We had the best experience with Andrea. My 11yo finally got her ears pierced last year and it was awesome. Andrea was kind, caring, compassionate, understanding and very calming. She offered a stuffy or fidget to hold and was patient and knowledgeable. And the price? Amazing. Will absolutely go back. Wish we lived closer, we’d shop more frequently!

Andrea was FANTASTIC! Super knowledgeable and kind. You can really tell she cares about making sure you’re comfortable, the work she does, and piercing aftercare. I got my nose pierced, and my eyes didn’t even water. There’s also a really cool gift shop, if you’re in the mood to pick up some cute stuff!

My teen and I have both gotten multiple piercings with Andrea. She is wonderful, so patient and thorough! We live about 30 minutes away and it’s definitely worth the drive to get our piercings from her. She will also change out jewelry and help with any concerns you have about your piercings.

I love this place and the owner and partner! They have been so kind and welcoming. When myself, a friend and my 74 year old mother decided to get our noses pierced during COVID times, they made us feel safe and comfortable. And my mothers friends also in her 70s wanted a nose piercing there was no other place I could think of and it was a success. The have been great additions to our small town and I happy they are here. I will continue to promote and purchase as long as they are in Louisburg. See ya next time!

Have been pierced here multiple times, and each time has been a wonderful experience. Unlike other piercers I have been too, I always know the gauge of my piercing, the best ways to clean, and the best products to use when I leave. Not only this, but if you have any concerns for a piercing, she will take a look for you whether she pierced it or not! She is a wonderful piercer, and I feel comfortable the second I walk in the door! If you need a piercing, go here!!

This was absolutely EVERYTHING we could have asked for as a first ear piercing experience. Andrea was so kind, made my 8 year old completely comfortable when she was super nervous. I really cannot thank her enough for such a perfect experience. 10 out of 10 would recommend to anyone and everyone.

We took our daughter her for her first ear piercing and it was amazing from start to finish. She made the whole process safe, comfortable, and confident.

I let my daughter decide when she wanted her ears pierced and when she asked, we booked an appointment for last week. Purple Dots (or as she calls it, purple polka dots) isnt close to us, as we live in Raleigh, but I wanted a reputable piercer for my daughter and Purple Dots came up again and again as the one to go to. Andrea told my daughter everything I had previously prepared her for, helped her pick out earrings she liked and gave her a squishy to hold, talked about the aftercare, and made sure at every step of the process she told her what she was doing next. It was a very straightforward process and although there were a couple whimpers- it is a piercing after all, it was pretty quick and my daughter did very well! She looked in the mirror and said, wow! and then got a snack and a toy. A week later and so far her ears look like shes had earrings in for years already with no issues and she absolutely adores them. So glad we went here!

The shop is clean and filled with cute stuff. She is calm and quiet. Clean and efficient. I was terrified for my piercing but she was level headed and quick. After care instructions were simple and easy to remember.Several of my family members have gone to her multiple times and have never been dissatisfied. The 21 year old and her best friend drove over an hour to get to the shop and said “I’ll never go to anyone else.”Highly recommend.

My teen daughter got a second ear piercing from Andrea in 2022. It healed up nicely. In early 2023, she got her nose pierced. It’s been a year now, and it healed up great. At the 8 month mark, Andrea helped her change the jewelry to a hoop. Andrea has been proactively helpful, and I would recommend her to anyone considering a piercing.Love her shop too - my teen’s favorite shop… stickers, earrings, croc accessories, sunglasses, etc. lots of neat treasures in there!

Question… out of the 61 people that have been to her shop does she ever leave ya’ll locked out too? I feel this business is VERY unorganized and unprofessional. I’m glad I didn’t get any piercings💯… luckily this doesn’t have the option of not getting a star so this 1 star will have to do💯

Andrea is fabulous at answering questions, explaining the process, and giving thorough aftercare directions. She was wonderful with my daughter.

100% recommend. After a bad experience with my older daughter getting her ears pierced with a piercing gun, I made sure to research and look for a different place for when my younger daughter, who is now 6, was ready to get her first ear piercing. I came across Purple Dot and am so happy. My daughter was extremely nervous but Andrea was so patient and kind, she took her time and answered all of her questions, and she was so sweet and again, so very very patient! We made the 45 minute drive from Oxford and it was so worth it! What a great person, shop, and experience!

Ive gotten multiple piercings here and brought my daughter here for her first lobe piercings as well. Safe, clean, and Andrea takes time to explain everything. She also gives you lots of opportunities to ask questions which I appreciate. Cannot recommend her enough!

I took my 8 year old (tomorrow) daughter here today for her first ear piercing. It was well worth the 40 min drive from Raleigh to have the incredible experience we had. Andrea is wonderfully colorful, kind, professional, and she patiently answered my daughter’s many questions about the process. My daughter wants to tell everyone “She’s a really good piercer!” It was the absolute best experience.

I have gotten both ears and a nostril pierced by the piercer here and both turned out really good! I 100% recommend going here if you are looking to get a good healing piercing. Not to mention when you first walk in theres lots of jewelry and little things that you can buy.

Took my 6 year old daughter to get her ears pierced here after reading all the positive reviews....best decision!! Andrea was so welcoming to us as we entered her shop. She was so gentle, easy and concerned when talking to my daughter. I loved that she talked to my daughter about what was going to be taking place first and not me! It was her that was having the procedure and feeling the mixed emotions of excitement and nervousness and the fact that Andrea spoke to her was awesome. And yes, Andres spoke to her and not at her. Then she explained everything to me before proceeding. During the piercing she told my daughter to say stop at anytime and she would stop, and once my daughter did ask her for a second and Andrea, true to her word, stopped and talked to her about what she was feeling. My daughter did it and has been sooo happy with her earrings since. Afterwards, Andrea went over exactly what was needed for care and treatment for a great healing process. I wouldnt consider taking my daughter or myself now, anywhere else for a piercing! If youre looking for a clean, pleasant, knowledgeable and professional place to get a piercing, especially for a young ones first, Andrea is hands down the person you want!!

I highly recommend Andrea. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable with piercings and the after care procedures, she is extremely friendly and takes her job seriously. Her store and piercing studio is clean and very sanitized. It’s a comfortable environment, and Andrea will offer you snacks or drinks if you need it. Her tools are always newly sanitized, and she takes her time placing the spot for your piercing and lets you review before the actual procedure is done. I love that Andrea will take her time and make sure you are comfortable before the piercing begins. It’s quick and almost painless (of course any piercing is going to have some kind of pain). She will take her time to explain the after care in great detail to ensure you understand the importance of it. She evens offers you to come in afterwards with any questions or concerns with your piercing to guide you and give you tips on how to handle any issues (and I say, if any). I also like the fair price! I have gotten my nose and 5 ear piercings done, and I will definitely be returning for more ear piercings. Thanks, Andrea, for a great service!

This place was recommended by a neighbor who got her nose pierced here. I HATE needles, but Andrea was amazing with explaining every detail of the process which was extremely quick. I did my research beforehand (needle vs gun, types of ring material is best for healing, etc.), so I knew what to ask. Andrea made me feel very comfortable. I am very pleased with the result and will travel 30 minutes again if I ever get another piercing.

My 5 1/2 year old daughter wanted to get her ears pierced while we were visiting in the area. Andrea couldn’t have been more patient and explained everything to my daughter on what to expect. After the first ear was pierced, she didn’t want to continue. Andrea didn’t force anything, just let my daughter think it through and gave her time to calm down. For such a scary adventure for my daughter, I couldn’t be happier with how everything went.

I love everything about this shop. I am a repeat customer and have been pierced by Andrea over 7 times. There is no other person I trust to pierce me besides Andrea. I will not go anywhere else. The shop is adorable, clean, and a positive atmosphere. Andrea is extremely knowledgeable, takes her time with you, but also pierces fast to make the experience as painless as possible. Shes also very good at what she does. Prices are extremely fair and reasonable but exceptional quality. Even if I moved a few hours away, I would make the drive to see Andrea. Do not go to Raleigh and get cheap crooked piercings when you can see Andrea and get it done the right way!

I had caught a 10 year old piercing on a table and tore it. I had asked for recommendations on a piercer I could ask about it just to make sure it was ok, what did I need to do to heal it properly, etc. and Andrea was recommended by multiple people and I can see why! She was very responsive to my email and offered to see me for a consult to take a look. I drove in from Raleigh and it was well worth it!! She was very professional, nice, knowledgeable, and the place was very clean and felt homey and comfortable. I would absolutely recommend and Ill likely be in when Im ready for my next piercing!!

What a wonderful experience! We brought our 6 year old for an ear piercing. Not only was the entire experience professional and exceptionally hygienic, we were given thorough information every step of the way. And she kept our nervous daughter calm and consulted every step of the way. We truly could not have asked for a better experience and will absolutely be back.

Andrea is great. She has done several piercings for me and my daughter. Always friendly and professional. She is also available for any aftercare questions. Her shop is unique and showcases local crafts and art.

Andrea has done 3 piercings for me so far - nose, ear and upper ear cartilage - and 2 for my daughter - 2nd holes in both ears. She is very professional, knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything and make sure you are comfortable. Her shop also has a lot of cute items for sale! Highly recommend if this is your first piercing or your 99th one!

Update on my daughters ear piercing. The first time we had them done they were constantly infected despite us following all the rules perfectly. So we ultimately let them close up. This time we went to Purple Dot and we are only 9 days out and everything has healed perfectly. It was such a great experience. We were worried wed never be able to have her ears pierced again after the first experience but are so glad we tried again and went to Purple Dot.

My daughter had her ears pierced years ago and they got infected many times and we ultimately decided to let the holes close. Fast forward 2 years and she wanted them re-pierced. Purple Dot came highly recommended. It was an amazing experience. She explained everything and was so patient and kind with my extremely nervous daughter. My daughter didnt even cry and she cries for everything. I just cant recommend enough.

If youre looking for a comfortable place to get a piercing, Purple Dot Piercing is the place to go! A sweet little gift shop at the front with lots of eclectic things to choose from, and a comfortable piercing room in the back! Everything was sterile. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced. The prices were excellent. Im telling everyone I know about this place 😍
