at all times.

Friend of mine had her piercing done by a potential employee, which my friend has been non-stop bragging about how much she loves it.. considering all she told me (the piercer had a great attitude, worked quickly and efficiently, awesome placement, etc.), i was definitely interested in checking her out for my industrial piercing. But when I tried to set an apointment, i was unfortonatly told she didnt work there. So I followed up with my friend who got pierced, to ask if she had any interaction with the other piercers, to see if maybe she suggested one of them, she made it very clear I would not be happy with their services. I meant he, come on..The person who initially got the jewelry apparently didnt even have gloves on. From stuck up, rude employees, to pushy piercers, to constant glares from others in the shop, I would say this buisness is by far the worst shop Ive ever considered, locally..I never would want even a free piercing, tattooed, or even hair cut from people like that. Unprofessional and unclean.

I recently got my philtrum/Medusa pierced here and wish I hadnt. The jewelry Jess used was for a healed piercing but the gage was definitely too small. 18g 5/16. I expressed concern about swelling and was assured several times that since it was a titanium piece, it would be fine. Within 3 days it was embedded inside my lip! I had to go to another shop since the piercer was on vacation for an additional week (which I was advised to wait out til she would be back). The people at the shop who fixed it had to stretch the piercing up because 18g is WAY too small, and advised that had I waited it out per the advice from Sharkys, Id have had an ER visit in the cards to cut the stud from my lip.

I came here to get my nose pierced and could not have had a better experience! It was my first piercing (besides my ears) so I was sorta nervous. The gentlemen in the shop could not have been more kind. Kev did the actual piercing for me, he was very kind. Afterwards they told me how to keep it clean, and all that stuff.Two thumbs up from me!!

Stopped by because I wanted a tattoo and the door said were busy working call and make an appointment. I would like to meet a tattoo artist before I make an appointment and pay a deposit. If your open for business and want to make money get a receptionist. I thought the note on the door was pretty Rude.

I Got A Piercing Yesterday With Zane & He Did Such A Good Job ! The Shop Was Very Clean & They Checked Temperatures When Coming In. Definitely Recommend Coming In & Getting A New Piercing!

Man, to say these dudes are accommodating is an understatement. I left with exactly what I wanted and its on display to the world but what I was part of during the process left as much of a mark on me as a human and was just as beautiful. In the hour between scheduling my appointment and the appointment itself I was given some information that was full of feels and these guys knew they were looking at a very confused near broken man (with his son on his heels mind you) and its like they knew we didnt have time to be strangers. The pain and anger and fear was now being translated and processed thru the physical pain of the tattoo as well as the humanity displayed by the artists and the other human canvas. I cant thank you guys enough for never judging and honestly trying to help me on such a terribly confusing and internally hostile day. These guys will leave a mark on you without picking up a machine and the world needs more of that.

Got my Navel pierced a while ago, healed perfectly and everyone was super nice.

I observed the owners of this facility at a medical facility become irate when asked to simply wear a mask. I observed how they treated the staff at this facility and it made me quite uncomfortable. If they can’t follow simple CDC guidelines it makes me question the safety practices they use in their own business. People get frustrated but their behavior was the worst I’ve ever witnessed.

Sharky is talented, personable, kind and accommodating. My daughter, home on military leave, asked me to get a tattoo with her. Sharky came highly recommended by another daughter as a real artist. We had a small window of time, but to our delight, Sharky made it happen! First thing I noticed about Sharky (besides being handsome) was his Nautical Star tattoo. Navy is important to him! We wanted a precision geometrical but PRETTY tattoo and he nailed it! Both my daughter and I are delighted. When it was my turn to get my tattoo, without being asked, Sharky turned the music from head banging metal and Rap to something not so harsh. It wasnt Journey and Rod Stewart, but it was nice and this older woman noticed and highly appreciated the kind courtesy shown.I need to tell you something else of importance, imvho. Because of our time constraint, Sharkys busy schedule and his desire to accommodate this military family, we were privileged to spend the entire day with Sharky. We met his wife and three of his five children. As a mother of nine children myself, Ive come to learn what a good father looks like. Sharkys children are happy, loving, respectful, have an entrepreneurial spirit and are obedient (that right-a-way obedience one rarely sees.) He is firm but kind when he speaks to not only his children but also the people who work with him. Everyone seeks his counsel and his approval. Sharkys beautiful wife, who just had a baby, was helpful, attentive and calm, she was in her element... raising children and helping her husband... beautiful!While he worked, Sharky talked of things important to him, his family, his business and his friends. He has many friends he has had since school! They are all now having children and he enjoys the adventures they plan as their families grow! He also has a prison ministry so to speak, where he tries to help out artists by getting their art work out.Granted, this was one day and I do not know Sharky personally, also I did not go to Sharkys Paradise to critique him, but one cannot help but notice qualities rarely seen. I was impressed and I highly recommend this fine American small business owner.

Best experience at a tattoo shop I’ve had, love the vibes and all the employees were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Zane their piecer made a septum switch and a stud piecing a breeze and really comfortable.

Just got back from getting a line-up. I asked for an even buzz all around without a fade, and a line-up around the edges.. basic line up hair cut in my 33 years of experience. Without understanding how much hair she was taking off, this is the most bald I’ve ever been.. I wasn’t going for the scalp look and now that’s what I have.. and I’m not happy with the line up either. The work was not clean. It was my first experience and unfortunately will be my last. This is typically a $15-$20 haircut; $25 at high end barber/salons. I WAS CHARGED $35. I couldn’t believe it. Honestly, a terrible experience that I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Vibes were screaming heavy metal music I might add. Worst haircut experience I’ve had in decades.

So, look, I have about 24 tattoos, and this, by far, is my favorite. I love it. Sharky is the man. He has amazing skills, and I ill never have anyone else touch me again. If youre planning a tattoo and you dont want something crappy then see Sharky. I cant speak for any other artist there, but I guarantee Sharky will kill it.
